I know I once had this story up, but I've decided to bring it back and try my hand at it again. I blame playing the God of War games, just the desire to make a story and read about the OC going against the Gods of Olympus, pissing them off, becoming stronger to take them on should they get on his bad side... and believe me when I say there will be muktiple Gods in this story who get on the OC's bad side... because of their petty and arrogant nature, especially those that deserve it but don't worry, the entire Greek Pantheon won't be wiped out... because some of the Goddesses happen to be in the harem featured in this story.
Yes, it's going to be a harem story as well, featuring demigoddesses and goddesses alike. However, there is one goddess that I'm keeping out because... I'm not sure whether to put her in the harem or make her a mother figure to the OC... or kill her off at some point. I'll talk about that at the end of the chapter, so be sure to look out for that.
And yes, this story features my avatar of Ghidorah OC as the MC.
Disclaimer: I do not own Godzilla or Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I only own the OC Markus Reeves.
Walking through the forests of Long Island was a twelve-year old boy. The boy had short black hair, pale white skin, and dark blue eyes that contained a hidden darkness within them, along with a great amount of anger.
His attire consisted of a black leather jacket, a short-sleeved black shirt with a dragon symbol on the chest, dark blue trousers, and black trainers.
This was Markus Reeves.
Markus didn't have an easy life growing up. For the first six years of his life, he was raised by his mother after his father walked out on them when Markus was a year old. Unfortunately, his life came crashing down when the police showed up at his home one day and said his mother had gotten into a car accident and died on the way to the hospital. The only comfort Markus had was that the person responsible also died.
After that, he had been placed into foster care and Markus hated it, he hated the social workers, he hated the foster families, he hated all of it. Over the years, Markus lost track of how many fights he got in at school, or how many times he ran away, only to be dragged back.
It wasn't until he turned eleven that Markus had finally managed to successfully run away, and he had never felt more free. He got by either by stealing or hunting, after plenty of trial and error, along with either camping outside or sleeping in abandoned buildings.
Though Markus did notice there was something different about him. it started when he got into a fight with some thugs and punched one in the face when they made fun of his mother. Markus had been so angry and he lashed out, but when he punched the guy, his punch broke the thug's jaw and the thug fell to the ground screaming as the other thugs backed off, seeing this 'kid' was a lot stronger than he looked if he could break somebody's jaw in one punch.
Markus first thought he was some kind of Superman or something but dismissed that thought. He then learned he was able to control yellow lightning of some kind. As time passed, he quickly grew to control his strength and his powers, and he found that just by glaring at somebody, he scared them away.
Imagine that, adults scared by a kid's glare.
When Markus sept, he dreamed. He dreamed that he stood before a large mountain, and he'd wake up when seeing the silhouette of some 3-headed monster with massive wings.
Suddenly, Markus was pulled from his thoughts when he heard something growling. Tensing, Markus looked to where the growl came from, only to gulp when she a black dog the size of a garbage truck, with burning red eyes, and teeth sharp enough to rip apart metal.
"Uh... nice doggy?" Markus said, having never seen a dog that looked like this before. It looked like something Hell itself spat out.
Before Markus could run or do anything, he found himself picked up and thrown through the forest.
"SHIT!" Markus cursed, before groaning in pain as he smashed into the ground, feeling several bones either break or crack on impact.
"Tasty meat! No move! You die!"
Looking, Markus' eyes widened in shock, when he saw the thing that had thrown her was a cyclops!
'What the hell?! Okay, I've officially lost it!' Markus thought to himself as he got to his feet with a grunt.
"Kill these worthless creatures, boy."
Surprised at the sudden voice, Markus looked around for where it came from. But this proved to be a mistake, as the cyclops swung it's club at him, sending Markus flying and crashing through several trees. Once he landed on the ground, Markus coughed up some blood.
'Fuck. That hurt...' Markus thought as he got to a knee, looking to see the dog and cyclops approaching.
"Pathetic child! Destroy these inferior beasts!"
Markus grunted as he felt his ribs flare up in pain.
"They are going to kill you."
"Use the power we will give you!"
Markus glared at the monsters, his eyes going from dark blue to red as yellow lightning danced across the sky, causing the dog and cyclops to look up. Markus' hands crackled with lightning as it danced along his fingers before the 12-year-old screamed as he sent a burst of lightning from his hands at the two monsters, destroying them and any trees around them.
Seeing the monsters were dead, Markus fell back and his eyes closed. Though just before darkness took him, Markus heard the voices again.
"He'll do well."
"He is weak."
"He needs training and time."
"He will prove himself worthy as our avatar..."
Meanwhile, high above the Empire State Building on Olympus, the twelve Olympian gods were currently arguing over the sudden surge of power they suddenly felt coming from Long Island. A power that didn't feel like anything a demigod should have, that is if it even was a demigod, who unleashed that power.
"SILENCE!" Zeus shouted, stopping the shouting and arguing, as all the gods sat down in their thrones
Looking around to make sure they were all listening, Zeus spoke.
"I'm sure you all felt the power, a few minutes ago?" Zeus asked, getting nods from them all.
They had all felt the sudden power, it wasn't like anything they have felt, or sensed, before. But they could all agree on one thing, it radiated pure destruction.
"This is…unexpected." Muttered Zeus, after a moment, while Poseidon scoffed at his words.
"Unexpected? Brother, that power was unlike we've felt before and it was close, not only to Olympus, but Camp Half-Blood as well." Poseidon said, knowing no god or goddess had a power like the one they just felt.
"Perhaps it's a new type of monster or…something from another Pantheon." Athena suggested, given those seemed like the most likely, either it was a new monster or something from another Pantheon.
This made Zeus grunt at the thought of a god from another Pantheon intruding on his territory. If it was a god from another Pantheon, or something sent from another Pantheon, then Zeus knew it was part of a plan to overthrow him.
"Artemis, you and your Hunters are to locate the source of this strange power. If it's monster then kill it, if it's a mortal, then bring them to Camp Half-Blood." Zeus ordered.
If it was a mortal, then he wanted to make sure they were at Camp Half-Blood, where he can keep an eye on them and whatever plots they'll make against him.
"Awaken, boy."
Groaning, Markus sat up, rubbing his head to ease the pounding. Opening his eyes, Markus saw he was once again on the mountain, a storm covering it and the silhouette of the 3-headed winged monster was there, it's eyes glowing yellow before switching to red.
The monster then came down and revealed itself in all of it's glory.
It was a dragon. A giant 3-headed dragon.
It stood at maybe over 500ft tall with massive bat-like wings with gold colored membranes, three heads on long serpentine necks, two tails with spikes at the end, and two large bat-like wings, with spikes at each end of the folds, at its sides in place of arms which stands upright on its two hind legs. Its body is covered in overlapping golden scales that shined like gold, though the front of its necks weren't covered in scales, but rather skin with a ridged texture that extended down to its chest. Each of the dragon's heads were crowned with ten large and curved horns, five on each side, along with a small ridge atop each head. All three of the dragon's necks are very muscular in addition to being very long. Two rows of spikes run down the back of its center neck, while the left and right necks feature one row apiece, the center head was also positioned in front of the other two, and its eyes were a fiery red.
it was the most terrifying... and awesome thing Markus has ever seen. Hey, he was still a 12-year-old kid and here was a giant dragon, of course he's going to find that scary and awesome.
"W-Woah..." Markus said as he took a step back when the three heads slithered towards him like snakes until they were surrounding him, their red eyes staring at him intently. "What... what are you?"
"A superior creature trapped in this flesh of a prison." The right head snarled.
The middle head gave it a sharp look. "Enough Ni! We made this decision ourselves, how else are we going to keep an eye on things?" The middle head turned it's attention back to Markus. "My name is Ichi, the right head is Ni, and the left head is San-"
"Pleased to meet you." San cut in, getting an annoyed glare from ichi, causing San to back down.
"Anyway..." Ichi turned his attention back to Markus. "You have been chosen. Though weak mentally and physically, you will grow stronger and more powerful."
"Chosen? Ch-Chosen for what?" Markus asked with a gulp.
"To be our avatar, our host. We go by many names. Monster Zero..."
"Death Song of Three Storms..." Ni added.
"The Devil..." San added.
"We are the One Who is Many..." Ichi said as the three heads lifted themselves and roared.
"King Ghidorah!/ King Ghidorah!/ King Ghidorah!"
Ichi brought his attention back to Markus. "We have picked you out of all humans to be our avatar, you will not be considered human when we are done training you. You will be a dragon yourself, and you will be able to master our power. But, as a dragon, we have a desire for more. Together... we can take what we want and nobody will stop us."
"Wha-What?" Markus asked, still confused, shocked and terrified at everything happening.
Ni suddenly growled. "One of those so called 'gods' are nearby. He isn't strong enough to take one on yet. Wake up, boy!"
Before Markus could respond to that, he vanished.
Markus' eyes snapped open as he gasped for air. Looking around, he saw he was back in the destroyed forest.
"What was he-WOAH!" Markus ducked in time to dodge an arrow being shot at him, which would've taken his head off probably had he not ducked.
Looking, Markus saw a group of young girls, all wearing matching uniforms of white shirts, silver jackets, silver camo pants, and black boots. All while carrying bows and arrows.
'Okay, these are either some girls playing bows and arrows too much or the girl scouts have lost their cookies and traded them in for bows and arrows.' Markus thought to himself.
"Careful, George. One of them is a god." Ichi growled in his head.
'A god? Wait, gods are real?' Markus asked but Ghidorah didn't reply as Markus saw a girl step forward, a girl about his age.
She had a face of such beauty that it made Markus catch his breath, cold and bright eyes as silvery yellow as the winter, and auburn hair gathered back in a ponytail. She wore black leggings and a silver tunic and was armed with a bow and quiver of arrows.
"Good reflexes." The girl admitted reluctantly, like she didn't want to. Markus took note of the way the rest of the girls were glaring at him, like he had committed the worst crimes on Earth or something.
Markus looked back and forth between the arrow and the girl. "The hell did you shoot an arrow at me for? The fuck did I do to you, you Robin Hood reject?"
Another girl, who was tall and graceful with coppery colored skin, wearing the same uniforms as the other girls, with the addition of a silver circlet, giving her the appearance of a Persian princess, stepped forward and glared at Markus.
"How dare you-"
"Peace Zoe." The first girl said, raising a hand to stop the other girl. "The boy doesn't know and is merely confused. Boy, my name is Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt. But that's beside the point. What are you. boy? You don't have the aura of a demigod, nor an ordinary mortal, as I can feel... something about you. You must be a Clear-Sighted Mortal."
"HA! What am I?! After everything I just saw in less than an hour, I don't fucking know!" Markus said, wishing this was all just a bad dream, and he'd wake up.
"Hmm, either way I'll be taking you to Camp Half-Blood to be watched. Someone like you, with the power I sense, can't be left on their own." Artemis said, with Markus officially having enough.
Suddenly his eyes widened in terror and he pointed. "What the hell is that?!"
The girls and Artemis whirled around, bows and arrows at the ready but saw nothing there aside from tress and birds. Artemis looked and saw Markus was running.
"Dammit! After him!" She shouted to her Hunters.
Markus looked back as he kept on running before looking ahead, trying to run as fast as he can to get away from these weirdos.
"Why are you running?" San asked curiously.
'Because I sure as hell am not fighting some goddess and her group of bad girl scouts!' Markus shouted.
"He's right. Markus is not strong enough to take on an Olympian. He will need to be trained and grow in order for that to happen." Ichi said.
"Woah!" Markus shouted as he ducked under an arrow aimed at his head. Looking back, George saw the girls right behind him.
"Stop now!" Shouted the older girl, Zoe, as she fired another arrow at Markus.
"And become target practice? Are you insane?! Who stops when having arrows shot at them?! Only idiots do!" Markus shouted back when an arrow suddenly got him in the shoulder and his eyes widened as he fell, but rolled straight to his feet, continuing to run until he got to the edge of a cliff with a river stream below.
Markus ripped the arrow out before he shook his head as his vision blurred for a second. "What the...?"
"It's an arrow laced with sleeping liquid!" Ichi growled.
Markus' vision blurred and the last thing he saw was Artemis reaching for him as he fell...
And that's it for this chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it. And before you ask, no Markus is not a son of a God, he's a normal mortal who's been picked as Ghidorah's avatar which will make him clear-sighted and not really human once he's fully mastered Ghidorah's power.
Now, the harem: Annabeth, Silena, Thalia, Katie, Bianca, Zoe, Piper, Hestia, Artemis, Athena, Aphrodite.
