All seniors at East High are on their lunch break. People decided to stay back in classrooms and work, or go down for lunch and talk with friends. Sharpay Evans is sitting down with her brother Ryan, but she's not like herself today. Instead, she's sad. She's been like this all day because another one of her boyfriends broke up with her prior.
"Why did he break up with ME? DOES HE KNOW THAT I'M THE BEST GIRL HE COULD'VE EVER HAD?!"
"He does now, Shar."
Sharpay grabbed a tissue and blew into it as lots of tears came from her eyes. It seemed like Sharpay's love life was dead after this. But Ryan had an idea up his sleeve. He could set Sharpay up with Zeke!
"I'll never find out if I don't try, so let's give it a shot."
"Sharpay?"
"...Yeah?"
"I think I know who could be the perfect person for you."
Sharpay's whole aura changed from sad to a mix of intrigued, curious, and happy.
"...Huh? Who?"
"Zeke! He's had a crush on you for 3 years, so why not test the waters and see if he's the one?"
"But I thought that the last-"
"Sharpay. Just do it. You'll never know if you don't try."
She looked at Zeke and he looked back, surprisingly. He made heart eyes, while she made hesitant eyes.
It's the end of the day! And everyone was flooding the halls of East High, trying to get out. Sharpay was at her locker, getting her things. She closed it and BOOM, Zeke was leaning on one of the other lockers.
"Hey, Sharpay!"
"Hi, Zeke…"
"I was wondering if you want some of my cookies! You know I always offer you some whenever I can!"
"I do this time. And I do want something else."
"And what is that something else?"
"To date you."
Zeke froze instantly. Sharpay, his crush, finally wanted to date him?
"You want to date me?"
"Yes…"
Zeke didn't even know how to react. He just smiled.
"So we're dating?"
"As of now, yes. Now, can you give me the cookies so I can go home?"
Zeke handed Sharpay the box of cookies and moved so the girl could leave. As she was walking away, Zeke started to celebrate his victory in winning Sharpay over.
"Finally, she likes me!"
Zeke went to his locker and unlocked it quickly. He grabbed his stuff and closed it before leaving for the day, happy with the way school ended for him today.
Sharpay arrived home and went to her room. She went to her computer and checked some stuff. As she checked her emails, she saw that she had a new message from someone.
"Zeke here! Uh, I forgot to ask earlier, but what's your number?"
"How did you get my email, Zeke?"
"Ryan gave it to me. Anyway, can I get your number or?"
Sharpay typed her number in and sent it.
"Alright. Thanks!"
As soon as she read that message, she received another one on her phone, from an unknown number.
"Save my number! This is Zeke!"
"This is going to be a long week…"
Hi guys…I know, I KNOW! It's been months and I disappeared without a trace. But now, I'm back with Zekepay! Finally, writers' block on HSM-related stuff has gotten over me. So, just to start small, I'll be working on this story! It'll be at least under a thousand words for each chapter. It won't be updated frequently, since I'm working on stuff that's located on.
