Ruthie is 22 and engaged to Martin.
"Goodbye!" With that Ruthie walked out of her apartment that she shared with Martin.
He just watched her leave. He knew he should go after her but he didn't.
Ruthie was walking down the street when she ran into someone unexpected.
"Hi," Ruthie Mac said.
"Oh, hi Mac what have you been up to all these years?" Ruthie said.
"Not much, you look look great," Mac said.
"Thanks do you want to get a drink?" Ruthie said.
"Sure there's a place just around the corner," Mac replied.
At the bar...
Ruthie and Mac are drunk.
"Do you want to come back to my place?" Mac asked.
"Why not," Ruthie said.
At his place Mac starts to come on to Ruthie.
They end up having sex.
In the morning Ruthie woke up and looked around. When she saw Mac not Martin beside her she screamed and ran out without saying goodbye.
She walked around for a bit trying to make sense of what happened.
She ended up walking to her apartment building.
She walked into her apartment and appoligized to Martin.
They made up.
2 month later...
Ruthie wasn't feeling very well so she went to they doctor.
She thought it was just the flu, but she was very wrong.
The doctor said, " Ruthie you're pregnant"
"What?" Ruthie said shocked.
"I have to go". She quickly paid and left the doctors.
She was walking down the hall when a nurse came up to her and said, "here some phamplets and you're prenatil vitiams".
"Thanks", Ruthie said taking them.
She walked around for awhile. She finally got up the nerve to tell Martin about the baby.
Martin was thrilled. He started to make a list of all the things they would need.
Ruthie just left him to do that.
She realized that 2 months ago was when she met Mac on the street and she wondered if the baby was Mac's.
"No, it couldn't be," she said a little too loudly. Some people stared at her. She just kept walking.
4 months had passed since that day she was walking on the street.
Ruthie and Martin were walking down the street holding hands, when they ran into Mac.
"Hi Mac", said Martin.
"Haven't seen you in a while" Mac said.
They continued talking and Martin told them that they have been engaged for a year and that they were expecting a baby girl in 3 months.
"I'll leave you two to catch up," Ruthie said.
Ruthie went back to their apartment and threw up.
"What if Mac tells Martin about that night we had together"? Ruthie thought.
Martin came home a little while later, Mac with him.
"Hi, honey Mac came over for dinner I hope you don't mind," Martin said.
"Of course I don't mind honey," Ruthie said to Martin before giving him a kiss.
In the middle of dinner Ruthie got up and went to the bathroom.
When Ruthie came back it was slient.
"You slept with Mac!" Martin yelled.
Ruthie froze. Her secret was out.
Martin ran out of the apartment.
He ran on to the road saying why, god, why, and a truck came out of no where and hit him. He died instantly.
Ruthie was devastated.
3 months later Ruthie gave birth to a healthy baby girl, named Jennifer Martin Camden. It turns out that the baby was Martin's after all.
Mac and Ruthie lived happily ever after with their 5 kids 2 boys, Jon and Micheal, and 3 girls, Julie, Donna and Jennifer.
