"I'll never forget her," Jack said out of the blue to his friend, Rick, who had agreed to come to the bar with him that night.

"Who?" Rick asked.

"The first time I came to Mineral Town, I got lost and wandered onto the man I call Grandpa's farm. After a while, a girl came up to me and asked me to play on the mountain with her, and Grandpa encouraged me to go, so I did. Little did I know, the few hours we spent together would change my life. We played, and talked, and when the day was over, I kissed her before heading back to Grandpa's farm. I never knew that I could feel such love for a person. Through all of the years after that, when bad times came, I would think of her, and how much I loved her from just those few hours, and I would dream of coming back here and meeting her again. Then I finally come here after Grandpa dies, but since I never even knew her name I don't know if she's Elli, or Ann, if she moved out, or if she was just visiting too. And that's why I've held back from dating the girls -- because no matter what, I will find her someday, I just know it," Jack informed solemnly.

Rick looked at him with shock for a minute, then finally said cautiously, "Um, Jack? That 'girl' was me."
