Sara's breathing was heavy when she ran around the corner. Sweat dripping from her forehead, leaking down her nose. Sara clenched her teeth, her legs were burning, but she needed to go a little faster. She never felt so much adrenaline going trough her then on this very moment. She never left the criminal she was chasing out of her sight. Another corner and then a straight line, she was gaining up on him. Soon she will get him.

No way Sara would be giving up anytime soon, not when he was so close. Sara's colleagues had already giving up. These oldtimers weren't suited for this job anymore. Their glory was long gone. Their belly's too full with fat and sugars. No one expected these men to be on the streets again, but we are in crisis, there aren't enough cops left.

Determination alternates with uncertainty inside Sara's mind. Just another corner and then the street will come to a dead end. The criminal won't be able to get away. But she also realized this could be the moment she was about to use her gun for the first time in her life. He had a knife, he just killed someone with it without any remorse. He would use it against her if that was his only way out.

She never had to use her gun before, but than again she had hardly been on the streets. She was a rookie, just finished with her shortened police education. Now she was forced to go out on the streets inexperienced.

She didn't get any time to think it over. Her hartbeat went up when she ran around the last corner. Her hand rested on her gun she wore on her right hip. Knowing the criminal could be waiting for her around the corner, ready to grab it if needed. She wouldn't let him harm her, not before she would shoot him to pieces.

She heard the foodsteps of the criminal slowing down, he found out it was a dead end. Sara followed, leaping around the corner, holding her breath. The adrenaline made her sharp as ever, focused on the subject in front of her. She hardly noticed her surroundings. Strangly she saw the figure in front of her turn into a haze. Almost like if he was falling into pieces. She stumbled for a second on a height difference in the surface she walked on. But she wouldn't allow herself to fall. For a moment her gaze left the figure in front of her, but when she looked up again he was still there and more clear. He was standing still.

Her presents made him turn around. She was fully focused on him, not aware of her surroundings that had suddenly changed. He was different then she remembered him, wasn't this someone else? But she haven't seen him up close until now. His knife was the first thing she saw, blinking in the faint light in his hands.

So it must be him, who else would be running around with a knife. She didn't hesitate anymore and drew her weapon. "Drop the knife, or I will shoot you down!" The man now standing in front of her, looked larger then expected. His face masked, mysterious. Still the expression in his eyes looked surprised. Like he didn't know she was chasing him. She took a closer look at this figure. He was dressed up like a ninja figure, only one of his eyes was visible, the other one hidden behind a cloth around his head. White or light grey hair, standing straight up. Held in place by a headband with some logo on it, a gang sign perhaps? He didn't move, he didn't drop the knife either. He just stared. Not scared, but more like the look you give someone when they try to figure out if they know you from something or somewhere.

Sara repeated: "Drop the knife or I will shoot you, drop it now!"

"Who are you?" The man asked her, his voice calm. He looked nothing like the panicking boy she pictured him before. Sara didn't respond to his question. Surely he must recognize her as a police officer in her uniform.

"Let's talk." He suggested. She knew she was allowed to shoot him at this point, she warned him twice and he could attack her any moment with the knife in his hand. He was only a few feet away from her. She could hardly miss him, but he could also reach her and stab her before she could shoot him.

She didn't want to deny him this simple request, but first he needed to get rit of that knife. "Put the knife down and we can talk!" Sara requested. Although the man put the knife away, he was not dropping it to the floor. Sara noticed it had no use anyway. In his pouch were he put the knife there were more knifes stored. But at least she could shoot him before he could reach for it. "Put your hands up, one tiny movement towards that pouch and you're done for!"

"Alright." He said, slightly amused if she wasn't mistaken. "Who are you? And how did you get here?" He asked.

"I chased you here." Sara didn't feel like answering the first question. She had one job only and answering his questions wasn't one of them. She did however noticed her surroundings for the first time. Until now she had full focus on this man and his knife. It was so strange.. there was no street anymore. Did she lost it? Cubes all over the place, endlessly. But she didn't try to show the man she lost it. He was still here, he was dangerous, a murderer.

"Was I being chased?" He replied. He was playing games with her. And yet he seemed to be confused. He was deeply thinking seeing his frowning face.

"You are under arrest for murder. Drop to your knees! This is my last warning!" He was dangerous, she needed to shoot him if he didn't listen. Even though she didn't want to shoot anyone. But he was a murderer. And he could kill her next.

Kakashi was confused, were did this woman suddenly come from? He didn't recognize her clothes, nor the clan logo on her upper arm. But he was worried about the fact that she knew to chase him.. he didn't even noticed. How could she have chased him in here? He was practicing his teleportation jutsu and this was the dimension he used for that. He was training alone, he was pretty sure no one was around. But here she is, chased him in his own domain were no one else could chase him. And claiming she's here to arrest him for murder. This women, with hardly any chakra, pointing some device at him which looked harmless. But still, being here, he shouldn't underestimate her. Seeing the sweat on her forehead she must feel pretty stressed at this point. Did she really have so little chakra, or could she hide it that well?

"Which one of my murders?" Kakashi asked, perhaps that will give him a clue why she was here. Perhaps he killed a shinobi from her clan in the past? Was she out for revenge? Wars always ended up messy. It could be something like that. He noticed the handcuffs on her waist. He couldn't wave signs when trapped with those. She seemed to come prepared. He couldn't let her capture him.

Which one? Sara's was astonished. How many did he kill if he needed to ask for which one he was arrested for? He was even more dangerous then she thought. She was hoping her colleagues would come to her aid, but they didn't. Perhaps they couldn't find her in this strange place. She will find out later how she got here. First she needed to arrest him. And it looked like she needed to shoot him to do so.

"Last warning. You are under arrest for murder, drop to your knees and put your arms high up in the air. Any other movement and I will shoot you. If you're not listening, I WILL shoot you!" She knew this was the second last warning already. One to many and she had been very clear. She will have to shoot him next. Why won't he just listen?

"I'm afraid that I can't do that." Kakashi got ready to fight and put his feet in fighting position. Ready do dodge anything she would be throwing at him. Not sure what getting shot meant with the device she was holding. But he could sense very low chakra levels from her and none from this device. Her threat seemed empty, yet she was clearly very serious. Did she even know where she gotten herself into?

This was the sign for Sara, he didn't want to get arrested, he wouldn't cooperate. He made that clear. She aimed her gun lower, on his legs. There was no point in killing him right away. Even as highly stressed as she was now, she could think clearly. She knew to calm herself and her trigger finger. She couldn't squeeze her gun, if she did her bullet would fly a lot higher and chances of killing him when hitting his torso would be high. She didn't want to kill him. Just the legs, arrest him and then give him first aid. Like she was supposed to, like she learned on the police academy.

"BANG!" One shot. Her gun fired the bullet, Sara and the man both startled from the lout noise. Sara never heard her own gun fire without any earplugs. Did she even hit him? He was still standing. A questionable look on his face. He looked down were she aimed, but Sara didn't see anything. Did she miss? She made sure her gun was still pointing towards him. "Drop the knife!" She warned him again. Perhaps he would listen now.

Then she saw it, a dark spot seeping trough his pants. Becoming larger very quickly. Pain in his eyes. Sara hit him lower then she aimed at. It was on the right side of his leg. Right next to his shin. That must hurt like hell. But it wouldn't kill him, she didn't hit any vital parts.

Kakashi looked up, straight at her. This was unexpected. He didn't noticed any rise in her chakra level, yet her attack had been so fast he wasn't able to dodge it. He needed his sharingan for this one. The next attack could be fatal. If she aimed higher he would end up dead.

He still didn't listen, he used his hand to remove the cloth that was hiding half of his face. Revealing his other eye. A big scar covered this side of his face. But it was his eye that was sending shivers down her spine. Strange, a red eye? With a mark in it instead of a pupil? This encounter got stranger by the minute. What kind of man was he? He hardly seem to notice his leg wound. Ignoring it, focusing all attention onto her. She got ready to fire her gun again. Not aiming for his legs anymore, but his torso. He needed to be stopped.

This time Kakashi clearly saw her finger move on the trigger she used to fire this thing. He was gone before the device got fired. A millisecond later a projectile hit the cube that just had been behind him. It bounced off the solid cube leaving a short high pitched sound. He never saw anything like this, it didn't even use any chakra? And yet it was this powerful.

Sara's eyes grew big, were did he go? Did he just disappear? No, she felt a breeze, he was behind her! The next moment the gun was kicked out of her hands and dropped to the floor. He was extremely fast. Before she could turn around she heard a lout breaking sound. He just kicked her gun into pieces with his foot! It was broken, beyond repair. Even the barrel was bent.

"How?" Was the only thing Sara managed to bring out. Shocked. But she didn't get time to recover from her shock. The next moment he swept her feet from under her. Bringing her down hard. Her head landed on the solid floor, she almost got knocked out. A blurry feeling took over her. The man weighted down a foot on her back. He fumbled at her belt and got hold of her handcuffs. Her worst nightmare just became real. A criminal was going to use her own handcuffs against her. His strength was beyond hers. He easily twisted and turned her arms on her back and locked the cuffs around her wrists. She felt helpless, she was done for. Fear got a hold of her.

When the man was done, he got off and got onto one knee in front of her. "That's better." He stated. Sara turned around and managed to get onto her butt, sitting up. Her arms still stuck on her back. "Crap." She sighed. She tried not to show him the fear that slowly took over.

"Let's try again. Let's talk." He didn't seem to be in any hurry at all.

"You're under arrest! Set me loose!" Sara demanded. But the man didn't budge.

"You are in no position to negotiate. You should realize that by now." He took a breath. Like he was relaxing now that he was sure Sara couldn't do anything anymore.

"So, let's start with. Who are you?" He asked her.

"What do you mean? I am a police officer! You don't need to know more. Why? You want to file a complain?" Sara lost her cool and reacted agitated.

"Police officer?" He seemed to be thinking. "I didn't know there was a police force left? What clan are you from? I don't recognize that logo." He pointed at Sara's upper arm.

"Are you serious? Stop playing games with me!" Sara was fed up with this guy. Why would he play this game anyway, he could flee now.

"Fine we'll figure that out later. How did you follow me in here?" The man continued dead seriously.

"I ran after you... you ran away from me. It couldn't be more clear." Sara replied angrily. Why did he needed to torment her further?

"I wasn't running from anyone, I was training, like I said before." He replied. Then he seemed to realize something. "Look around." Sara was surprised by his sudden request. "Do you know this place?" He asked her.

Sara turned her head around. She looked a little bit better this time. Giant cubes all over the place. It was just an immense space with cubes, so strange. Did she follow him into some big warehouse or something? She couldn't remember doing that. But of course stress could do strange things to people. She might have been unaware that she ran into this building.

"I have no idea were we are." Sara admitted. A bit calmed down, but still edgy. He didn't seemed to be willing to hurt her. Otherwise he would have done it by now, but she was too confused to relax at this point. He was still a murderer.

"Hmm." The man seem to carefully pick his next question. "What murder do you accuse me from?"

Sara answered with disbelieve. "The one you just committed. The poor woman." She knew she should give him his rights, that he had the right to remain silent before telling her anything, but at this point she didn't really care about his rights.

"I didn't kill anyone just now, like I said, I was training." He responded.

"You're a murderer." Sara said cold. Sure of herself.

"I can't deny that, but not today." He seemed to have made up his mind. "I don't know who you are and how you got into this dimension, but I think it's something that might be confusing to you at the moment. I think we need some help clearing this up." And then he got back on his feet.

"Dimension?" The situation got stranger and stranger, was he really trying to mess with her this bad? Like she would believe there are other dimensions, like if she would just run into one like that? "Stop playing games with me! I'm not stupid." Sara got angry again, but realizing she was still stuck. "Crap!"

"Whether you like it or not, you are coming with me. There is no surviving in here." The man informed Sara while he pulled her back on her feet.

"I won't do such a thing! Are you kidnapping me?" Sara took a few passes back now she got back on her feet.

Kakashi sighed. "Great now I'm a kidnapper and a murderer?" Kakashi's patience seem to run out when he saw the woman take another step back. "You leave me no choice. I'm sorry for this." Suddenly he rushed at her, punching her high in her stomach. With one breath she passed out, he made sure she landed softly on the floor. Carrying her like this will be easier then fighting her all the way. Besides he was in a rush since he needed medical attention, he was bleeding out. He looked down at his leg, the wound was bleeding severe. She knew to wound him so badly, yet she seemed so weak. Then he looked at the pieces of the device she shot with. This weapon had so much power. He picked up the pieces and put them in his pocket. Perhaps someone else will know what to do with it.

After he bandaged his leg he lifted Sara up and put her over his shoulder. For a brief moment he looked at her from up close. She was sure interesting. Her chakra level was so low, she might as well be near dead. But he knew it was just as high as before, so she must be fine at this point. Her breathing was regular, her hartbeat normal. To be sure, he should let someone check her out as wel.

Then he performed his teleporting jutsu to get out of this dimension and back to the Hidden Leave. The dimension this woman didn't believe in. He had no idea whether she lied to him or told him the truth. Perhaps she got into this mess without realizing it. He hoped she would end up being a friend and not a foe. That would be a shame.
