Betrayed

Chapter 2 – Shattered Dream's

Two more weeks had pasted and Kagome could now walk, but not much she was now able to get up and do daily things. She still had the wounds from Kikyo, but the worst ones haven't healed. For they weren't cause by Kikyo, or Naraku, but by the one she loved and the one which she thought loved her back. But she now thinks that she guessed wrong. For he has still yet to stay with her longer than a second when she is an awake. When she is asleep, he sit's by her side watching her heal feeling tears prick at his eyes. Now she was running from him, trying to get away.

Kagomes Dream

'Where am I?' Kagome thought, as she now saw that she had the Tetsaiga and Inuyasha was saying "Kagome, just give him the sword.". "Why does he automatically get the sword?" Kagome said, remembering that moment. That's right, he was trying to protect me and promised to after this.

Reality

Inuyasha was sitting by the fire in Keade's hut looking at the women who he betrayed. 'The fires making her face almost light up but in a beautiful way. Oh Kagome how could I do this to you.' Inuyashathought, as he now has a flash back of his own. He got up going outside to findany place at all just so he could go fight. "How could I abandon you!" Inuyasha screams. Then another flash back to him begging Kikyo to stay with him. "Wait Kikyo don't leave we have freed you from Naraku now you can come with us and die without regret." End flash back. Oh how could I be so stupid Kagome, HOW COULD I!" Inuyasha said tears in his eyes.

"Inuyasha." Kagome said tears now flowing free from her eyes still closed. He can feel the pain in her sole coming out in her tears and face.

Kagome Dream

Now she was behind a tree looking at the seen before her she was about to cry out in the pain of her heart. She saw the time when Inuyasha, hugged Kikyo to the tree saying "I could care less about how you feel about me!" Kagome couldn't bear to look as she just put her head in her hands and started to cry. Then ran off to leave him forever like she should have done back then.

Reality Inuyasha

I remember how brave Kagome was with the moth demon. Inuyasha has another flash back. "Inuyasha!" Kagome screams running up to him with the Tetsaiga. Trying to get him back to the way he was. Fast forward. Now she is running up to protect him from Sesshomaru. Trying to protect me again. Then by the river. Inuyasha has tears now flowing free from his face. She comforted me when I was in need. What did I do when she was in need. I couldn't even face her. I ran away so that I wouldn't have to deal with the consequences.

Reality

Inuyasha watched as her eye's open. The only emotion was pain, hatred and sorrow. Inuyasha looked into those eyes and realized that it hurt him more to see her hurting then it ever did in Kikyo's eyes.

'It still feels like the dream'. Kagome thought as she started looking into the eyes that she had so many times in dreams or in reality and then memories of the past events in her dreams and all she knew is to get away from him as soon as possible or be shown another painful vision. She started to back away from the figure and saw window of opportunity and ran out the door.

"Kagome where are you going?" Inuyasha screamed running after her. Inuyasha knew where she was running she was running to the well. Trying to get away from him. But she promised that she wouldn't leave my side. Inuyasha thought but then realized something. But I promised that I would never hurt her. I failed on my promise why shouldn't she do her's. Inuyasha thought more tears coming out of his eyes.

It started to rain..

There they were because all because Inuyasha couldn't of remembered her when he saw Kikyo. Now they were running in the rain. She was uterly terrified of him. But could he blame her after what he had done. Sango and Miroku hadn't even spoken to him. But he hadn't even given her a chance. Maybe if he would have spoken to her sooner. She wouldn't be running in fright. Injured and probably getting more hurt by the minute each time she ran. Pulling open her old wounds.

"Kagome please stop running you are going to hurt yourself." Inuyasha screamed watching Kagome running almost tripping on a tree root. Kagome looked back and saw that he was getting close. To close "No stops get away!" "SIT!" Kagome screamed the only thing that she could think of to make him stop.

Too many emotions are hitting Kagome at once her heart was slowly shutting everything around her off. So that she would soon become a person who felt nothing. She would lose every emotion. Love, hate sorrow. All because Inuyasha couldn't let go of the past. How could this have happened, he loved her and now he was losing her.

Inuyasha see's Kagome's eyes losing there rich brown color. They are becoming dark, the tears are slowing down but he can see her face losing every emotion that she ever had or will have. No he couldn't let happen he wouldn't! He must try and help save the little bit of soul that she had left before she truly becomes a walking zombie. Just like Kikyo. He had saw that happen once he couldn't let that happen again.

Back wit Kaeda and others.

They had gotten back and found the place where Kagome was gone and Inuyasha gone as well. It was extremely weird especially when it was raining hard outside and that since Kagome was still injured she wouldn't be running around. Something must have gone wrong. "Sango, Miroku quickly I can feel Kagomes powers something is happing outside close to the well!" Kaeda said getting her hoarse and riding to get to the spot where there was to be something huge happening.

Back with Inuyasha and Kagome

Kagome looks back on all the times that he has saved her. And when she had saved him but now she realized that they meant nothing.

"I have to get away he is coming to get me." Kagome said while running her still wounded body down the path to the well. "If he catches me I am surly not going to make it this time." Kagome said, trying to get herself down the path.

But a red figure appeared before her stopping her at every turn. She looks into his golden eyes. He see's the hurt and sadness in them and he cringes know that the pain he see's he caused.

"SIT!" Kagome screamed starting to run again a little bit of her soul had come back at that moment but she couldn't tell one thing from the other. But her powers wouldn't give up they were bringing her back to what she once was. (this isn't like Kikyos soul collector. They are her miko powers)

She was at the well. Just a few inches from the world where she was from. When someone grabbed her.

"Kagome I can't let you go." Inuyasha said. Now she looked into his eyes and only saw regret and sorrow."

"Kagome please I want you to be alright I... I CANT LIVE WITH OUT YOU! I... I love you" Inuyasha screams. Trying to get to Kagome and bring some life back into those eyes that are becoming so dark.

There they stood standing the rain. Hugging no less, this was everything that she ever dreamed of before.

"Inuyasha, are you telling me this out of guilt for what you have done or do you really mean this." Kagome said, looking into his eyes ready to jump for the well if she saw even a slightest bit of betray or lie in those golden orbs.

From behind the tree's everyone was hold there breath. From one side was Kikyo and Naraku hoping for her to think he was lying and go into an even more terrible state. Sango Miroku and Kaeda had arrived to see them hugging in the rain. Kaeda told Miroku and Sango that this is something that has to be done. Her powers are going to bring her back but only if the right things happen. Kaeda said looking at the couple. The Question was would it end up right.

Kagome and Inuyasha

"Kagome there is no one I would ever feel this way about, I am just sorry it had to come out like this." "But Kagome I really do love you and no one else, this is not out of guilt this is a feeling I have had just never been able to say." Inuyasha said looking straight into her eyes. When she looked into her eyes to look for deceit or betrayal all she saw was love and respect.

Kagomes powers brought back all of her soul her eyes turned there usual bright brown color. In seeing this Inuyasha and Kagome met in a there kiss.

Sango and Miroku

Upon seeing this Miroku and Sango hugged each other. Realized where they were and Sango tried to get out of the hug.

Then Miroku wouldn't let her. 'PERVERT!' Sango thought as she slapped him hard enough to get him off her but not enough to make any noise.

Kikyo and Naraku

Upon seeing this Kikyo became filled with rage. Her whole body started to glow red. Naraku on the other hand just looked on and saw his whole plan fall apart. He got up and walked away to leave Kikyo do what she wished for he knew if Inuyasha didn't kill her he would.

Kikyo was going to get her revenge in good time. She wouldn't let this get her down she would get Inuyasha to go to hell with him.

Inuyasha and Kagome

They broke there kiss not wanting to but having to get air. "Inuyasha I am so happy." Kagome said looking into the eyes of her love. "Me to." Inuyasha said "Kagome can I ask you something...
