Sometimes when I'm alone
I think about what we used to be
And what we are now
I have to wonder
Was it meant to be?
We used to be so in love
So in tune with each other
But now it's different
We've grown apart
Was it meant to be?
Our love was so strong
We thought it would last forever
Nothing could touch us
But something did

We're so different from then
