Chapter 1: Derek Toomy meets The Wizard
Date: Saturday December 13th 1975
Time: 7:50pm
Year: 1975
Location: Chamberlain, Maine
*THUNDER RUMBLING*
The storm & snow were weather, all woods, the car was street.
(In Mr. Wheeler's Car…)
*CHRISTMAS MUSIC PLAYING ON THE RADIO*
A young boy, by the name of Derek Toomy, was in the chair, in a car with his father: Mr. Toomy was riding in a car, and his older brother: John. Young John looked up at the cloud, his father was smiling, Young Derek was the glasses, his hands sounded Magic 8 Ball, he saw a note.
DON'T COUNT ON IT.
Mr. Toomy looks up at his younger son's seat.
"Derek… I said no toys at Grandfather's." His father replied.
"But it's Christmas." Young Derek replied.
His father sighs and Young John turns around and grabs the toys for his younger brother.
"STOP IT!" Young Derek yelled.
"Hey." His father replied.
Young John pulled his younger brother's head and sat on the chair.
"HEY, DAD!" Young Derek yelled and turned to his father.
"HEY!" His father shouts.
Young John turns his head to his father and gets mad.
"Derek, you can't go crying to other people all the time. A man needs to know when to stand up for himself." His father replied.
"Dear Magic-Isn't-Real Ball, will Derek ever be a man?" Young John asked in concern.
His father scoffs & turns to Young John shakes Magic 8 Ball, his father turns to his older son, he smiled, Young John smiled & looks down at a note, Young John laughs.
"Ouch. "Outlook not so good." Young John replied.
Young John throws the Magic 8 Ball to his younger brother, his father turns to his older son, he chuckles, Young Derek is mad, Magic 8 Ball is beeping, he looks down at a note was language.
"You broke it." Young Derek replied.
Young Derek looked up at the riding & chairs were empty for his father & older brother.
"Dad? John?" Young Derek asked in concern.
Radio static and engine revving to the car. Young Derek was gasping, he turned around at speed.
"Someone help me!" Young Derek replied.
Magic 8 Ball was language to symbols.
"HELP!" Young Derek yelled, as he was breathing heavily.
Young Derek saw light speed, the window was cold, he was still breathing heavily and turned around the window cold, his buckle belt was off, as Derek opened the door, he saw… When he is suddenly transported to the cave.
(Later at the Cave…)
"Hello?" Young Derek asked in concern.
Young Derek got out of the car, he was walking & looked around the trophy room, he saw the worm was captured & kept in a terrarium.
"Derek." The man replied, as he appeared behind Young Derek.
Young Derek gasped softly, turned around, & walked. As Young Derek was breathing heavily, he went into Rock of Eternity, he saw all 7 chairs, The old man got up, The old man's red & yellow costume, yellow symbol, Young Derek saw a note.
LUST, SLOTH, PRIDE
"Derek Toomy." The old man replied.
"Who are you?" Young Derek, as he walks and paused. "How do you know my name?"
"I am the last of the Council of Wizards. Sworn to protect the realms from the Seven Deadly Sins." The old man, calling himself The Wizard replied.
The Wizard looks around at the Seven Deadly Sins, they were started.
"But years have passed, and I grow weak. That is why I seek a champion to inherit my magic." The Wizard replied.
"You want me to do magic?" Young Derek asked in concern.
"With this, all of my powers will become yours." The Wizard replied.
The Wizard's magic staff, he saw the hologram is gold. Young Derek grabbed at the top of the magic staff but the Wizard pulled it out of his grasp.
"Ah. But first… you must demonstrate that you're pure of heart and strong in spirit." The Wizard replied.
PRIDE WRATH GLUTTONY ENVY
The Seven Deadly Sins were voice whispering, Young Derek turns and sees them, the Seven Deadly Sins have red eyes, he hears the voices of the Sins, trapped in stone statues, promising him power if he will free them. His enemies: The Seven Deadly Sins, is the name of a group: Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Envy, Greed, Sloth, & Lust.
"He lies." Wrath replied.
"Don't be his champion." Pride replied.
"We can give you power." Envy replied.
"Take the eye." Wrath replied.
Young Derek turned to the ball: Eye of Sin.
"Take it." Envy replied.
Young Derek was tempted by the Eye of Sin.
"Your father thinks you're weak. Show him your power." Greed replied.
The Wizard turned to Young Derek and saw the Eye of Sin, Young Derek right eye to Eye of Sin.
"Take the eye." Envy replied.
Young Derek's right hand touches the Eye of Sin.
"No!" The Wizard replied.
The lightning strike hitting Young Derek's right hand, as Young Derek was gasping, Eye of Sin does not touch Young Derek's right hand is injured, the Seven Deadly Sins were red eyes are all gone.
"What? What happened?" Young Derek asked in concern, as he turned to the Seven Deadly Sins were red eyes were all gone.
"Only the purest of hearts can resist their temptations. But you, you will never be worthy." The Wizard replied.
The Wizard's magic staff was banged, the Wizard deems Young Derek unworthy and magically returns him to the car, so Young Derek closed his eyes.
*CHRISTMAS MUSIC PLAYING ON THE RADIO*
(In Mr. Toomy's Car…)
Young Derek opened his eyes, he looked around in the car.
"Wait." Young Derek replied.
Young John turns his head to his younger brother.
"I'm good enough, I swear!" Young Derek replied.
"What?" Young John asked in concern.
Mr. Toomy turns to his younger son.
"Let me back in!" Young Derek replied.
Young Derek grabs the opening door locked and Young John grabs his younger brother.
"CLAM DOWN, DEREK!" His father yelled, as he turned to his younger son.
Young Derek shouting at his older brother, Young John grabs his younger brother. As Young Derek smashes the door.
"DON'T OPEN THE DOOR!" Young John yelled.
"STOP IT!" Young Derek yelled to his older brother.
Young Derek pulled his older brother.
"Calm down." His father replied.
"STOP!" Young Derek yelled.
"Hey, I'm gonna kill you, you little freak!" Young John replied.
*TIRES SCREECHED*
Mr. Toomy's car left the street and the truck.
"Stop… Oh!" His father replied, as he turned to the truck.
Mr. Toomy swerved, Young John turned to the truck coming.
*HORN BLARING*
The car light wheels, tires screeching to the car, all yelping to Mr. Toomy & the boys, the car was rolled, Mr. Toomy swerved and rolled, the car stopped, the truck was going. Mr. Toomy & the boys saw the truck, they were shocked, Mr. Toomy exhaled.
"I was just there. This man, this Wizard, he took me to a castle and-" Young Derek replied.
"Stop. Stop! STOP IT!" His father growled and got mad at his younger son.
Young John was gulping to his father.
"You miserable, whiny, little shit! You could have killed us!" His father replied.
Young Derek looks down.
"Do you understand that?" His father asked in concern.
*TIRES SCREECHED*
Mr. Toomy turns and Young John looks at the truck…
*CRASH!*
The truck smashes the car and rolls, Young Derek closed eye and turns his head, his glasses dropped.
*CHRISTMAS MUSIC PLAYING ON THE RADIO*
The window & glass were broken, Young Derek fell, the car fell & damaged, as Young Derek's glasses was dropped, music stopped, Young Derek was breathing heavily, woke up, & grabbed his glasses, car was in an accident, the car's window was broken, Young John woke up & turned to see his father was empty.
"Dad? DAD!" Young John replied.
Young John & Derek buckle belt in off, they open the door and get out of the car.
"Dad? You're okay. You're gonna be okay." Young John replied.
Young Derek looked down, Young John knelt at his father and got injured. Mr. Toomy groans, coughing, & groaning, Young John panting & turns around to his younger brother.
"You did this. YOU DID THIS!" Young John replied.
Young Derek nodded no.
"No. Dad." Young Derek replied.
Young Derek was the shoes's back to Magic 8 Ball, Young Derek gasps & looks down at Magic 8 Ball, then a note.
FIND US.
The Magic 8 Ball was lighting strike, Young Derek was shocked.
(Later at the Cave…)
The Wizard turned to the Seven Deadly Sins, which were stone cracking.
"Your magic grows weak. Soon, you won't be able to contain us." Wrath replied.
The Sins send Young Derek a message telling him to find them.
"Seeking Spell, find me one soul who is worthy." The Wizard replied.
The Wizard's magic staff was bangs & gold.
"No matter how long it takes." The Wizard replied.
The gold was still.
