Chapter 8- It couldn't be love
"Oh this is a waste of time! Why the hell do we need to be so predictable and make a plan? Why don't we just go and attack straight on?" Inuyasha said, slamming his fist on the table.
"Brother, if we want to go into battle and actually want to live we need a plan." Sesshomaru said, getting mad at his brother but not showing it.
"Well maybe that suits you, but not me!" Inuyasha said, ready to fight right now.
"Yeah well, if you would stop being stubborn for once and just let me explain what I want to do-"Sesshomaru was cut off.
"Yeah well I don't-"Inuyasha said getting cut off
"Inuyasha, be quiet or I will say the word." Kagome said giving him a death glare.
"I am not going to act like a prissy-"Inu
"SIT!" Kagome said, with an angry look on her face.
"Sesshomaru, you may continue." Kagome said, looking up to the whole table that now had sweat drops.
"Thank you lady Kagome, Ok, as I said, the Eastern lands have been attacked and taken over," Sesshomaru said.
After mumbling something, Inuyasha sat down. He knew if he didn't him, would be told to sit again.
Sesshomaru went on talking about how the eastern lands were taken over by Naraku.
2 hours later...
"Ok, now that we have established how it was taken over we can move on to how we are going to attack it," Sesshomaru said turning around seeing that everyone had fallen asleep.
Sesshomaru walked out of the room and came back with servants with buckets of water; he motioned for all the servants to get behind the people in the chairs and pour the buckets of water on their heads.
"Whats going on!" Inuyasha said, jumping up on the table from his 1 hr and 59 min nap

"I hope you guys all enjoyed your rest, but we have but we have a plan to make."
"We will also need to figure out about Naraku." Sesshomaru said, smirking from the look of anger everyone was giving him from the water.
"You are so pathetic you don't even know anything about Naraku. You have to- "Said Inuyasha
"Ok, now let's move on to what we are going to do about him." Sesshomaru said giving his brother a death glare to make him know not to speak another word.
"Which would be?" Inuyasha said, going to make his brother look like a fool tonight, or die trying.
"Well I'll put it in short since you all seem so tired," Sesshomaru said sarcastically
"Ok, well, we are going to have to separate into two groups," Sesshomaru said seeing glares going around the table
"One group will infiltrate with the spies we already have at the Eastern castle, Koga you will be the leader of that group since you know the castle grounds." Sesshomaru said
"You will be accompanied by half of our group, I will let you guys fight it out over who is in the group."
"You will be in various places so you won't arouse suspicion." Sesshomaru said, seeing death glares between Koga and Inuyasha, who looked like they were about to fight over who was the leader.
"The other groups will infiltrate in a different way," Sesshomaru said, turning his back hesitantly.
"First, most of the woman will be in this group. We are going to have to put disguises on the demon girls or else they will be recognized immediately."
"The people in the first group will also have the same type of disguises, for Naraku knows all the princes and princesses and my brothers companions." Sesshomaru said but then felt a piece of paper hit the back of his head.
He turned around to see everyone trying to hold back a laugh.
Sesshomaru looked around and then turned back.
"Ok well now as I was saying you will be disguised by a necklace with which you can change your appearance and scent."
"You should be able to hide it under your clothes." Sesshomaru said.
"They will infiltrate as personal servants so that they can be close to Naraku, the men will be servants to Kagura and Kanna."
"One of the spies at the castle informed me that they are looking for personal servants, in case you were wondering."
"It seems Naraku, since taken over the Eastern Lands, has gotten very, how should I say this?"
"Um, full of himself." Sesshomaru said finally deciding on what he wanted to use.
"Ok now, let's separate into groups." Sesshomaru said, clapping, and Rin appeared with a pen and paper.
"Now, as you know, one leader will be Koga the other will be Ka-"Fluffy stopped when he felt the anger rise when a paper ball hit him in the back of the head.
"Oh little brother can I see you out in the hall for a minute?" Sesshomaru asked in a scary voice
"Um, why Shippo is the one with the paper?" Inuyasha said slipping the paper into Shippo's lap
Inuyasha held up Shippo by the tail with paper in his paws. Shippo was smiling nervously and giving Inuyasha a death glare.
"Rin, who did you give paper to?" Sesshomaru said and Inuyasha look worried
"Lord Inuyasha and Lord Koga." Rin said getting nervous by the looks both were giving her and ran behind fluffy.
"I knew it you! You were trying to frame me you mangy wolf!" Inuyasha said to the laughing wolf at the other side of the table.
Sesshomaru looked at the two and with lightning speed took them out to the hall way and closed the door.
After the meeting...
"Well, it looks like Shippo fell asleep; I will take him to bed." Sawako said walking with Shippo fast asleep in her arms.
Kagome gave her a slight smile of gratitude.
Sesshomaru had gone once he had been done hurting Inuyasha and Koga, who were now unconscious.
"Hey Kaisu, Kita, go back to the Northern and Southern castle and get Koshi, Erito, Kin, and Raidon." Meganu said looking at the girls.
"Yes my lady." They said, then grabbed their packs and ran out the door.
"Who are they?" Kagome said
"They are the four best warriors from the North and South." Meganu said.
"Koshi and Erito are warriors from the south." Meganu said
"And Kin and Raidon are the warriors from the North." Meganu said smiling.
"Well, I guess that we should have one of the servants bring Koga to his room." Meganu said, turning her attention to the wolf.
As she said that a servant appeared and took him away.
Akima saw her window of opportunity when she saw Miroku looking at Sango.
She snuck up with her demon speed and got behind him instantly and gave a feel.
That even Miroku would be hesitant to try.
Miroku tensed and looked behind him to see Akima behind him.
"What, I couldn't help it? You seemed like you were just waiting for me to do that." Akima said winking to Miroku and hitting him in the butt with her tail before heading out.
Everyone mouth hung open at this site.
Kagome decided to break the silence.
"Well, I think I will take Inuyasha upstairs."
"He needs his rest." Kagome said, dragging the unconscious half demon upstairs before a servant helped her.
"Well, I am so tired."
"That meeting was the longest and the boringness thing I ever heard."
"So I bid you all good night." Isano said, bowing and then walking out without another word.
"It looks like you guys need to talk, so I am going to head to bed."
"Good night, and Miroku," Meganu said
"Yeah?" Miroku said
"GOOOD LUCK!" She said, running out the door and closing it.
"Idon'thaveacluewhatshewastalkingabout.IneedsomeairtheniamgoingtobednightSango." Miroku said hoping that he could run away.
"Miroku, get back here." Sango said
Sango got an angry look on her face, and walked after him with her eyes looking like they could burn holes threw the wall.
Now only one was left in the room, and she only had one word to say.
"Meow?" Kilala said.

Outside in the garden
Akima looked at the moon; it shone as brightly as the jewel.
She loved playing this game; she hoped that she didn't get caught again. No she promised herself that she wouldn't, she couldn't.
She was broke out of her thoughts by the presence of Miroku trying to creep up behind her for a feel.
She shook off her tears and put on a tough face, no one will ever get to her.
At least not again. Akima told herself in her mind.
"Need some fresh air, ay monk?" She said in a cocky Inuyasha type.
Miroku fingers twitched, 'I can't believe she caught me, I must be getting rusty. I must make sure to practice!'
Miroku shook of the thoughts and tried to make a sensible excuse, but he could only think of one.
"Ah yah it was too crowded in the castle." Miroku said.
Akima looked at him with puzzled eyes.
"I take it where you come from the house was as big as the Western Castle?" Akima said in a laughing tone putting a smile on her face at the look Miroku was giving her.
"Well, um, that doesn't really matter I haven't met someone like you before, and I was intrigued that is all." Miroku said, hoping that she wouldn't laugh back in his face.
She smiled.
He was falling for it; he was the same as the ones before her.
Now it was time to do what she was taught and finish what she was told to do.
In the background
Sango looked at the site she wasn't sure what she was feeling.
At first it was relief because the monk now had someone else to feel.
All she was looking at was Miroku standing next to Akima out in the garden. The moon there only light, but being slowly devoured by the rain clouds.
But for some reason she felt as if she should be in Akima's place.
But she couldn't help feel a sense of loss about not having Miroku look at her with the spark in his eye's that had been on her since the day they met.
But why?
He hadn't been keeping his gaze on her anymore and that made her feel weird.
Why were those eye's being on her so important to her?
He had been staring at Akima all the time at the meeting.
Miroku never even tried to feel her with his legs, like he had done so many times before.
Sango gave a small sad laugh.
She should be happy, but then why is she here if she doesn't care about him.
If she is happy that Miroku has found someone else to give his attention to?
But that smile that he gave her, sometimes it wasn't a perverted smile it was something else.
Something that she couldn't quite put her finger on.
What was it?
But when Miroku had finally looked at her tonight, Akima appeared and got it right back.
Now she is the one who is getting those smiles, she is the one who is getting...
What am i doing here, i shouldnt be watching this. I shouldnt be here in general!
I don't care about Miroku so I should just go back to my room and forget everything.

Sango's stomach started to feel sick, at the look.

Something inside Sango went wrong when she saw that look, like someone had just kicked her in the stomache hard.
The she felt some rain hit her.
Sango took one look at them they were now getting soaked in the rain.
But you could have sworn that it was sunny, for they weren't feeling anything.
They were in there own world.
The smiles still plastered on their faces.
She was coming over to him
There eyes never breaking contact.
It couldn't be this feeling no it must be another, but maybe.
She got to where they were just one inch away from each other she stood up on her tip toes and he bent down, there lips met.
Lighting now made the garden look like it was day time.
She could clearly see them kissing and it hurt.
She was kissing him and he was kissing her back.
Sango shook her head and backed up to the wall behind her.
Shaking her head, her vision becoming blurry.
No this feeling in me for him, it just couldn't be
She feel down to her knees, laying on her legs and putting her head on the wall.
The slight rain hitting her face.
Letting her know that this wasn't a dream.
No matter how much she wishes it was.

"It couldn't be love." Sango said
Her hair covering her eyes, as silent tears went down her face hitting her knees.
Betrayed
Meganu opened her eyes she felt it something was happening.
She heard a knock on her door.
She grabbed her Taria (her sword).
"Meganu it's me Sawako, can you sense it to?" Sawako said quietly.
Meganu slowly opened the door, her hand on the hilt of her sword.
Once she saw it was Sawako she lowered her guard a little.
"The demons in the castle, it going to attack." Sawako said
"Who will it attack though?" Meganu said closing her eyes trying to sense the power of the demon with no success.
"The demon is moving to fast, you can only sense the power when its close." Sawako said.
"Come on its moving into the western part of the castle." Sawako said running out the door with Meganu right on her tail.
Inuyasha and Kagome...
Inuyasha woke up; he saw the sleeping form of his mate next to him.
He smiled and then got up to get dressed.
Once he was dressed he got his sword and then closed the curtains and locked everything except the door.
"Kagome get up there is trouble." Inuyasha said.
"Oh brother!" Inuyasha said quietly and dressed her into a one of her time pj's.
Once he was done he placed her in bed and covered her with the silk sheets.
He heard a knock on the door.
"Inuyasha, it's me!" Meganu said
Inuyasha opened the door and saw the two princesses with their swords looking ready for a battle.
"Can you feel it?" Sawako said, looking very different from the silly girl he had seen today.
Inuyasha nodded.
"It just passed here a couple of minutes ago." Inuyasha said.
"Kagome is tired and she needs her sleep, I locked the room and she will stay here." Inuyasha said sternly
'I am going to have to use this later.' Sawako mentally noted.
"Ok, do you know which way the demon went?" Meganu said, looking at the look of her friends face.
"Yeah, it went north." Inuyasha said.
"Right, let's go." Meganu said, running north.
The other two followed close behind.
"Those fools are playing right into my trap." The demon said laughing quietly
It appeared from the shadows of the hall where the three demons had been.
It walked to the door of Inuyasha and Kagomes room.
It tried the door handle finding it locked.
It looked at it and used her powers to disintegrate it.
The door creaked open slowly, reviling Kagome in the bed, unaware to the danger coming closer to her as she slept.
It walked into the room and went to Kagome's sleeping form.
It got the knife out of it pocket.
Kagome sensed something was wrong and opened her eyes to find...
"Hello Kagome." She said.
"What are you doing?" Kagome said, backing up only to hit the back of the bed board.
The thunder could be heard from outside and suddenly the window doors blew open, rain pouring in, making its hair cover some of her face.
Then lightning flashed, Kagome could see her face she knew who it was. Even with the hair covering some of its face it was dead obvious who it was.
But something was different.
Its eyes were blood red.
"Die Kagome!" It said, bringing down the knife...
