The Oathkeeper

'I'll come back for you, I promise.'

'I know you will.'

ch:1

A blitzball rolled slowly into the cave and stopped right before Kairi. Footsteps approached quickly, making Kairi look up.

"Sora! You came back." Kairi blinked her tears back and ran to him. She enclosed his arms around his torso, waiting for him to embrace her back.

"Sora?, she questioned, "Do I look that much different?"

"Sorry, you just surprised me, Naminé. You never told us you were gonna change your look."

"Naminé?" She raised her eyebrow.

"Haha, don't play dumb." He laughed, flicking her forehead.

"I'm not Naminé." Kairi said firmly.

"Right? Well, you look nice, even before." Sora placed his hand on her shoulder and shook it gently, "You didn't have to change, Naminé.".

"I'm NOT Naminé!" She yelled, brushing his hand off.

Sora stood there in awe. Suddenly, they both heard footsteps approaching.

"Sora? What are you doing here? Are you looking at the cave drawings again?" The blonde asked sweetly.

Sora jerked forward, "Naminé, but you and your hair. It was different." He looked behind him, but no one was there.

"You must be hungry if you're this delusional. C'mon Sora, we should eat. That'll help you." Naminé took his hand and pulled him towards the cave entrance, leaving the blitzball.

"Sora. What's she doing here? Sora!" Kairi yelled after him, but Sora neither looked back or even acknowledged her voice.

Kairi stood there taking in everything that happened. She looked around the cave and something caught her eye. It was the drawing she and Sora had made when they were younger. But instead, it wasn't her anymore, it was Naminé. Kairi knelt down and ran her fingers across the picture. She layed her head against the wall and tears slid down her face.

The cave had a small puddle forming. Kairi looked towards it and crawled. When she reached it, she took a handful of water and proceeded washing Naminé off the wall. She took a white rock and drew herself instead. She placed the rock back down and dusted the white marks off her hands. Then she just sat there, leaning against the wall, waiting for something to happen.

"Sorry guys. I'll get the ball." Sora voice echoed through the cave.

He bent down to retrieve the ball, but looked at the drawings instead.

"Who's that?" He asked as he approached Kairi.

He knelt down in front of Kairi and stretched his hand out. Kairi smiled, "Sora!". But his hand went right past her, his fingers touched the drawing.

"She's that girl who lived here before."

Kairi shook her head, "No! I always lived here. I still do!"

"Sora!" Someone called from outside the cave.

"Coming!" He yelled as he snatched the ball off the ground and ran outside.

This time, Kairi wasn't gonna wait. She stuck her hand in her pocket and pulled out a charm. She gripped it tightly, holding it to her chest. Then she ran out of the cave. She spotted Sora and ran faster towards him. But instead she tripped on a small rock, forcing the charm to fly out of her hands.

"The oathkeeper!" Sora yelled watching it go past him, until a little redhead fell into his arms.

I know I really changed the story. I can't imagine anything that happened in my other version. Sora's too nice to get mad at some random stranger, let alone Kairi. And Namine is a little OOC. I'm sorry I don't have another chapter up yet. But I promise you, I'll get it before the end of this week. I just need ideas.I have some things in my head, but it's not enough unless you want a really short chapter. So press that little purple button and tell me whatcha thinking!

Also, if you're into KH fan videos, you should check out xbiancaa at youtube. Just wanted to tell you, I don't know her, but they're really good.
