Running through the ally way towards the open road with a dark shadow quickly following, closing in every second. The child's bare feet hitting the wet ground in rhythm with her heartbeat. Sliding on the sidewalk and swiftly turning to her right the young girl started running up the side of the street praying that the Titans would be near.
She nimbly dodged the passing by civilians and darted across the intersection without looking, causing a wreck. She stole a glance over her shoulder searching for her pursuer. No one was following. She turned around and BAM!
She ran into something, no, someone.
She quickly backed up before he could catch her, and ran the other way.
'This guy won't give up!' she thought. 'First he kills my parents, and then he chases me across the city! Where are the Titans when I need them!'
While lost in her thoughts the girl didn't notice the hand reach out from the ally, until it grabbed her wrist.
She screamed with fright as the man pulled her into the darkness.

He was not surprised the girl didn't see his hand until the last second, but was surprised that the girl put up a fight. She already kicked him in the shin but hurt her foot more than she hurt him. She was now trying to pry the hand off her wrist. He laughed at the child in amusement, but to the girl it sounded far from it!
"Mirage, stop struggling!" He said harshly giving the girl a shake that knocked her off her feet. "It will only make this more painful.
"You wouldn't dare!"
"Would I?" replied the harsh voice.
"I'd like to see you try!" she yelled.
The man lifted the girl off the ground to where their faces met. "Oh you will my dear, you will."
The man set the girl back on her feet, reached into his belt, and pulled out a needle.
"LET GO LET GO LET GO!" She screamed. She curled her hand into a fist and hit the man as hard as she could in the stomach.
Surprisingly the man let go. She was now invisible.
She turned and raced to the open street, slid around the corner, ran up the road, slipped in a puddle, and landed at beast Boy's feet. She relaxed her fist, becoming visible again.
BB…
"Were did you come from!" yelled Beast Boy.
"Please…help…" he helped the child to her feet but picked her up when she started to fall.
"What happened?"
"...man...chased me….across city." The child answered.
Beast Boy looked at the young girl's face, tears started to run down her cheeks.
"Everything's going to be okay." The girl rested her head on his shoulder.
Beast Boy reached into his pocket and pulled out the Titans communicator.
"Guys"
"Hey BB! You were supposed to have that pizza thirty minutes ago!" Yelled Cyborg.
"We kinda have a problem."
"Beast Boy, what is it?" asked Robin.
"I found a little girl who says a man chased her across the whole city."
"Are you kidding me?" roared Robin.
" Ummm, no."
"Bring her to the Tower."
"Will do." Beast Boy put the communicator back in his belt and looked at the girl. She had fallen asleep. 'Probably needed it' he thought. Beast boy turned and walked back to the tower, fully alert for anything. Not noticing the one eye staring at him from the ally way.
