Splatter.
The Ox bolted through puddles and ran through trees, despite the crashing thunder and blinding lightning. Kisa had just started high school, and he'd been worrying lately. So when he'd gotten a call from her mother - who had seemed overwhelmed - he'd almost panicked.
Dashing through the pouring rain, the Ox didn't even bother with the front door, instead hoisting himself up through the window. isa sat on her floor, crying into her palms. In a second, Hatsuharu was in, holding the Tiger to his chest.
"Akito-sama...Hiro-kun..."
"I know...I know..."
And when the thunder boomed, they shivered together.
