I don't own any of this Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon.

The sun began to rise over the Scotland seas, waking up many of the local wildlife such as seals and seabirds. The rising sun also lighted up the village of Loch Loud; who's residents have all awoken, even the ones who slept in late have woken up early as today is a rather big event for the village.

In the nearby grassy fields; Shepard's herd their sheep into their pens, after letting them graze in the early hours of the morning.

Restaurants such as the Fish and Chips shops had their shutters down as the married couple came out of their individual restaurants. Other store owners haven't opened up their shops yet either for they to stepped out from them as well.

Two young children; a boy and a girl are being lead by their parents over the bridge. The young girl stopped momentarily to look down at her reflection in the water below, before getting gently urged by her mother to come along. The family stepped off the bridge and soon joined a group of people that are going in the exact same direction as they are. That group is soon joined with another group, then another, then another.

All these people were leaving the village as they walked down a path that lead them towards the most important place of Loch Loud: Loud castle! Home to the descendants of their village's founders the Louds; who consisted of five girls, until today at least. As news got out that Dutchess Rita had given birth to a future Duke last night. This is big for the village, for maybe Loch Loud will once again have a family of ten girls and one boy just like the founders of Loch Loud.

At the castle itself; a grand red carpet is laid out through the courtyard as trumpets and bagpipes play out grandly, complete with colorful confetti flowing down like snow. Up in the main balcony; Duke Lynn happily looked down at the filled up courtyard as it seems like that everyone in the village is here, which he can fully appreciate.

As a Duke; Lynn Loud senior is a very kind and fair Duke to everyone in the village. He can be a bit firm when he wants to be, but he is a overall nice guy that everyone in the village likes, especially when he introduced his own lasagna recipe to everyone. He's also the proud father of five, (or now he should say six) children. His five daughters who's names are: Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, and Lynn who all can be a very big handful at times, but he loves them all with all of his big heart and would do anything for them, within reason of course.

The courtyard gets more filled up to the point that it is very well crowded. It looks like that it is time to start the showing of his new son: Lincoln.

Lynn's smile grew wider when he thought about the birth of his son. From what he had remembered, (after coming to from fainting as his wife gave birth), Lynn fell in love with his boy after he first laid his eyes on him. He wasn't the only one as his wife and daughters have also fallen in love with the baby, his daughters in fact circled around their baby brother, awing and cooing with sparkles in their eyes.

The doors behind Lynn opened as Angus the groundskeeper came up next to him. "Are you ready sire?"

"I sure am Angus." He replied proudly.

Holding his hands gleefully together, Angus practically had to hold himself from bouncing on his feet from how excited he felt on this glorious day. "Bleeding bagpipes. This is going go down in history for how happy this day is turning out to be."

"I agree." Lynn smiled brightly as he thought of his family's life with their new son and brother. They will show him unlimited love as he grows up. His son will be very happy, he promises that with all of his heart.

"So what's the little ones name?" Angus happily asked.

"Lincoln" Lynn happily answered.

"Oh, that's a very lovely name."

"Thanks Angus." Looking back down to the crowded courtyard, Lynn figured that it was time to show his son to everyone. Turning back, Lynn went back into the castle where his lovely wife Rita sat on a chair holding little Lincoln in a bundle of blankets, his five daughters surrounded their mother as they try to take a peak at their new baby brother.

"Move over. I want to see the baby." Lori said as she bumped passed Luna who retaliated. "No, I want to see him."

"But I want to see Landon." Leni whined as she tried to get in-between the two.

"His name is Lincoln, Leni." Lori corrected before going back to her shoving match with Luna. Lynn Jr. who is currently being held by Luan pointed over to the baby in her mother's arms. "Baby"

"Yes Lynn. That's are new brother, which me and him are going to be future partners in crime." Luan joked followed by her laugh as she can already see the jokes and pranks they are going to be pulling together on the family.

"Girls. Please give your mother and brother some space." Lynn firmly, but gently said. His daughters fallowed his instructions immediately and stepped back a bit. "Sorry dad."

"It's okay girls. Just settle down a bit, okay." Lynn then looked over to his wife who smiled up at him. "May I, my dear?"

"Of course honey." Giving each other a quick peck on the lips, Lynn gently picks ups his son and carried him over to the balcony, presenting him to Angus first, who couldn't help but awe at the baby and then wiggles his finger above his nose. "Your sure a cute lad."

Reaching his tiny hand up, Lincoln grabbed hold of the finger and pulls it a bit, earning a larger smile to form on Angus. "Your going to be a great duke one day. I just know it."

Angus gently removes his finger from the baby's grip, then gives him a gentle rub on the head before stepping away from father and son. Lynn had watched this whole thing with a proud smile, now that Angus had his moment with his son, it was time for the big event. Going over to the edge of the balcony, the crowd are very silent as they all waited in anticipation.

"My fellow friends!" Lynn happily began. "Meet your future Duke of Loch Loud!" Holding out his son, the crowd goes into a great cheer with more confetti raining down and music playing. Baby Lincoln looked down curiously at the cheering crowd, an orange confetti strand fell near him in which he took with a smile on his face.

Everyone continues to cheer for their future Duke. Everyone is just so happy that there will be a grand celebration at the village square later. Actually to be honest, almost everyone is happy about the birth of Lincoln.

Down in the first floor of the castle. A small mouse emerges out of a mousehole, it scampered on over to the foot of a knight armor stand where it sniffs it, the mouse then moved over to the wall and picked up some bread crumbs. Suddenly a high heeled boot slammed down on the mouse's tail making the little creature squeak in pain.

The mouse tried to get itself free, but the boot held firm as the owner of it looked down at the critter with distain on her face. This is Morag the castle caretaker, her family had been employed by the Louds for centuries and unknown to the family, all of Morag's family line hated them for they prefer a much more nice and quieter lifestyle, compared to the chaos and loudness the royal family are known for. The Loch would've been rid of those Louds if her great ancestor; dear old Aggie plan had worked. It was most unfortunate that the dragon stone she's been seeking had turned out to be a fake from that con-man that sold it to her.

Since that plan had failed, Morag's family line had to endure the Loud family ever since and Morag is non too happy about the news of the new son of the family being born, as that meant he would be the duke and she'll have to endure more Louds. Safe to say that she is in a bad mood over this turn of events and this mouse picked the worse day to come out of his hole. "Life isn't fair isn't it? I. Heh. I have to suffer more Louds and you will never see the light of day again."

Raising her other boot, Morag prepares to stomp the light out of the rodent. The sudden arrival of Angus however interrupted her as he happily approached her. "Morag! Isn't this just wonderful! We got a future Duke and he sure is cute."

Morag groaned as she rolled her eyes over Angus's bloody optimism over the Louds. He was such a great big suck up. "What is it?"

"Oh, I just want to happily inform you that Duke Lynn is on his way here." Angus happily stated.

"Oh joy." Morag exclaimed in great sarcasm in which Angus failed to notice as he pleasantly closed his eyes and chuckled. "It is isn't it." Angus then gets slightly serious. "I also must inform you that our Duke wants to ask you on why you weren't at the presentation this morning."

"I was a bit busy at that moment." Slightly lifting up her foot, the mouse gets itself free from her and scampered off down the hall, annoying Morag more as she had it literally under her foot. "Oh look at that Angus. You made me miss catching that blasted mouse."

"I'm sorry Morag. I didn't mean to."

Grumbling to herself, Morag approaches a painting of a Scottish farmland and straighten it out a bit. "I don't see what the big deal is. Babies get born everyday, no need to throw a big, loud celebration for one."

"Oh, but don't you know Morag. He is going to be our new Duke." Angus happily explained for he knew that Lincoln is going to be a great Duke in the future.

"Don't remind me." Morag muttered under her breath.

"Hello everyone." Lynn happily announced when he stepped into the hallway, Angus immediately stood up in attention, all the while Morag showed her dismay for him, before hiding it with a fake smile. "Why hello your majesty. What brings you down here?"

"Oh, I just wanted to know why we didn't see you at the ceremony?" Lynn instinctively remembered that he gave her an invite for it.

"That was today?" Morag said in fake sadness as she placed a hand over her forehead. "Oh my. I feel so awful about missing it, but you see my Duke. There was a mouse in the castle."

"A mouse!" Lynn said in panic, he jumps himself up onto the nearest chair as he fearfully scanned around for the rodent. "Where is it!? Where is it?!"

"Oh, I was chasing after it my Duke. I know how much you hate mice, so I had to miss the ceremony in order to catch it." Morag grinned as she enjoyed watching the Duke shiver in fear like a baby.

Lynn coughs a few times as he got into a more serious face as he got himself down from the chair. "Well that explains it then, good work Morag, but don't worry about the ceremony. Several relatives have filmed it so that we can relieve the moment in the future."

"Lovely" Morag said as she forced herself to keep the smile on her face. "I better get back to getting that mouse, we wouldn't want it to still be roaming around the castle."

"Yes" Lynn hastily agreed. "We certainly wouldn't want a mouse wondering around here. It could give a disease to all of us, especially Lincoln." Lynn felt himself grow worry after thinking up that thought, Lincoln was just so small and vulnerable to any disease that could do him any harm. It greatly reminded him that Lincoln needed to get his booster shots soon.

"Yes, that would be a big shame." Morag stated before going down the hallway with a sneer. Leaving Lynn and Angus to watch her leave.

"Does she seem a little upset?" Lynn asked Angus.

"I guess she woke up on the wrong side of the bed or is feeling down on missing the ceremony." Angus suggested as that was probably the likely explanation for Morag's upset attitude. He is sure that she'll be in a better mood later, she just probably needs some space at the moment. However a new, much more pressing thought came to him at the moment. "So where's the little lady now?"

"His older sisters are playing with him. I think I saw Lori and Leni pull out some of their makeup and nail polish." Lynn answered in amusement.

Angus laughed lightly for he can already guess what miss Lori and Leni are going to be doing with those items. "Oh boy. Forgive me for saying this sire, but he certainly is going to get a lot of attention."

Lynn returned the amused laughter. "You can say that." Heading in the opposite direction, the two walked off, laughing with each other as the thoughts of this happy day had brought them.
