Olivia was at home wearing leggings, a pink pull over sweater, and hair up in a messy bun as she laughed hearing about her sons day at school.
"And he kept saying that the hamster likes him the most and when he finally held it, he peed in his hand!" Noah laughed as he told his mother the story
The two were enjoying a quiet night at home but were soon interrupted by the sound of knocking.
"Did you invite the hamster over?" She teased
"Muuuum" she smiled and stood up, looking through the peep hole. Her face fell into confusion when she saw Elliot on the other side. She quickly opened the door to greet him, but something was off.
"El, hey"
"Hey, Liv loo-" he started but saw Noah, "Looking lovely" he covered, "Hey Noah"
"Hey, Stabler" Noah teased after hearing his mother say it a few times causing both adults to smile. However the smiles soon faded because Olivia could tell something was really wrong.
"Oh you're cheeky, just like your mum" Elliot played back not making it known to the littlest Benson something was wrong.
"Hey, No, you wanna go find a movie for tonight while Elliot and I talk"
"YESSS!" He jumped with excitement before running to her office/ storage room to find a movie.
"What's going on?" She asked as soon as Noah was away
"I'm sorry, Liv"
"What?"
"Wheatley." He said simply
"Elliot, enough with the one words, explain to me in full sentences what is going on." She demanded
"Wheatley put a hit out on me and this time he's involved dirty cops. It's not safe for me here"
"So you're coming to say goodbye?" She stated sounding pissed.
"Honestly, Liv I wish I was"
"Go to hell, Elliot"
"No Liv listen, it's not like that."
"So you're not telling me goodbye?" She demanded
"No, I'm telling you to pack your bags." She looked at him like he was crazy and let out a dry laugh.
"Elliot, I don't think you understand. I have a child, a child who's life I don't just uproot because my ex partner has another hit on him"
"Liv, I wish it was that simple but, here look at this" Elliot said as he pulled out his phone and pulled up a video. It was a video of Noah's school.
"El, what is th-"
"Just watch" He said cutting her off. She watched the footage and saw students coming out of the school, she smiled when she saw Noah coming out, but her smile soon faded when she saw 4 men watching, pointing and snapping pictures of her son.
"What is this" she asked horrified
"Wheatley's men outside Noah's school"
"WHY ARE THEY OUTSIDE HIS SCHOOL, ELLIOT!" She screamed
"I- I'm sorry Liv, god I'm so fucking sorry. I would never ever put you or your child in danger an-"
"THIS IS DANGER ELLIOT! He is a small boy, he is my boy and he is in danger. What the fuck is-" She was yelling and Elliot just stood there taking it. As a parent he understood. She was angry, she was pissed but most of all she was scared.
"Liv, I understand. My kids are in danger too, I'm tying to keep everyone safe, I'm so sorry"
Olivia stopped knowing that he was going through the same feelings, she would obviously never want anything to happen to his children
"So what do we do?"
"That's why I'm here. We need to pack, we have a safe house we're goi"
"We?"
"Yes Liv, we. My kids and mum are in Idaho with Maureens husbands family. You, me and Noah have a safe house in Florida to go to."
"I'm sorry hold on, this is just-"
"Liv, I know this is quick and I'm sorry but my bag is packed and we need to go now"
"Ok." She said simply which stunned Elliot
"No arguments?"
"El, I have a kid now. I need to be ok for him and he needs to ALWAYS be ok."
"I'm sorry, Liv. I am so sorry"
"I know"
Olivia proceeds to pack a bag with clothes, and keepsakes.
"Noah baby, I need you to pack a bag ok, bub"
"Why?"
"Just going on a little trip"
"With Stabler?" He said not dropping the nickname making her smile
"Yeah; with Stabler. Now please pack some clothes, toys, games, movies, and books."
Noah packed his favourite things while Mariska packed her clothes and extras for Noah.
"Mum, do I need a bathing suit?"
"Uh sure, honey"
Noah grabbed his shorts and his mum's bathing suit, knowing she wouldn't.
"Where are we going?"
"Florida"
20 minutes later, Elliot was loading the 4 suitcases into his suv while Olivia grabbed the booster seat from her car to strap Noah in. Olivia jumped into the front seat and buckled up waiting for Elliot.
"You ready?" He asked and she gave him a sad smile before nodding her head yes.
