Chapter One
(This is about when Jack and Sally have a kid. I know a skeleton and a rag doll really can't have kids.)
"Oh Jack, it gets awfully lonely while you are away. There is no one to talk to around here."
"Well, you could call the witches." Jack said not really paying attention. He was working on a blue print for the mayor.
"No, they laugh when I'm not even telling a joke. They aren't really fun to be around Jack." Sally new what she wanted. She just didn't know if Jack would be upset with the whole idea.
"Well, you could talk to Lock, Shock and Barrel. They are quite amusing." Jack said still not making eye contact with Sally.
"No, they are little, and hard to talk to too. They always are torturing some poor innocent creature. I can't stand watching that."
"Well Sally. Everyone here has something spooky about them. You just have to be friends with everyone." Jack said coming towards Sally.
"Jack, do you know what I would really like?" Sally said innocently.
"Umm no, but you can tell me." Jack said sitting down next to her and putting his arm around her.
It feels so nice to have his arm around me again. Sally thought to herself. She hadn't been touched like that in ages. She had thought that their marriage was falling apart.
"Jack, I would like to have…..a baby." Sally said starring into the deep black sockets were his eyes should have been.
"Oh Sally, why didn't you tell me earlier? You didn't have to keep this from me."
"I know, but I didn't want you to be upset." Sally said staring at her feet.
"Why I wouldn't have been upset, I'm so happy. I have been waiting for you to say that."
"Really Jack? I have been thinking about it since we got married." Sally's eyes were twinkling in the moonlight.
"Sally, I'm sorry. I never knew you would want a baby to take care of." Jack said smiling.
"Well I guess you know now. I think we would be great parents." Sally said smiling back.
