Disclaimer: I don't own charmed or any of its characters.

Author's note: This is a poem series. A slightly weird idea, I know. But I thought it was a good one. I don't expect many reviews for this, well... collection (feel free to surprise me!) but it was an idea that really wouldn't leave me alone. So I'm starting at the beginning, in series one.

This poem is from Leo Wyatt's point of view, when the Halliwell's still thought he was just a handy man. It is about how he felt lying to Piper, about he was. (oh, and because it wouldnt let me put it in stanza's,I put the first word of every stanza in bold.)

SEASON ONE

(Leo.)

The lie I told to you…

I smile…

Where am I from?

"Around." I laugh

Still in sweet denial.

Trying

To be

Who I said I was.

Do

What I said I do.

Be the lie

I told to you…

Who are you

To distrust that?

What reason

Would you have?

So pure.

Innocent.

Trusting.

So with me

You laugh.

Though every kiss

Near kills me.

And with every word

I die.

I cannot tell you.

Confide in you.

Enlighten you.

It's not my choice

To lie.

I realize

That you wont forgive that.

And I wouldn't

Ask you to.

But for now

I lie

In your loving arms.

Being the lie

I told to you…
