Chapter 1
The three women continued in their escape, as the demons sent by Naraku closed in on them. Kagome pushed her bloodied hair from a gash on her face, out of her eyes as she continued to carry an unconscious Sango from the earlier battle on top of her back. The whole time a wounded Ayame followed the two, carrying Sango's boomerang. That was used as a shield to stop the oncoming arrows.
None of them could believe what happened. Just a few ago the two groups of Inuyasha's and Koga's friends were traveling together, then a group of girls joined up with them claiming to be hunting Naraku too.
Soon each of the men fell head over heels in love with one of the girls. They abandoned Kagome and the other two, saying that they didn't want to travel with them anymore. The men that each of them had loved pulled them separately to the side to talk to them. Flat out saying that they didn't want them in their presence anymore and broke each of their hearts.
Then, to make matters worse when the three were off sulking in their own self-pity, Naraku shows up and starts his attack by sending hoards of demon. At first it was easy for them to fend the demons off. Then Naraku brought in several new incarnations of him that were as powerful as Kagaru.
For the past several days they were chased down and eventually Sango, who was doing most of the fighting was seriously injured. Kagome finally ran out of arrows and Ayame became to exhausted to fight off the assaults.
They have been traveling night and day for the past several days, barely escaping the attacks. But then when the entered a mountain rang where there wasn't much animal life, they decided to just give up and die. When the attacks were about to come all the deoms were vaporized in an instant. So the two (minus an unconscious and nearly dead Sango) decided to press on to avoid any more attempts by Naraku on their lives.
They were lucky in the fact that there were no demons around. Probably due to the great aura that hung down heavily on all three of them. The only problem now was not to run into it. Except in this the three women were not so lucky.
The thing that contained this great power was right in front of them bathing in a wilderness hot spring, completely in the nude for the entire world to see. The to were so entanced that Kagome said with out realizing it, "Wow."
