Hey, everybody. This is a poem in Yuna's point a view. This poem would be after Tidus disappears and before Yuna finds Tidus again. Also, this poem is dedicated to Yuna and Tidus.
Should I Be Laughing Instead?
I remembered the time.
The time when I saw you frown.
I knew I had to say something,
Because I could tell that you were down.
I told you that I would smile,
Smile when I was sad,
Smile when I was unhappy.
That way I wouldn't feel so bad.
I also told you to laugh.
Laugh so all your sorrows will wash away,
And laugh so you won't feel this way.
At first you felt that this was dumb,
But when you laughed and I laughed along,
We had fun.
On and on the pilgrimage went,
And more and more our love grew.
Then when we finally kissed,
I knew our love for each other was true.
But now you are gone.
Gone where I cannot gaze into your eyes that I adored,
Gone where I can't see your smiling face,
Gone where I'd never feel your tender lips anymore.
I've never been so sad in my life,
But when I thought back to what I said,
I cried and cried.
Should I be laughing instead?
Well, that's the end. I hope you like it.
