Cherished Desires
(One-Shot)

Tomoyo sighed.

Oh, look at that.

The chapel was decorated, and the yard blossomed with flowers and cherry blossom trees. Sakura stood at the front of the church, looking more beautiful than ever before. Syaoran stood at the end of the aisle, looking as handsome as his lover was beautiful. Rika, Naoko, and Chiharu were the bridesmaids; Takashi was the best man (Syaoran couldn't find anyone else... not that he's bad or anything); Touya was behind a cage (literally!); and Yukito just smiled in the front row.

While Fujitaka led Sakura up the aisle, Tomoyo recorded everything with her camera. The bride's best friend didn't trust anyone to record the ceremony. She even turned down the offer to be maid of honor!

Heartbroken and cold, she was the only one crying. Well, Sakura was, too, and so were a few others, but Tomoyo was crying for deeper reasons than any of them.

Oh, Sakura... I hope you and Li stay together.

Another sigh, another tear.

The amethyst-eyed girl clutched her camera. Touya said something in a muffled voice (nobody needs to hear it, of course).

All her love, gone. All her desires, vanished. Sakura was now Syaoran's, and she had nobody. But who cares, right? Nobody knew. Maybe a few did, but they wouldn't make it world news, would they? No. Certainly not.

It was hard to let her first love go, but Tomoyo wasn't going to stop her. One day, she'll find her own true love. She'll just have to wait.

OMG, this was the shortest thing ever! (cries) So, anyway, this isn't the end. This is just the one-shot prequel to when Tomoyo goes to England and looks for Nakuru and finds Eriol instead! Amazing, no? Well, screw you! It'll take some time for the chaptered one to come out… depending on my mood, school….

I'm in a little ET-crazed phase, and I just cannot get enough of them! Sad thing is, this isn't ET! (cries again) Don't worry, ET fans… I'll make it all up in the sequel! If you want to read it, then read! If you don't, get out of here! Shoo!
