The summary and says it all guys.

Oh I forgot to mention this, I did a couple of things to make the Aaron in this story included.

I hope guys like this one.

I was debating weather or not this was a good idea, then I thought, 'Eh, I'll let the readers decide.' Depending on what you guys think, I'll continue this story.

Now without a further ado,

Let's-a go!

Beanbean Borderland, Stardust Fields...

Looking down, we see a young adult laying on the ground, humming a tune while looking up at the stars.

This is this story's Aaron. He's around twenty-two, you know what they look like, but this one has on a black T-shirt, a grey jacket, black jeans and and some black sneakers with white laces. This Aaron lives in the Beanbean Kingdom, the neighboring kingdom of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Sure the Beanbean Kingdom's great and all, but sometimes he wishes for some excitement in his life.

Out of nowhere his thoughts were interrupted by a loud

*BOOM!*

He got up and looked around and looking up he saw some kind of explosion. Then a second later, Koopas started raining from the sky.

"What on Earth?" he said confused. Then, he saw two more things fall from the sky, one red, one green. He couldn't tell what they were. That's when they crash landed next to him, the red to his left, and the green to his right.

He went to the green one and saw that the thing was actually a person. He looked like someone familiar.

"Is that? Nah, couldn't be."

He heard him groan then rushed to help him up. "Are you okay?" He said, making him stand. "Yes, thank you." He replied.

One look at his face was all it took for Aaron to recognize who the person was. Green hat, overalls, mustache that doesn't match the hair color, it was obvious!

"Hey wait a minute, you're one of the Mario Bros! Luigi, right?" "Why yes I am. It's-a nice to meet you." He shook his hand

What do you know, this has got to be the first time Luigi hasn't been forgotten or unrecognized. At least I think so.

"I've heard rumors, but didn't think they were true! You and Mario are known everywhere! I didn't think that this would best day of my life."

Luigi rubbed the back of his head and chuckled. Then he remembered something.

"Mario!" he called out. He then turned to Aaron. "You haven't seen my bro around here, have you?" "I think that's him." Aaron pointed to two legs sticking out of the ground. The two rushed to Mario. Each grabbed one of his legs and yanked him out of the ground, only for him to fall on Luigi and push him in the ground.

"Uh, Mario right? The Mario?" "That's me." "Is today my birthday or what?" Aaron said to himself. He then remembered Luigi. "Uh, Mario. You're standing on your brother." "Hm?" He looked down, saw Luigi's hat, then moved out of the way allowing Luigi to jump out of the ground.

"I don't think I properly introduced myself yet." He said as both brothers turned to him, "My name's Aaron. I live in the Beanbean Kingdom on the other side of the border." He pointed to the big, wide, stone wall that goes on for miles. "I like to come to this side of the border because you see more stars here than the other side. The Border Bros don't mind. Now it's your turn. I know who you two are: The Jump and Hammer Kings who saved Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom countless times and fought a draconic turtle named Bowser. It's an honor to meet you two." "We were just doing our job." Mario said. "Now could you answer this question for me? What are the Superstars of the Mushroom Kingdom doing here anyway?"

The Bros looked at each other then told Aaron the entire story.

Apparently, the Goodwill Ambassador of the Beanbean Kingdom, Lady Lima, and her assistant came to the Mushroom Kingdom to give the princess a gift from Queen Bean, the ruler of the Beanbean Kingdom. Turns out, it was all a trick! It was just an evil witch named Cackletta disguised as Lady Lima. She and her assistant Fawful swiped Peach's voice and replaced it with an explosive vocabulary. Now anytime she opens her mouth, literal word bombs come out. Bowser reluctantly agreed to help out because if he kidnapped Peach in this state, she'd wreck his castle. Bowser's new ride, the Koopa Cruiser, took flight with him, the Bros, and his minions. Yet Cackletta showed up and ordered Fawful to shoot the Cruiser out of the sky.

That explains the explosion from earlier.

Now that he's caught up, Aaron said, "Cackletta and Fawful? They sound familiar. I'm sure it'll come to me later. So you two need to get into the Beanbean Kingdom and find them?" They nodded. "Okay, follow me. I'll take you two there."

The two followed Aaron to a bridge that led into the border wall. In there, were two Hammer Bros who were the guards of the border: The Border Bros.

"Hey, you two." Aaron said to them. "Hey, Aaron!" they greeted. Then they noticed the Mario Bros. "Well, well! Talk about a nice surprise! It looks like the famous Mario Bros have arrived!" One of them said. "Man! That really brings back some memories, doesn't it? Good times...Good times." The other said, "Say A-man, why are the brothers M here? They off on a journey?" "Yep. They need to get in the Beanbean Kingdom. It's urgent." "Oh, so you probably want us to let you pass, huh?" The Italians nodded. "Yeah, well, I'm sure you guys know this is the border of the Mushroom Kingdom." "Of course. I cross this border all the time." Aaron said. "Right, it's the border. Aaron you're okay, but since we're border security, we can't let the Bros in...until they do some jumping worthy of the Mario Bros name!"

"You two are okay with this right?" "Mhm./Oh yeah." They answered Aaron. "Okay then."

Aaron moved to the side as the Border Bros tested the Mario Bros jumping using a striped rope. After about a minute of impressive jumping, they passed the trial.

"Man! Very cool! That was some incredible jumping!" One of the Border Bros said.

Behind Aaron was a flag and a poster of one of the old Mario games. The flag raised to the top of the pole as mini fireworks went off next to it.

"Let's roll guys." Aaron said, "This way to the Beanbean Kingdom." The three went though the exit and continued their journey. Aaron went ahead, but the Bros were stopped by one of the Border Bros who said to them, "Since we've been on duty, you two are the first people to cross our border, well, besides Aaron. We've gotta commemorate this occasion by giving you this!" He gave the Bros a map. "As long as you have a map, you'll feel safer in foreign lands right?" After saying goodbye, the Bros went back to Aaron who was waiting in front of three rows of spikes.

There was a sign next to him that he read out loud, "'Recent studies shows that the Spiky Stardust Defense System [SSDS] can be jumped! Such a defense gap is appalling! Improvements are demanded to prevent an increase in intruders!' Here's an improvement: How about not telling us how to bypass the defense system?" The three went over the spikes without issue. After that, there was another two rows of easy-to-jump-over spikes.

After that, they followed Aaron as he said, "It's just over this pass. Wait, what's that in the cannon?"

Up ahead was a cannon that the border patrol used on this side of the Stardust Fields, but it was bought off by someone. There's something sticking out of it though. Mario realized what it was. "Bowser?" He went to the cannon and jumped on it a few times then got off. The cannon turned upside-down and said Koopa King popped out from the top. "Bowser!" The brothers said. "That's Bowser? Huh, I was expecting more." Aaron said.

Bowser seeing the Bros said, "Hey! Mario! Great timing! I could use a hand here! I'm kind of...stuck." Aaron whispered a joke about this situation to the Bros making them laugh. "Hey! Glasses! Keep your diet jokes to yourself! They're not funny! Just get me out of here!" "Hmm, how exactly?" Mario said.

"Nyeck nyeck nyeck!"

Showing up was the King of the Stardust Fields, Tolstar.

Tolstar's a large, light-green Spike with a yellow belly, orange lips, pink hair, and small bat-like wings that are capable of helping him fly, unlike regular Spikes. He also has a big pink star on his belly and a small yellow one on his forehead.

"Why, could it be Bowser, the great Koopa King, has fallen into my cannon?! Nyeck! How amusing!" he said "Hello again, Tolstar." Aaron said. "You know this chump!?" Bowser said. "I am Tolstar, the great and famed king of Stardust Fields! I've heard tales of you, but you aren't very impressive in person!" "I agree." "Hey!" "Well do you want me to be honest or be a liar, Koopa King?" Aaron said making Bowser shut up.

" 'Scuse-a me, me but could you let Bowser go?" Mario jumped in. "Nyeck nyeck! If you want me to get him out of there, you people, you must pay in coins! I will set him free... for ALL of your coins! And I'll even keep this most embarrassing incident a secret!" "Wh-What?! THAT'S NOT FAIR!" Bowser said. He didn't want people remembering him for this. "That's Tolstar for ya. He's never fair." Aaron said.

He turned to the brothers and said, "Sorry to ask this, but how much you guys got on you? I left all my coinage at home." Mario said to Tolstar, "How about this, we'll give you all one hundred-seventeen of our coins. Then will you let Bowser go?" "Really?"

Mario threw a bag that had all of the coins that the Bros had to Tolstar. After checking the coins, he said, "Nyeck nyeck nyeeeck! Why, these are Mushroom Kingdom coins, aren't they?" "Yes? Is there a problem?" "This is the Beanbean Kingdom, guys. Different currency." Aaron pulled out a calculator and said while typing, "Our exchange rate's a little out of whack. You see, one hundred-seventeen Mushroom coins is the same as only ten Beanbean coins at today's exchange rate." "Only ten?!" the Bros said.

"Sorry, but for only ten coins I can't guarantee this secret won't slip out! Nyeck nyeck!" Tolstar laughed. "...Yes, that means I'll need an additional 100 Beanbean coins! Go find them in Stardust Fields and bring them back to me! Then I'll help your Koopa King!"

He stomped on the ground and a bridge appeared behind the three. They looked at each other then followed the path to get more coins.

"Sorry if this is making a dent in your journey, guys." Aaron said. "It's okay Aaron." Luigi said. "Yeah, this happens more than you think." Mario followed. "Huh, I never thought I'd actually get words of assurance from the Mario Bros. Ah, best day ever." Aaron's smile was gone when, "Oh boy, Fighter Flies."

Fighter Flies are orange bugs with blue hands, pink feet, pink antennae, small wings, and have large green squinting eyelids. They're about the size of a Goomba.

Aaron jumped and stomped twice one the bugs, K.O.'ing it in the process.

"Nice jumping." Mario praised Aaron. "Oh, it's nothing. These guys always show up in the Fields. Only takes one or two jump attacks to K.O. these guys. They're pushovers."

Aaron was right. The brothers literally jumped in and helped out taking out Fighter Fly by Fighter Fly. They were indeed pushovers. Continuing the side quest, they hit every block hovering in the air and collected coins from all of them.

They kept going until they saw a star-shaped panel in the ground. Aaron knew what it was though. The panel opened up, and rising from it were three Toads who were a part of the border patrol.

These were the Starshade Trio: General Starshade, Sergeant Starshade, and Lieutenant Starshade. They all wear sunglasses and big grins on their faces. The only thing different about them was the color of their stars, shirts, and wrist bands. The General wore red, the Sergeant wore green, and the Lieutenant wore black.

Right now, the Trio was stacked on top of each other. General was on top of Sergeant, and Sergeant was on top of Lieutenant. "Sergeant! Lieutenant! The shooting stars we witnessed were an alien bombardment!...Perhaps!"

Aaron smirked and whispered something to the Bros and went along with it.

"In the name of the Starshade Trio, we will find the alien scum! They will rue the day!" General finished.

After he finished, Mario and Luigi jumped on Aaron's head in the same color order as the Starshade Trio. This isn't hurting him at all, trust me.

The Lieutenant pulled out a telescope, saw Aaron, and said, "General! Sarge! I have confirmed the presence of a suspicious unknown entity! Something of a black color, as black as coal!"

Sergeant pulled out his telescope as Aaron moved the three to the right. "I have visual on the unknown lifeforms! There's no black, but there's a vivid green color that pierces the eye!" The Bros chuckled a bit at this. Aaron then moved the three of them to the left as the General pulled out his telescope. "Hmm, yes! Sighting confirmed! However, I see not black, nor green, but red!"

All three of them snickered.

"Urgent! Pursue additional visual contact immediately!"

Aaron moved so that the three were facing the Starshade Trio and were looking dead at each other. The Trio moved to the left, and they mimicked them. They moved to the right, then quickly to the left, right, then back to the middle. Aaron moved them closer and Mario copied every one of General Starshade's movements and expressions. After that, they all held their arms out. The Trio did some kind of spin move, and only Mario copied them, then ended up crashing into the Trio, making everyone fall.

The Trio finally saw who the 'alien scum' was and said one by one, "Oh! Incredible! It is none other than Mario from the Mushroom Kingdom!" "Luigi sighting confirmed!" "I have eyes on Aaron from the Beanbean Kingdom!" "Lieutenant! Sergeant! Change of mission objective! Obtain Mario Brothers' autographs, STAT!"

One cleanup and explanation later...

"Hm...I see...Incredible! To think...Princess Peach's lovely voice in the hands of some vile enemy!" Lieutenant said, "Her voice must be recovered, no matter what it takes! Priority one, Sergeant and Lieutenant Starshade! We must provide as much field support as we can!" General said. "Very well! We the Starshade Trio will teach you the secrets of Trio Action!"

"Trio Action?" The brothers asked. "Trio Action's any kind of move that uses three people to work it." Aaron explained.

"Aaron! Master Mario! Master Luigi! Special Trio Action training shall commence immediately!" said Sergeant, "Are you ready to undergo training?"

The three looked at each other, then said yes. They could probably use it to gather more coins.

Changing the scene to some ledges...

Sergeant spoke up, "When you wish to jump up to a high ledge, Luigi can jump on top of Aaron and Mario to perform the High Jump. Like so." He climbed on top of Lieutenant, and he jumped on top of General, and the three High Jumped on top of the ledge to the right. "See? You can jump higher than you can on your own! Indeed, it's jumping synergy! Your turn Luigi. Use the High Jump to reach the ledge on the right!"

Luigi jumped on Aaron then Aaron jumped on Mario then the three used the High Jump and got on top of the ledge.

"Excellent work, men!" "If you use the High Jump, you can climb ledges that you could never climb alone!" Lieutenant said. "Next, I'm going to show you another type of jump!" General said. "Mario can jump on top of Luigi and Aaron to preform the Spin Jump." The Trio climbed on top of each other in the order they were in before training. "Like this!" The three spun around and glided across a gap to the right. "It is possible to use the Spin Jump to jump across wide valleys and dangerous pits! Go ahead, Mario. Use the Spin Jump to reach the ledge to the right!"

The three stacked each other in the same color order and spun across the gap.

"Excellent!" "There are more actions that only the three of you can perform!" Lieutenant said, "Training complete!"

Changing back the scene...

"Excellent! Now, the proving grounds!" said the General, "The time has come to show the fruits of your training! You must use the High Jump and Spin Jump we just taught you..." He pointed to a flag on a cliff way above them. "To reach the flag way up there! Good luck, soldiers!"

With that being said, the three used their new moves and managed to reach the flag. "That was easy." Mario said.

"Hmm...Incredible! Master Mario! Master Luigi! Aaron! You three truly are a super team! I salute you!" Lieutenant said. "You have perfectly mastered the High Jump and Spin Jump!" Sergeant said. The Starshade Trio stacked back on top of each other on the panel, and General said, "Aaron! You aid the Mario brothers to the Beabean Kingdom!"

"You got it General." he said.

"Master Mario! Master Luigi! May your mission be successful! Good luck out there!" "MOVE OUT!" The Trio said as they descended back into the ground.

It took a while, but the three collected as much coins as they could from blocks and K.O.'ing Fighter Flies and Bill Blasters, but they managed to get back to Tolstar with a total of,

"One hundred eight-nine coins. Here you go." Mario said. "Nyeck! Took you long enough! But well done! I'll just be taking those coins now!" He said taking the coins. "A deal's a deal Tolstar, let Bowser go." Luigi said. "Yeah, let me outta here!" "Huh? You want out? You want me to help you?"

"Who said I'd do that?"

"What?!" Everyone said. "GRAGH! Swindler!" Bowser fumed.

Tolstar laughed and flew to the left of the Bros and Aaron.

"Nyeck nyeck! You're not in the Mushroom Kingdom anymore! Outsiders begone!"

"Hey! You can't talk to these two like that!" Aaron exclaimed.

Play the Battle Theme 'Come on, Again! DX' here.

Aaron jumped on Tolstar's head twice then let the Bros have their turn jumping.

"Hmph! Not bad. Not bad at all! But how about THIS!?"

Unlike most Spikes, he pulled out spiked balls and throw them at the three. They barely dodged them.

"Nyeck nyeck! Isn't that a nasty attack? Even watching my hand I throw with won't help you!" "We'll see about that!" Mario said.

"Guys! Remembered the Trio Actions from earlier? I say we use them here. Listen to this!" Aaron whispered into their ears what they could do with the moves they learned. They thought it was a great idea.

"Let's-a go!" Mario and Luigi jumped on Aaron's head and he threw the Bros in the air. They spun forward then Aaron jumped under Luigi, grabs him, and the three did a Spin Jump, with a huge flip at the end, and slammed down onto Tolstar!

"I'm calling that one the Splash Move! Ready Luigi?" "Let's-a go!"

Luigi and Aaron leaped onto Mario, who throwed them in the air. When the two were right above him, Mario leaps into the air to grabs Aaron's legs. The three then do a flip and Luigi slams into Tolstar with his hands!

"Calling that one the Bounce Move!"

Tolstar wasn't ready for that and was shortly K.O.'ed after.

Cut the music!

"That was phenomenal!" Aaron said with the Bros agreeing.

"You, sir, have been griping far too loudly for some time!" The three turned to see Tolstar get bumped to the other side of the cannon. Turns out it was Sergeant Starshade who knocked him to the other side.

With looking at the ammunition, he turned the cannon at Tolstar and lit the fuse. "Sarge, wait!" The three said. Sergeant wasn't listening for some reason. When the fuse was lit, he went back into the panel in the ground.

"Graaaaaaargh! M-MARIO! Green 'Stache!"

Come on Bowser, you could at least remember Luigi's name.

"You gotta get Princess Peach's voice back! It's all up to you!"

The cannon then shot Bowser at Tolstar and the two went flying.

After a second, Aaron said, "Well, you heard the guy. We gotta get going." The three Spin Jumped over the gap and went across the bridge to a cave. "This cave's the entrance to Hoohoo Village, on the other side of the village, you'll find Beanbean Castle. That's where Cackletta's likely to be going. I guess this is where we part ways."

The Bros looked at each other Aaron, then nodded. "How 'bout you come with us, Aaron?" Aaron blinked twice then said, "Wait, really?" "You're clearly experience, know this kingdom like the back of your hand, and you came up with those new attacks for us to use in battle. Of course you can come."

Aaron looked at the two and nodded, "You know what? I'm in!"

The three said in order as they went in the cave, "Let's-a go!" "Okey Dokey!" "Right behind you!"
