This is just a little test. Um, I don't know if I should make a full fic of this one though, but I'll update some random scenarios ig?

But it's basically: Tenma is in Class E. And after the events of Assassination Classroom, he joins Raimon. I'm trying out a writing style and this is my first time writing something like this haha- Constructive Criticism is welcomed!

I might post one or two chaps (eps of AC with Tenma in it ofc) and while I'm at it, I'm going to contemplate whether to make this as a full fic :'D (even tho I thought of a lore already,,,)

Warning: OOC, WEAPON USE, ETC.

This is just a draft and frankly I have a lot of ideas with this fic especially with Tenma's personality but my indecisive self is having some crisis so,,, uh have this I guess? Haha. Also warning, this is the edited version (just fixed some typos and some phrases etc.), the unedited ver is in wattpad.

EDIT (6/15/2022) : I checked and saw A LOT of errors,,, and uh yeah don't mind me trying to fix this TwT

Tenma lets out a strangled sigh he didn't realize he was holding until the samurai assassin, Grip, who was chanting multiple "Hm "'s, is tied up.

"I trusted your attitude as a pro... and that's why I was on guard." Karma's last sentence surprised everyone, "Karma-kun has changed," Tenma mumbles with a proud smile.

"Karma-kun had never known great defeat," Everyone-aside from Karma, who continues to look at the tied up assassin with a strange glint in his eyes, but not that anyone noticed-either turned their heads or looked down at the sphere shaped Koro-sensei who spoke and is on Nagisa's hands. "but those midterm exams taught him all too well. Losers are people just like you who live their lives thinking about all sorts of things. Once you realized that, you inevitably find you can no longer make light of your opponent on the battlefield. You can see that your foe is thinking like you, trying hard like you. You come to see your abilities, their circumstances. Someone who can be respectfully wary of their opponent... That person has no chinks on the battlefield."

And that made everyone smile, making soft noises of acknowledgment. Grip hums lowly, akin to a sigh. "You're nothing to sneeze at, young warrior, hm." He began, directed to Karma. I may have lost but I enjoyed our time togeth—"

"What are you talking about?" Karma responded, almost singingly. Everyone turns to look at Karma, who is holding two bottles of paste. One orange and one green. "The fun's just beginning!" He declares with a smile making Tenma to shudder and feel trepidation growing in his stomach.

"Hm...?" The assassin stares at Karma with perplexity painted his face, "What the hell is that, hm?" He questioned everyone's thoughts, some were looking at Karma in curiosity while some feels the same way Tenma feels.

Karma happily replies, "Wassabi and mustard. I'm going to put them in your nose-trills." Everyone blanched, making noises of horror and terror while the assassin made a noise of surprise and a little fear. Then, Karma starts to do his... masterpiece as he spoke about the things he will do to him with a cheery and laid-back tone while everyone watches him, cringing at Grip's muffled noises that is overlapped by the soft sounds of chains.

Tenma deadpans a little before huddling closer to the person close to him, who is Sugaya, when he sees the 'goods' that Karma brought and has now laid out on the floor, tugging on the fabric of his shirt, the latter huddling closer to him as well.

"Done and done!" Karma announces as he rests his cheek over his palm, his elbow resting on his leg, looking at the now fully restraint Grip as if he was his artwork that he had finished with a proud look on his face. "Okay, buddy, hm..." Karma whispered, although it is loud enough to hear. "Now's the time to show your willpower as a pro, hm." And with that, he inserted the mustard bottle's opening into the helpless Grip's nosetrills and begins to squeeze the bottle making the older to wheeze in pain before coughing and sob dryly.

"Koro-sensei, Karma hasn't really changed all that much, has he?" Nagisa questions at the equally horrified Koro-sensei.. "No, he hasn't. I'm concerned for his future." Koro-sensei bluntly replied.

"Who wouldn't," Tenma chimes in, cringing at the background noises of the assassin's screams of pain and at the sight of Karma's sadistic grin. His statement earned a few nods of agreement as if to say, "Touche."

"What the hell did you bring, anyway?" Terasaka was the first to get out from being stunned at the scene, putting back the small purple, skeleton designed bag into the backpack. "Hey, let's keep goin'. Keep draggin' our feet and they'll find us." Thanks to that, everyone managed to recover from the shock, even just a little bit from a few, and they nodded in affirmative.

"Okay, everyone, the terrace is upstairs." Ritsu, from Kayano's phone, announces as everyone is now climbing up the stairs towards the sixth floor. She is wearing an orange dress with a red ribbon tied to her waist. Everyone stopped their walking, mostly everyone is leaning against the wall while Okano and Hayami huddles to where Kayano is, looking down on her phone to look at Ritsu.

"The bar floor. Could be tricky," Hayami states out loud. "Yes. There's a stairway to the VIP floor inside a lounge here." Ritsu said as the screen of Kayano's phone changed into a black and green map of the building. "The back entrance is locked, we'll have to come in through the lounge to unlock it."

"Now we're flying by the seat of our pants." Okano mumbles. "We really stand out, you guys." Isogai informed, adjusting the arm of Karasuma over his shoulder so that he wouldn't fall. "Let's have the teachers hide here," Kataoka spoke, as the boys looks up to see her with the rest of the girls. "We'll sneak into the lounge and unlock the back entrance." She smiled. "We girls won't look suspicious alone in a place like this." A murmur of agreement came from the girls.

"That is true, since you girls look way more outgoing, but," Tenma voices his thoughts, trailing off making Karasuma to finish it. "It's girls going alone that makes it dangerous."

"Oh!" Karma's bottom side of his fist collides with his palm, "In that case..." He smiles then averts his attention to something else. Or more like, someone else. Everyone looks at him with questioning looks for a second before following his gaze, which landed on Nagisa.

Everyone was silent, until a sense of understanding came through them. Nagisa, who had noticed the stares looks at each and everyone one of them with a nervous smile. "Huh?"

"Oh, don't worry, Nagisa-chan~! Tenma-chan's with you in this!" Karma says in both in a teasing tone and a gleeful one as he now holds up a spray bottle.

"Ha?" Tenma smiles nervously.

"C'mon, be a man! Now go in front and protect us, Nagisa-kun, Tenma-kun!" Fuwa whispers, urging the two.

"I can't! I can't be out in front!" Nagisa whispered hastily. "I'm good. The wall is very pretty, oh wow," Tenma laughs a little, slowly stepping away from the girls that is not at the direction of the wall but at the direction of the glass doors, however, he was grabbed by the arm by the grinning Okano.

"Give it up," Hayami said lowly with a hint of teasing in her tone, "Go on!" Yada giggles as Fuwa gently grabs Nagisa's wrist and pulls him in front of her, at the same time Okano drags Tenma in front beside Nagisa.

Nagisa shyly cups his hands below him, looking down with an embarrassed blush while Tenma weakly glared at the unfazed girls he calls spawns of satans in the class. Actually, no, he shouldn't blame this on the girls, that's really mean of him, he should blame Karma.

Tenma sweatdropped at the mental image of Karma maniacally smiling of glee and amusement.

Nagisa is dressed in a black and pink off-shoulder top, a checkered skirt with black lines on a red base and pink laces, and thigh-high black socks. His pigtails are adorned with adorable pink ribbons.

Tenma is dressed in a dirty white long sleeved blouse accompanied with a blue pinafore skirt with a white ribbon tied to his waist and a grey-ish ribbon on his collar. Like Nagisa, he too wore thigh-high socks, but it's white. His usual hair that naturally stays up is now down in a wolf cut hairstyle, the usual swirls on the sides of his hair is down as well, although it was drooping (it looks sad-) because of the water that Karma had sprayed on his hair.

Ever since they swam at the makeshift pool Koro-sensei made for him, Karma has taken a liking to tease him because of how his hair falls down when it's wet (everyone was a little shocked at first because they couldn't recognize Tenma when they first saw him with his hair down and they too thought he was a girl), and that's why he occasionally brings a spray bottle filled with water. Nagisa gave him a pat on the shoulder, sympathizing with him and now Tenma knows how he feels when he was often mistaken as a girl.

("But what if his hair dries up?" Sugaya asked, poking at the brown wet locks. "Gravity doesn't seem to listen to Tenma's hair when it dries up." He chuckled, pulling his hand back as Tenma groaned a little. The girls glances to each other, looking a little troubled. "Then I guess we have to make this operation quick." Kataoka replied, crossing her arms.

"No need, I have hairspray here." Karma nonchalantly announces, holding up a black hair spray bottle causing Tenma to look at him incredulously. How is he so prepared? Actually no, better question is— "Wait a minute, why do you have that in the first place?!" He screeched, pointing at him accusingly.

"Yada-san asked me to bring one," Karma shrugs as everyone turns to look at the sheepish girl. "I was gonna use it for my hair and maybe to style up Bitch-sensei's," Yada admitted with a smile but then she faltered. "Then this happened..."

The remaining E-Class students looks down, some had solemn expression while some were nervous. Tenma chewed the bottom of his lip. One moment they were all doing assassination attempts on their octopus teacher, which resulted to a fail. Then they all walked back to the resort, upset that they failed and half of them are unusually exhausted which Tenma had noticed but didn't pay attention to because he, too, was unusually tired which he believes was due from the failed assassination attempt.

But then Nakamura passes out on Nagisa and then Okajima had a severe nosebleed and at that point half of the class collapses, having the same symptoms as Nakamura. Everyone was in a panic, and thankfully, Karasuma-sensei arrived just in time to see what was happening.

Then, Karasuma-sensei received a phone call from a private number. The caller admitted that he was the one behind the students' illness and revealed that it was an artificial virus that had cause it.

It is contagious and would kill them within a week if not treated; what's worse is that there is no hospital on the island. The mysterious caller revealed that they have the only antidote available. He then offered a trade.

It is to have three smallest students to bring Koro-sensei on the top floor of the hotel within the next hour.

["You mean these three squirts?!" Terasaka exclaims in disbelief slamming both of his fists down on Kayano and Nagisa's heads, but not hard enough to actually hurt them before also going to Tenma and gave a smack from behind his head, also making sure to be careful not to hurt him that much. "We'd just sendin' him hostages!"]

Any tardiness or a contact to the outside world will lead the caller to destroy the antidote. After creating a plan thanks to Koro-sensei and Ritsu, the healthy students and teachers sets off to the hotel to get the antidote while Takebayashi and Okuda stays to take care of the bedridden ill students.

"Cheer up, students!" Came Koro-sensei's exclaim, "No need to dwell right now, we will get through this." Everyone smiled, even though just a little, at his statement. "Yeah," Tenma voices, smiling determinedly, "things will work out somehow.")

"Why..." Nagisa helplessly whispered, "This is ridiculous," Tenma whined, covering his face with the palms of his hands.

"It's all part of the plan!" Fuwa grins in glee. "Really?" Nagisa deadpans a little. "Yes, really!" Ritsu giggles over the phone that the grinning Kayano is holding up making the cross-dressed males to look at their digital classmate as they both exclaimed, "Not you, too!"

Hayami hums, turning her gaze away from the group then places her pointer finger and thumb under chin in a thinking gesture.

Tenma whines even more, imaginary tears running down his face as Nagisa yells in protest, "But that's not what we're looking for!"

Then, the group continues on with what they are tasked to. As they were walking, Tenma grumbles a little as he pulls down the skirt as if it would make it even more longer which he had hoped but to no avail. He groaned, "Where did you girls got these clothes, anyway?"

"Cast off beside the outdoor pool." Hayami replies nonchalantly making Tenma and Nagisa to sweatdrop and grimace a little.

'So this was worn by someone else...' Tenma thinks before murmuring, "I apologize in advance for the owner of this clothes."

Unbeknownst to them, two teenage boys, who are the same age as them, quickly discarded their drinks and hastily follows the group, occasionally missing them however because of the crowd.

"Ugh, let's get out of this place ASAP!" Fuwa spoke with a small smile on her face. "And yet, you seem to be enjoying yourself, Fuwa-san..." Nagisa replies with a low tone.

"Hey!" A hand suddenly comes in contact with Nagisa's shoulder causing him to whirl around, the others doing the same.

They see a boy with brown hair and black slit eyes, wearing a red cap, a white t-shirt, its hems are colored blue and a pair of jeans. Beside him is also a boy, he has blonde hair with blue streaks and brown eyes. He wore a black jacket and jeans.

Although they both look simple, they gave off the aura that makes people to immediately think that they are rich.

"Where'd you come from?" The boy who touched Nagisa's shoulder began. He had a blush on his face and a flirtatious grin. "How about a drink? Anything you like it's on me!"

As he spoke, the girls stared at him with narrowed eyes, looking a little disgusted and unamused. The other boy smiles apologetically before putting a hand over his friend and gave him a small pat that looked like a warning. "Sorry, uh," He clears his throat. "We came here to invite you for a drink? If you want to, of course." He says kindly, his eyes lingering on Tenma (who blinked when he noticed) for a second.

(Nagisa stares at the blonde boy quizzically, seemingly like he had noticed something.)

Kataoka discreetly glances at the four before pushing both Nagisa and Tenma towards their direction, earning soft exclaims of protests. "Alright, girls, go ahead! Keep them company." She tells them.

"But—"

"Kataoka-san...!"

The taller girl leans down between them, using her palm to cover the outer half of her mouth to prevent the other two boys listening in. "We have to act normal, remember? We'll come and get you if anything happens."

"Urk...!" The cross-dressed ones made a noise of defeat before comically crying. "How did it come to this..." Nagisa whines as Kataoka pulls herself back then sends them a smile and waves. "Have fun, Nagisa, Tenma." She said.

"Oh, so you're Nagisa-chan! I'm Yuji," The boy who touched Nagisa's shoulder introduced as the four now walks away. Tenma discreetly looks over to his shoulder to see the girls walking away as well. "Tenma, huh?" The blonde and blue haired boy spoke from beside Tenma as Yuji tries to strike up a conversation with Nagisa who nervously and awkwardly replied back short responses.

Tenma nods, making the boy beside him to smile, "Nice to meet you, Tenma-chan, I'm Nomura Haruto. Just call me whatever you like, I'm fine with anything."

Once again, Tenma nods, offering Nomura a small smile. "Nice to meet you too, Nomura-kun." He said, although a little stiffly.

Then, the four arrives at the circular small tables that reaches the teens' elbows and fits for only two people. So, the four divided into two. Tenma and Nomura on one table and Nagisa and Yuji on the other, just a little far from the first pair, about two tables away.

"Do you drink?" Nomura suddenly asked, catching Tenma off guard as he lets out a little noise of confusion. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable." Nomura gently adds.

In all honesty, this really caught Tenma off guard. Nomura is entirely different from his friend, Yuji. He's pretty gentle and acts like a...

'He's like an Isogai point two...' Tenma thinks, suddenly remembering about the class ikemen. He shook his head in response, offering Nomura a grateful smile. "No, I don't. Sorry." Nomura wore an unreadable expression, at least for a split second before he chuckled, "No need, it's alright. I don't drink either; I'm a minor, after all." He half-joked, earning a soft giggle from Tenma as an agreement. "So, talking, are you okay with it?"

"Uh-huh," Tenma smiles. He notices Nomura blink at him, looking a little confused for a split second but then a nonchalant expression takes over.

"Say, what brings you here? You don't look like the type that goes out, at least not in the place like this." Nomura questions, curiosity gleaming in his eyes, but Tenma could see that there is something else. Warily, he replied, but remained calm and natural. "My friends invited me, I couldn't say no." Tenma said what comes out on top of his head. "And I thought that it wouldn't hurt to go, at least just once." He added to justify his reason.

Nomura hummed then bobs his head, "I see. Having fun, yet?"

"Uh... I— I guess?" Tenma awkwardly laughed, rubbing his nape with his hand. Nomura's eyes scans him but Tenma tries not to pay attention to it. "What about you? What brings you here?"

"Same as you, Yuji wanted me to come with him."

"Is this your first time coming here? Coming in a place like this?"

"Believe it or not, yeah." Nomura admitted, making Tenma to stare at him in surprise. "Wow, really?" He couldn't help but to gasp in awe. "You look like you've at least come here all the time!"

Nomura laughed lightly. "I know, but I was told that I can be a natural when it comes to things. Like socializing." He said, as Tenma "oohh"s. "And figuring things out."

"Hm?" Tenma tilts his head to the side, puzzles by what he had said. Nomura only smiled at him.

"Like how I figured out that you and Nagisa-kun are actually boys."

"W— What?" Tenma sputters, eyes wide open. How did he know? What gave it away? Last he (and everyone) checked, Tenma and Nagisa really looked like that they are girls and are entirely different. (Except for Nagisa, at least just a little bit.)

"It's just a hunch, and looks like I got it right."

Tenma bit his lip, his blood running cold at the perfect shot. "Are... Are you going to tell Yuji-kun?" He shakily asks. If he tells him then it'll be all over and they'll be caught, but to his surprise, Nomura shook his head. "Of course not, I'm sure you guys have a reason for it. If you don't mind, could you tell me?"

"Um, well," Tenma stammers, he doesn't know how to tell him and it's mostly because he couldn't recover from the shock. Seeing his hesitance, Nomura brings his two hands up to his chest, softly punching his palm with the bottom side of his fist. "Ah! Is it because you're both into cross-dressing?" He asked so casually that had Tenma to sputter again.

"Well, if that's what you guys want, I'm not judging you, everyone has different hobbies or interests so—"

"T— That's not it!" Tenma exclaims, pushing his hands towards Nomura's face to cover his mouth so that he could stop talking. "That's not it at all...!" He said, his face red in embarrassment. Into cross-dressing? No way! At this point, his hands started shaking.

"Um, I— We— The girls needed someone to protect them," Tenma wants the earth to swallow him whole right then and there because he knows that he is starting to babble. "If we dress as ourselves then we would stand out and the girls wouldn't have any fun, s— so, we cross-dressed so that we could fit in..." It's not a lie but not the whole truth either.

Nomura could almost swear that he could see smoke coming out from Tenma's reddened ears and on top of his head from the overheating of his face. He has to admit, he finds this adorable.

He chuckles as he brings his hands up to gently grab Tenma's wrists and lowers his hands down, "Alright, alright, I get it. I shouldn't have assumed, I'm sorry." He smiles apologetically, although a little amusingly. Tenma groans with his mouth closed as he covers his red face with his hands. "This is so humiliating..."

"Hey, tell you what," Nomura began softly making Tenma to widen the gap between his fingers as he shyly peeked. "you were really brave. You and your friend. And that's really nice for you guys to do, honestly this is the first time I've seen guys do this for their friends." Nomura says genuinely, making Tenma to slowly put his hands down. "You don't find it weird?"

"Pfft," Nomura snickered, "of course not. As I said, you guys did it for your friends. And anyway, I won't judge you if you are actually into it." He teases a little, and yet he is sincere about it and it made Tenma to smile and laugh.

"Nomura-kun, you're a really great company." Tenma says sincerely, "Anyone's lucky to have a friend like you."

Nomura stares at him in surprise, he looks like he was caught off guard. But before he could speak, they heard the sound of someone slamming the table. Turning around to look, Tenma sees a troubled looking Nagisa who is holding up a cigarette and an upset looking Yuji. Oh no, he doesn't know what happened which made him nervous.

Yuji was saying something to Nagisa but because of the loud music from the background, Tenma couldn't exactly hear what he was saying but he could make out the words, "Life's already hard for us men!"

"Oh dear," Nomura sighs as Tenma looks at him. "Do you know what happened?" He asked, "I have a guess," Nomura replies, looking a little sad. For his friend, maybe, Tenma thinks. "He, uh... doesn't take things too well," Nomura elaborates even though it's still vague but Tenma nods in understanding, seemingly having an idea as well on what Yuji is upset about.

Then once Yuji has finished talking, Kayano came just in time as she calls for the two to fetch them.

"Looks like you have to leave," Nomura states, looking between Kayano and Tenma. "Ah, yeah... I had fun talking with you, though." Tenma admits with a smile which Nomura gladly, and happily returns.

"Glad to hear it, otherwise I'd be damned," Both Nomura and Tenma chuckled before waving to each other goodbye then Tenma skips off to regroup with Kayano and Nagisa. And with that, the three of them left to regroup with the others.

"Don't leave us alone like that," Nagisa sighed when the three arrives. "Sorry, we hammered out a strategy." Kataoka said making Tenma to sigh in relief. "That's great, I can't wait to get out of these clothes."

"Hey, wait up, ladies!"

The group makes noises of alarm when they heard a familiar voice. Turning their heads around they see Yuji running up to them with Nomura following hot on his heels, calling his name. "Y— Yuji! Hey!" It seems that he was trying to stop him and tries to grab him by the shoulder but Yuji was stubborn as he dodges.

"As a special treat, check out my signature dance moves!" Yuji announces when he's already in front of them then begins to dance, his dancing is out of beat and a little awkward for the group.

'Go away.' The group thought, looking at Yuji annoyingly while the cross-dressed ones look embarrassed.

Nomura sighs then walks up beside Tenma. "Sorry about that, uh, he's uh..." He tries to reason out with an apologetic smile, and glances to the dancing Yuji. He cringes, then facepalms when he feels the overbearing second hand embarrassment. "Impulsive, I guess that's the right word." Tenma chuckles awkwardly in a sorry attempt to soothe Nomura.

Then suddenly, on a process of dancing, Yuji accidentally knocks off a drink on a guest's shirt. The guest, who is a man bigger than Yuji, looks intimidating. He looks at Yuji in anger who in return looks afraid and nervous.

"Hey, brat! Tough guy, eh?" He said with a snarling smile before he starts to be aggressive with Yuji who tries to apologize. The man grabs Yuji by the shirt and demands compensation. "H— Hey!" Nomura quickly runs over to his friend to give him aid. "I'm sorry about what he did, really! It's an accident, we can pay for it!" Nomura tries to calm the situation down as he talks to the aggressive man, only to be responded by angry and snarling replies.

Tenma was about to take a step forward to help them but then feels a hand tapping his shoulder. Turning his head over he sees Okano smiling at him, "I got this," She winks then walks over to the man.

"Excuse me, Mr. Yakuza, sir."

The Yakuza man stops shaking the panicking Yuji as he turns his head to the smiling Okano. "Yeah?" He gruffed. Then Okano bends down and brutally kicks the man in the face with her foot, erupting gasps from Yuji and Nomura, the latter yelling a profanity in alarm.

Once the man falls, he lets go of Yuji who would've fallen on his butt in the process if it weren't for Nomura to catch him on time.

Kataoka and Hayami casually walks over to the unconscious man and picks him up, one holding his arms and one holding his legs the carries him a few meters away from the boys then sets him on the ground, positioning his body to make it look like he wasn't assaulted and that he just passed out.

"Excuse me, sir!" Yada calls the guard that was guarding the exit. "That customer just suddenly collapsed!" She pointed at the unconscious man. "Take him out here and get him checked!"

The guard walks over to check and indeed he sees the customer on the floor. "A-Ah, yes, sorry for the bother." He bows as Yada sends him a smile as if to say that it is alright before he ran towards the customer and begins to carry him, wondering how much he drank. Once the two adults are out of ear shot, Kataoka points at the glass doors. "Now!" She whisper yells as the girls now ran towards the exit.

"Back to the dance floors, you two! And don't tell anyone about this, okay?" Yada giggles before sending the two stunned boys a wave and runs off with the others.

"Holy shit what the hell did I just witnessed, it was so awesome." Nomura laughs, albeit a little shaky. "That's my classmate," Tenma laughs as well, "Don't tell to anyone about this."

"Are you kidding? Of course, I won't. No way in hell I would share this to anyone, I'd cherish this amazing memory." He sounds sincere.

Tenma nods in thanks, grinning at Nomura's enthusiasm, and was about to call Nagisa but then he sees him walking up beside Yuji. "Even when girls pull off something effortlessly cool, you still have to chin up and act cool... It is hard, being a guy." He hears Nagisa say with a smile as Yuji stares at him in awe.

"Nagisa-chan..."

"If we meet again, keep acting cool, okay? Anything but drugs and dancing, if you can help it."

Tenma smiles at the interaction, looks like Nagisa has helped someone. "Looks like this is really goodbye, huh," Nomura says, a little disappointingly.

Tenma hums in thought, "No, I don't think it is. Who knows, maybe we'll meet again someday and I'm looking forward for it." He smiles brightly causing Nomura to squint because he swears he saw light attacking his vision. He chuckled, "Yeah. See you later."

"See you."

"We really sent you to into some dicey territory," Koro-sensei spoke once the group reunites. "You weren't in any danger, were you?" He asks with a hint of concern. The girls only smiled and shook their heads.

"Nuh-uh."

"Not remotely!"

Then, Nagisa and Tenma walks up behind the girls, now wearing their casual clothing again and on their hands are the dresses that they wore.

Kayano, who is the first to notice them, smiled and nods to them in greeting. "Wow, you guys sure change fast, Nagisa, Tenma."

Seeing the troubled looks on their faces, Kayano's smile faltered then tilts her head in concern. "Hmm? What's wrong?"

"Well... You guys did everything this time around." Nagisa said, looking down. "What was even the point of us being in this getup?" Tenma, who has his hair up and dry now, deadpans.

"For comical relief, duh!" Karma smiles cheerily, holding up his phone to show a picture he took of Nagisa and Tenma cross-dressing.

"Don't you even dare, Karma!"

"Delete that, right now, Karma!"

Both boys fusses as Tenma shots his hand up in attempt to grab the phone away but Karma effortlessly dodges his attacks.

Kayano, who giggles at the interaction, muses. "No, I don't think that's it, I'm sure it wound up helping someone anyway."

"At least on Nagisa's part, anyway," Tenma says a little embarrassingly after he has given up trying to snatch Karma's phone away, the latter only sticking his tongue out on him teasingly.

Nagisa turns up to look at Tenma a little confusingly before he shook his head. "No, I think you did something too."

"Huh...?"

Meanwhile, as Yuji and Nomura walks, Yuji places the cigarette box on the waiter's tray who was passing by. The sight made Nomura glance at him proudly.

At first, Nomura thought that entering this bar would be tedious as always. People are tedious and absolutely two-faced. At least, that's what he thinks because he seems to be encountering people like that, mostly people would use him for money.

His parents are busy but they make sure to give him the attention he deserves as their son, but honestly, Nomura couldn't bring himself to care because they would always leave at the last minute or second.

Yuji is his only friend in the world (and maybe a certain pianist too if he wasn't that busy) despite being a little problematic and he wouldn't stay true to himself but Nomura was there with him to help him out. He was there when Yuji tries to impress girls by doing drugs, and countless of times he has to stop him or else he'll regret it.

People are easy to read, initially he thinks it's nice, thinking he could help a person in need. He was naive. And it was a big mistake. Since then, he is wary of people, and often finds them boring. Mostly because they aren't that sincere, and are, well, fakes.

It's only fair if he'll be fake with them, too right?

But then Tenma comes in. Tenma; it either means, heaven, sky, or true. Yuji was interested in Nagisa, so he lets the two of them be. As always, he thinks that Tenma would be tedious or two-faced like everyone else but turns out he was wrong.

He finds her interesting, which was new. Nomura couldn't help but to wonder why. Turns out, Tenma is not a 'she' but a 'he', a boy. It surprised him, yeah, and he thinks that must be the reason why he was intrigued with him, but it isn't the case.

Actually, no, intrigued probably wouldn't be the right word. It's something in his gut. Something that tells him that Tenma is different. He scoffs internally and dismisses it. Everyone is the same when it comes to money.

He was deadly wrong.

Tenma is different. He isn't arrogant, or condescending, or a liar. He's so sincere, so true. When Tenma smile at him, he realized that no one has smiled that brightly at him like that before.

And for once, aside when he is around Yuji, he wasn't being treated as an object that would be discarded, but as human, as himself.

Tenma is like the wind or a breeze for he blew away all the doubts he had for everyone and made him realize that not everyone is like what he thinks they are.

"Who knows, maybe we'll meet again someday and I'm looking forward for it."

Nomura stops his tracks at Tenma's voice echoing in his head and the smile that was given to him. He smiles, then looks out the glass window, showing the view of the outside of the island. "Looking forward for it too." He mumbles with a smile.
