"Just second in command!" Yelled infuriated Twilight, as she clenched her fists her claws piercing her flesh.
"Yes! Just second in command! You could've killed these two!" Fired back Kouga, the tribes foolish ookami leader.
"I could have killed them? Kouga, I lead these boys to safety! You're the one who went racing off just because you're precious Kagome was near!"
"Just because your second in command doesn't mean you can take the tribe wherever you please!"
The female ookami scoffed, unable to believe what she was hearing. "You were gone! In your absence, that gives me temporary leadership of the tribe. I saved possibly the whole tribe!" She spat, pushing her jaw length icy blue bangs out of her navy blue optics.
"Well, you should know to follow when my mates presence is near!"
"Mate! Kagome! Kouga, she doesn't even like you! As a friend, maybe, but her heart belongs to that worthless hanyou InuYasha!" She fired, folding her arms across her chest.
Kouga opened his mouth to protest, but nothing but scrambled words came out. Twilight smirked, knowing she had made her point. "Finally, you're at a loss for words. I've made my point. Now if you'll excuse me…" She trailed off, turning around. Kouga shook the shock from her last comment off.
"Where are you going? You can't just leave!" Kouga yelled after her.
"I most certainly can and I most certainly will! Good Bye, Kouga." She said, with a simply wave of her hand.
Ginta and Hakkaku exchanged worried glances, as Twilight made her exit. Kiba, Twilight's wolf, followed, tugging on her kimono. Twilight knelt down by his side, scratching his ears. "I'll be back." She whispered, before standing up and walking outside the den.
