Betrayed
Chapter 16 Flesh and blood...
Sesshomaru turned around and tried to get the person but he moved to fast and was next to Naraku before Sesshomaru could turn around.
Inuyasha ran over to Kagome and growled in anger at Naraku as he ran over to the other side of the room to get Kagome away from Naraku.
Sesshomaru joined in his brother, Rin in his arms, (is Sess to manly for tears or not I am going to let you decide that) and an angry look in his eyes.
He set Rin down leaning against the wall and turned to face Naraku the Tokigin in his hand to enhance the look on his face.
Inuyasha's eyes were turning beat red even with his Tetsuiga still attracted to his belt. The site of his injured mate, knowing that Naraku had once again been able to hurt his mate was driving him insane. There was nothing that could bring him back from this, revenge would be his.
He laid Kagome down, his eyes now fully red, one thing on his mind. He threw Tetsuiga to the other side of the room missing Naraku's head by inches.
"Aw, did I make Inuyasha mad, at least now you can feel the pain I have felt since you took my Kagome..." Naraku said but was stopped when Inuyasha lunged at him and punched his face.
"Never call Kagome your's again!Inuyasha said as he attacked Naraku again.
Naraku was taken back by Inuyasha's quick movements and was now sporting some wounds on his face. However, after all that he went threw to get this far, he was not going to give up without a fight. Inuyasha was not going to kill him but have it be the other way around.
"You shall die by my claws, blades of blood!" Inuyasha screamed as his red eyes pierced threw Naraku.
Sesshomaru who was still by the girls the sword drawn, looked onto the fight but was unable to do it for the figure that scent smelled half like Naraku and half not stood in front of him, his claws reeking of blood.
"Get back, I wish to deal with Naraku first, then I shall kill you." Sesshomaru said anger evitable in his voice.
"I am afraid you battle is with me Lord Sesshomaru." The figure said and lunged at him.
With a snarl, Sesshomaru raised his sword and let out a blast of power. The figure came up with in two inches of Sesshomaru's attack and then disappeared so fast that not even Sesshomaru could see his moves.
"Where did h..." Sesshomaru said but then felt a hand go threw his stomache.
"Guess it's a good thing our scent is all around you isn't it?" The figure said and jumped five feet back, took out his hand and licked the blood off his hand.
"Basterd." Sesshomaru said and launched up towards him and had the Tokigin go straight threw.
"I knew it you were no match." Sesshomaru said but heard laughing behind him.
He turned to see him unharmed with his face still in a neutral tone.
"Never underestimate." The figure said and lunged at him again.
Back in the battle with the other half of the army.
Miroku and Koga looked across the battlefield, seeing that only their solders stood.
"Inuyasha and Sesshomaru have disappeared and that was way too easy. Something must have happened back at the castle." Koga said as he looked at the red and black sky that was struck with lighting in their presence.
"This is a bad omen, something bad must have happened. We must get to the castle quickly, while we still have a strong amount of people and can turn what ever has happened around... I hope." Miroku said as they yelled out instructions and left to get to the castle.
Inuyasha had a deep gash in his chest, his left eyes was scared and he could no longer see from it, and he was pretty sure a rib was broken. However, he did not care, all he cared about was killing Naraku and exacting revenge for his slowly dieing mate. The thought made his blood boil even more and eyes flash.
Naraku on the other hand was wearing his usual smirk, but was injured with a hole threw his stomache, scratch marks down his face and loss of an arm.
"You can never kill me!" Naraku said and used one of his tentacles and aimed for Inuyasha's stomache.
Inuyasha brought his claws and slashed threw the tentacle and kept clawing it up until he reached Naraku and sliced him in half.
Naraku just regenerated again, the smile still on his face.
"Inuyasha you will never be able to find the spot to kill me!" Naraku said and wrapped at tentacle around the demon Inuyasha's neck.
Inuyasha's hand went up to his neck and he slashed at it, finding it as hard as steel. He dipped his hand in blood and used blades of blood to cut it and fall to the ground unharmed.
He then cut Naraku in half starting at his head and landed on the other side, facing the wall.
'You can never win.' Inuyasha heard in his head that sounded like Naraku's voice.
Inuyasha turned around and saw a spider like demon looking at him taking up most of the ballroom.
"Shijo, finish off Sesshomaru now!" Naraku screamed at the figure, which now was known as Shijo.
Sesshomaru looked at Naraku with his teeth showing and sword still pointed at Shijo.
Shijo took this opportunity and came up to Sesshomaru and ran his black claws from his chest up to his face coming off at his chin before Sesshomaru brought back his sword and hit him in the leg.
Shijo jumped back and landed four feet from Naraku with his back turned to him.
His green eyes still emotionless, as the blood still came from his leg and the poison from Sesshomaru skin made his hand lightly glow green.
He brought his glowing hand to his face and a smile suddenly graced his lips before going away with in an instant. So fast that normal people could not see it but only the demons could.
The smile on Naraku's face faded a little when he saw the figure behind him smile.
"What are you waiting for, go destroy him!" Naraku screamed forget about Inuyasha.
Inuyasha smirked and took this opportunity and destroyed the spider body that Naraku had.
Sesshomaru took the figures sudden interest in his hand and helped his little brother.
Slicing away at Naraku along with Inuyasha as Naraku was being destroyed.
Inuyasha and Sesshomaru breathed heavily as Naraku body was in pieces, his head off to the side, split in half by one of the two swords.
"I think we got him." Sesshomaru said as he stood up straight and looked at the mangled pieces of Naraku's body that was left.
Inuyasha had not backed down and his eyes were still red, something to him still did not sit right. He knew Naraku was not dead but while he had time until Naraku would come the other with Kagomes blood on his hands would die.
Inuyasha snarled and went after the strange man who had not moved and still looked at his hand that had started glowing even brighter green than before, the poison seemingly becoming part of his hand than destroying it.
Inuyasha just kept using his claws and blades of blood to attack him while Sesshomaru used his sword and occasionally his whip of light.
Miroku and Koga arrived at the burned village, most of the army was now dead, some ran away, but in all the loses were of their side. Miroku and Koga watched trying not to let their emotions show as they saw some of the soldiers morn over their loved ones now pasted.
"This is bad, most of our village is dead now, and should we make the soldiers leave them or go into the castle ourselves?" Miroku said as he was in his praying position.
Koga looked around at some of his companions and others of the inu clan look around the village, sorrow only on their face.
"Come on lets go, these weaklings would only slow us down." Koga said, trying not to show his soft side at wanting to let them morn.
Miroku came up and nodded before they started running to the inu castle.
Naraku had turned into his human form with Shijo behind him. Shijo remained emotionless, except for a look in his eyes when he looked at Naraku.
Sesshomaru and Inuyasha were on the other side, Inuyasha trying to lash out on Naraku but a barrier between the two while Sesshomaru stood with his sword trying to figure out a way in with his mind.
"Shijo, attack them." Naraku said looking at Inuyasha and Sesshomaru who prepared for an attack.
Shijo did not move but kept looking at Naraku.
"Now!" Naraku said and looked behind him to see Shijo's claws glowing and a scowl on his face.
Miroku and Koga came in at this site and were shocked to see the sight before them.
"What is going on?" Koga screamed and had everyone's attention on him as the lightning flashed.
Shijo took this sudden opportunity to stab Naraku threw his heart and turned his hand grabbing something deep within Naraku.
Everyone stood in shock seeing Naraku pale and his life start to fade away.
"How could you betray me, my own flesh and blood?" Were Naraku's last words as Shijo took his poison claws out of Naraku's heart and held something in his hand.
The man looked down at Naraku's lifeless body and then to the object still hidden from view in his hand.
"You just killed Naraku, why?" Sesshomaru asked, anger of not being able to destroy the one that hurt Rin himself.
"I finally have what I desired!" Shijo said as held the object tighter and than opened his hand to revile it empty.
All of the gang became on guard as they wait for what ever he was doing to come at them.
"Where am I?" They heard from behind them along with some groans.
They looked back to see Kagome opening her blue/grey eyes her wounds fully healed. The other girls fully healed but not awake.
Inuyasha's eyes instantly turned gold and he rushed over to her.
Everyone except those two turned to see Shijo with a smile looking at his hand.
"Take care of my woman, I must finish what my father has started." Shijo said and then disappeared in a black cloud.
"What the hell happened?" Koga asked with an open mouth.
"I have no clue." Miroku said sitting down next to Sango.
"Naraku's son just killed him and brought the girls back to life." Sesshomaru said looking for any signs of life from Naraku but not finding any.
"That makes no sense, why would his son kill his father and bring back his enemies?" Inuyasha asked holding the semi-awake Kagome in his arms.
"It seems no one is his allied." Miroku said picking up Sango.
"Come on, we should get everyone back in order, something tells me he will not remain silent for long." Sesshomaru said picking up Rin and walking to the medical room.
