Disclaimer: I own my plot. I'm proud to own my plot. I do not, unfortunately, own the characters. Or the world. That belongs to JKR.

Author's Notes: hehe, I like this story, so it gets more frequent updates than stories I'm getting bored with *coughHARRYPOTTER6cough* Yes, erm, well, Here's the chapter. Read it if you want to, but remember, if you read, review!

Replies:

ApsyconamedRachel—Thanks. The torture chapter will happen sometime during this day, but like you've seen, I never know how long a day in this lasts. The first day was 6 chapters, the second day was only 3 chapters. Ah, your sword may bite, but my sword stings! And it was made by the elves for the Goblin wars. It's name is Glamdring.

Frankie Beeblebrox—hehe, of course! Alice had to get him sometime. I know she suspects something is up, but she doesn't know what. Remus, Sirius, Peter, McGonagall, Dumbledore, and Alice all suspect something is up. But which clever sleuth will find out? Or will Lily and James win the game and not have anyone discover what happened? It remains to be seen (translation: I don't know!) hehe. Sorry, I'm really hyper tonight.

Pherhyandoiel—Thanks. Hope this was soon enough.

Ron-lover-for-life—Here's the new chapter!

Feline-go-meow—Thanks. I went to FicPress and read your story. I hope you got my review. :-)

Rowan the Green Eyed Cat—Yup, I'm going to make him go through that and yup I'm a horrible person. Hehe, I wrote that chapter, and I let my boyfriend read it. He barely started to skim it and stopped. I think he was scared, possibly scarred for life. "tgabjs"? I dunno. Where was it written? Probably just a typo on my part.

Fernanda—Thanks. I didn't know it. I sent her a review to let her know that I knew she was translating the story. It's okay that she's doing it, I just kinda wish she would have asked first. Thanks for letting me know. Thanks for reviewing :-)

BamsSk8Chic—Thanks

Squidluvr4eva—Yup. Poor James. I should shoot him now and spare him some of his upcoming misery.

Accursed—Oh, yes, let's all torture him! I've noticed that whenever an author has a guy and a girl switch bodies, the period is the one thing that's irresistible to skip. It's just so darn funny to see it happening to a guy. Good luck on your V.V.V.V.I.E.T.T.U.A.Q.O.Y.Y.R.C.'s. Sounds worse than O.W.L.s!  Lily and James will probably fight and make up repeatedly. In fact, I'm going to turn into Trelawny, I "predict" that they will fight and make up repeatedly, just like she predicted what would be on their end of year exams.

Briana Marie—Yeah, I know. I looked at what I wrote and I was shocked. I thought, I'm gonna write another 5 days of this? Plus their performance? Ai ai ai…Yeah, I feel bad for Frank too. But I kinda saw him as a loner, but I didn't have the details to it before, and now I do, so it makes me feel worse. I don't think I'm making any sense. James better have a talk with him. I might have to add an extra chapter after they switch back just for that. Or maybe write it and not post it or something because it's going to drive me crazy. I liked Alice in this chapter too. I'm not so sure he would know what that "time of the month" was. Harry's in fifth year and they've yet to mention a single sex-ed or health class. I think (and I put this in the chapter where he finds out about it) that James's dad gave him the talk over one of the summers, but he only gave him the male talk. Didn't mention anything about what happens to the girls. That's what I think anyway. Somebody might found out, I'm not sure. It seems to be a race between Sirius, Peter, Remus, Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Alice to find out and so far Sirius and McGonagall are in the lead I think Anyway, I don't know who's going to find out (if anyone). Maybe all 6 will find out, but not tell each other or Lily and James they know. I like that. I might use that. But I don't know. That makes it complicated. We'll see what happens.  Wow this is a long reply. Thanks!

Hazen—Thanks. Here's the update. Are you a happy camper?

Radioactive Bubblegum—Thanks. I finally got around to updating my AF fic. I feel so bad for neglecting it.

Loraliant Angelisa Snape—Thanks

J.E.A.R.K.Potter—Thanks

Child-of-scorpio—Thanks. Glad you found it funny!

Tenshinoreika999—Thanks. Hehe, that's not in this chapter but it's coming.

Starborn—I think some of them are. Yeah, I know! Lily's kinda like me, and James is, well James is like some of my friends. Hehe. Don't worry, he's scaring me too.

Marauders3—Thanks. I never saw that one, but I like a lot of the stuff on that channel. Almost all of it I think

Lil Bazza—Thanks!

Siriusforeva—I know. I'm so mean to him, but…I can't help it. Really. It's just too much fun to pass up!

FlamezFlyer—Thanks. Glad you liked it. hehe, my friend Megan used to say W00t! all the time.

PeRkieGuRL—Thanks. Yep, James is a good guy all in all, right? Otherwise Lils wouldn't marry him. hehe, sounds fun! I've never been much of a "girl talk" kind of person myself but my friends are. You should have heard them in Latin today…All sitting in a circle to translate this story and alternating between, "What does 'nuper' mean?" "Did you hear so-and-so is going to prom with such-and-such" "Recently." "Really, when did they get together?" "They got together recently?" "What's 'nuper'?" "Nuper means recently!" Hehe. It's funny. Guess you had to be there.

Moggy-is-cool—Thanks

Chapter 10: It Starts

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

James woke up and groaned. He did not want to get up. He had an awful headache.

"Lily, get up," Alice told him.

He sat up groggily, his eyes unfocused. He realized with some embarrassment, that Alice was getting dressed. Of course he couldn't see anything without Lily's glasses on, but he diverted his eyes just the same.

            "Wasn't last night fun?"

"Yeah. Great," James said, wondering if it was safe to look up yet.

One of the other girls from the dorm came out of the shower then with a towel wrapped around her. James kept his eyes diverted by making his bed and rummaging through the trunk for clothes. He kept his eyes downcast when he grabbed clothes and went to take his own turn in the shower. He gave a sigh of relief when the door was safely shut and locked behind him. Aside from Lily and the girls never forgiving him (and probably murdering him several times over in the most painful ways they could devise), he'd feel so guilty if he saw any of them less than decently dressed without their knowing. It would just be plain wrong. Even rule breakers have to draw their lines somewhere, even rule breakers had their rules.

                                                       *                    *                 *

Lily woke up and the boys in the dormitory were just getting up too.

"What sort of slave labor did McGonagall put you to last night, Prongs?" asked Sirius, jabbing Lily in the stomach.

"Cleaning the Owlery," she grunted. "No magic."

"That's harsh. Flitwick assigned it to me once," Sirius said sympathetically.

"If you lot weren't troublemakers, you wouldn't have detention," Frank reasoned.

"Shut-up, Frank," chorused Sirius and Peter.

"Fine. Just trying to give some friendly advice," Frank said, leaving and slamming the door behind him.

"Why didn't you join, James?" asked Peter. "You always love a good round of the 'Shut-up, Frank' game."

"It's not fair for all of us to gang up on him," Lily said.

            "Since when?" asked Sirius.

Lily rolled her eyes. "Never mind." She grabbed something to wear from the trunk and went to the bathroom, slamming the door behind him.

            "What's his problem?" asked Peter.

"I dunno, Pete. But we're going to find out!" Sirius said. "You hear that, James? Whatever's bugging you, we're going to find out about it!" he shouted through the door.

Lily ignored him and took her shower.

"What do you think is up with him, Moony?" Sirius asked, a little deflated.

"I don't know, Sirius. Maybe you're just getting on his nerves," replied Remus. Remus immediately had to duck the pillow Sirius threw at him, but he'd had plenty of practice and dodged it easily. "I'll see you two at breakfast." He slammed the door behind him.

"Pete, what do you think we ought to do about Jimmy? It's clear that Moony's not going to help." In first year, Frank had called James "Jimmy" several times before James had shoved him up against a wall and threatened him if ever called him that again; it was the pet name his mother (and a few other relatives) had for him (especially when he was younger) and he hated anybody else using it. Frank had only used it to annoy him. Sirius used to annoy him sometimes, but he mostly only said it out of James's earshot since he was all too aware of what sort of havoc James could wreak if he were angry with someone.

"I know. But what can we do?"

"I say, we've got to stick by him and be the best friends that we can be."

"And how do you propose we go about that?"

"By doing some good-natured, friendly spying, Worm."

"If nothing else, we can get some stuff to add to the blackmail book."

"Ah, the blackmail book. If anyone found it and was able to actually open it, our lives would be utterly worthless."

"It's true. Ought we to do a bit of spying on our good friend Miss Evans as well?" Peter asked mischievously.

"I think we ought, old friend," Sirius said, grinning.

Together, they went to the Great Hall, intent on finding a seat next to Lily.

The real Lily was just getting out of the shower and getting dress up in the seventh year Gryffindor boys' dormitory. She came out, towel-drying her hair, and was shocked to find everyone gone. "I would have thought somebody would have waited," she said to herself. She didn't delay. She was running late, so with her hair barely brushed and toweled almost dry, she jogged out of the dormitory.

Down in the Great Hall, breakfast was in full swing and the mail was being delivered. Sirius and Peter looked over at the Gryffindor table and grinned. Sirius nodded to the pile of red hair that indicated where Lily was sitting. The seats on both sides of her were empty. At the same time that Sirius took the seat to the right of her, Peter slid in and took the seat to the left of her.

"Morning, Lils," they said together, leaning in front of her at the same time.

"Shove it. I don't feel like listening to you today," James said, poking the food on his plate.

"I feel so unloved!" declared Sirius.

"It just breaks my heart," said Peter, melodramatically.

"You idiots shove off or I'll give you a bruising you won't soon forget," James told them.

"Somebody's in a bad mood this morning," Peter said cheerfully.

"Besides, how's the big bad Miss Evans going to hurt such manly studs as us? Even Peter is bigger than you, Evans."

"Doesn't mean I won't kick your sorry butts if you don't leave me alone," James said.

            "But—" started Sirius.

James had had enough. His head hurt and his breakfast didn't seem to be agreeing with him. James shoved his half eaten plate in front of Sirius and pushed his face down into it. He stalked off angrily.

The look Alice gave Peter and Sirius (who quite literally had egg on his face) had no sympathy whatsoever. "Don't mess with Lily Evans or she's likely to kill you. As it is, she's in a bad mood."

            "Why?" asked Peter.

"You mean your buddy Potter didn't tell you?"

"Tell us what?" asked Sirius, trying not to sound too eager.

"Lily didn't want to tell me, but in the end she did. Apparently when they were serving detention in McGonagall's room—"

"James said he was cleaning the Owlery," Peter said.

"Shut-up, Pettigrew. As I was saying, when they were serving detention with McGonagall Potter punched her and broke her nose. She had to go to the hospital wing. That's why he had to go to the Owlery. He couldn't just peacefully grade papers."

"Funny, he didn't mention a word of that to us," Sirius said with one eyebrow raised.

"Well there he is now, late as usual. Why don't you go ask him about it?" Alice said, clearly satisfied that she would have sufficiently ruined James Potter's day.

"Don't think we won't. Come on, Pete. Oy, James!"

Lily looked up, seeing Sirius and Peter calling to her from nearly halfway down the table. She was about to shout back and ask what they wanted, but they decided to save her the trouble and raced down and took seats by her, Sirius wiped his face with a napkin as he went.

"Jamesie, anything you want to tell us?" Sirius asked in an all too sweet tone.

            "Like what?"

"Like why you punched a girl?" Peter asked in a low voice.

"Oh…that," Lily said weakly. At least they didn't know about the switch yet.

Sirius and Pete looked at her expectantly, waiting for an answer.

"I forgot she was a girl. I just got so mad at her I hit her."

Sirius gasped, "How could you possibly forget Lily Evans is a girl?"

            "It's easier than you think."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey, I wasn't sure where to end this. Originally it was going to end a "Oy, James!" and then I kept adding stuff. Review please.
