It had been a long day for Rose as she close her locker. After grabbing her things and getting ready to go back to the apartment. That she had in the royal court. After returns back from a royal trip with her best friend her queen Lissa and her guardian. To get supporters for her law to pass so that Moroi fight alongside their guardians. Some of the royals that they met are not all into it. They felt that the guardians should do the battle against the Strigoi. Some are on board to fight alongside their guardians.
Rose was walking of out the locker room. When she noticed that some of the other guardians were looking at her. Whispering in a low voice. Some of them are shaking their heads in bad. Normally Rose kept on walking and avoiding them. But what she overheard next caused her to stop.
Yeah, I heard that guardians Belikov move all his belongings out of his apartment two nights along.
''Where did he go?''
''I don't know but I hope they kick him out of or leave court like they should have done months ago.''
''He didn't show up for his shift last night that answers everything.''
He didn't show up for his shift last evening. So that answers everything.
''What are you talking about being kicked out or leaving court?''
The group of guardians all turn their heads. Looking at Rose who was standing four feet from them. None of them didn't say a word to her. Some of them have phony smiles on their face.
Guardians Hathaway jr we didn't know you were there. How was the trip that you and the queen with forth? One of the guardians Hunter asked trying to change the subject.
''What are you all just speaking about?''

''Stop pretending like you don't know. I overheard you saying that guardian Belikov move this stuff out of his apartment a few nights ago.''
''I got better things to do,'' Hunter said along with the others. Walking away from Rose.
Rose quickly walk out of the guardian's building. Thinking about the past few months. Dimitri has been dealing with it. Being brought back to a dhampir. After being turned into a Strigoi. With the help of spirit magic, Lissa puts a stake thru Dimitri's heart. Dimitri was having a very hard time. Dealing with what he had done. While he was strigoi that they had broken up for a short time.
Then her being framed for killing the queen. Trying to clear her name and searching for Lissa's long-lost sister. Then getting shot by Tasha was the one that killed the queen. She and Dimitri had rekindled their love for each other. Dimitri has been having a difficult time dealing with his time as a strigoi. Some of the guardians aren't helping they have been making trouble.
Before she lief with Lissa Dimitri and Christen said goodbye and good luck kissing them. Rose can tell that some of the guardians weren't pleased about it at all. When they boarded the plane one of them said in a low voice. How can she be with someone who was Strigoi?
Once Rose had to reach Dimitri's apartment door. She started knocking no one answered. She kept on knocking until she decided to pick the lock. She slowly open the door grab her stake for her belt. Hoping she wouldn't need to use it.
''No ... why did he leave without telling me.'' Rose thought as she walk out of the apartment.
There is no way Lissa would had know where he is. Her mom and Eddie are off-court right now. I don't think mia would know.
''What I don't know?''
Rose turns around seeing Mia. Standing in the hall with her wearing workout clothes.
I know this is a long shot but had you seen Dimitri as of late?
No, but I heard that he had moved out of the building. I witness an almost confrontation outside of the bookstore.

With some guardians, one of them was a guy named Hunter he wanted to fight Dimitri but... Rose.
Rose didn't stay to listen to the rest of what mia had to say. All she was focused on was getting to Hunter and getting some answers. Even if she had to beat it out of him. When she reaches the guardians' headquarters. She walks past the head and leader of the dhampir guardians Hans. Talking to another guardian.

Rose didn't stop to talk all she care about right now is to know where Dimitri is. She fine Hunter sitting in the guardian lough the same guardians from earlier. One there with up looked at her and then right away. Got up running out the door. The others along with Hunter stop what they were doing. Turn their heads to look at her. The look that she was giving them. Must have been very scary because they look at Hunter who was still eating.
Rose walked over to the table where Hunter was sitting. Hunter stops eating while she looks him right in the eye and asks in a venom voice.
''Where is guardinas Belikov ?''
I don't know.
''You got in a confrontation with him a few nights ago. You wanted to beat him up. You've been making it very clear that you don't want him here or restated as a guardian.''
''Yes, but I didn't touch him.''
''Where were you in the daytime?''
''None of your business.''
Rose then took him by the shirt pull him out of the chair. His back to the wall so he can face her. Her eyes are on him as she isn't playing his games anymore.
I am going to ask you one more time where guardian Belikov is.
''Rose.''
''Roza, what are you doing?''
Rose turns and sees christen and Dimitri standing in front of her. With a confused look on their faces. But most of all Dimitri is standing in front of her.
''Guardian Belikov, you here? You didn't leave?'' Rose said trying to place her guardian seal on.
Leave what are you talking about ... oh she most of with to the old apartment.
Old apartment? Rose asked letting Hunter go who ran out of the room so fast that a strigoi was attacking.
Christian, Rose, and Dimitri walk out of the guardian building. While the other guardians all look and talk in low voices. When they have gotten a few feet away Dimitri started talking.
I move into the Queen's guardians' quarters since christen is now living there with Lissa. Didn't Hans tell you?
''No ... when did this happen? Why is Christian living on the queen's grounds? I thought Hans say he can't live there because he is a risk.''
While you and Lissa were on the royal trip. Before you, lief Lissa made it very clear Christian is moving in with her and I should live on the ground. in case christen is in danger and since I am his guardian.
''I thought you lief or kick out of court? They were saying that you didn't show up for your shift last night ?''
Hans gave him the night off so he can get settled in. Christian said thinking about how he and Dirmitr had bonded doing the past few weeks.

Christian knows that he witnessed a private moment here he can't leave Dimitri on duty and can't be walking around without a guardian right now. He stands there while his guardian and his girlfriend's best friend are having a moment.
I'm sorry ... when I over-hard that you had to pack up your stuff and move out of your apartment. I was worried that you might have left.
It's alright Roza I told you I had started to forgive myself. For what I had done when I was strigoi. It has been hard for me I love you Roza and I will never leave you without telling you. Dimitri said giving rose a kiss.
They both kiss for about a few minutes. Until they realize that they are standing in fort of Christian and Lissa's home. Seeing that Lissa was smiling two of her guardians is standing outside of the fort door. Looking at them but more at Christian and Dimitri with uncomfortable faces.
Rose can feel the tension between them. But doesn't know why it wasn't like that before she and Lissa left.
Dimitri how about you show Rose your new apartment? Christian said he and Lissa walking inside the house. Leaving both rose and Dimitri standing where they are still standing at.
Rose then notice the look on one of the guardians' faces after Christian brought up Dimitri's new place.

Rose follows Dimitri down the pathway to the back house that is connected to the main house. Where Lissa and now Christian live. She watches Dimitri pull out a key from his duster pocket. As he opens the door.
Walking inside the very first thing Rose saw. Was the living room already furniture? With a few boxes that had her name on them .she walk over to take a good look at the writing on the fort of them.

Yes at first Hans said no saying that I a huge risk. He didn't even want to have Christian move in with Lissa. Saying it too soon after what had happened with Tasha. He had changed his mind.
