A marker dropped to the floor.

Several gray tubes of colored ink danced along the table. A hand pushed several away, reaching for another color; fluttering fingers dropped a different marker back to the table.

He uncapped the offending marker with his teeth, holding the cap in between and firmly pulled the marker out of its cap. His quivering fingers dropped the cap back on the table's hard surface. Bakura's arm stretched out in front of him like a blank canvas, waiting for that first coat of paint to splash upon it. The tip of the marker lightly touched his arm, before he ran it along his soft skin, leaving a heavy trail of pigment behind.

Violet eyes watched the light-haired boy experiment with the colored ink pens.

"What are you going to do? Malik smirked lazily, staring over at the boy, sitting in a backward chair. His arms folded on top one another, his chin balancing on top while watching.

Bakura stopped midway of drawing a straight black line and glanced at Malik, tilting his head. "Drawing," he replied, turning back to his arm.

"On your arm?" He asked, curiously. Malik drummed his fingers, idly.

Bakura nodded, turned away from the teen. Malik gave him a funny look, shifting his foot awkwardly.

"Why not use paper?"

"I don't feel like using it." Bakura dragged a blue marker against the already drawn black line on his arm.

"Okay."

Bakura gave a silent nod. "I'm kind of bored." He chuckled nervously, slapping down the now capped blue marker on the table.

"Understandable." Malik sighed, lazily flicking some of his hair from his face. Bakura grinned nervously, picking up a red marker.

"Yeah." He chuckled, glancing down at the words and scribbles on his arm.

'Malik + Bakura,' it read, scribbled messily in blue ink.

end.
