Author's note: We're still on season one. This poem is about Phoebe Halliwell. It is about the night she arrives home from New York, in 'Something Wicca this way comes.' (once again, the bold words mean a new stanza.)

(Phoebe.)

The bitch is back.

SLAM!

The front door

Harshly meets its frame.

The glass

Miraculously surviving

The arrival.

The bitch is back.

A brief 'Hello'.

No apology.

Explanation.

Regret.

She did nothing wrong.

She stands by that.

The bitch is back.

Spat out

Of New York's

Unsympathetic streets.

Pushed

Back into the arms

Of an unforgiving family.

The bitch is back.

She remains unwelcome.

Unwanted.

By the one she 'betrayed'.

Jet-black hair

Brushed out of startled blue eyes.

They realize the enemy.

The bitch is back…

And she's here to stay.
