Kakashi was holding Naruto on his shoulders and was running. Running as fast as he could, away from the Valley of the End. When the final battle had taken place, he and Naruto had escaped Sasuke before they were all killed by the madness of a fool.
He didn't take Sakura as the type who would stop Sasuke, instead she would follow him into the darkness. After running for hours, he finally set Naruto down, he noticed that Naruto's wound had started to heal.
Naruto then decided it was a good time to awake, and looked around confused.
"What happened?" asked Naruto, confused and in pain.
"You lost Naruto," said Kakashi, saddened to see his student in such a state.
"Oh yes, don't worry, I thought ahead," said Naruto to which he confused Kakashi, " I knew I never was going to win that fight, so I might have left a few notes for a few people to meet us at the old base of the akatsuki,"
"Why there?" asked Kakashi, confused to his student, trying to find the benefit in going to the Akatsuki.
"Kaka-sensei, we are going to restart the Akatsuki," said Naruto dead serious.
"What?" asked the confused Kakashi, " take a few steps back, how did you know you were going to lose?"
"Kaka-sensei, think about it like this, He had the Yin side of the Sage of the Six Paths power, the 8 tailed beasts and half of Kurama's power, there was no way I was going to win," said Naruto through pained breaths.
"But why the Akatsuki?" asked Kakashi "isn't it better to go into hiding?"
"The Akatsuki's original purpose was to find true peace, I found this out from talking with Nagato and Konan, they wanted to originally find peace through cooperation, it was through Obito's convincing that darkness slipped into the akatsuki,"
"But if you lead, won't Sasuke go after Hinata and the others?" asked Kakashi, seeing the ingenious part of Naruto's plan.
"No, Kaka-sensei, I am dead, I means Sasuke-teme thinks he has killed me," said Naruto trying to get up but falling down, to which Kakashi helped him sit down "If a masked man starts leading the Akatsuki, then Sasuke won't thing anything of it, plus Hinata and the rest are at the the base,"
"Where did you learn to plan so well?" asked Kakashi, giving Naruto an eye smile.
"What I learnt about planning and strategy, I learnt from you," said Naruto smiling sadly.
"Now let's get a move on, if we want to reach the base," said Naruto as Kakashi put Naruto's arm around his shoulder and they began their long walk towards the base.
