Extremely short chapter. Rating may change as I currently have no idea what the plot of this story is. Expect Remus/Sirius and a couple school dances. This will be a light fic, mostly. I think.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. Do you have to keep rubbing it in my face.
Author's Notes. I have dolls for the characters in this story. E-mail me if you'd like to see them.
A Hormonal Hogwarts
Chapter One: Andy
Sirius had just managed to shut the front door and shoulder his broom, when it abruptly opened and closed again. A brunette his height, and in his jeans, looked at him. "Quidditch practice?" she asked, twisting her baseball cap around so the brim faced the back.
Sirius groaned. "Yes. And no, Andy, you can't come."
"Sir-ius!" Andromeda whined, pulling on his arm. "Please? If I practice a little maybe they won't make me a damned cop-out reserve this year."
Sirius swore. "Fine. Go get your broom. And shut up, will you? I don't want Mummy dearest to know I'm going to the 'blood-traitor's' house." He rolled his eyes as Andromeda hugged him and run upstairs to grab her Comet Two-Sixty.
Andromeda was a tomboy who loved Quidditch and pigging out just as much as Sirius. And while she was fun and sweet and wore his jeans when he outgrew them, she could also get annoying. Sirius wasn't used to hanging out with girls and not ogling them. But Andromeda was harmless. He didn't see much of her at Hogwarts, her being a Ravenclaw. But he saw her enough. And putting up with a shadow was much better than trying to make conversation with Bella and Cissa.
Andromeda came out a few minutes later, her wrist guards in one hand and her broom in the other. "James won't mind, will he?" she asked, knowing it didn't matter. If Sirius brought her, James would be fine with it.
"No, he won't mind." Sirius said.
"He doesn't live in London." Andromeda pointed out. "I hope you don't plan on walking all the way to Godric's Hollow. It's not dark enough to fly."
"Ever the smart-ass Ravenclaw." Sirius teased, tugging on Andromeda's brown hair. "We're only ten minutes from Diagon Alley, dork. We'll Floo from one of the shops."
They played two-on-two Quidditch for about three hours before Remus had to go home. "Sirius, Andromeda! Do you two have to go home for supper?" Anne Potter called from the kitchen window.
"No!" Sirius yelled back.
"I'll set two extra plates then." The redheaded mother disappeared from view before Sirius pulled his cigarette out again.
He turned in time to see his best friend replace his baby cousin's baseball cap with his. "I can't believe you like the Tornados." he said, tweaking her nose.
Andromeda rolled her eyes and punched him in the arm.
Thank God. Sirius thought. James may be flirting, but no guy stays with a girl that could kick his ass in arm wars.
James just laughed however and held her gaze for a second longer.
Please don't kill me. I swear to God there will be James/Lily ... eventually. Ummm...hope to update soon, but I have another story idea, so I have to kill these damned plot bunnies.
