AN: My third Vampire Diaries story which now would be an Bamon story. All human of course and very Au. I've always wanted to try to write an Bamon fanfiction story and hopefully I won't disappoint anyone. Also since it's all human and Au. Every character will be alive, including Bonnie's grams and parents.

Sitting by the window in her bedroom, Bonnie Bennett sip her coffee as she kept staring outside as she watches cars drive pass her house hoping that Jeremy would pull into her drive way already. They made plans to go out for breakfast this morning before she had to go into work, but of course Jeremy was already thirty minutes late. Jeremy and Bonnie has been only dating for about a year now and everything seems to be going great between them, but of course her friends including her family doesn't seem to think that.

They all believe that Bonnie could do so much better than Jeremy Gilbert, hell even her best friend Elena who happens to be Jeremy's sister thinks Bonnie could do better. For a year now they've been telling Bonnie that she should leave Jeremy and find someone else as they warned her he wasn't no good for her. Deep down Bonnie knows Jeremy doesn't always treat her the way she deserves to be treated and he's just stringing her a long. But Bonnie can't seem to let him go as for she was in love with Jeremy Gilbert and nothing was ever going to change that, even if she's in denial.

The ringing sound of her cell brought Bonnie out of her thoughts. Bonnie blew out some air as she picked it and hit the green button to answer Jeremy's call.

" Please tell me your on your way or at least closer to my house like in the driveway." Bonnie said hopefully as she walked towards her closet and grab her jacket from the hanger. Bonnie was just hungry and she didn't want to be late for work either.

" Actually something came up and I am not going to be able to make it." Jeremy said with a sigh as he was feeling guilty for standing her up this morning.

Bonnie threw her hand up in frustration as she tossed her jacket on her bed as she plopped in her chair." What came up?" Bonnie asked as she sighs heavily.

" Um.. a friend just came into town and is going to stay with me for a few days."

Bonnie rolled her eyes as she thought that was the most lame excuse he could up with." Who's the friend?"

" Just a friend who's out of town." Jeremy said with a shrug.

" Damnit Jeremy. You could have called me thirty minutes ago and I wouldn't have to worry so much."

" I know babe and I'm sorry, but I promise I will make it up to you. How about I take you out to dinner tonight."

Bonnie blew out some air as she nods her head." Fine, you can take me out to dinner. I get off at five. You can pick me up around seven."

" I will be there at seven." Jeremy said with a grin. And Bonnie?"

" Yeah?"

" I love you."

Bonnie smiles against her cell as she bit her bottom lip slightly." I love you too." After hanging up Bonnie exhaled a breath as she got up and reached for her jacket up off her bed. She then walked into the living room as she grabbed her car keys and purse heading out the front door.

After Bonnie got done serving a few customers she walked back around the counter as she set the coffee pot back into the coffee machine as she took a seat in one of the chairs. She looked over her shoulder as she noticed Elena walking from the back storage room.

" Hey, does Jeremy have a friend that lives out of town?" Bonnie asked suddenly. Ever since Jeremy cancelled on her this morning because of some friend out of town was gonna stay with him for a few days, Bonnie can't help but wonder if Elena knew about Jeremy's friend or not.

Elena snorts a laugh." Bonnie, the only friends Jeremy has lives here in Mystic Falls. Why did he say he had a friend out of town?" Elena asked as she raised her brow for a moment.

Bonnie deeply sighs as she answered her question." I was waiting for him to pick me up this morning so we can go get breakfast before I came into work. Well when he called me thirty minutes later, he told me some friend from out of town came over and is going to stay with him for a few days." She said as she shrugged her shoulders.

Elena scoffed as she shook her." And, you actually believe that? Come on Bon. That's the most dumbest excuse I've heard and I don't believe it." Elena truly couldn't believe that Bonnie her best friend in the world would actually believe a lie like that, Elena sure doesn't believe it and she's Jeremy's sister.

" Doesn't really matter. Since he's taking me out to dinner tonight to make up for missing breakfast this morning." Bonnie said as she got up and stood behind the counter as she helped her next customer.

Elena waited until Bonnie was done with the customer as she started to speak again." Look Bonnie, I know your in love with Jeremy and you guys have been dating for a year now. But..."

" But what?" Bonnie asked with a sigh as she was really getting tired of having the same conversation. She just wishes everyone would just be happy for her and stop bugging her about her relationship with Jeremy.

" I think Jeremy is playing you." Elena answered bluntly. Bonnie just rolled her eyes as she shook her head when Elena continues." I know you don't think he is, but trust me Bon. I know my brother and he doesn't keep girlfriends for very long."

Bonnie just threw her head back with a laugh as she couldn't believe she was hearing this right now." That's funny, considering I've been with him for over a year now."

Elena sighs softly." All I'm saying is that, I know Jeremy and I have seen how he was in the past with his ex girlfriends. I just don't want to see you get hurt."

Bonnie took a deep breath as she turned around and placed both hands on Elena's shoulders." Elena, I love you. Your like a sister to me and I know you're looking out for me and I really do appreciate it. But whatever happens between your brother and I is my business. So please do me a favor and just stay out of it." Bonnie said seriously.

Elena already knew she wasn't going to stay out of it but she'll drop it for now." Alright, I will stay out of it." Elena said as she shrugged her shoulders as she made a mental note to talk to Jeremy later.

" Thank you. Now I'm gonna go wipe down the tables." Bonnie said as she was done with the conversation and wanted to get back to work already.

As Elena stood by the counter and watched her best friend wiping down the tables, she starts to wonder if she fix Bonnie up with someone new. Elena knows how much Bonnie loves her brother and it's not that she's thrilled with the idea of her best friend dating her little brother. As matter of fact she wants Bonnie to be happy with Jeremy, but Elena knows Jeremy better than anyone and she's knows that he's just going to hurt Bonnie, and that's the last thing Elena would ever want for her best friend.

Walking through her front door and after closing the door behind her, Bonnie headed towards her bedroom as she texted Jeremy to let him know that she'll be ready for their date in an hour. Once the text was sent Bonnie set her cell down on her night stand and walked over to her closet to grab the red dress, the one she knows Jeremy is gonna love seeing on her tonight. Also red high heels to match.

Walking out of her room, Bonnie grabs a towel from the towel closet and walks into the bathroom to take a quick shower. Stepping under the warm water Bonnie hums softly as she closed her eyes for a moment as she let the warm water hit her body, relaxing her muscles.

Bonnie blew out some air as she ran her hands down her wet hair as her mind went to her conversation with Elena this morning. Bonnie knows that Elena is just looking out for her and Bonnie does love Elena for it.She just wishes Elena would just ease up a little, but then again if Elena was dating her brother and Bonnie knew how her brother was with women, then Bonnie would also look out for Elena as well.

Getting out of the shower Bonnie reached for the towel, after she dried off and slipped her red dress on, that it fit her curves just right and the slit went up just above her thigh. Slipping her high heels on Bonnie started to brush her hair and blow drying it at the same time. Once her hair was dry Bonnie took the curling iron and curled her hair.

After applying some lipstick and some blush, Bonnie stepped back from the bathroom sink and straighten her dress. After she did her final check to make sure she didn't miss anything and her hair, and make up was just right she walked out of the bathroom just as she heard a knock coming from her front door.

Walking towards her front door with a huge grin on her face as she already knew it was Jeremy right outside her door. " Right on time." Bonnie said as she started to open her door. But as soon as she opens the door and her smile dropped as she drops her shoulders in disappointment.

" Hi mom." Bonnie said softly. " What are you doing here?"
