A.N: Why are you writing another KND story if you have two ongoing? Because I can and because I want to. I dedicate this story to my soles Rossett and Val. Writing this story with a lot of love, drama and angst and their 4x60 - 1x274 ships that fascinate them so much. I hope to do them justice.

Although I am a super fan of 3x4, it never hurts to explore other horizons as the good multishipper that I am. Thanks to my soles for teaching me to love more ships.

CONTENT WARNING: boyxboy romance, cute and pretty lime without scratching the lemon, the characters in this story are teenagers and I love teenage drama romances with all my heart, if you don't like it please refrain from leaving negative comments on the story, or just don´t read.

Chapter 1: The history of violence that surrounds you

New school year. It's supposed to be a time of beginnings. Start off on the right foot. To be good at something. Make a good impression. Make friends. Get away from those who annoyed you every time they could. Change something about yourself that bothered you in the past and turn it into something good. Be a good boy. Be a bad boy. In short, many things.

And for Wallabee Beetles, he had only one clear goal in his mind. Propose to his childhood sweetheart.

For years, he kept his heart quiet for fear of being judged. He didn't know where those feelings had come from but there they were, according to him, quite clear inside him.

But he wasn't sure if it was a good idea to talk about his feelings or to shut them up forever, after all he was a boy. Could Nigel One reciprocate his feelings? He had dated a girl from his class named Lizzie. But he didn't seem very happy. That relationship suffocated him and he wouldn't let him be who he really was. Wally could give him the air he needed. No pressure. No demands. Both free. A single being.

"Talking about your feelings is always difficult at first but once you start, it gets easier over time. You should try despite being afraid of not being reciprocated."

Those were the words of his best friend Kuki Sanban.

At first, he thought he was in love with her but it was only during a stage of denial where he told himself that being after a boy was wrong. How wrong he was. As he got older, he realized that it was completely normal, even for boys his age. But there will always be someone willing to bother you about it.

Rejection. Hatred. Denial. Derision. What will the rest say?

"You shouldn't care what other people say about you. You have the right to be yourself and be happy with whoever you are."

The day he came out as gay with her friend Kuki, he couldn't wish for better support than hers. Kuki was a sun that he always treasured to have in his life. She turned her gray days into beautiful blue skies with clouds as white as snow. He greatly admired her energy and her good vibes, and he loved her for that, but only up to that point.

As always, Wally, as his close friends called him, sat next to Kuki. Behind the girl was his other friend who was part of his social group, Abigail Lincoln. She was not very interested in her classes, she was always distracted sending text messages, answering her cell phone and of course, she preferred gym classes and sports before sitting down to solve math problems. She still was brilliant and without much effort, she had good grades. Diagonal to them was Hoagie Gilligan, a walking brainiac, science club president, fan of video games and geek culture. He and Wally had been friends ever since he moved from Australia. He was the first boy who approached him to talk, without making fun of his accent, which had almost disappeared due to all the years living in the United States.

And on the other side of Wally, sat Nigel. He was always so close and so far away at the same time. Especially since he seemed lost lately and Wally realized that maybe he was thinking of someone. Will it be in him? That would be asking too much.

But nothing costs to dream.

Because the greatest desire of any heart in love is for that person to feel the same way about you.

"Good morning students, I hope that this new school year will be very profitable for everyone. I see new faces, could you please introduce yourself?" The teacher spoke when he entered the room. Wally was so caught up in Nigel sitting next to him that he didn't even notice that right behind him, was one of the new guys.

A tall, dark-haired boy with a swirl at the front and a green beanie at the back stood up without much encouragement, looking straight ahead.

"Patton Drilovsky, age 15."

"Okay, Mr. Drilovsky, is there anything else you want to add to your presentation?," the teacher asked with good cheer, but the student was still very serious.

"You don't need to know anything more about me."

"Well, since it's the first day, I'll ignore that attitude and for the next class no caps, hats and anything else on the head, is that clear?"

Patton yanked off his beanie, leaving him with disheveled hair. He was angry.

The entire class then turned to look at the new boy. He exuded a dark aura of few friends. Was he a teenager? His body was bigger than other boys of his age, with that musculature he could strangle you in seconds.

Wally turned on his seat and then noticed that the new boy who was being rude to the teacher on the first day was looking at him. His eyes were dark and his eyebrows were thick. Why was he looking at him like that? Wally sits up quickly in his seat.

"That's all I need, the new one catches his rage against me. Why did he have to sit right behind me?"

Class hours passed too slowly. It was the first day and the teachers seemed very motivated to start everything from the beginning. Couldn't they have some consideration? Come on, the beginning of the school year just started.

Wally was restless. First, because he looked askance at Nigel, who only looked straight ahead and made notes in his notebook. Wasn't he distracted? Second, he felt that the new boy, who by fate had to sit in the back seat, had his gaze fixed on the back of his neck.

They haven't even spoken and that boy looked like he wanted to kill him with his eyes.

"Maybe he dislikes blondes. Please Wally, don't be such an idiot and don't make him angry. Could it be that he doesn't like foreigners?"

It was a relief for everyone when lunchtime finally arrived. Some distraction, fresh air, food in their stomachs, to be able to finish the school day.

It was no surprise to anyone that Abigail showed up at the table where Wally and the others were sitting in the middle of their lunch hour.

"So Abby, what did you find out?" Nigel asks interested as he devours an apple.

"Find out what?" asked Wally, intrigued.

"Seriously, boy, and we've been friends for years. You know, I was talking to my contacts. The information I have for you is quite…interesting." She moved their palms up and down against each other.

"Oops, school gossip, I love it. Tell us!" Kuki shouts excitedly, giving small applause.

"It's about our new classmate. Did you notice that there was something strange with him?" Wally stopped eating to better listen to what his friend was saying "According to what I heard, every semester he changes schools, apparently he has a bad reputation and always gets into trouble and his dad, gets him into every summer at a boot camp to improve his behavior and halfway through he ends up running away."

"No way!, that can't be true," adds Hoagie.

"Didn't you see his muscles? I was speechless." The girl fanned herself with her hand thinking about the new boy and Hoagie looked at her with a bad face. "Excuse me, love," she went to her boyfriend Hoagie. "But believe me, all the girls were quite impressed with his physique."

"He's not my type," Kuki added with a shrug.

"Did you notice the look on his face? I feel like if I told him to pass me an eraser he would strangle me with just one finger," Wally said.

Nigel's cell phone rang and he began to type quickly. This was not lost on Wally's eyes. Who had written to him?

"I have to go. I want to be class president this semester too and I have to go to the principal's office right now." He got up and left without saying anything else. Wally looked after him until he was lost in the crowd.

"How weird. Those registrations are usually a few days after the course begins, perhaps they advanced those procedures. It's not like he's seeing someone. Come on Wally, stop thinking about such things."

Nigel didn't go to the principal's office. Instead, he headed to the roof of the school. Not many people really went there except for couples who wanted some privacy and for their first day, he didn't think anyone would use that place yet.

"I knew you would come," said a blond boy sitting on his back and looking up at the sky.

"You said it was an emergency." Nigel walked over to the boy and sat down next to him.

"That's right" he turns to look at him "I wanted to see you."

Nigel almost got lost in those blue eyes that drove him crazy but a bird noise brought him back to reality.

"But we met yesterday."

"It's been an eternity for me." He placed a hand on his cheek and Nigel couldn't help but blush, then pulled away from him. "How about your first day?

"Not much, I don't have much to say."

"Really? Over there I heard that there is some kind of gangster who is in your class this semester. Be careful. I don't want you to be separated from me."

"Why do you say that?" Nigel asks, confused as he adjusts his dark glasses.

"Guys who always come off as rude and troublesome aren't interested in women."

"Are you really worried about him? He gives me the creeps." A slight tremor ran through Nigel's body at the thought of facing the new guy.

Chad glanced at Nigel, then smiled. Of course Drilovsky would be no obstacle between him and his darling.

"Are you sure no one will see us up here?" Nigel asked, looking around.

"If they do, we'll say it's just a meeting of the class presidents, you know, no one takes our place."

"That would make sense if you get elected class president," Nigel smiled.

"Worry about yourself. I'm sure of that position." He brushed her blond hair back, making Nigel blush at the gesture.

The following days seemed to be calmer, with tasks and projects piling up everywhere. At least Wally was spending time with Nigel and the others after school at his house, in a little tree house that his father had built for Nigel when he was little and became his hangout with his other friends, who lived nearby. Wally joined them shortly after arriving from Australia with the help of Hoagie. Where he was lucky enough to talk to Nigel more and get closer to him. Where he accidentally fell in love with him.

He liked to think of scenarios during the night where he would propose and Nigel would admit that felt the same way he did. Scenarios where they spent the day together, went out on dates, kissed, did teenage things, etc, etc. He even dreamed about it and woke up hotter than usual but nothing a cold shower in the morning couldn't remedy.

"Wallabee Beetles," the professor called out his name. History classes were hated by many because he put a lot of work in groups and he didn't let the students freely choose his classmates. He chose them and that put everyone in a bad mood.

"With Patton Drilovsky."

A chill ran down his spine.

"It can't be! Why him?"
