A/N: Hey guys heres the first chapter, I hope you like it! Also this chapter is going to be very short as it just sets up the br story. Please dont review saying its short... It will get MUCH longer.
Chapter One
Harry's Bedroom, 11:30 P.M.
Harry Potter looked solemly at his feet thinking to himself life away at last from the Dursleys. After the events of last year Harry couldn't help but wonder why so many around him died because of him. First Sirius at the Department of Mysteries, and now Dumbledor at the end of last year in the Astronomy tower. Should he distance himself from hes friends he slowly thought... They would be safer yes, but would it really matter anymore? Voldemort knew he was close to Ron and Hermione. Surely it wouldnt matter if he distanced himself.
Harry frowned slightly as he heard a soft tap on his window. Looking up he saw hedwig looking at him with her deep amber eyes. He crossed to the window and opened it slowly. Hedwig hoped inside holding out her leg wich carried an envolope with Lupins hand writing on it.
Wondering what lupin could possibly want with him, he opened the letter to read:
Harry,
How are you? I know that you are most probobly thinking to yourself how much this is your fault. I'm here to tell you that you need to stop being so arogent and look around you. Your friends love you as much as I do. Ron, Hermione and I do NOT want you to blame yourself for this. All three of us love you and have your best intrest in mind. I have also written to you to inform you that I will be the new Headmaster of Hogwarts this year. I was just as surprised by this as you are! Mcgonagle wrote to me and asked me If I could help. The last thing is the most important matter with wich I wish to discuss with you. I have learned from a source ( no it wasn't Ron or Hermione) that you are planning on looking for Voldemort this year instead of going to Hogwarts. I am going to tell you this Harry. You are not going. Your parents and Sirius would both have wished that you complete your education.

Harry frowned thinking back on what Lupin had said. Then he rememberd what he had said about his parents, and quitly br thanked lupin for helping him think things through.
A/N: See! Told you it would be short. Next chapter will be MUCH longer. I'm sorry for posting such a small one. I have school again tomarro, so I dont know if Il get it done by tomarro or the next day. Thanks for everyones help and your support.
