Chapter 11 Light in the darkness
The demon puppet disappeared and the real Naraku appeared before Inuyasha, no cloak, just him.
"She got what she deserved." Naraku said, looking at Kagome and Inuyasha.
Inuyasha just kept looking at his mate.
Kagomes face barley had any color; on her face was a smile.
'How could Naraku do this to her! I will kill him!' Inuyasha thought throwing the Tetsaiga across the room.
"Naraku for what you have done, you shall parish at my claws." Inuyasha said, his eyes becoming blood red, an evil smirk on his face.
"What is this?" Naraku said.
"This is the end of your life!" Inuyasha said, attacking Naraku head on.
The mysterious figure appeared again, but saw it was useless to try to stop Inuyasha.
'I had best get everyone to safety, this is going to be a battle that no one, and not even the battlers want to be part of.' The figure thought trying to pick up Sango, but then heard something coming from the other side of the room.
Kagome was slightly glowing.
'What is going on?' The figure said, running over to the princess.
Inuyasha just kept attacking Naraku kept blocking, but both were now sporting bad wounds.
"I have nothing left to live for Naraku, so it doesn't matter if I get killed while killing you, if I can avenge my mate's death, it will be worth it." Inuyasha said, in a bloody tune.
'What am I going to do, he is fighting to well I cannot survive much longer.' Naraku thought landing another attack on Inuyasha only to receive a worse blow.
'There has to be a way out this.' Naraku thought.
"It couldn't be!" The figure said, backing away from Kagome.
Kagome began to glow brighter, and suddenly the ground began to shake.
The two fighters were losing their balanced.
"What is going on?" Inuyasha said, putting a hand on ground.
"It is the waking." Naraku said, trying to get out.
Kagome was now glowing fully bright and was being lifted into the air.
Sango and Miroku awoke to a bright light in their eyes.
"What is going on?" Miroku said, looking up to see Kagome floating in the air and glowing in a bright light.
"Kagome-chan." Sango said, looking at the girl
"Kagome-sama." Miroku said, backing away a little.
Kagome suddenly began to glow a dark black and then a bright purple again.
Meganu suddenly woke up to the light, and looked up to see Kagome turning colors.
"What is going on?" Meganu said, sitting up holding her wounded arm.
"It is the awakening, but there is something wrong, she shouldn't be changing colors." Isano said, lying down and looking up at Kagome.
"It's her powers, they are confused." Sesshomaru said, holding Rin who was hiding her face in his clothes.
"What do you mean?" Akima said, looking over at Sesshomaru.
Everyone looked at Sesshomaru trying to get what he was saying.
"The light purple light represents the good and the black light represents the evil power.
If the black light wins we will live in a world where demons are all evil and there are no humans, if the purple light wins I have no idea what will happen." Sesshomaru said, looking at Kagome with a fear in his eyes.
Suddenly a streak of purple light hit Meganu.
"What is happening?" Meganu said, looking as her hair began to turn brown and her wounds heal.
What was left is a healthy, human, Meganu.
"AH! What in the world happened?" Meganu screamed, feeling that her ears were gone.
Everything that made her a demon was gone.
A black streak and purple streak suddenly collided and landed on Rin.
"AH!" Rin screamed, was thrown from Sesshomaru.
Rin suddenly grew black ears on top of her head, her nails grew long, she grew fangs, and her wounds disappeared.
"Ah, what is going on?" Rin said, holding her new puppy dog- ears.
"She is a half demon!" Sesshomaru said, looking over at the new Rin.
Kagome's mind
Kagome was in the dark place again, except that the scenes kept changing.
"What is happening?" Kagome said, running away from the image of Naraku.
"I shall kill you and your mate!" the image of Naraku said, attacking Kagome once again.
Suddenly the scene changed to an image of Inuyasha, Shippo, Miroku, Kilala, and Sango in a field calling her down.
Kagome looked back to see that Naraku was no longer behind her.
"What in the world is going on?" Kagome said turning around only to find Kagura where Inu and company used to sit.
"Dance of Blades!" Kagura screamed sending a attack, wounding her left arms/
Kagome turned around and started to run again.
"Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, anyone help me!" Kagome said running down a dark hallway into a creepy looking castle.
"Everyone get out of here!" The figure said, appearing before the group.
"Koshi is that you!" Sawako said, but was then hit by a black light.
"AH!" Sawako said, her eyes grew red, her nails grew longer, her fangs longer, and an evil smirk crossed her face.
"No Sawako!" Meganu said, trying to run but was caught by the figure and then knocked out.
"Let go of Meganu!" Sango screamed.
"Listen this is best for the princess, we have to get out of here before we all turn evil!" The figure said putting Meganu on his back and starting to run out the door with the others close behind.
Sawako just stood there, a smile on her face.
She looked over at the two battlers.
"Ah!" Sango said falling.
Suddenly another figure appeared and picked her up jumping to get to safety with the others.
Inuyasha and Naraku
Inuyasha just kept attacking even though the ground below him was cracking furiously.
"Inuyasha help me!" Inuyasha heard in his head.
"Kagome." Inuyasha said, stopping.
'Kagome is in trouble, I must help. But Naraku killed Kagome must kill him.' Inuyasha thought holding his head.
Inuyasha's eyes were now flashing from red to yellow.
'I must get the Tetsaiga.' Inuyasha thought but then was snapped back into reality by an attack from Naraku.
"Having a problem Inuyasha?" Naraku said, attacking Inuyasha again.
Inuyasha was now being pulled two ways; a part of him told him to fight, but the other part told him to get the Tetsaiga.
"Soon the song will start and..." Naraku said, but then dodged a falling piece of roof.
Inuyasha in his demon form was now slowly making his way to the Tetsaiga.
'I must save Kagome, she is alive!' Inuyasha thought.
"No, he has scene threw he is going to turn back and help the priestess. I must kill him before the world is plunged into light." Naraku said running toward Inuyasha, but kept being stopped by pieces of the walls.
Inuyasha was about five feet away, but the call of battle was getting to strong, it was coming down to one thing, whether he loves Kagome more or whether he loves to battle more.
"Kagome wait I am coming!" Inuyasha said staring to pick up speed toward the Tetsaiga.

Kagome had many cuts and was hiding in a small closet.
"What is happening, where is Inuyasha?" Kagome whispered when she suddenly felt a blast hit her.
Kagome was pushed into the next room, and was badly hurt everywhere from the blast.
"I don't know how much longer I can fight." Kagome said, trying to get up.
back in reality
Inuyasha finally got the Tetsaiga and was turning back into his half demon form.
While Naraku was still attacking.
'I don't know how much longer I can fight.' Inuyasha heard Kagome say.
Inuyasha looked up to find Kagome's power turning ¾ of the way black and ¼ of the way pink.
"Kagome do not give up!" Inuyasha said, giving a good attack to Naraku with his Tetsaiga.
Kagome's mind
Kagome was back against the wall with Naraku, Kagura and Kanna all facing her down.
"Kagome do not give up!" Kagome heard Inuyasha scream.
"Inuyasha is that you?" Kagome said, standing up feeling a renewed strength.
Purple light started to take over the black again.
"No you are just imagining things now die." The image of Naraku said, sending Kagura to do her Dance of blades.
Kagome dodged and hugged herself falling on her knees.
"Dance of blades!" Kagura screamed, but they were hit back against each other and hit Kagura.
"What how could she put up a priestess shield?" Naraku said.
reality
The Kagome on the outside was hugging herself to.
"Kagome fight it!" Inuyasha heard people say and looked over to see everyone shouting it.
"Kagome I know you can do it!" Sango screamed.
The purple light was becoming more and more powerful.
"No, no, NO!" Naraku screamed, as some of the purple light started to disincarnate his hand.
Kagome's mind
Kagome saw Naraku and Kanna back off. Kagome was now hearing a song in her head, which she felt compelled to sing.
'If I sing this song then every demon I know and love will be killed, I can't!' Kagome thought.
reality
Tears began to well up in Kagomes eyes.
Her power growing and becoming more dangerous.
Everyone looked as Kagome's powers were destroying everything in sight.
"Don't get near either color of light, they will both Kill you!" Sesshomaru said, helping the knocked out Rin.
Everyone kept jumping, but was still being hit.
"I can not hold the power in much longer." Kagome said, the light becoming brighter.
"Inuyasha, Kagome is going to be killed her power is too great even for herself to contain."
Sesshomaru said, dodging another attack.
"Once the song is complete and light or dark wins, she will be destroyed from the power." Meganu said.
"We have to help her!" Sango said, being hit on the arm.
'I have to sing, I can't stop it any longer.' Kagome thought as she was suddenly snapped back into reality.
Kagome let her arm fall to her sides, and she opened her eyes light poring from them.
"hontou ni taisetsu na mono igai subete sutete
shimaetara ii no ni ne
genjitsu wa tada zankoku de." Kagome sung, the dark and light seeming to fight against one another.
"Kagome you are not as weak as you think, I know that you can win as long as you believe!" Meganu said, holding on to the mystery figures back.

waratteru kimi ga iru" Kagome said, the light seeming to gain power.
Suddenly Kikyo's ghost appeared before Kagome.
"Kagome you aren't strong enough as you are to survive this." Kikyo said, pointing at Kagome.

dou ka sono egao ga
taema naku aru you ni" Kagome sung, flinging her head, as the dark light started to grow.
"No, Kagome don't listen to her!" Miroku said, but then was hit and thrown against the wall for his carelessness of not watching where the light went.
Kagome could barley hear him for Kikyo's voice just kept going threw her head.
"Do you really want to die Kagome, do you want to leave your mate?" Kikyo said, pointing to Inuyasha who was now sporting many wounds.

wasurete yuku ikimono dakedo" Kagome sung, as the powers seem to even out.
"Kagome, please don't give up, I know you can do it!" Shippo said, hugging Sango's shoulder.
"Kagome are you willing to hurt your mate because you aren't strong enough!" Kikyo said, about one foot away.

ai o kureru mono no tame dekiru koto" Kagome sung, as she crawled into a ball, the black light starting to take over.
'I can't save him, I am too weak.'
'how can I help him when I can't even save myself.' Kagome thought as she felt some of her life going out with the power.
"No, Kagome is giving up!" Sango said, looking at the black light that seems to threaten to destroy all the lands.
"We have to do something!" Miroku said.
"But what, nothing we have said has worked, I don't think there is anything strong enough." Meganu said, holding onto the strangers back.
"I know one thing, love." Rin said, holding tightly onto Sesshomaru.
"Kagome you must decide, whether you are going to give up and die, along with killing everyone you ever cared for like me, or remember everything you have to live for and over come the darkness, and save everyone including yourself. You can if you believe." Kikyo said, and then faded away when the last word was said.

taema naku aru you ni." Kagome sung and the power had destroyed the entire castle around them.
"No it is the last part of the song, Inuyasha do something!" Sesshomaru said, looking at his brother.
Inuyasha looked up at Kagome and jumped up to her, but was getting shocked by the barrier.
"Kagome!" Inuyasha said, trying to push threw the barrier.
