A/N: This a Hayate and Himeno story. I barely use ther names though. Don't really know why, just seemd more romantic and poetic. But you can tell who it is..
The wind blew in the window caressing the sleeping pink-haired girls cheek. It was a dark moon-less night and music could be heard floating in the air.
"I'll be there till the stars don't shine. Till the hevens burst and the words don't rhyme. Baby when I die you'll be on my mind"
The sleepeing girl turned toward her radio. She had fallen asleep listening to the most popular show in Awayuki town. It was hosted by a very dear friend of hers. Now a night time request show for love songs was on.
The words seemed to pierce though the sleeping girl's dreams. The words made her dream of a Blue haired, blue eyed Knight. It was the person she most wished would say these words to her. She knew what was in his heart, she just longed to hear it.
"When I die you'll be on my mind. And I love you always"
It was her self sacrifice that that had brought him back to life. Then his kiss in return, her first kiss, hd brought her back to life.
"I'll be there forever and a day. and I love you always"
Not only did the words come from the radio, they were whispered in her ear by a very familar voice.
"Hay-." She was cut off by a finger put to her lips. Her ruby-red eyes couldn't believe the sight in front of them. Her dream had come true.
"Your heart called out to me, tulip. I had to see you,the sound was so lonely. I never want you to feel alone" His dark blue eyes searched her face.
"Now that you are here, will you stay with me. Please?" she begged with puppy-dog eyes.
Instead of answereing verbaly, he lay down in bed next to her, wrapping his arms around her waist. In her ear he whispered,"Just try and get rid of me"
Incredably happy now, she closed her eyes and fell asleep. She prayed this night would never end and that she could stay with her knight forever
