Betrayed
Chapter 6 – Land of my father
"He's taken over the eastern castle and is now trying to take over the western the land of my father." Inuyasha said
"He said that Naraku has attacked there kingdom and that they need more fire power. Naraku has sent all of his incarnations, they have been attacking villages of demons and followers of the western land."
"He wants us to come to the western lands to help him." Inuyasha said reading off the items written in the letter.
"So what do you want to do Inuyasha?" Kagome said looking at the half demon who was soon to be her mate.
"Well it could be a trap." Miroku said speaking his mind
"If that was the case then we would be falling right into it and that could mean the end for all of us." Sango said worry in her eyes now.
"No under these circumstances Sesshomaru would be breaking a sacred law upheld by demons." Inuyasha said
"Ok so we know this isn't going to be a trap and we could be able to defeat Naraku." Sango said
"Hey Inuyasha do you demons that control like the western lands have army's?" Kagome said
"Yeah, why?" Inuyasha said
"So what are we talking 100 or 500 or what?" Kagome said trying to get an idea.
"Well there is about (ok people I just want to point out one thing I don't have a clue as to the real population so live with it!) 50,000 demons living in each direction of Japan north, south, east, and west.
"There are about 30,000 in an army. But Naraku has many minions and could probably make them come to his side decreasing the amount for our side and others." Inuyasha said thinking strategy.
"Well when does he want there?" Kagome said
"He is sending a servant to take us there tomorrow." Inuyasha said reading the last of the letter.
"Kagome you should go home and tell your parents that we are going on a long journey" Inuyasha said giving a slight wink.
"Ok well would you mind coming with me?" Kagome said getting her stuff.
"You to have fun now!" Miroku said sitting next to Sango
"Pervert!" Sango said grabbing the hot pot full of stuff and bamming it on the head of one very dead monk.
During all this Kagome and Inuyasha snuck out.
"Kagome make sure to tell your mother." Inuyasha said holding up her hand with the ring.
"I have to stay here just incase one of Naraku minions come." Inuyasha said then giving her a kiss.
"Ok I will miss you my love." Kagome said hugging her mate to be.
"And I you." Inuyasha said hugging her tighter
"Say Miroku is you awake yet?" Sango said to the pile of pervert next to her
"Um I think I am but you are too beautiful to be real this must be a dream!" Miroku said holding her hands in his.
"Miroku go climb up a tree and I hope you get stuck in it." Sango said kicking him away into a wall.
"What I wanted to say is that we should go pack and get some supplies while Inuyasha and Kagome are gone.
"You are right." Miroku said still feeling dizzy
The next day...
The gang had packed up and was ready to go Kagomes bike was out of order so she would have to ride on Inuyasha.
"So what is this informant like Inuyasha?" Kagome asked going threw her bag.
"Don't know but most likely a dog demon." Inuyasha said
"BINGO!" a girl said from behind Inuyasha giving our favorite dog demon a heart attack
"Who are you?" Inuyasha said pulling out his sword aiming it at the new girl and trying to get back some of his dignity
Before them was a girl about 2 years older than Kagome, with long red hair in a braid. She had green eyes and was wearing a green Chinese dress cut up the sides with a tight collar showing off her skinny neck.
"Hi I am Sawako and I am going to be your guide to the castle Lord Inuyasha." She said bowing.
"So witch one is Lady Kagome?" Sawako said running over to Sango with a magnified glass.
"Hum pink eye shadow, long brown hair, battle uniform, small cat like creature. Nope this isn't her." Sawako said losing all interest in the demon slayer.
"So who is this?" Sawako said doing the exact same procedure on Kagome.
"I am betting that you aren't from around here and you don't have the scent of any demon that I can figure yet you still stand out?" Sawako said puzzled.
"But I am betting that you are her." Sawako said looking over the girl
"Ok and now for the final person." Sawako said getting out her magnified glass.
"You might not want to do that." Both girls said when she tried to approach
"Why?" Sawako said
"Lets put it this way if you looked up pervert in the dictionary there would be a picture of Miroku." Kagome said looking at the innocent face he was giving everyone.
"Really, I haven't had a guy that was dumb enough to try to feel me yet!" Sawako said proudly.
Just then Miroku saw his window of opportunity opening and couldn't help himself.
"You are going to die!" Sawako said her eyes turning as red as her hair.
"Oh boy." Was all Miroku could say before getting slammed head first into a tree knocking it over onto him.
"Well why we don't get started going to the western lands." Kagome said trying to calm down Sawako
"As you wish my lady!" Sawako said enthusiastically jumping up in the air.
Moments later a huge red dog with green eyes appeared before them.
(Think of her as Sesshomaru with red hair.)
She motioned for them to get on.
"Soon they will come, and when they do I will be ready." A man with long black hair and red eyes said
"Master the first group is just on the boarder of the western lands. And that we have found a dog demon over in the village where Inuyasha was they are most likely going to the castle." Kagura said to her master.
"Good everything is going according to plan." Naraku said happily (Just in case you are wondering I hate Naraku not as much as Kikyo but still)
"Shall I tell them to initiate the plan?" Kagura said with a smile on her face
"Yes." He said starting to laugh maniacally
They had been traveling on Sawako's back for about 8 hours, finally coming close to the land that Inuyasha new so well.
He was the only one besides Sawako who wasn't asleep.
He looked over the forest, trying not to remember what happened here.
"Sawako how much longer?"
"Not much my lord we should be arriving with in the hour, shouldn't you wake up your friends?"
Inuyasha looked at the sleeping girl before him. Kagome had fallen onto his chest when she fell asleep with that angel face he didn't have the heart to wake her.
"No they need there sleep, I will just have them rooms made up in the castle.''
"Yes my lord.''
Sesshomaru looked out into the night sky he was growing impatient for his brother.
No matter how much he hated to admit to it he needed his help.
The north and south were in no position to help seeing as they were being attacked and if Naraku got hold of there land and attacked him with there army's he didn't stand a chance.
He smelled it his brother was near. "Jaken have you prepared there rooms for them?" Sesshomaru said with the same coldness.
"Yes me lord! All 3 rooms are ready!"
Inuyasha looked up and saw it the castle of his nightmares.
His brother standing right in front of it kind of fits it. 'The castle of my nightmares and the brother of my nightmares.' Inuyasha thought
