Chakotay sings at a party
Spoilers for Hunters
Set from when Janeway and Chakotay are talking about their letters from Earth, (Janeway's found out that Mark has left her for good).
"On our way," Janeway replied to Neelix.
She linked arms with her first officer as they made their way to the mess hall.
Janeway wasn't concentrating where she was going so just before they reached the sensors for the mess hall doors Chakotay pulled her aside.
"Are you okay Kathryn? You seem quieter than usual. KATHRYN."
"Sorry. I was thinking about Mark."
"Cheer up. We don't want you to crash the party would we?"
Both Janeway and Chakotay entered the party laughing slightly.
"Chakotay have you seen the captain's face. She looks really lonely and unhappy sitting at that table on her own."
"She's getting over what was in her letter… Harry, do you think it would be okay if I go on stage after Megan Delaney?"
"Yeah it should be. Why?"
"I know just how to cheer Kathryn up."
"And now, after that stunning performance from Megan, we have a surprise performance. Singing 'see the sun' it's Commander Chakotay," Neelix announced.
"Before I start singing I just want to say that this song is for a certain female member of the crew who has lost a very special person in her life.

At this point Janeway got up from her table and went and stood right in front of the stage with tears starting to fall down her face.

Chakotay went to the edge of the stage and put his hands on Janeway's hips lifting her up to the stage. Tears were still rapidly falling from her eyes so Chakotay wiped them away with gentle fingers. It was about a second later that she was in his arms sobbing onto his chest.
"Thank you," just managed to escape Janeway's lips.
"You'll see the sun again," was all Chakotay said in return.
