It's September 1979 & alls quiet in the English countryside where 3 people're sitting at a roaring fire to escape the torrential downpour outside when all of a sudden flashes appear in the said sky after which the unnamed male realizes what happens. Hence, he tells the unknown woman to run which she does but she doesn't get very far because she gets hit with a Binding spell & the baby in her arms gets taken out of them. A few minutes later 2 more flashes hit their respective targets & after that's done the other figures disappear with the baby without a trace. A few hours later the deceased couple gets discovered with no inkling that a baby ever existed; a month & 4 days later the Dark Lord gets vanquished by Harry 'the Chosen One/Boy-Who-Lived' Potter.
It's a bright & sunny summer day & Hermione Jean Granger's enjoying the holidays before school starts up again. After she finishes swimming, in her infinity pool, she's about to go to the library but her parents ask her to come into the house because a Professor's there to see her & by the end of the meeting Hermione's life as she knows it's going to change but she doesn't know if it'll be for better or worse. Meanwhile, at the Dursley's, Harry Potter's running away from his cousin Dudley's friends whereupon he ends up on the roof of the school's kitchen & so the Little Whinging Fire Department gets called to get him down from there & then the Fire Department sends them on their ways. When both boys come home Dudley tells his mother what happened & so Petunia locks Harry in his cupboard where he stays until Uncle Vernon comes home & when he does he beats the boy until he passes out from the pain. Meanwhile, at the same time, at the Burrow in Devon, England's very noisy because a few children're running around which causes the exasperated red-head, Molly Weasley, to yell at them to come to dinner whereupon the 1st one at the table's the youngest son, Ronald 'Ron' Bilius Weasley, & after dinner's done the whole Weasley clan goes to bed. Elsewhere at Malfoy Manor in Wiltshire, England, which consists of Deatheater Lucius Malfoy, his wife Narcissa & son Draco, a family portrait's being taken & after it's done Narcissa & Draco go to dinner but Lucius goes to the Department of Mysteries (DOM) at the Ministry of Magic. At the same time, at Azkaban Prison which's in the middle of the Northern Sea, unsettling things're happening because of bad vibes coming from Tom 'Lord Voldemort/the Dark Lord' Riddle's top Lieutenant Bellatrix LeStrange, who's being held there for life for torturing Frank & Alice Longbottom, wakes up to crashing waves from a nightmare &/or dream that she can't quite remember except for flashes of green & a newborn crying. A few minutes later she falls back asleep where she dreams of meeting a bushy-haired teen in a room full of whispering glowing orbs & when she hears her name being whispered she ends up sleeping through the night, peacefully, since she got here. Meanwhile, back at the Grangers, said Grangers're reluctant to send their daughter to Hogwarts but when they realize it might be for the best they relent & so McGonagall says she'll be back in a week to bring Hermione to Diagon Alley to get her Hogwarts school supplies; what Hermione doesn't realize's that, over the next 5 years, her life'll be packed with lots of adventure but, dear reader, we'll get to that later. In the meantime, the Professor bids them goodbye & returns to the school. Hermione's parents then leave her to her own devices once more. Also, over the next few days, the other future Hogwarts students go about their summers until they all converge on the Alley; the Grangers' with McGonagall, Harry's with Rubeus Hagrid & Ron & Draco's with their respective families.
When Hermione's shopping she gets a fleeting glance at Hagrid, the other kids & the 4 adults; a few hours later she returns to her home from her exciting day & decides to get some sleep. A few weeks later she goes to her new life; in her 1st Year Hermione meets Harry & Ron on the Hogwarts Express, 2nd Year she, along with Ron's mother & a few female students of Hogwarts, develop a liking for Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Gilderoy Lockhart as he'd written all the books required for the subject of Defense Against The Dark Arts, 3rd Year she's secretly given a Time-Turner by Professor McGonagall, 4th Year she's horrified by the cruelty that house-elves suffer & establishes S.P.E.W., the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, as an effort to gain basic rights for them & 5th Year she & Ron become Gryffindor prefects along with Ron, befriends Luna Lovegood, lambasts Lavender Brown for believing the Daily Prophet's allegations of Harry fabricating stories of Voldemort's return, Ron & Hermione spend much of their time bickering but they show continued loyalty to Harry & she conceives the idea of him secretly teaching defensive magic to a small band of students which becomes overly huge & known as Dumbledore's Army. When Professor Umbridge gets info on these activities she busts them & as a punishment all of the participates'll need to write 'I Must Not Tell Lies' until it, as she says, sinks in; this goes on for a few days until she decides to take more drastic measures i.e. using the Crucio spell but Hermione saves him by telling Umbridge about Dumbledore's secret weapon. They take her to it but it turns out to be a ruse & she gets carried away by the Centaurs after that Harry gets a vision of his Godfather Sirius being tortured by Voldemort & so he, she & some of Dumbledore's Army goes to save him but it turns out to be a trap which in turn changes her life forever because when their at the DOM she hears a prophecy about her but before she can retrieve it Dumbledore shows up with some of the Order of the Phoenix. While that's happening Snape hears the same prophesy by Professor Trelawney & after that, he goes to his other master to tell him what he heard: Fake Mud Shrouded in Light Shall Be Revealed Where It'll Be Said It'll Be Dark, Shall Save the Oldest Black & Its Dark Shall Be True; Fake Mud Shrouded in Light Shall Be Revealed. After that Voldemort calls back the other Deatheaters & once the prophecy's done being repeated everyone stays quiet but soon Bellatrix's husband Rudolphus' outburst where he asks who the Mudblood could be & how a Mudblood could save his wife. Snape says who the Mudblood could be & when that's revealed everyone bursts out laughing at the preposterousness of it all which then causes said oldest Black to get furious but Narcissa calms her down by reiterating the rest of the prophecy which means that Granger's actually a Pureblood, she'll be hidden by the Light but once they find out she isn't who she says she's they turn their backs on her because they think she'll join the dark side which'll probably cause her to do that exact thing. After that's all said & done the meeting gets adjourned, everyone goes their separate ways but Snape gets told to stay behind which he does & this' because his Master needs to tell him a prophecy that the Dark Lord himself heard many years previous which's also part of the previous one: Born Into Darkness, Related To The New Lord & Tricked Into The Light Which's To Be Revealed Soon & Shall Bring About A New Age Of Evil; it turns out that she might be his granddaughter that'd been taken, from his daughter Delphini, a week after Hermione'd been born. He says that he'd like her back ASAP & Snape must do it with no one the wiser. Snape then returns to his other master, Dumbledore, to tell him some of what'd been said but 1st Snape goes to his quarters to write out both prophesies & combine them into a single one with some minor alterations to its wording. Meanwhile, Hermione can't believe what she heard so she just goes to sleep but the next morning she realizes that the woman she'd been dreaming about's Bellatrix who she briefly glimpsed at the Battle of the DOM & she keeps it to herself for now. Bellatrix also dreams of Hermione & a few weeks later summer holidays roll around once more where Harry goes to the Burrow & she visits relatives in France where she ends up running into Blaise Zambini who decides to be civil to her for the said holiday; they become somewhat friends & he decides to invite her to the Zambini Ball where he gets her to use Polyjuice which turns her into a distant French relative called Zara Zambini where everything goes smoothly & after the Ball ends so does her time in France so she goes back home until 6th Year starts; a quarter way through it Snape asks Dumbledore to call an emergency Order meeting because Snape discovered a prophecy that concerns the Brightest Witch of Her Age: Born Into Darkness & Brought Into Light; Fake Mud's Related To The New Lord That's Bound To The Oldest Black Shall Be Revealed Soon & Shall Bring About A New Age.
Molly Weasley bursts out with laughter but when she sees his serious face she becomes furious & tells the Headmaster that she's no longer allowed at the Burrow. When Snape sees Dumbledore not stand up for the poor girl he becomes appalled so he takes matters into his own hands & he protected the newly-discovered Pureblood by secretly inviting her to stay with him as well as taking her on as his apprentice but on her 2nd day of this it goes wrong & time gets reverted to the summer she finds out she's a witch & she finds out who she's sooner than later during her initial time at Gringotts. She asks for her identity to be kept a secret & the Goblins agree to a price & she agrees to it. After the meeting, she goes to her newly-acquired vault but when she accidentally activates a Time-Turner she ends up speeding time up 2 years in advance; it also turns out to be Christmas vacation where she stays at the Leaky Cauldron. Meanwhile, Snape hears a prophecy from Trelawney so he decides to visit the Burrow but when he's about to tell everyone McGonagall tells him that Christmas' a time to relax & not deal with anything strenuous so he keeps it to himself but once the holidays' over & everyone goes back to school all hell breaks loose because of the massive Azkaban breakout which causes the school to go on lockdown which means no Hogsmeade weekends. After this nothing happens until the summer; Hermione finds out Sirius & Lupin's members of the Deatheaters, but secret ones that even Snape doesn't know about, so he asks him to introduce her to her grandfather to which he agrees. After she meets her real family she gets asked to stay at the Manor & she agrees. During this time she learns all about the Malfoys, Blacks & her grandfather. She becomes friends with Draco & becomes closer to Bellatrix.
When both teens go back to school the Sorting Hat decides to change some people's Houses more specifically her, Percy, Luna, Neville, Ginny, Fred & George; Hermione, Percy, Ginny, Fred & George go to Slytherin, Luna goes to Gryffindor & Neville goes to Hufflepuff. Later on, when other Hogwarts students look back on that evening they understand why; Hermione, Percy, Ginny, Fred & George's ambitious (in their own right), cunning &'re resourceful, Luna's courageous/brave (in her own right), got nerve & she's chivalrous & Neville's hard-working, patient, just & loyal. They then go to their new House tables. Later on, nothing else eventful happens for the rest of the year; for once. During the summer the new Slytherins get inducted into the Deatheaters where, once again, Snape doesn't know a thing because they'd all been given Polyjuice for that occasion. Sometime later a mission ends up going very wrong were Fred & George's killed by Aurors, Bellatrix & Percy get captured & later on killed by the Order whereas Hermione goes AWOL but a few weeks later she reappears which also coincides with the Battle of Hogwarts where she kills Harry but not before he takes out her grandfather; after that, she opens up a portal vortex breach where she escapes to a new world where she isn't ruled by magic or the perceived evilness of her family & she lives as happily ever after as much as she's capable of.
When Hermione gets to her new Earth her appearance changes to that of a 23-year-old blonde named Kara Zor-El a.k.a. Kara Danvers & she's got a sister named Alex & mother named Eliza; it's a normal day which includes her getting ready for it which includes a job interview with the Queen of All Media but on her way she gets hit with a ray of unknown energy which later gives her superpowers where she'll become known as the superhero called Supergirl. After she gets the job she shops for a new work wardrobe, later she goes to the park then that night she goes to dinner with her sister; the next morning, when she gets to work, she makes her 1st true friend in National City named Winslow 'Winn' Schott Jr. They bond over their shared love of science & video games, after work they decide to go've a night on the town but she'll need to survive her 1st day on the job, he goes to his desk & she goes to hers until she's summoned by her boss who tells her to get a Bullet-Proof coffee to which the other does as asked & while she's out she uses her considerable Kryptonian powers to stop to plane from crashing into Otto Binder Bridge. After that she gets to Noonan's & besides the coffee, she gets sticky buns & a salad with cheeseburger on top & when Cat sees it she becomes, silently, of course, impressed with the other's initiative; a few hours later Kara gets ready for her night meanwhile, on her old Earth, Ginny gives birth to fraternal twins Diesel Walker Weasley & Brewster Rodriguez Potter. This happens because she ended up sleeping with Harry & someone who she doesn't remember on the same day which causes Harry to be the father of Brewster, who'll later on in life become the Minister of Magic, & the other man's the father of Diesel who'll later on in life be Head Auror.
Kara & Winn go dancing then he runs into another friend of his so he goes over to the other & Kara stays dancing, she dances like there's no tomorrow, but a while later she feels someone staring at her whereupon she feels a solid form against hers but doesn't turn around right away but when she does she becomes surprised that its Cat who a few minutes later brings the other to her VIP room. A few hours later they go back to Cat's but the next morning, when she sees Kara in her bed, Cat freaks out which causes her to fly out of bed to go rushing into her private bathroom, it takes her a while to catch her breath as well as remember what'd transpired the night previous but she can only think of dancing & drinking but nothing else. A few minutes later Kara knocks on the door because she needs to use said bathroom to which the other obliges but when Cat sees Kara in just a towel later on she becomes transfixed by the sight so Kara takes matters into her own hands, takes said towel off, saunters over to the other & a few minutes after that they're both back in the bed having sex. On Monday they act as if nothing happened & later on that day a vortex portal breach appears & out of it steps members of the Order which's led by newly-appointed Minister of Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt; this happens because, unknown to Hermione/Kara, a magical trace'd been detected to this Earth. Later they get brought into the DEO & once said DEO agents get briefed on the situation they get to work helping these people but later they hit a dead end so the Order goes back to their Earth to figure out what could've gone wrong but Shacklebolt leaves, newly-resurrected, Nymphadora Tonks on Earth 38 whereupon she gets partnered with Alex & Alex introduces her to Kara/Hermione later on. Elsewhere Kara tries to talk to Cat but she says that they need to work, or at least they try to, but a minute later Cat trips over her heels & the other catches her but they both fall to the floor with Cat on top of Kara; a few seconds later Cat shoves herself off the other & brings her into her private bathroom where they've sex again then they get back to work. After work Kara goes to the DEO & she gets introduced to Tonks. After that, she goes flying around but when she saves someone she doesn't realize that the person's earrings include red K which causes Kara's personality to change. She then goes to Winn's place where she asks him to make her a new suit & he does; he follows her directions which's to make the suit black with a red cape, boots & the El Mayarah symbol. When he asks her why she wanted it this way & she states that she's sick & tired of some people, aliens & villains not taking her seriously but when they see her dressed this way later on it takes them a while to do just that but they eventually do. Sometime later more people, like the Malfoys, from her other Earth show up. When Tonks sees this she reports it to the DEO & they make sure that the people's intentions aren't evil, once that's established they get told if they ever do anything like that then they'll be sent back to their Earth & after that, they agree. After that the DEO uses their power to get the people their necessary paperwork to become citizens such as bank accounts, places to live & jobs; Draco goes to college, Narcissa becomes Head Doctor of Luthor Children's Hospital & Lucius secretly works for CADMUS. A little while later Draco realizes that Supergirl's actually Hermione but he keeps it to himself. Sometime later Lena Luthor shows up to take over LCORP but what no one know's that she's Bellatrix, who escaped death by Polyjuicing her husband Rudolphus to take her place, in disguise. A few weeks later she really does die by getting blown up in her helicopter by assassin John Corbin. A year later another portal vortex breach opens up where it takes Hermione/Kara to another Earth & once she gets there it closes permanently. Later on, she gets used to these surroundings but one day, while walking, she gets hit by a car & before everything goes black her eyes come upon a woman that looks exactly like actress Olivia Wilde.
Hermione/Kara awakens in unfamiliar surroundings which causes her to freak out & she starts thrashing around once she sees that she's hooked up to hospital machinery. When doctors hear it going off they check on it. They can't calm her down so they sedate her instead; a little while later she wakes up again & this time the doctor with her's House. As soon as she makes eye contact with him he becomes snarky, as usual, but she's not pleased a bit & makes a snarky comment back which causes his surgical interns/soon-to-be surgical fellows to laugh silently at his expense. After that, he gets her back on track by asking her who she's but she says she doesn't know. Later he takes her blood to be analyzed & while that goes on he runs more tests, after that he lets her sleep once more but he leaves a surgical intern to watch over her so she doesn't hurt herself. He did this because he found self-inflicted wounds on her body. The intern he leaves' the one that saw her get hit by the cab & Hermione/Kara later finds the intern's name to be Remy 'Thirteen' Hadley. When the results come back they're inconclusive so she gets called the initial's that's found on a bracelet she wears. Meanwhile, Hadley reads to her. A little while later, while Hadley's getting lunch, she wakes up once more. She steps off the bed & walks to the nurse's station to ask what's going on & they tell her but not before returning her to her room; once they tell her what she wants to know she relaxes. They leave her to her own devices & soon as that happens, Hadley returns to see her sitting up. Introductions' made & after that the other interns return to the conference room where they work on other cases. Later fellow intern, known as Cutthroat Bitch, Amber checks up on the other women then goes to see her boyfriend Wilson where after work they go see superdeadfriends, which's a cross between Rammstein, the Prodigy & yungblud. Now, dear reader, we'll get back to K.Z. & Thirteen.
Thirteen brings K.Z. dinner & K.Z. asks her if she wants to stay to eat with her. Thirteen does so. After that they watch some T.V. then she gets ready to go home. Before Thirteen gets ready to go home she loses her footing & K.Z. saves her. When she sees this Thirteen becomes frightened which causes her to scramble out of the other's grasp & rush out of the room. Later that night she contemplates what'd happened, she can't conclude & so she goes to sleep & the next day she acts as if nothing happened. Later she goes back to the other to see how she's doing & after that she moves on to her next job; House tells them about their newest case of Samantha 'Sam' Arias & so they go about trying to diagnose her. She stumps them so House brings Chase & Cameron into helping them but what the 2 doctors don't know's that their relationship won't survive said case or the fact that the hospital's got a hidden Worldkiller on their hands. Once everyone's situated they start asking her questions & after they get answers from them they start on numerous diagnoses which take a few hours to get results but when they get them they don't understand them so they try more tests but they become inconclusive so they go back to the other ones. Also during this time Dr. Cameron becomes drawn to the other but decides not to question it, meanwhile, Kara starts to remember glimpses of her old life: she sees green eyes, a snake & a strange-looking man. She decides to tell Thirteen about the eyes, Thirteen tells House to get her a sketch artist to see if they can get more out of K.Z. & Chase starts to see what's wrong with his wife but he dismisses it as her paying closer attention to her patient & so he goes about his day none the wiser. After the sketch gets finished Kara recalls the name Harry but that's it so she decides to sleep some more to see if she'll be able to remember anything else & with that she closes her eyes. Later on, Sam gets brought into Kara's room because they're going to share it. Sometime later, on Kara's original Earth, the Weasley's die on holiday in Egypt while visiting Charlie. The specifics of what happened're unknown even to the writer of this story.
When Sam gets rolled into the new room & introductions' made lunch happen. After it's eaten, their respective doctors come to talk to them. Kara asks Thirteen if they can go for a walk & they do just that thus leaving the other 2 alone & they talk about Sam's results. After that Sam's daughter, Ruby visits her but it ends as soon as Kara & Thirteen return & Ruby gets picked up by her neighbor & a few hours later they become patients; well at least her because during the ride to the hospital said neighbor dies. Later Sam gets told what's happened which makes her cry which causes Kara to become sad & when she finds out the room the young girl's in she asks Cameron to let her change rooms so the mother & daughter can be together & the doctor makes it so. A few days later, Kara gets released. Meanwhile, a new doctor called Grant Danvers gets asked to help on Sam's case because he specializes in her issue; he gets right to the solution. He tells the others she's Kryptonian. A few hours later, after work ends, Thirteen sees Kara sleeping on a park bench so she asks Kara why she's doing this to which the other replies she doesn't've a place to stay & so Thirteen lets her stay with her until she can get on her feet to which Kara agrees. After this, they spend the next year getting to know each other. Meanwhile, Thirteen & Cameron've got a busy year themselves; Thirteen struggles with her diagnosis of Huntington's & helps to treat an executive assistant with a similar personality to her own. Thirteen takes a woman with whom she'd a 1-night stand to Princeton-Plainsboro after the woman's seizure in Thirteen's apartment. House & the team take on her case, House using it as an opportunity to explore Thirteen's personal life. She ends up finding out the patient only slept with her to get to House, who'd been rejecting the woman as a patient for many years. Cameron takes charge of the case as she'd treated the patient in the past & she & the team figure out ways to treat him at his home. However, as the patient's condition worsens & it becomes difficult to treat him at his home. House & the team plan to get the man into the hospital for surgery without causing any problems. Meanwhile, Cameron & Chase attempt to work through issues in their relationship. A man takes over Cuddy's office & holds House, Thirteen & several patients' hostage, demanding a diagnosis. To make sure that the doctors aren't giving him poor treatment, he forces Thirteen to act as a guinea pig for his treatments. House's to find a way to end the standoff before she becomes seriously ill & before SWAT starts their assault. Later, Thirteen participates in a clinical drug trial for Huntington's disease led by Foreman; Foreman & she learn more about each other as they work together on the Huntington's disease drug trial. At Cameron's urging, the team takes the case of a suicidal man who suffers from excruciating chronic pain; pain that mirrors House's. Meanwhile, Cuddy discovers that caring for her new foster baby leaves her little time to run the hospital. Cuddy decides to spend more time at home to take care of her new foster baby & gives Cameron the responsibility of overseeing House. Foreman must make a potentially dangerous decision about Thirteen's participation in his drug trial. Meanwhile, she begins to suffer serious & life-threatening reactions to her experimental Huntington's disease clinical drug trial. Later on, staff at Princeton-Plainsboro, particularly House & the team, try to deal with Kutner's recent suicide while Cameron presents House with the case of an environmentalist who collapsed in the middle of a protest. Later on, it's during an examination that Cameron gets attacked by a patient because they don't like their results; they throw the chair they'd been sitting on at her & starts hitting her with their fists. A few minutes later they leave her as is & 30 minutes later Sam finds her which causes Sam's Kryptonian powers to appear. Later Cameron gets admitted while Sam gets discharged & she, unknowingly, uses her powers to find said attacker to which she uses her heat vision to severely burn them as well as cut off their hands. Later it'll take the police a while to realize what's happened & even then they'll need help from a clandestine agency to take down Reign. After she's done she gets ready for work which's at the same agency that'll be hunting her down. Kara also works there. A week later Cameron gets put on administrative leave, Sam decides to keep her company & later they go on a double date with Thirteen & Kara. Also during this time, Kara starts calling Thirteen by her real name. They've a great time until 2 more Worldkillers show up but in the ensuing fight, Kara & Sam lose their lives so Remy & Cameron leave because they're distraught over said deaths that they commit suicide & so a quadruple funeral occurs. After this happens God realizes the mistake he's made so he decides to reset time to when Hermione/Kara used the tachyon device to escape her magical fate but instead of her being a relative of the Dark Lord but she's a long-lost Kryptonian who decided to try her real family & once she does they decide to save their lives from Krypton's destruction so they move to Earth. Once they get there she reverts to 13-years-old & her parents die in a house fire, she gets taken in by the Danvers & for the next decade or so she decides to pretend to pass as human but when Alex almost dies she reveals herself to the world; 3 years later more things happen where Kara's been dreaming of Mon-El &'s become obsessive with her vigilantism, ignoring downtime with others in her life.
Lena & James oppose industrialist Morgan Edge regarding his plan for waterfront housing estates. Kara quits CATCO, believing she needs to prioritize being Supergirl & pushing away Alex, who's making plans to marry Maggie. Edge hires criminal Bloodsport to attack the unveiling of a Supergirl statue by the waterfront with a submarine, forcing Kara to go underwater to stop them. When she passes out, her dream of Mon-El rallies her & she stops the attack. In order to nullify his attempts to buy CATCO & silence it, Lena buys it herself. Kara decides to return to CATCO & rejoins her friends. Meanwhile, Samantha 'Sam' Arias wakes up after a dream with a disturbing creature. Kara battles a powerful metahuman bank robber called Psi, who can evoke her victims' deepest fears, forcing Kara to struggle with her memories of Krypton's destruction & her guilt over Mon-El. After Winn's psychic dampener fails, she finally overcomes her fear & arrests Psi. Lena decides to run CATCO personally, taking James by surprise & creating friction with Kara, who initially's difficulty separating work & their friendship. Sam Arias' daughter, Ruby, deliberately puts herself in danger to test whether her mother's superpowers, but she's rescued by Kara. Sam begins to question who she's, her origins & becomes Lena's replacement at LCORP, acting as its CFO. Alex learns that Maggie seems to not want children. J'onn receives a telepathic summons from M'gann, urging him to come to Mars immediately. He tells Kara & Alex about M'gann's message & Kara goes with him as a backup. They journey to Mars in his spaceship, encountering M'gann & a resistance of White Martians. They discover J'onn's father, M'yrnn, has been coerced into giving the villainous White Martians the location of the Staff of Kolar, a psychic weapon that can defeat the resistance. J'onn rescues M'yrnn, who initially believes J'onn's a White Martian in disguise. Eventually, Kara convinces M'yrnn to let him prove his identity. Having acquired the location, the resistance arrives & defeats a contingent of White Martian operatives; the recovered staff's entrusted to J'onn, who returns to Earth with M'yrnn & Kara. She tells him that she no longer needs him because she now's a family who accepts her. However, she confirms to Alex that she doesn't want children. The night Kara 1st revealed her powers & became Supergirl, a grieving passenger, Thomas Coville, was inspired by her.
In the present, Kara attends an ostensible self-help group with Winn & James & discovers a 'cult' made up of people she previously saved. Led by Coville, they worship Supergirl & follow Kryptonian God Rao's teachings. Those who wish to join initiate disasters so that Supergirl'll save them. Coville recognizes Kara in her alter-ego when she confronts him. The group plans to blow up a stadium filled with people. When Kara tries to stop them, she finds Kryptonite inside the bomb which she uses to wound herself, thereby disillusioning the cult. Alex gets rid of the Kryptonite &, with Coville's help, pushes the bomb into a deep hole created by Kara's heat vision, where it detonates. The explosion causes a being in a vessel to awaken. He advises Kara to follow Rao to find her path. Meanwhile, Sam's a vision of a monstrous creature in her home, telling her she soon'll 'reign'. Alex reveals to Kara that, while Maggie doesn't want children, she does. Later, several children're diagnosed with lead poisoning. Morgan publicly blames Lena's lead device which repelled the Daxamites, causing the public to turn on her. She attempts to give a speech to defend herself, but ends up taking fire. Kara & Sam investigate, discovering that all the affected children attended a public pool laced with a chemical that causes the same symptoms &'s manufactured by an Edge subsidiary. Lena confronts him alone. She's knocked unconscious & imprisoned inside a plane with barrels of the chemical, set on a collision course for the city's water supply. She manages to get a message to Supergirl, who rescues her, secures the barrels, & destroys the plane. Morgan, however, covers his tracks. Maggie & Alex realize that, even though they love each other, they must let each other go because they disagree on having children. Alex lets her know how much she's helped her happily accept herself. Maggie, in turn, lets Alex know how much stronger she grew as a person. They part tearfully. Sam discovers that she's shot during the attempt on Lena's life, but wasn't injured. Kara, J'onn & Winn investigate a crashed spaceship detected beneath National City. They find Mon-El & occupied stasis tanks aboard. They take him back to the DEO; when he attempts an escape, a suspicious Kara locks him in a cell. He convinces Winn to take him back to the ship because the life-support systems' unstable. Kara follows them. Mon-El explains that his pod went through a wormhole, bringing him to the 31st century where LCORP'd long since developed a cure for the Daxamite lead allergy. While only 7 months' passed for Kara, he experienced 7 years in the future. A tank begins to malfunction; he can't break it open, so Kara frees its occupant: Mon-El's wife, Imra. J'onn decides to rent an apartment for him & M'yrnn to live together, taking the 1st step towards restoring their bond. After discovering another superhuman ability, Sam visits her foster mother & learns of her Kryptonian origins. She later travels to the Fortress of Sanctuary, where a holographic artificial intelligence reveals that, while Sam's motherhood's unexpected, her Kryptonian physiology's enhanced & she's destined to become the Worldkiller. Despite Sam's resistance, her eyes turn red & her alternate persona, Reign, is triggered from her subconscious. On the parallel world of Earth-X, a Nazi regime rules the planet where an archer, Dark Arrow, is the Führer, & personally hunts the resistance forces. He seizes a temporal gateway from the Freedom Fighters members including James' parallel universe doppelgänger, a device that allows interdimensional travel to other universes; he schemes to invade parallel Earths with the device to spread his reign so that it may last. Kara & Alex travel to Earth 1 to attend Barry Allen's wedding with Iris West. Alex meets the Legends' leader Sara Lance/White Canary, taking the 1st step to recovering from her breakup with Maggie. The wedding ceremony's interrupted by Earth X Nazi invaders, led by Dark Arrow, his Kryptonian-powered wife Overgirl, & his partner Prometheus. After Kara defeats & injures Overgirl during the fight the Nazis retreat, & Alex & Sara capture Prometheus to interrogate. As Overgirl recuperates, she, Dark Arrow & a yellow-clad speedster regroup & discuss their next move; Dark Arrow & Overgirl're revealed as parallel universe doppelgängers of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow & Kara, & the yellow speedster's Barry's nemesis from the 22nd century Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash. Sometime later, Sam wakes up at home with no memory of being in a Kryptonian fortress but finds she's oddly tired. A mysterious Kryptonian symbol, unknown to Kara, appears throughout National City & Thomas Coville later explains to her that it's a mark of a great evil from Krypton deliberately erased from its society. Mon-El & Imra explain how their ship came from the future & how the former founded the superhero team, the Legion. As Kara hosts a Christmas get-together at her apartment, Sam becomes Reign who, as a masked vigilante, attacks & kills random criminals around National City, including Edge, who's able to escape when she attacks him. Reign's rampage damages Supergirl's reputation due to her having the same powers & similar physical attributes. Lena & James begin a relationship after an assassination attempt on her by Edge. When Kara decides to face Reign, they fight throughout the city; in the process, she discovers that Reign's stronger than her. Though the fight clears Supergirl's name & reveals another Kryptonian in National City, Reign eventually overpowers Kara & drops her off a building, requiring emergency medical care from the DEO. On Christmas Day, Ruby runs downstairs to find her mother, but Sam doesn't seem quite right. Sometime later, Kara's injuries' healed by the Legion's technology, but she remains in a coma following her defeat by Reign. The Legion's Coluan member, Brainiac 5, enters her mind to try to wake her. Though Sam continues her life with Ruby, Reign takes control sporadically without Sam's knowledge & Ruby remains unaware of her mother's divided personality. Reign continues her rampage throughout National City &'s a series of confrontations with the DEO & the Legion. Kara emerges from her coma to join them when Reign seeks to destroy a prison. Kara injects her with a concentrated dose of liquefied Kryptonite, forcing her to retreat. Before Kara's awakening, J'onn, who disguised himself as Kara to cover for her, advises Lena on her new relationship with James. Lena sees that James' not trying to distance himself from her because of her family, but she's afraid to be with him; they become closer afterward. Kara takes steps to move on from Mon-El after her near-death experience & develops a friendship with Brainiac 5. As Reign recuperates in her fortress, she learns that there're other Worldkillers like her & Coville join her cause. Sam prepares to go on a business trip, leaving Alex to babysit Ruby. The DEO learns that a priestess with knowledge of Reign's mission's imprisoned in Fort Rozz, which's currently drifting near a blue star that emits radiation fatal to males & strips Kara of her powers. She forms a team with Imra, Livewire, & Psi to locate the priestess. Reign learns of their mission & intercepts them inside Fort Rozz. The team locates the priestess, Jindah Kal Rozz, & she reveals the existence of other Worldkillers, Purity & Pestilence, before Reign kills her. Livewire sacrifices herself to save Kara's life while Psi uses her powers to drive off Reign. Imra's ship starts drifting into the star, but Winn, communicating through the Voyager 2 probe, saves the vessel. The team returns to Earth & Kara repays Psi's assistance by asking the DEO to give her better accommodations. Prompted by a nightmare, Sam asks Alex for help with her missing time. A woman named Julia Freeman's struck by a car; however, she effortlessly moves it off her chest, & her eyes turn silver, revealing herself to be a Worldkiller. Lena's poisoned by an unknown hitman; James pursues him, but the hitman's shot down by a sniper. Kara & Alex're able to stabilize Lena at the DEO. Meanwhile, Edge's car's remotely hijacked. Lena & Kara gatecrash a party hosted by him where Lena confronts him about trying to kill her & warns that her mother wants revenge. Lena confesses to him that she hijacked his car. A drone controlled by Lillian attacks, prompting him to admit he tried to kill Lena. After Supergirl arrives, Lillian attacks her with a Kryptonite blade while wearing Lex's exoskeleton. Kara & Mon-El fight her until Winn hacks the drone & disables the armor. Edge's stopped from escaping with the recorder containing his confession by Guardian; Lena retrieves the recorder. Lillian & Edge's arrested. Sam fears she's a brain tumor due to her memory loss, but all the medical tests come back normal.
Winn, J'onn, & Mon-El deduce that the Worldkillers're genetically modified to be stronger & more able to blend into the human race than conventional Kryptonians. Suspecting the Worldkillers arrived on Earth around the same time as Superman &'ve secret identities, Winn discovers 4 possible women, including Julia Freeman, whom Kara identifies. Later, Supergirl & the DEO converge on Julia Freeman's home; initially, she seems normal, but her alter-ego, Purity, takes over & fights them before being subdued. Sam, on sick leave from LCORP due to her amnesiac episodes, decides to spend time with Ruby by taking her ice skating. However, Reign takes control over Sam after Purity's capture & abandons Ruby to deal with the DEO. Ruby calls Lena after finding herself alone. Through Purity, Supergirl suspects that each of the Worldkillers' personalities' split, including Reign's; therefore, to stop them, they need to reach their benevolent sides. When Purity escapes despite the heroes' attempts to recapture her, Julia regains control, but Reign abducts her to the Fortress of Sanctuary to complete her transformation. While repairing the Legion's ship, Mon-El confides to J'onn that he still loves Kara despite also loving Imra, although he didn't marry her on his terms. Imra confesses to him that she & Brainiac 5've a secret agenda. At LCORP, Reign briefly takes control over Sam in front of Lena. Later, Kara, Alex & Winn attend his father's funeral. Winn's approached by his estranged mother, Mary, but remains distant. Kara saves Winn & Mary when the coffin detonates. Mary reveals to Winn that, after trying to escape to an abuse shelter, Winn's father ran them off the road & threatened Winn's life if she ever went near him again. Flying monkey toys attack the DEO, which Kara & James fend off. Mary helps her son analyze the toys to discover their origin. Mon-El attempts to reconnect with Kara & reveals the Legion came to National City to stop the Worldkiller Pestilence, who'll transform into Blight in 1,000 years. Toyman's penitentiary officer, who sent the toys, kidnaps Mary & holds her at an abandoned toy factory. Kara, Mon-El & Winn save Mary after battling a toy dinosaur & incapacitating the officer. James calls up Lena, who claims to be busy with LCORP work; she's keeping Sam in a locked medical bay in LCORP under sedation. Lena brings Sam out of sedation & tells her that her blood tests are normal, but further analysis shows Sam undergoes a metamorphosis at the cellular level when she becomes Reign. Sam refuses to believe her even when shown images of Reign that correspond with the times of her blackouts. At the DEO, M'yrnn performs a ritual to help preserve his mind, but the psychic bleed affects everyone by bringing out their aggression, except for Mon-El; whose Legion ring protects him). He trains Supergirl on how to use her cape during combat. M'yrnn's ritual causes chaos around the DEO. J'onn convinces her to wear a power-dampening bracelet to stop the psychic bleed after a White Martian & other prisoners escape their cells. Sam refuses to believe she's Reign, so Lena's forced to push her to the limit emotionally by threatening to keep Ruby away from her, causing Sam to turn into Reign. After she regains control & Lena shows her the video proof, she asks Lena to keep Ruby away from her until she's cured. While flying, Kara & Mon-El see dead birds fall from the sky & realize Pestilence's behind it. The DEO investigates the rash of dead animals; it spreads to humans, as people develop flu-like symptoms with a large scratch on their wrists. Imra believes this' the work of Pestilence, the 3rd Worldkiller. Winn & Alex become infected; Brainiac 5 creates a cure using a blood transfusion from Mon-El & Imra, though it fails. The DEO discovers the person behind the attacks' Grace Parker, who's fully accepted her powers & role as a Worldkiller. Supergirl, Mon-El, & Imra battle Pestilence until Purity arrives to help her escape. Imra's able, however, to gain a blood sample from Pestilence for Brainiac to manufacture a working cure. Lena still holds Sam at the LCORP lab to run tests, where she causes Reign to appear for brief moments so she can learn more about her. While in Sam's mind, Reign tells her they're coming for them. After detecting Purity & Pestilence approaching LCORP, Kara, Mon-El, Imra & J'onn go to warn Lena, where they discover Sam. Purity & Pestilence arrive, freeing Reign, & they fly off together. Sometime later, Lena's questioned at the DEO & reveals that she contained Reign using the last of Lex's Kryptonite. At the Fortress of Sanctuary, the Worldkillers work to bring about a total eclipse, which'll render Kara powerless permanently. Grace's dead, but Sam & Julia're still fighting to remember their human lives & stop the Worldkillers from taking control. Kara asks James to make sure Lena doesn't possess more Kryptonite, but he decides to take Lena's word. Brainiac 5 broadcasts Supergirl's, Alex's, & Lena's minds into Juru, a Kryptonian valley, where they track down Sam & Julia. Sam's reminded of Ruby, which prompts her to retake control of her body on Earth. Sam activates a location beacon for the DEO just as Brainiac pulls Supergirl, Alex & Lena out of Juru. Reign takes back control as the DEO arrives on the Legion ship. A fight culminates in Julia, awakened by Alex, & Pestilence killing each other & Reign absorbing their powers, causing the fortress to collapse. James tells Lena he's Guardian & that Supergirl asked him to confirm there's no more Kryptonite. She admits that she made the Kryptonite herself. Reign decides to go after Ruby. Lena & James' attacked by Reign at Lena's place. Lena uses Kryptonite against Reign, which forces her to retreat. However, Lena learns about her hunt to kill Ruby & the Legion's members prepare for a return to their time.
Lena tells Supergirl & Alex about Lex's mansion, where she'd arranged for Ruby's stay. Alex visits Ruby to keep her company. Supergirl & J'onn visits Sam's mother to keep her safe from Reign & to set a trap for her when she comes looking for Ruby there. However, Reign kills Sam's mother. Supergirl & J'onn discover that Reign now's the powers of all 3 Worldkillers. Reign attacks Alex & Ruby at the mansion, leading the latter to discover her mother's split personality. Mon-El stays behind to help Supergirl. They're able to capture Reign with the help of Kryptonite created by Lena. Later, Alex comforts Ruby following the revelation; Ruby now fears for her mother & herself, knowing that she's Reign's child. Lena tells Kara that Supergirl crossed a line by using her relationship with James & she'll never trust her again, leading Kara to be abashed by her actions & doubting her ethics. Kara & James discuss Lena's mistrust of Supergirl & keeping secret identities. Tanya, a Coville follower, brings his journal for James to give to Supergirl. Mon-El & Kara find remnants of a nuclear explosion at the cult's last location. The cult kidnaps Tanya from CATCO, pursued by Guardian. In the ensuing fight, Olivia, the cult's new leader, shoots off James' mask & the cult escapes after the police arrive; the cult later demands Tanya & the journal from James, threatening to reveal Guardian's secret identity. From Coville's journal, Kara realizes the cult's trying to make a new Worldkiller using Harun-El, a black Kryptonite. Mon-El purposefully gets kidnapped by the cult as Tanya turns herself over to them. As she starts the ritual to transform herself into a Worldkiller, he sends a signal for Supergirl to locate them. After a brief fight, she reasons with Olivia enough for her to give up the desire to be a Worldkiller. Winn & Lena find more of the Harun-El, which can be used to help Sam, on a meteor; Mon-El & Kara fly J'onn's spaceship to travel there. They reach the meteor & discover there's a city on it. They're attacked by caretaker droids, but use disguises to blend in while traveling through the city toward the rock. Alex's attacked while spending time with Ruby. She initially suspects it's the killer sheriff she & Kara helped capture 10 years ago until a 2nd attempt's made on her life. Kara realizes the meteor's a surviving part of Krypton, Argo City, & discovers her mother's alive. Alura arranges for a meeting of their High Council to discuss the issue of the Harun-El, as it's used to sustain the life & security of the city. Kara manages to convince the members of the High Council to give her a small quantity of it to defeat Reign. Alex & J'onn set a trap for her assassin by having J'onn pose as her, but the man targets the real Alex before she captures him. Later Selena, a High Council member, is revealed to be a Dark Priestess. Kara & Mon-El arrive back at LCORP just as Reign's increasing immunity to Lena's Kryptonite allows her to escape containment. Later on, they fight Reign as Lena creates an antidote from the Harun-El. Once injected, she separates from Sam & disintegrates. Sam reunites with Ruby at the DEO & Kara asks Lena to artificially reproduce the black rock for Argo City. Kara decides to return to Argo City to be with Alura & she invites Mon-El to join her. Winn & James discover a gun from the DEO's being used on the street as they monitor National City's security for Kara. James & J'onn learn the gun manufacturer sold a version of the DEO weapon to the general public & J'onn later mandates that the DEO switch to non-lethal weaponry. Back in Argo, Kara & Mon-El talk about their feelings for each other, but're interrupted by a woman who's been following Kara. She identifies herself as a Dark Priestess & Selena as her High Priestess. M'yrnn & J'onn discuss performing the Reach, a Martian ritual for an elder to pass on all memories to a younger family member. Kara & Mon-El discover that Selena & the other priestesses stole their ship & Coville joins them when they arrive on Earth, leaving Kara & Mon-El trapped on Argo. Coville, Selena & the other Kryptonians begin a ritual at the Fortress of Sanctuary to summon Reign back to Earth. However, her body won't completely form & Selena determines they require blood from Pestilence & Purity. Sam undergoes testing at the DEO & M'yrnn & J'onn begin the Reach. Kara uses Alura's hologram crystal to contact Winn & explain Selena's plan to conquer Earth. Winn replicates a portal in the DEO as Mon-El fixes the one on Argo to travel between Argo & National City. The Kryptonians break into the DEO to locate the Worldkillers' blood. Kara, Alura & Mon-El travel back to Earth to join the fight & the Kryptonians leave once they possess the blood. They complete the ritual, but Selena kills Coville. Lena determines that, as Reign gets stronger, Sam gets weaker. Alura reveals there's a fountain that can strengthen Sam & weaken Reign; Sam travels to Juru to find it. Reign begins traveling to the Earth's core with the sword of Juru to terraform Earth into a new Krypton, setting off earthquakes. As the earthquakes worsen Supergirl, Alura, Guardian & the DEO protect National City; Imra & Brainiac 5 return to help. M'yrnn gives J'onn a final memory before merging with the Earth to stop the terraforming; the heroes defeat the priestesses. Sam finds the fountain in Juru & makes peace with her mother. She drinks from the fountain & defeats Reign using the sword. However, this leads to Sam, Mon-El & Alura dying, so Supergirl goes back in time & changes the outcome of their fight using the Harun-El. Brainiac 5 decides to stay on present-day Earth because a distant relative's started wiping out all other AI & asks Winn to take his place with the Legion. Winn accepts his offer & travels to the future with Mon-El. J'onn steps down from the DEO & promotes Alex as director, James publicly confesses that he's Guardian & Kara decides to stay on Earth instead of returning to Argo with her mother. Sam, completely rid of her Kryptonian side, returns to her life with Ruby. Lena gives Alura all of the Harun-El & a mathematical formula to create more, but synthesizes a portion for secret experiments; after that Kara lives happily ever after, or at least for the most part because 3 years later more things happen such as Lex gaining the combined powers of the bottled Leviathan members & plans on doing what the Anti-Monitor couldn't do, destroy all life on Earth & beyond, safe only for his brainwashed followers. With the help of her team, Supergirl destroys Gamemnae by uploading the Anti-Life Equation in the nearest console. Then she & her group fight Lex. Lex is depowered by a fragment from Jarhanpur & arrested, but he succeeds in trapping Supergirl inside a crystal shard which transports her directly into the Phantom Zone. As Lillian is visiting Lex at the National City Prison, Lena shows up & uses Myriad to wipe their memory of Supergirl's identity. As J'onn mentions that Malefic does not know where Supergirl is in the Phantom Zone as he only knows Midnight's location, M'gann is looking for someone who can help them.
In the Phantom Zone, Supergirl meets her father, Zor-El, who survived Krypton's destruction by sending himself into the Phantom Zone & saves her from the Phantoms. Her friends find a benign vampire-like Transylvanian named Silas who once broke into the Phantom Zone, & they agree to work with him. Due to the Crisis, the Zone has fractured in the style of an archipelago & they cannot locate Supergirl & several Phantom Zone Phantoms escape from the Zone. Lex's trial ends in an acquittal after he discredits Eve & Lena as witnesses. Silas later contacts J'onn stating that one of the Phantoms evaded capture. A Phantom escapee attacks Silas & attempts to overtake him, & M'gann is injured while fighting it. In the Phantom Zone, Zor-El is kidnapped by some Kryptonian criminals led by Scar & is sent to be sacrificed to the Phantoms. Kara is injured, though she is rescued by a depowered 5th-dimensional being named Nyxlygsptlnz, a princess who knows Mxyzptlk, was sent to the Zone by her father. Brainy explains that Phantoms were once known as the Zulian Maletarians. Meanwhile, Lena locks Lex out of LutherCorp's systems & donates all of his funds to a children's hospital. In retaliation, Lex has Otis destroy it & blame a project that Lena oversaw. Kelly helps Alex cope with her sister's disappearance, & Lena talks Brainy down from a plan to murder Lex as Lena later tells Lex that she is leaving LuthorCorp. Kara learns that what wounds don't heal normally in the Phantom Zone, but Nyxly heals her when Kara helps her regain her magic at the cost of her sphere. They rescue Zor-El & they focus on making an escape plan using Nyxly's magic, using their advantage that Alura built the Phantom Zone, which Jor-El, Superman's father, discovered. Meanwhile, Lena creates a weapon against the Phantoms & a way to track Kara in the Phantom Zone using her DNA from a stone that Alex gave her. However, Alex later forces her to re-calibrate the device to find the Phantoms' lair as it's the only way to rescue the stolen souls, & Kara would prioritize countless others over her life. Nia has visions, of Kara & Alex & Midvale High, & helps Brainy process his emotions. In the Phantom Zone, Kara, Nyxly, & Zor-El search for a mirror that can transport them home, but Zor-El is attacked. Nyxly attempts to convince Kara to leave Zor-El behind, claiming that he has been hindering her progress like her own father. Kara refuses & Nyxly reveals that she was the attacker, plans to take revenge on her father, & plots mischief on Earth. In the fight, Kara starts a self-destruct sequence & smashes the mirror to block Nyxly's escape. Sentinel, Brainy, Dreamer, & J'onn release the collected souls, turning Silas & the transformed Phantoms back into their original selves. To get more of Kara's DNA, the team must go back in time to when Kara was in high school; in 2009 Midvale, Alex has been away in college & Kara has been do-gooding with the help of Kenny Li (resurrected by a Crisis timeline shift). Cat Grant tracks evidence of super-feats in Midvale for a Daily Planet story. Brainy & Dreamer land the day before the prom & Kara, Alex, & Kenny find them immediately & offer to help the "stranded aliens" (who call themselves Brandon & Brenda from the planet Psycon). At the same time, the poacher Professor Naxim Tork & his henchman Mitch arrive in a Bismolian ship to capture superpowered aliens for his menagerie. He plans to attract Kryptonians to a staged disaster, though this did not work with Superman. Kara & Dreamer use their powers to prevent the disaster, which Cat partially witnesses. She enlists a child with a small drone to investigate further. Kara resolves to break off with Kenny but then learns he has built her a "fortress of solitude". Brainy identifies Tork but learns that their new activities have prevented him from being captured three days later in Uruguay by the DEO. When Brainy & Dreamer track Tork down, he emerges from a cloaked ship & captures them in a force field meanwhile Kara eliminates the dampening field, & all three defeat the poachers. Brainy locks them in their ship & sets to fly them to Uruguay, restoring the original timeline. But Cat observes this with her drone, finds the cloaked ship, & accidentally releases the poachers. Their interference causes Kara to be severely poisoned when she stops the meteor. When the poachers demand the Kryptonian, Kenny instead surrenders, who's taken on the ship along with Cat. Brainy & Dreamer, & a somewhat recovered Kara, rescue Kenny & Cat, but also release Plutonian Land Sharks. The poachers flee, the ship becomes visible, & Kara is identified. Dreamer proposes a desperate plan to travel back to the first fight with the poachers, & Kara stows away on their ship. Dreamer destroys the drone, finally interprets her dream, & convinces Cat to quit the Planet & begin her media empire. Kara & Brainy defeat the poachers again, sending them again to Uruguay. When the meteor arrives, Kara is only slightly injured & Brainy can recover the blood sample. Kara tells Kenny she will leave town for college, & invites Kenny to come with her, but he chooses to find his destiny. Kara & Zor-El are attacked by Phantoms while escaping, & Kara experiences a Fear Vision of her friends' deaths. Brainy & Nia return with Kara's DNA, J'onn transforms the Tower into a spaceship, & all head for the Phantom Zone while M'gann stays behind to defend National City. Kelly teaches everybody how to overcome Fear Visions, leading J'onn & Alex to argue over who is more suited to retrieve Kara. A Phantom breaches containment, causing everybody to experience Fear Visions. Alex sees herself getting infected by a Phantom & sacrificing herself to draw the Phantoms away. Lena sees a Kelpie, a mythical creature that drowns everyone onboard. Kelly sees her friends infected & doubting her strength. Nia sees Brainy being sucked out of the ship after failing to interpret her dreams. J'onn & Brainy are unaffected due to their alien natures, & can force the Phantom back into containment, ending the Fear Visions. Zor-El reminds Kara of her strength, Lena locates Kara, deploys a yellow sun bomb that restores her powers, & both Kara & Zor-El fly to the Tower with the sun bomb repelling the Phantoms. Nyxly survives & stows away on top of the Tower then the team celebrates Kara's return.
Zor-El joins Kara & Nia at CATCO, posing as Kara's uncle Archie. She visits William, who mentions that he's seeing someone else. As CATCO's ratings plummet, Andrea overworks Kara & him in desperate attempts to discredit Lex & reclaim CATCO's spot. Zor-El joins Supergirl in putting out a fire from a fallen satellite at a large collection of garbage in the ocean. The garbage prompts him to combat Earth's environmental crises, so he uses Kelex to convert the garbage into energy, but it malfunctions & becomes a giant trash robot. Brainy & he create a virus to destroy it. Afterward, he leaves to reunite with Alura in Argo City, Kara talks to Alex about her time in the Phantom Zone, & Lena calls Nia saying that she interpreted her Fear Vision of the Kelpie & leaves to visit her birthplace. In the middle of the night, Nia awakens, saying Nyxly's on, in a dream, Nia unsuccessfully tries to reach her late mother when Nyxly appears. She says that she's trapped in the dream but offers to bring Nia's mother to her alive for a day & in return for Nia freeing her she promises to return to the 5th dimension afterward & against her better instincts & against the advice of an owl Nia finally agrees. Andrea continues to urge Kara & William to get human interest stories about the Superfriends. Kelly's assigned to help an alien boy, who's acting out with their superpowers. The boy's brother's in prison, so Kelly & Kara soon learn that his much-lauded work release plan's been corrupted to use him, & some other superpowered aliens, to steal parts for a dirty bomb. William & Kara finally identify the warden & a known crime boss as the plotters & Supergirl convinces the unwilling perpetrators to surrender. Andrea's pleased with William's live interview with Supergirl. Kelly covertly exposes the boy's abusive foster host & with Alex & James' support, she plans to take on the role of Guardian. Sometime later Nyxly puts Nia into isolation for the day, where her mother chastises her for releasing Nyxly but helps her understand & overcome her fear. Nyxly's left powerless & she's captured by Naxim Tork's former partner Mitch but he releases her when she explains this. In gratitude, she hatches a plan to impress Tork by capturing Supergirl. Mitch 1st finds an Edifarian engineering expert, Dr. Desmond Raab, who builds a cryo-bomb able to freeze everything for a mile, & they start it going at the Ormfell Building; this' going to be a housing project where Orlando would've be able to bring Joey but's now going to be a tech complex over the opposition of Supergirl. J'onn stabilizes the building & she destroys the bomb with her heat vision but this recharges Nyxly's powers. After Supergirl & Brainy make a PSA about nutrition, she unsuccessfully tries to use her media platform to preserve the building but eventually succeeds by letting Orlando tell his story to the city council. As the other Superfriends save the citizens there, Nyxly freezes Supergirl & begins destroying the building. As she gloats that she's powerless against magic Supergirl summons Mxyzptlk where he confronts her long enough for Supergirl to free herself & him. Later on, he explains musically that Nyxly plans vengeance on her father King Brppx by assembling 7 magic stones which'll grant her unlimited power but to do so she needs to imprison him in a crystal & she'll find him immediately if he uses any magic. Later on, she 1st terrorizes the city by creating a giant cat, which the Superfriends barely send into the Phantom Zone, but she then binds them in the face of a Hell Dragon. It's revealed Imps can't kill but the Hell Dragon can.
Mxy saves them by surrendering to her & they now must somehow stop her. She enlists Mitch's help after earlier rejecting him. Meanwhile, Lena visits the Newfoundland hometown of her mother Elizabeth Walsh, guided by a photo with her friends Margaret Bishop & Florence Abbott. There she learns that Elizabeth's remembered as an evil witch blamed by Bishop's daughter Peggy for the deaths of her parents. With Andrea's help, Lena finds Abbott who magically shows her that their coven killed Bishop's abusive husband, unable to control their powers. Florence tells her that she also's magical abilities but, earlier, Kelly sees the destruction of the Ormfell building & rushes there; helping Orlando pull Joey out of the rubble. Later on, the overwhelmed hospital workers pay little attention to them even though they're glowing strangely. Councilwoman Rankin also glows and intimidates a doctor into giving her experimental treatment. She recovers immediately & also gains the ability to materialize objects by wishing; with the side effect that drains the energy of other people from the building. Even her friends, preoccupied with finding Nyxly, pay little attention to Kelly except for John Diggle who'd been sent by James to help her until she identifies Rankin's strange abilities. She fights Rankin as Guardian & grabs a piece of her hair which enables Brainy to learn how to stop her. He also improves the Guardian suit & tells Kelly that even the 31st century still's inequality & oppression. As Supergirl battles Rankin to a standstill & Guardian uses Brainy's device to draw out Rankin's 5th-dimensional energy and return it to the others as Rankin's handed over to the police. Meanwhile, in Newfoundland, Lena begins studying magic until she rushes back to help her friends, returning home to find a magic book sent by Florence. At the Fortress, Kara & Lena learn about the Stone of Courage from Vita; a simulation of an eccentric Kryptonian witch. When someone activates it with a magic word, they must revisit a time when they lacked courage, gaining its power when they succeed in this trial. Nyxly tracks the stone to National City & uses Mitch's plan to steal it but before she escapes Supergirl's able to blast it with her heat vision thus leaving them with ½ each. This event enhances the courage of everyone at the scene: a shy scientist's emboldened to harness lightning, Sentinel becomes reckless, J'onn's distracted by being able to express his feelings & Brainy dares to make inaccurate predictions. They each attempt the trial. Kara revisits her emergence as Supergirl but fails when she changes the scenario to include more heroic acts. Nyxly revisits her betrayal by her brother; 1st failing twice by killing her father & then her brother but finally succeeding by expressing her anger at her brother. Kara's ½ tries to rejoin the other, Lena stops this for a time but Kara's got to release hers so that she stops the catastrophic lightning storm with her team restored to their normal personalities. This works but Nyxly now's the stone & looks for more. Vita suggests to Lena that a previously unknown Earth witch might be able to help. Sometime later, William asks to be embedded with the Superfriends; agreeing to keep some operational details secret. Meanwhile, Nyxly finds & takes the Totem of Humanity in the form of a Bodhi charm & activates it; causing everyone in range to join a brawling mob.
Lena 1st fails to use her mother's spell but William helps her with a cooking analogy. The spell works but makes the area of violence larger. Supergirl convinces her to use the spell again in the same way; knowing through her psychic bond that Nyxly's overwhelmed by feelings of compassion affecting her plans to obtain the Totem of Hope. She abandons the Totem of Humanity, ending the violence, & Supergirl recovers it, but Nyxly starts after the others while planning to reclaim it at a later date. Meanwhile, Kelly checks on the new foster parents of Esme & they seem nice but when they're trapped by the mob but when they discover that she can breathe fire when faced with an Infernian attacker they put her outside to protect themselves before Guardian & Sentinel rescue her & they decide to become her foster parents to figure out her true powers. Later on, Esme's new life with Kelly & Alex's soon complicated by her ability to acquire superpowers from anyone nearby. They let her experience their friends' powers but overdo it to the point where she says she should go back. With the help of a Truth Seeker, they reassure Esme that they'll never abandon her. Nyxly identifies the Totem of Hope & finds that to use it they must "inspire hope brighter than the sun". Thinking this' a job for Supergirl Nyxly plans to extort both the Hope & Humanity tokens by taking William, hostage. Her activation of the totem exacerbates a dispute between Kaznia & another nation, leading to nuclear war. Supergirl disarms both nations, passing her test by inspiring hope, & with William's help rescues him & gets all 3 stones. She sends the Hope totem into the sun so that Nyxly can never unite all 7. Nyxly receives a gift from a 'secret admirer' which contains what appears to be a Lexosuit where she finds that it's got an A.I. modeled after her voice. Following its advice, she heads to a laboratory & hacks into a special museum so that she can access the Dream Realm & claim the Totem of Dreams but as a side-effect, a Nightmare Monster's released causing the Super Friends to quarantine it in a forcefield dome.
Andrea wants Kara to interview the leaders of Kaznia & Corto Maltese upon noting that she's fallen behind. Nia follows her dream vision to a university & the office of Dr. M. Revée where she finds that Dr. Revée's an alias of her estranged sister Maeve. They work together to get into the Dream Realm with Nyxly not far behind them. When Maeve tries to grab the Totem of Dreams the Totem Oracle deems her unworthy causing an argument between Nia & her; despite Nia's efforts, Nyxly uses the Lexosuit's gauntlet to get by the wards & make off with the Totem of Dreams. Later on, when the National Guard's called in the Super Friends successfully send it back into the Dream Realm at the cost of Kara being a little bit late for the interview. As Andrea comments that Kara's lucky she got them to reschedule, Kara states that Andrea's right & that Kara's handed the job to William while announcing her resignation but as Supergirl, Kara enlists his help to alert people of Nyxly meanwhile Nia considers Maeve's act unforgivable but give her a 2nd chance as her sister. At the suggestion of the Lexosuit A.I., Nyxly puts the Totem of Dreams in the gauntlet & when she does, the energy inside takes the form of Lex, ready to help but the A.I. inside the suit wasn't programmed by Lex because it is Lex. He then reveals to Nyxly that he traveled to the future, where they fell in love & that her plan fails. Later on, the Superfriends bait her using a fake Love Totem & Lex rescues her but she rebuffs him, so he captures Mitch & uses him in a plan to attract her meanwhile J'onn unlocks the Courage Totem; revisiting the time he failed to protect his daughters.
Nyxly finds the Love Totem but it disappears during a fight with the Superfriends & asks for Lex's help. Later it reappears when Alex & Kelly propose to one another but it's destroyed in another fight against Lex & Nyxly. With Lena's help, Kara uses the Humanity Totem against Nyxly, but Lex rescues her & retreats. Afterward, the Superfriends celebrate Alex's & Kelly's engagement. Meanwhile, Andrea plans to expose Lex's partnership but's ignored by William, who secretly meets with Otis Graves. Acrata steals a journal to expose Lex. Lex gives Nyxly a recreated Hope Totem while a new Love Totem appears on Esme's neck. Later the Superfriends locate Mitch's ship in cislunar space. Meanwhile, J'onn & Supergirl defeat Nyxly & Lex. He activates the ship's self-destruct & flees through a portal. Supergirl obtains the new Hope Totem at the last minute. Meanwhile, Kelly & Alex host their bachelorette party thus leaving William to mind Esme at the Tower. Brainy reveals his message from the 31st century; that he can only save the Coluan people by returning there & ending his existence. Nyxly locates the Love Totem, Lex disarms the Tower's defenses & they take Esme while Lex kills William. Later on, Lex offers to exchange Esme for the other totems; the Love Totem tattoo begins losing its petals but Nyxly refuses to harm Esme despite Lex's warning that this' how she fails. Lillian attempts to break them up. Later on, Lena catches Acrata in the Tower but reminds her that she can change for the better. Kara finds the Destiny Totem in Prague & sees Lex & Nyxly all-powerful but Alex takes it & the other totems. Lex extracts the Love Totem but this angers Nyxly & she takes it & returns Esme. Brainy & J'onn hijack a satellite to refocus the sun's energy into Kara to make her invincible but stop when humanity's harmed by the loss of sunlight. The All-Stone's formed but Esme shatters it & Nyxly, Lex & the Superfriends fight for its fragments. Nyxly mortally wounds Lillian. Nyxly & Lex depower humans to keep fighting each other. Lillian tells Lena to fully own her power & dies meanwhile Kara reassures the people of humanity & they reclaim their power; weakening Lex & Nyxly. The Superfriends, joined by Acrata, Orlando, Mitch, Eliza, Mon-El, & Jimmy fight Lex, Nyxly & manifestations of Overgirl & others. Lex opens a portal to the Phantom Zone but since they feed on fear & their supposed victims stand strong; the Phantoms drag Lex & Nyxly in. Days later, the Superfriends attend William's funeral & reform the DEO. Mon-El tells Kara that he won't any longer be able to return to the past to see her; officially ending any chance of them getting back together. 3 weeks later, Cat re-buys CATCO & offers Kara a job as her editor-in-chief. Alex & Kelly get married, & Brainy decides to stay in the present with Nia; however in doing so, & by refusing to merge with the Big Brain, he causes the apparent genocide of the Coluan race. Winn mentions that J'onn & M'gann've a son in the future. Cat & Lena convince Kara to accept the job & combine her double life by revealing her identity as Supergirl. A few years later Kara remembers Remy & decides she wants to see her again so she asks Superman for some blue K so she can be able to die of old age but before she's able to do so another portal vortex breach appears which brings her to an alternative Earth 38. When she gets to her alternative apartment she's watching a horror movie with Alex & Lena. The next morning she's on a plane with Lena to go to a campground for a team-building exercise & during this, only a single person gets murdered by the Watcher because, somehow, Kara anticipates the rest & calls Alex to help out with capturing him/her before anyone else can die. Alex does just that; so dear reader the rest of my story, "I Ran (So Far Away) Across the Universe(s)", well the rest of it, doesn't happen. After that everyone goes home to recover. A few days later Kara goes back to work but later a super emergency causes her to leave but before she can do anything about said emergency an alien sends her to another Earth where she's mistaken for actress Melissa Benoist; Kara just goes with the flow.
One day her agent gets her an audition on House & she gets the part of Remy 'Thirteen' Hadley's love interest. Over the next few months, she pulls double duty on both shows & during this time she starts dating her co-star Chris Wood & 10 months later she gives birth to their daughter Elena Rose. Later her House stint ends & she goes back to Supergirl for 2 more seasons while Chris pulls double duty with it & the revival of the Vampire Diaries but when it ends 4 years later life gets turned upside down; the alien that sent her to her new Earth gets captured by the DEO where they make him bring her back. Also actress Olivia Wilde gets caught in the portal vortex breach & when she lands she asks to see Ashton because she believes she's being Punk'd but when she sees her missing House co-star, Jennifer Morrison, she realizes their telling the truth. Later she goes to Jennifer's apartment to sleep. The next morning they go back to the DEO to get their new lives; Jennifer becomes a free-lance writer named Cameron Morrison & Olivia gets called Hadley Wilde & becomes the owner of the music venue The Pier. Later on, their new lives begin where Cameron gets hired by CATCO & starts dating post-Worldkiller Samantha 'Sam' Arias & Hadley dates Kara. A few months later all 4 women get married in a joint wedding. Hadley adopts Elena Rose who, later, becomes the newest Kryptonian hero known as SuperValor. Finally, Earth becomes the safest it's ever been but a while later Kara gets asked to go to a different Earth because they need a Kara to always to be on it & that Earth's Kara disappeared & no one's seen her since.
