Betrayed
Chapter 4 – Day to remember
This is the happiest time in one life doesn't mean that it would be the happiest for another. One face you see a smile for an event the other you see tears. Oh how could everyone be happy but then again maybe everyone shouldn't be happy for it might hurt more than help.
The girl's had ran to the hot springs while Inuyasha went back to Kaede's and made sure that Miroku didn't get enough courage to go out to see them.
Inuyasha and Miroku...
'I wonder where Myoga has gone I need to talk to him about...' Inuyasha thought before he was interrupted by a white flag in his face.
"What!" He said mad that his thoughts were interrupted.
"It is a flag of peace Inuyasha. I just was hungry and put up the flag so that we could be friends again instead of you ripping me to shreds when I come out. So what do you say?" Miroku said, talking as fast as he could to try and make it sound right.
"Fine, what ever just get out here already and get this flag out of my face." Inuyasha said, returning to his thinking at least he wanted to.
"So what were you thinking about?" Miroku said finding some stew from earlier.
"Nothing much, jst where Myoga might be." Inuyasha said,looking at him fall and barley miss the fire.
"That fire is hot enough to melt metal." Miroku said,in a sigh of relief that he didn't fall in it.
"Fire, fire that's where he is,of course!" Inuyasha said starting to run for the door.
"Miroku protect the girls!" Inuyasha said,gone out of the house.
"Protect the girls..." Miroku thinks getting a perverted smile on his face.
"Well I wouldn't want to get Inuyasha mad at me so,entrance stage hot spring!" Miroku said, eaving the stew and getting in a flat out sprint for the hot springs.
Sango and Kagome...
"Yes you do so like Miroku!" Kagome said splashing her friend. Some how they had gotten into a battle over whether she liked Miroku.
"Yeah well at least I don't go hanging around my guy and with that pathetic..." Sango was interrupted by a Inuyasha's voice saying
"Girls look out Miroku is coming soon." With that he was gone.
"I am sick of him looking in on us what do you think that we get him back Kag?" Sango said with a huge smile.
"I would love to!" Kagome said as they both rushed to get dressed and got out some key items.
Inuyasha rushed to find Totosai. Myoga must be with him. Sure enough he was there and sitting right next to Totosi was none other than Myoga.
"Myoga I need to talk to you." Inuyasha said walking in. "It's about my mothers ring." Inuyasha said
"Ah yes the blue sapphire ring that your mother left you for your wife." Myoga said thinking fondly at the memory.
"Yeah well I need it." Inuyasha said blushing.
"Oh it seems my young master has chosen a mate!" Myoga said jumping up and down in excitement.
But was stopped by a fist slamming down on him.
"Inuyasha you remember what the rind will do once you put it on the finger of your true love if she truly is the one you are destined to be with.
"Yes if I find the right one we will be together forever and will both live for 1000 years. And if I choose wrong everyone will die." Inuyasha said remembering the moment his mother told him about it.
"As long as you know that I can give you this." Myoga said pulling a blue sapphire out of his blue bag.
It was a beautiful blue stone that shinned as bright as her blue eyes. The band made of solid gold.
"Thank you." Inuyasha said grabbing it and running before they could tease him anymore.
Miroku arrived 10 minutes later plenty of time for the girls to get a wonderful trap set.
"Hello my little beauties." Miroku said in a whisper.
(Let me go threw there little materials, 1 bucket of honey, 2 pillows.)
"Sango would you like to do the honors." Kagome said quietly from behind the tree. "Thank you Kag." Sango said before pulling down on the string give a scream from the one who was now honey covered.
"What is this?" Miroku said tasting it and finding it very sweet. "Honey?" he said getting a very bad feeling.
"Kagome your turn." Sango said giving her the other string. "Thank you!" Kagome said pulling hard.
Suddenly two pillows came from each end. Coving him in feathers.
"He look's like a chicken!" Sango said laughing so hard she fell to her knee's.
"Hey Miroku over here!" Kagome said when Miroku did look over there she screamed "KOADAK MOMENT!" Kagome snapped three pictures of him in all his feathery glory.
Miroku had to wash the honey for at least 3 hours before it came out. All this while the girls were back at Kaede's.
"Sango where do you think that Inuyasha ran off to all of a sudden?" Kagome said looking out at the almost all gibbious moon. Knowing that soon it would be the time of no moon, Inuyasha's human time.
"Don't know I would say that he will be back since we didn't see him in the god tree and he didn't come when you called him." Sango said petting Kilala.
"I think I'll go look for him one more time." Kagome said getting up and starting to walk back to the tree.
Inuyasha had been thinking of where to give Kagome the ring that was symbolizing all he loved for her. Wait I think I smell her scent.
Kagome decided to walk to the god tree. It was a special place for her and her mother. For her it was because it was the first place that they meet. Her father proposed to her mother. She wished every night that Inuyasha would do the same.
It remind her of so many good times and bad times.
"Kagome." Inuyasha said coming out of the trees from behind her.
"Inuyasha where did you go?" Kagome said happy that she finally found him.
"I had to go see Myoga, um Kagome I have something to ask you." Inuyasha was staring to get really nervous of her answer.
"Kagome will you..." Inuyasha said "Will I what?" Kagome said getting more and more nervous.
"Will you," he got down on knee "marry me" Inuyasha said putting his head between his arms and holding out the ring.
Kagome wanted to faint right then. She was sure this was a dream here was Inuyasha holding out a ring and asking her to marry him.
Kagome reached out and took the ring with a huge red mark all over her face that just wouldn't go away.
"I will." She said just about to break down and cry she was so happy.
"You will." Inuyasha said equal happy. Inuyasha put the ring on her and the ring shown with a brilliant blue light.
"What is happing to the ring?" Kagome said getting worried something went wrong
"Nothing that is my mother's way of saying that she approves." Inuyasha said hugging her. Knowing that this was the person he was truly meant to be with.
All this time Kagome could feel something inside of her growing she couldn't put her finger on it and thought it just as excitement.
"No I WILL NOT ALOW THIS!" Kikyo said coming out the bushes eyes red with hatred.
"Kikyo please just go to where you belong." Inuyasha said putting Kagome behind him to protect her from any attacks that Kikyo might try.
"Hello little brother." Inuyasha turned to see his brother Sesshomaru come out of the bushes.
