The Message

Disclaimer: Terry Moore owns these lovable characters. I'm merely stealing borrowing them for the moment

Katchoo played and replayed the message over and over again. She wanted proof that it was actually happening and not a dream again.

It felt like an eternity since she had last heard Francine's sweet Tennessee drawl.

The last that she had spoken with Francine, it had seemed so final: Francine had told that she couldn't take all that Katchoo was anymore.

That had been one of Katchoo's greatest pains of her twenty-something life: it hurt more then her mother's denial of her stepfather's abuse or when she took a blade to her own wrists.

Will the hurt be healed?
