Fandom Royal Rumble V
Summary: After a few years, the Fandom Royal Rumble is back for the fifth time. Eighty competitors, forty veterans and forty rookies, fight in the famed rumble match for the FRR Championship and a huge cash prize.

Chapter 1: Pre-Show Part 1
It has been almost three years, three years since the last Fandom Royal Rumble took place. A lot has changed in the past three years, but one thing has stayed the same and that's the Fandom Royal Rumble. For the first time in three years, The Fandom Royal Rumble is back for a fifth time! This time around, eighty competitors, forty veterans and forty rookies, step into the ring for the FRR Championship and a huge cash prize in what could be the biggest Fandom Royal Rumble to date.
Before the event could begin, the pre-show was about to get underway.
Over in a spot in the stadium that was hosting the rumble, a group of people were about to host a special pre-show.
"From Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, home of the Cincinnati Bengals and Jon Moxley, it is the return of the Fandom Royal Rumble for the fifth time. Hi I'm Kayla Braxton and welcome to the pre-show for Fandom Royal Rumble V," Kayla Braxton said.
"With me tonight are three people who have experience in the famed Royal Rumble match. First he is the winner of the 1995 and 1996 Royal Rumble, The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels," Kayla said as the camera gets a shot of the WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels, as he waves to the camera.
"Next he is the winner of the 2010 Royal Rumble and the 2021 Men's Royal Rumble, Edge," Kayla said as the camera gets a shot of the WWE Hall of Famer, Edge, fresh out of getting kicked out of Judgement Day.
"And finally, he is known as quite possibly the greatest rumble performer in WWE history, Kane," Kayla said as the camera gets a shot of the current mayor of Knox County, Kane (in his Big Red Machine gimmick and mask).
"I can't believe it, the Fandom Royal Rumble is back after almost three years," Edge said.
"From what I heard, Extreme Brony wanted the FRR V to be in New Orleans, but then he heard about the no blood rule and moved it here," Kane said.
"Yeah I bled for years and now they have this rule in place, seriously what is wrong with New Orleans, this place is home to Bourbon Street for crying out loud," Shawn said.
"We got a lot to cover including footage of competitors that are going to be in the rumble as well as some special guests coming here," Kayla said.
"We also got a huge message from E.B. that is about to be seen right now," Kayla said as she, Shawn, Edge, and Kane look at the screen behind them.
Then on the screen it said, "You heard of opening the forbidden door, well I'm blowing it open. For the first time in FRR history, I'm opening the door to pro wrestlers. But they are rules, the wrestlers must have never competed in the WWE Royal Rumble match, so if you competed in that Royal Rumble match, you are out of luck. There is one (maybe two) spot to be filled, so good luck in getting that spot."
"Oh my god, talk about opening the forbidden door," Kayla said in shock and excitement.
"Yeah that door just blew open and for the first time we got a pro wrestler in this rumble," Edge said.
"Knowing this rule, anyone from the indies, AEW, or even WWE could be in it tonight," Shawn said.
"I don't know if the people in this rumble would be scared or excited, considering who might be in this match," Kane said.
"Well anything can happen here tonight as we have eighty competitors, forty competitors from past rumbles and forty newcomers, in this match for the FRR Championship and a prize of two million dollars," Kayla said as Shawn, Edge, and Kane were excited to hear the prize.
"Two million dollars, the stakes in this match has been raised through the roof," Edge said.
"You could possibly retire with that money," Kane said.
"Or quickly lose it," Shawn said.
"Anyway before we bring out our special guests, we got some footage of some of the people entering tonight's rumble before the show getting ready or hanging out with some of the biggest stars in the wrestling business," Kayla said.
"If we can roll the footage?" Kayla asked the camera crew and then they cut to the footage.
In a part of the stadium, the first ever FRR winner Dawn was walking to her locker room with bag in tow. Then, she ends up running into AEW backstage interviewer, Alex Marvez.
"Excuse me Dawn, tonight is your return to the Fandom Royal Rumble, how do you feel?" Alex asked Dawn.
"I'm excited, this event means a lot to me, I mean I won the first FRR and I'm going to win this one," Dawn said.
"So you have been training with The Elite to get ready for this event?" Alex asked Dawn.
"Actually no, I went back to The Elite and their auras changed, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega became real douchebags, I dealt with a douche before and I'm not going to deal with them, especially that Don Callis," Dawn said.
"So you switched trainers?" Alex asked Dawn.
"I did and all I can say is, the house always wins," Dawn said and then she heads to the locker room.
Out in the parking lot, the angry malcontent known as Dan was walking around, looking angry as ever.
"Fandom Royal Rumble V, I'm back and I'm going to win," Dan said.
"I had some of the worst luck in this match, but tonight I'm going to freakin' win it and I'm not letting people like Dawn, or Lapis, or any of those annoying assholes get in my way," Dan said in an angry tone.
"If any of you try to mess with me, I'm going to make you regret doing it," Dan said as he had an intense look in his eyes.
Over in another part of the stadium, AEW star CM Punk was talking away to someone.
"So you excited?" CM Punk asked that someone who turned out to be FRR II winner, Lapis Lazuli.
"Oh hell yeah I'm excited," Lapis said.
"Are you going to win another rumble?" CM Punk asked Lapis.
"I will try," Lapis said.
"And if MJF is the surprise wrestling entrant?" CM Punk asked Lapis.
"I'll kick his ass and break out his teeth," Lapis said.
"That's the spirit," CM Punk said to Lapis in an excited tone.
Then they see the Tekken luchador, King, walking past them.
"I think that is your competition," CM Punk said to Dawn.
"The guy with the jaguar head?" Lapis asked CM Punk.
"Yes, be careful," CM Punk said.
"I will Punk, I will," Lapis said to CM Punk.
Over in a different part of the stadium, the mohawked Far Cry villain, Vaas Montenegro, was sitting on a production box.
"You know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, well I know my number and I know this rumble is different from the last rumble I was in," Vaas said.
"I'm not relying on my last performance to get to the end, this time around I'm using my smarts to win and when I toss out the seventy-nine other competitors, I will be two million dollars richer," Vaas said.
"Not if I have something to say about it," a male voice said.
Vaas then looks to his right as that voice belonged to 1980s PSA icon, Snake.
"Well well, looks what slithered in," Vaas said.
"Oh can it Montenegro, this might be your second rumble, but this is my third, I have way more experience than you," Snake said to Vaas and then Vaas stands off the box.
"This might be my second time, but I eliminated seven people, way more than you and I lasted longer than you, not to mention I wasn't the first one eliminated the last time," Vaas said to Snake as this was pissing off the reptilian drug dealer.
"You better shut your mouth or I'll do it for ya," Snake said to Vaas in a threatening tone.
"Go back to 1986 where you belong," Vaas said to Snake.
"Oh shut up," this male voice said as Vaas and Snake look over to see YouTube icon, The Angry Video Game Nerd.
"I'm not going to let some f***ing mohawk idiot and some f***king viper looking asshole win this sh*t," AVGN said.
"James Rolfe, The Angry Video Game Nerd, pissed off that the Madden game series is now pure sh*t?" Vaas asked AVGN.
"Yes, but you two think you can win this rumble, well you two are so f***ing wrong," AVGN said to Vaas and Snake.
"I eliminated sixteen men combined in rumble matches, you two can't match that," AVGN said to Vaas and Snake.
"Oh will see," Snake said.
"Yeah so you can take your NES and shove it up your ass," Vaas said to AVGN.
"Well you two can go and f**k yourselves," AVGN said to Vaas and Snake and then he walks away from them.
"He is so angry," Snake said.
"Well that happens when you play some of the worst video games known to man," Vaas said.
Meanwhile in another part of the stadium, the current Survivor record holder, Hinata Hyuga was preparing for the rumble match as she was shadow boxing a bit.
"I can do it, if I can make it to the final four last time at number two, I can win it no matter what number," Hinata said.
Hinata then turns around and was frightened a bit as she sees what could be FRR's greatest competitor, Needles Kane, standing in front of her.
"Oh hey there Mr. Kane, it's an honor to see you again, please don't hurt me," Hinata said to Needles.
All Needles did was do a Kane style head tilt as Hinata was terrified to be next to him.
"What are you doing here?" this gruff female voice asked Needles.
Needles looks over to see Steven Universe's famed big buff and now post-corrupted Cheeto puff, Jasper.
"Oh crap, Jasper," Hinata said in a quiet tone.
"You think you're the best, well you are looking at the gem that is going to crush that clown face of yours," Jasper said to Needles.
"You didn't last five minutes last rumble, and in this rumble, you won't last five seconds," Jasper said to Needles.
Jasper then looks over to Hinata as she stands over her.
"As for you, you are so weak, someone like you doesn't deserve to be here and I'll make sure you don't leave on those pathetic feet of yours," Jasper said to Hinata in a threatening tone.
"Jasper," this male voice said to Jasper in an angry tone.
Jasper to see one of the competitors in this rumble, it was Steven Universe.
"Jasper stop being mean to them, you were given a second chance to compete after that rumble you were in, and you don't want to mess it up," Steven said to Jasper as Jasper knew she needed to play nice for now.
"Fine my diamond," Jasper said to Steven and then she leaves the area.
"Sorry about that, Jasper is still a bit on edge," Steven said to Needles and Hinata and then he leaves the area as well.
"Man that gem needs to take a pill," Hinata said as Needles agree with her.
Over in a different part of the stadium, the unstable war vet, Flippy, was stretching a bit as Lumpy was sitting behind him.
"So Flippy, excited for tonight?" Lumpy asked Flippy.
"Oh I am, I think this will be the one I win," Flippy said.
"Of course you would say that, you always draw one of the last five numbers in the rumble," Lumpy said to Flippy.
"Hey it's just luck," Flippy said.
"Well I'm going to break your luck when I win the match," Lumpy said to Flippy.
"We'll see about it," Flippy said to Lumpy.
"So what number did you get?" Lumpy asked Flippy as Flippy stops stretching.
Flippy then pulls out the capsule from his beret as it was still sealed.
"I never opened it yet," Flippy said.
"Open it, let me see what you got," Lumpy said to Flippy.
Flippy then opens the capsule and pulls out a piece of paper. He then unfolds the paper and sees his number, which got Lumpy angry.
"Oh damn it," Lumpy said angrily as he steps off the box and walks away.
"Okay, I can work with this," Flippy said as he looks at his number.
Meanwhile in the main office, WWE official Adam Pearce was talking on the phone with someone.
"I promise you E.B., this will be better than the men's and women's Royal Rumble from this year, I guarantee it," Adam said to the creator of the Fandom Royal Rumble, Extreme Brony, over the phone.
Then, Adam could hear a door open and close as someone was in the office.
"I have to go," Adam said and then he hangs up the phone.
Adam looks over to see Law & Order organized crime detective, Elliot Stabler, in the office.
"Detective Stabler, welcome to the Fandom Royal Rumble," Adam said to Elliot.
"Thanks for having me Pearce," Elliot said to Adam.
"Anyway we at WWE are sorry for the loss of your wife and we have this to give to you," Adam said to Elliot and then he hands him a card.
"We are sorry that your wife got blown up by what appeared to be the son of a mafia boss and a drug trafficker, we couldn't afford flowers so we got you this card instead," Elliot said what was on the card.
"Who bought this?" Elliot asked Adam.
"Triple H and Shawn Michaels," Adam said as Elliot crumbles up the card and throws it at Adam.
"Well it sucks and I'm not in the mood for humor," Elliot said.
"Okay there is one ball left in the tumbler, go and pick it up," Adam said to Elliot as Elliot walks over to the rumble tumbler and picks up the last capsule.
"Now you made sure Richard Wheatley doesn't appear?" Elliot asked Adam.
"Don't worry, after last rumble, we amped up security so no one decides to interfere in the match," Adam said.
"Perfect," Elliot said and then he leaves the office.
"Oh I hope this goes smoothly, I don't want a repeat of the last rumble," Adam said.
Over in a different part of the stadium, the camera was pointed to the door of a dressing room, belonging to newcomer competitor, Momo Hinamori.
Then, the captain of Squad 10, Tōshirō Hitsugaya (who wasn't competing in the rumble) comes up to the door and knocks on it.
"You almost ready lieutenant Hinamori?" Tōshirō asked Momo.
"Almost Tōshirō," Momo said to Tōshirō from the inside the room.
"It's Captain Hitsugaya," Tōshirō said.
"Now who is this person from the world of the living that you have been training with the last few weeks?" Tōshirō asked Momo.
"I'm not going to say, it is a surprise," Momo said.
"Are you sure you don't want me in the rumble?" Tōshirō asked Momo.
"It's fine, I want to prove everyone in the Soul Society that I have what it takes to win," Momo said.
"Alright but be careful, I don't trust that big orange thing in the rumble," Tōshirō said to Momo.
"I will Tōshirō, I will," Momo said to Tōshirō and then Tōshirō leaves the area.
Over in a different part of the stadium, FRR III winner, Caulifla was putting on wrist bands as she was preparing for the match.
"Oh yes Fandom Royal Rumble, it's good to be back," Caulifla said.
Caulifla then looks to see one of the newcomers in this match approach her, as it was Tournament of Power winner, Android 17.
"Well well, long time no see 17," Caulifla said to Android 17.
"Yeah, last time we saw each other was in the Tournament of Power," Android 17 said to Caulifla.
"Yeah, you might have won the tournament, but I won the Fandom Royal Rumble," Caulifla said to Android 17 as 17 laughs a little.
"That's true, but today is going to be different," Android 17 said.
"You planning on winning?" Caulifla asked Android 17.
"Yes I am, and it doesn't matter what number I got, I'll fight if I'm number one or even number eighty," Android 17 said.
"Ooh this is going to be fun," Caulifla said.
"I agree it is going to be fun, see you out there, if you are out there," Android 17 said to Caulifla and then he starts to walk away.
"Maybe, just as long as you aren't eliminated first," Caulifla said to Android 17 as she continues to prepare for the rumble.
Finally over in a different part of the stadium, the defending FRR champion, Monkey D. Luffy, was biting away on the FRR title belt.
"Come on, why can't I bite into it," Luffy said as he was still biting down on the belt.
"Luffy stop, it's not food," Tony Tony Chopper said to Luffy as he yanks the belt out of Luffy's hands.
"Come on Chopper, I'm hungry," Luffy said to Chopper.
"It's not food, it's a belt that I'm planning on winning," Chopper said as he sets the belt down on a box.
"Aww you are so cute," this woman said to Chopper as it turned out to be Alexa Bliss.
Alexa then picks up Chopper and gives him a hug.
"Hey I'm not cute you big old dummy, I'm a serious fighter that is going to win the rumble," Chopper said to Alexa as he did his usual happy dance.
"Well before the rumble begins, I can hang out with you and you could be my temporary Lily," Alexa said to Chopper as Chopper got a little frightened as it was like being cuddled by Porche from the Davy Back Fight.
"Come on Choppy," Alexa said to Chopper as she carries him to the dressing room.
"Luffy help me," Chopper pleaded with Luffy.
"It's okay Chopper, she won't hurt you," Luffy said to Chopper.
Then, Class 1-A students, Izuku "Deku" Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki, walk up to Luffy.
"Hey Luffy," Deku said to Luffy.
"Oh hey green hair kicking guy," Luffy said to Deku.
"So are you in the rumble?" Luffy asked Deku.
"I am," Deku said.
"And so am I," Shoto said.
"Who is this?" Luffy asked.
"I'm Shoto Todoroki, but you may call me Icy Hot," Shoto said to Luffy.
"Icy Hot?" Luffy asked.
"Yeah he can shoot out fire and ice," Deku said.
"Oh my god you could shoot out fire, just like Ace and Sabo," Luffy said in an excited tone as Deku and Shoto look confused.
"He won the last rumble?" Shoto asked Deku.
"Yes," Deku said.
"But this year is different, I studied more and I'm fully prepared for anything to happen," Deku said.
Shoto then looks over to Luffy as he had an intense look in his eyes.
"You might be the defending champion, but tonight your reign is done and your looking at the guy who is going to do win it," Shoto said to Luffy.
"I'm not afraid, in fact I'm going to go in there and win back to back," Luffy said.
"Yeah see if you can try," Shoto said to Luffy and then he walks away.
"It's really impossible to do it, last time someone won it back to back was twenty-four years ago," Deku said to Luffy.
"Like I care, I'm not afraid of anyone and I'm going to win this again and keep my tasty belt," Luffy said with a smile on his face.
"Okay, well see you later," Deku said to Luffy and then he leaves the area as Luffy stays to prepare for the match.
Well it looks like things got interesting here. I can't believe I'm doing another Fandom Royal Rumble for a fifth time.
Why am I doing another Fandom Royal Rumble, well it is because this year's men's and women's Royal Rumble matches were a big let down for a lot of people (including me) and I wanted to do something that will hopefully be better than those two rumbles (but there were a few things I liked in both rumbles, Johnny Knoxville getting punched by A.J. Styles, Ivory making an appearance, Sasha Banks and Zelina Vega dressing up as Sailor Moon and Madara Uchiha, and Bad Bunny getting hit with a stunner and a F-5 from Kevin Owens and Brock Lesnar).
Anyway, let's take a look at who is confirmed to competing in the rumble.
