"Footing loose Nnnoooooo!!!!"Grimlock cried as the floor beneath him began to give away and collapse. Meanwhile from a far away safe distance the newly christianed Dinobots comprised of Swoop,Slug,Snarl and Sludge could only watch as the Space Bridge Tower Shockwave built blow up in a spectacular show of light and fire.
With one final explosion the tower began to crumble and fall "Grimlock!!!"Swoop cried as he and the team watched a massive cloud of smoke filled the environment then disappeared.
Not wasting a single second Swoop transformed and flew off into the site "Swoop wait for us!"Slug yelled out but the young Dinobot didn't listen he was focusing on getting to Grimlock.
When he got to the place the tower once stood all there was left was metallic rubble and pieces of the tower as well a some deceased decepticons. "Grimlock!"Swoop called out while looking around "Please be alive."Swoop said to himself looking around frantically for his leader. It was then the rest of the dinobots arrived watching Swoop scramble around the wreckage Swoop without even looking spoke to them "Help me look he's around here somewhere I'm sure of it."
Slug went over to help swoop while Sludge gently had the injured Snarl sit down on some rubble Snarl let out a sharp groan as he sat down then Sludge went over to help the others.
"Boss are you around here?"Slug called out searching high and low in his sector of the wreckage Sludge was about 50 feet from Slug and Swoop. After about 10 minutes into searching the Dinobots heard faint groaning under the field of rubble. This made the Dinobots perk up "Grimlock?"Swoop chirped the Dinobots listened out for another sound which as luck would have it rang faint but clear through their audio sensors.
"Sludge over there!"Slug called outpointing past Sludge who looked to the left of him and saw some debris moving slightly this caused him to quickly run over to the spot and started lifting off the debris until he saw Grimlock badly damaged and in Stasis Lock.
"I Found Him!"Sludge called out causing The Rest of the Dinobots to run over to his location to see "Oh no Grimlock!"Swoop cried quickly kneeling down to his Leader Slug expected him and noted the dents and several gashes on his body that leaked Energon.
"He's messed up bad..."Slug said completely distraught at his leaders condition then Suddenly Grimlock groaned weakly as his once black empty eyes started to slowly glow red as he turned to look at his teammates who were all staring at him with suprise and happiness "What are you all staring at."Grimlock said weakly earning a couple of chuckles from the group.
"You boss,that was a crazy stunt you just did."Slug said referring to Grimlock Attacking the tower by himself no less Grimlock tried to get up but his aching body wouldn't cooperate Slug and Sludge also prevented him from standing out of fear from Grimlock hurting himself even worse. "Don't try to stand Grimlock you're hurt badly."Swoop said in concern making Grimlock groan in pain then he slowly looked all around him and saw the destruction of the Tower and suddenly one thought raced through his mind.
"Shockwave..."Grimlock said now remembering him The last image he had of shockwave was him flying off the tower after Grimlock batted him away with his tail,The Dinobots looked at Grimlock with concern "What about him?"Sludge asked "Where...where is he?"Grimlock asked trying not to move so much as his body still hurt "Haven't seen him,he was on the Tower?"Slug asked "Yes..he was talking to Megatron i confronted him, he restrained me i broke free and bit off his arm and knocked him off the tower."Grimlock said reliving the glorious moment of taking down Shockwave.
The rest of the Dinobots were greatly impressed and relieved that the lingering threat of Shockwave was over. "Heh Good riddance."Sludge said with visible distaste in his voice and the Dinobots nodded in agreement.
Grimlock groaned again and looked at his team "Dinobots let's get out of here." Having said that Slug and Sludge went on either side of Grimlock ready to help him up "Carefully 1..2..3."Slug counted and He and Slug very carefully lifted Grimlock to his feet but Grimlock still groaned in pain due to the damage to his body. "Swoop help snarl."Slug ordered and Swoop immediately ran over to Snarl's side to help him wrapping one of snarl's arm around his shoulders holding him steady as they began to follow the rest of the team away to find medical attention and hopefully more autobots.
The Dinobots slowly walked for what felt like hours through the terribly war-torn streets of Kaon the Decepticon controlled capital, Even though Slug and Sludge were carrying Grimlock and Swoop carried Snarl they were still ever vigilant as they were aware they were in enemy territory but they began to notice there weren't any enemies around .
"I don't like this,it's too quiet out here."Swoop said looking around with his blaster clutched tightly in his hand ready to fire, "Yeah where are all the Decepticons,This place used to be crawling with them?"Sludge asked curiously looking around "I don't know and i don't care,neither of us are ready for a fight right now."Slug said disinterested in the subject on where the Decepticons are.
Grimlock groaned in pain as walking was really starting to cause him agony Grimlock collapsed onto his knees energon leaking onto the ground as he groaned in pain "Grimlock!"Sludge exclaimed kneeling down next to his leader who groaned in pain. Slug looked at Grimlock completely worried "He's not going to make it like this,he needs to be patched up immediately."Slug said looking at Sludge.
Grimlock grunted and tried to stand up "No i can make it i can...ahh!"Grimlock cried in pain as he dropped to his knees again "Damn it Grimlock stop being stubborn for a second and listen,You're leaking too much energon ifwe don't get you patched up and stabilized soon you're gonna bleed out and die."Slug explained glaring at Grimlock desperately Swoop not wanting to lose any Dinobot member looked around for something that may help them until his optics landed on a building about 100 feet away from them even though it was a little far away Swoop could read the name of the building: Kaon Hospital.
"Guys up there a hospital."Swoop said pointing in front of him the other Dinobots looked and saw the hospital "Oh thank Primus."Slug said and he and Sludge helped grimlock stand on his feet "Come on Grimlock we're gonna get you fixed up."Slug said with determination and slowly and carefully they began to walk Grimlock towards the hospital with Swoop and Snarl following close behind.
The Dinobots entered the hospital which was a complete mess equipment littered the floor,there was a few cracks and holes in a few walls,To say that the hospital was horrible to look at would be an understatement.
"Ugh look at this place,i forgot Decepticons are not clean people."Slug said with annoyance and disgust in his voice after looking at the sight of the hospital "File a complaint later Slug right now we got to help Grimlock."Sludge said carefully leading Grimlock through the lobby and into the hallway after that they put Grimlock into the first room they saw. They put Grimlock on one table and Snarl on the other one that was sitting next to it.
Then Slug started turning on the various equipment necessary to help Grimlock and Snarl.
"Ok I'm no Medic, but I've seen plenty of them in action firstly like Snarl we need to stabilize Grimlock." Slug said looking around then be noticed a big blue cylinder object sitting on a table next to him it looked similar to the one swoop gave to Snarl to keep him stable and it appeared to have worked wonders.
Slug grabbed the cylinder and a slot opened up in Grimlock's chest and Slug plugged the cylinder into Grimlock's chest making him jump slightly Slug looked at the moniter and saw Grimlock's vitals were stabilizing. Slug chuckled a little after see Grimlock's vitals but he knew he wasn't out of the scrapyard yet as slug still had some work to do, "Next we to seal up the gashes and hammer out a few dents,easy, firstly I'm going to put you into a medically induced stasis lock,Snarl you two."Slug said looking over at Snarl then Slug grabbed another tool that looked familiar to him.
it was a syringe filled with a liquid that caused stasis lock, very carefully Slug injected Grimlock with the liquid which caused him immediately to go into stasis lock then he did the same thing to Snarl. Now that both Dinobots were in Stasis Lock Slug could begin work repairing them "Alright now comes the hard part sludge I'm going to need your help in repairing them."
Sludge nodded then Swoop spoke up "What can i do?" "You have the most Important job of all swoop: watching our backs patrol the Hospital perimeter make sure there really isn't any Decepticons still prowling around here." Swoop nodded and immediately pulled out his blasters and ran out the room.
After Swoop was gone Slug and Sludge looked at their two unconscious teammates "So who do we work on first?"Sludge asked Slug was thinking about that himself until he considered a few factors Snarl was a bit less worst looking than Grimlock so Slug decided to work on him first.
"We fix Snarl first."Slug said with determination.
