Hi! How are you all? Good? Well, you won't be after reading this. Or maybe you will, depending on what your frame of mind is. This poem is about a scene from Duelist Kingdom we should all remember, and for those of us that don't; you shame yourselves. Kidding! Right…so…on with the fic I guess!
Disclaimer: The Nile is drying, Sphinxes are crumbling, the sand blows away and the Pyramids are cracking. I would be lying, if I was mumbling, that at the end of the day YuGiOh's not what I'm lacking.

I believe you lost hope too soon as you stood on the borderline.
I suppose you were done pretending that everything was fine.
I refer to the moment you stepped on that ledge in the first place
Because it's so important to know thoughts that went; un-reflected on your face!
'What have I got to live for?'
I embrace the fact that you lost to Yugi but what else is new?
I cannot be satisfied with the knowledge you let it get to you.
I divulge it was sick to see you hopeless; helpless there
Because one wrong move from the opposition; you'd be falling through the air!
'Why bother fighting this war?'
I followed your heart beating in your chest as Yugi thought.
I divide options; he could've attacked; won the duel you'd fought.
I never thought he would attack, and neither did you
Because standing there so superior you knew there was nothing he could do!
'Why should I hold on?'
I recall how you saw Mokuba's face being wholly swallowed.
I incite that he's your brother, and with him you'd have followed.
I proceed with the fact you thought for you both hope was gone
Because I know otherwise you'd have kept up the fight; but you slowly came undone!
'Why should I be strong?'
'What have I got to live for?
Why bother fighting this war?
Why should I hold on?
Why should I be strong?'
These thoughts were rushing through you mind
When all your senses were left behind
And Mokuba felt your pain in his possessed eyes;
Watching over the brother that never cries.

Yugi's Light Keeps Me Pure –Yeah, Mokie and Seto are the best siblings ever! Was it really good how I began my verses with questions? This time I put the questions at the end. That one line made you cry? Nice to know my work has that effect on people. I wanted separation from the other verses, lines that were somewhat dramatic and accusing but they didn't fit in with the rest, so I put them in at the bottom of the verses last chap.
