Betrayed
Chapter 18 - Fate
Sango looked into Miroku's eyes, she was scared and yet so happy. She was finally marrying the man of her dreams. Ok so he wasnt perfect but still.
"And do you Sango Kai Tenshi take Miroku to be your husband..." That was all Sango had to hear.
"Yes!" Sango said happily and everyone in the audience, cold demon to small children laughed.
Sango blushed, who would have guessed she would have been more excited about getting marryed then Miroku.
"You may now kiss the bride." The ministor said closing the book and smiling as Miroku went down for the kiss.
"Hopewe're not late." Shijo siad appearing from the ils Sango come from.
"Shijo." Inuyasha said growling putting Kagome behind him as all of the guest frozen in their seat's.
"I do so hate prying eye's. Esspecaly when they are not in my favor." Shijo said and snapped his finger's all of the guest falling over eye's closing.
"What happened to them," Kagome said kneeling down beside of the little demon girl's.
"Asleep for a while, I just wanted them out of the way. Dont worry Kagome." Shijo said with a smirk as Inuyasha growled at Shijo's word's to Kagome.
"You know what this was going to happen, not for us would we ever get a normal wedding." Sango said an sighed taking off her vale and ripping the dress so that her legs were free. She grabbed Hiritsukosu that was hidden behind the pastor's sleeping form.
Miroku let out a frustrated yell befor grabbing the hidden staff.
"We should have killed you the first time!" Inuyasha siad running straight up towards him Sango and Miroku close behind.
"Now, now, wouldnt want to hurt Rin." Shijo said and snapped his finger's Rin appearing in front of him chains around her hands behind her back and on her leg's, she herself knocked out and rested on Shijo's form.
Inuyasha stopped three-fourths the way down the ils, growling loudly and his claws begging for blood.
"Rin, how did you.." Kagome asked looking at Rin's form running up meeting with the other's.
"You didnt think I wasnt watching them when they went to that hosiptal." Shijo siad with a smirk.
Flashback...sort of.
Sesshomaru sighed as he watched the now healed form of Rin sleep on the bed, she hadnt woken up and for the first time in his life. Sesshomaru felt...usless.
He had let his mate down, his purpose in life was to make her happy, to make sure she was safe and comfortable, he had let her down.
Sesshomaru got up and went to get something to drink downstairs of the hospital.
"How sweet, but Rinibell shouldnt miss the wedding." Shijo said knowing that it would somehow reach Sesshomaru's ears.
Shijo looked down and Rin's eyes opened instantly to see Shijo but in a white coat with a brown cup in his hand.
"Where..where am I, Sesshomaru, where is.." Rin siad sitting up looking around for her mate.
"He left to get something, here drink this, it will make you feel better." Shijo said in a masked voice.
Rin took the cup and drank from it before throwing it on the floor spilling it and putting her hands to her head.
"It no use to fight Rin, let it control you." Shijo siad taking off his white coat and smiling as she let her hands fall to her sides and she got up standing next to Shijo.
"Lets go Rin." Shijo said and nocked out the wall grabing Rin and disaperaing into the early morning light.
Sesshomaru ran into the room, to see an empty bed, an open window, a brown glass half spilled on the floor with the tan liquid and the scent of his mate old and stale.
His eye's flashed red with demon rage. Shijo had taken his mate, he would pay with his life. There was nothing that could stop him from reclaiming his mate. Sesshomaru grabbed his sword and ran out at a speed that no one knew existed.
Kagome and Sango looked at each other and nodded, a plan seemed be formulated.
Kagome grabbed a sword from one of the demon's belt's, eye's slightly glowing blue, sheran behind him as the boys kept their attention.
Sango brought Hiritsukosu up reading to get Shijo when he wasnt looking.
Kagome brought the sword down silently trying to get Shijo but Rin was in front of her before she could get to his head, unchained and eye's a dark brown no sign of life.
"Rin get out of the way!" Kagome said trying again to hit Shijo but Rin moved with her.
Shijo turned around laughing grabbing the sword out of Kagome's hand's, giving Sango the chance she had wanted as she threw Hiritsukosu at him.
Kagome went to the floor when she saw Sango's wepon coming flighing at him taking Rin with her.
Shijo caught it and held it in both of his hand's breaking it in two.
"Little girl's shouldnt play with such dangerous wepon's." Shijo siad getting the reaction he wanted as Sango broke past Inuyasha and Miroku trying to punch Shijo but only getting her hand grabbed and being thrown against Kagome both of them slamming into the wall Sango taking the brunt.
Kagome looked up to see Shijo looking down at them, his figure seeming a little clouded.
"This barrier should keep you two lady's safe now stay here." Shijo said as Rin now back on her feat stood in front of him, between Miroku and Inuyasha.
"Dont try to help them the only thing you will get is electricuted and you woulnt want your mate's to get hurt." Shijo said smiling putting a hand on Rin's shoulder.
Kagome and Sango's body's laid next to each other, unable to move from a strange force in the barrier.
"That goes for you two Sesshomaru." Shijo said not even turning around to face the red eyed demon standing behind him.
Shijo picked Rin up and spinned himself around so that Rin was facing Sesshomaru and he landed on one of the balcony's overlooking the three.
"That's it." Inuyasha said bringing out his sword, it glowing blood red. He couldnt try to destroy the barrier, it was so small that he could risk killing his mate and unborn pup.
"No, you two stay back, this is my mate he has and I will be the one to kill him!" Sesshomaru said in a gruff tone.
"Sesshomaru we know you are angry, but you are doing exactly what you always tell us not to, Sesshmaru!" Inuyasha said but it was no use he had already ran up trying to slice Shijo in two but only ended up stopping because Rin got in front.
Sesshomaru growled again when Shijo protected himself with Rin, he then switched it around and sent a blast down onto Sesshomaru slamming him breaking a wall.
Sesshomaru sat there in the rubble partly covering his face, a single tear falling from his face.
"Sesshomaru..." Inuyasha said his mouth wide open.
"your, crying..." Inuyasha said and though 'Damn I wish I had that camera thing Kagome had. It be a kodack moment for all of us.'
Inuyasha looked back up to the figure of Shijo getting in fighting stance.
Why had fate betrayed them so...
