A/N: This has gone under heavy revision. Also, since Amazon's LOTR series will be absolutely and utterly terrible, I will try to write a better one that will go well with the established lore and Tolkien's beliefs.

Volume 1 – The Bright Lord
Chapter 1: Of the Downfall
Story Start.
"Tell me, what am I doing in the Timeless Halls?" A hooded man asked a mysterious figure upon a throne of stars.
"We need thou service," said a being upon his throne amidst the stars of the universe.
The hooded sighed deeply, as if years of tiredness crept it, then he removed his hood that revealed a golden hair, naturally unkempt but clean. His azure eyes reflected the stars around them and his armour hidden beneath his cloak.
"Lord Naruto Uzumaki, Emissary of the Eternal Emperor, Stargazer and Wanderer of the Worlds. The Eternal Emperor bids thy service into this world," continued the divine being from his throne.
"So He is the one behind this summon… technically, He is also you and me, but I see. So, what do you need from me?" asked Naruto, still slightly flummoxed as to why he was summoned at this specific place in the middle of nowhere.
"We need thou eyes over the world," replied the figure upon a throne of stars.
Naruto raised an eyebrow, "Watch? Nothing else?"
"No, do as thou wilt, make friends and be merry, and take thy wife with thou."
"… do as thou wilt… very well, Creator and Lord of Arda. I accept," said the golden-haired man with a short bow and vanished from the Timeless Halls.
The One chuckled to Himself and muttered, "He forgot that his wife will be his source of exasperation in the years to come…."
-Inordinate amount of time later: Ost-in-Edhil - 1693 SA-
"You were right, Lord Uzumaki; we were deceived," an Elf Lord muttered as he watched his city below him.
"What did I ever tell you, Celebrimbor? It was always going to end up like this," replied Naruto from the shadows behind the Elf.
"I know, but 'tis far too late for any changes in time," replied Celebrimbor, exasperated before he turned towards the Stargazer.
"… even with Vilya, Narya and Nenya untouched by Sauron when he was still Annatar, they are still lesser than his Ring of Power. We alone cannot hope to withstand against him."
Celebrimbor felt the weight of his age, an old Ñoldorin prince, last of the House of Fëanor, and the Lord Uzumaki sighed hard.
"We can, but it would take time, and we have plenty," stated Naruto, and his eyes shined brightly through the darkness of the chamber.
"How?"
"Let us make myself a Ring of Power to counter Sauron's own. It shall always know whether Sauron is active or not. But do not tell anyone; swear on it."
Celebrimbor took a knife and cut his right palm, "I swear upon my blood and the blood of my ancestors, not a word of tonight shall ever be heard by any living being other than the ones present here. With the Lord of Arda as my witness, I swear."
Naruto closed his eyes and walked away, "Come, old friend, we have work to do."
"Very well, let us begin… Bright Lord of New Gondolin."
"Please don't call me that."
"Heh."
-Gondolin the Golden White City: 3310 SA-
It was a city of extraordinary grandeur, which surpassed its namesake in splendour, sundered from Arda by the One towards a realm between the Encircling Sea and the Void, yet still, a domain blessed with the light of its own the Stars. Built by Lord Uzumaki, a century after the original city fell, and from there, all manners of folk found solace and peace within his walls.
Naruto stood upon his tower and watched as the years passed by, and in this place, aside from the Blessed Realm, he found peace amidst the mission handed down to him.
The white city has been encircled by mountains that enclosed it from the Encircling Sea, and just like the ancient city it was named after, green farmlands laid before its walls, and its roads were paved with stone and wide. Yet it was greater than the city Turgon built, which may have been because it was shaped by Eru Himself as a gift for his already-long service in this world.
"My lord, a letter from Númenór, from Tar-Míriel, the Queen," an elf messenger gave him a sealed letter, with the special seal of the House of Elros.
"Smuggled from Armenelos?" Inquired Naruto and the Elf nodded.
"Yes, my lord, through some of our men inside the palace," replied his servant.
"My gratitude, now, return to your duties." The Elf kneeled and left his presence, then he broke the seal and opened the letter.
To the Lord of Gondolin,
My Lord. The King, my husband, has genuinely fallen for the whims of Sauron, so much so that he is now building a great army, to sail across the sea, to the Blessed Realm, to steal eternal life from the Valar. This cannot and will not stand, and it will only bring ruin and death for all of us.
The Faithful awaits your word from Rómenna, but danger persists due to watchful eyes of the King's Men, and Sauron's servants are keeping their eyes on me, and I write this letter in secret and in haste and may the Valar grant that this letter reaches you, my Lord, my beloved.
Only truly yours,
Míriel.
P.S. I have Dramborleg with me, while Pharazon has claimed Aranruth and the Bow of Bregor. Please, take them from him when possible.
"…" Naruto remained silent, and his eyes turned towards the Encircling Sea, then placed down the letter on his desk before he walked away.
"I suppose things could have been different had she become the Ruling Queen, right?"
"Yes, but for now, it is time to prepare for a new world; the Valar will call forth their father after this… and take Míriel," he whispered in reply.
"Oh, would she ever anticipate that? But never mind that, she will be your consort, and I, your Queen."
"Ah, do hold yourself back, will you, Kaguya? Gondolin needs no King at the moment. The Gondolindrim are not yet ready, not until this world is truly changed."
-Tirion upon Túna: 3319 SA-
A vast army of Men camped about a high green hill and their ships anchored by the great sea, and at the top of the hill, a great city of Elves stood, and high upon its walls were the remaining Ñoldor of the Blessed Realm that inhabited the city.
"Finarfin," called Naruto, and a great Elf, the fairest and wisest of the House of Fëanor stood before him - Finarfin, High King of the Ñoldor in Valinor.
"My Lord Uzumaki, what has brought you in this dire hour?"
"The fools before us."
"Númenóreans… they dare defile these blessed lands. This cannot stand," stated Finarfin, and Naruto calmed him down.
"Only Sauron is to blame, and but yes, these Men were deceived, and they will pay for it... today, the world shall never be the same," he whispered, and the Elven King could only stare at him in wonder, for he has never forgotten the might of the great man before him, all those thousands of years ago.
"The Valar has called for the One," he added, and the King stiffened, "… He is coming, and I will do my part."
Soon, thunder rumbled, and the sky darkened, then the ground shook.
"And for their folly, these Men shall be imprisoned beneath the ground, until the end of time…." The voice of the Lord of Arda echoed within Naruto's head.
"And what of me?" He asked the Creator of Arda.
"Bring down their ships beneath the waves, and I shall send Numenor beneath the Great Sea."
"Very well, payment is expected to be where it should be as usual."
The divine being chuckled within his mind and replied, "As always, old friend. Eternity may come and pass by; may thou never change."
"Never…" muttered Naruto, and Finarfin heard him.
"Lord Uzumaki?"
"No, 'tis nothing, I have a business with the usurper King of Númenór, and you will stay here and watch a new world that is to be," then he walked away from the Elven King, whose eyes stayed towards his form, and later on, his voice echoed in the skies of Aman. All the Eldar heard it, from Valinor to Endor, and then the world was changed.
I am the Bright Lord of Gondolin.
The Golden Hand that drives back the darkness,
Through the fog of night.
To protect those who are in need.
To watch over the creation.
Arise, arise oh great earth.
And fall upon our foes.
Arise, arise, oh great sea.
And drown the betrayers.
Into the caves, they shall go.
To be forgotten until the end of time.
In the name of the Blessed Realm and of the One,
My hammer shall smite thy enemies.
And all shall fear me and rejoice.
-Slopes of Meneltarma-
Tar-Míriel scaled the Holy Mountain, she was fair but weary, at the age of two-hundred and two, her Númenórean blood proved pure and strong, time did not touch her, perhaps a blessing, but regardless, her dark hair danced with the winds as climbed the steps, her fair skin was cold. She felt the wind has changed; her husband's folly repaid with equal measure.
The Great Sea rose to great heights from afar as the land trembled, while Míriel sighed in sorrow, Dramborleg slung in her back, she went on upwards, with the hope of respite on the pinnacle, but as the Great Sea drew near her, hope slowly faded as the peak was still far, that is until a hand touched her shoulder. She nearly bolted, but the hand caught her, towards an embrace, and a warm feeling went through her body; then, she turned her head and saw her real beloved and her father's great friend.
"Míriel…" he whispered as he brought a stray strand of her hair behind her right ear.
"My Lord," she replied, joy and trepidation clashed within her.
He kissed her forehead and swept off her feet, "Come, we must leave."
Then he carried her away, into the skies, away from the Circles of the Word, this all as the Great Sea swallowed the once great Kingdom of Númenór, now the Downfallen.
-Sometime Later, After the Akallabêth: West Coast of the Blessed Realm-
Within dreary halls of grey, a woman, clad in grey, stood behind a balcony, her eyes towards the Door of Night, and behind her, a man in gold.
"The world has changed," the woman in grey muttered mournfully, "… I only feel sorrow; why has it come to this?"
"Nienna…"
"I know my Lord… I know, and I have great hope that things may change into something greater, but tonight… please, stay with me, if your wife pleases."
"It is of no concern, 'tis only a matter of time, " a new voice echoed within Nienna's halls, and she stood straight.
"Lady Kaguya…" she muttered while Naruto went closer to her.
"As was written from a world far away: for in much in wisdom, is much grief, and he who increaseth knowledge, increaseth sorrow," said Kaguya from someplace else, for she was not present physically in the chambers of Nienna.
"… those words ring true, from one world to another, across the fields of stars, truth never changes," muttered Naruto as he held Nienna within his embrace, her back on his chest; Kaguya has long gone from their presence.
Back to the city hidden behind the Walls of Night, to Gondolin renewed.
"Tomorrow, I must tend to Míriel, for long she has suffered, but no more," he whispered into her, "but tonight, I shall tend to your sorrows, as I have done before the Elder Days."
A/N: Thus begins a rewrite of my Middle-earth story; I hope you enjoy it.
The Gondolindrim of Naruto consists of Elves, Men and Dwarves who joined him during the Elder Days. Despite the subdivisions, they are united to one language, carefully taught and written under one script; they also used the other languages of Arda. The Gondolindrim also didn't live within the Golden White walls of this city; they also lived in the fields and woodland outside, on fortresses on the slopes of the mountains, and the mansions within the surrounding mountain range.
The passing of time within the Realm of New Gondolin is very slow and lengthy; hence even the mortal races are not so mortal there.
Subdivisions of the Gondolindrim during the Downfall of Númenór (SA 3319): Population around 800 000
The Elves (Around 500 000, including active soldiers)
-A good number of the Elves under his rule can be traced back to the original Elves that awoke in Cuiviénen (YT 1050) who met him even before Melkor or Oromë came to them; hence they could be called simply the Quendi.
-However, the rest of the Elves under his rule were from the Eldar (Vanyar, Ñoldor and Teleri) and the Avari, and they came to him at different times during the duration of the War of the Great Jewels (YT 1497 - FA 587).
The Men (Around 200 000, including active soldiers)
The majority came from the Edain due to the Wars of Beleriand because, in this story, they were given a choice to sail to Númenór or be in service of Naruto, whom they beloved and found the model of Man.
-There were also Easterlings whom Naruto saved from Morgoth's corruption.
-Some Northmen came to him during the first half of the Second Age.
-In total, the Men came later than the Elves did, hence the lower population. But despite the divisions in origin, they quickly integrated; hence no one will differentiate between the Edain, Easterlings, and Northmen, apart from their ethnicity, because they now bear the exact colours of the Gondolindrim - Gold, White, and Blue.
The Dwarves (Around 100 000, including active soldiers)
-The least numbered, but greater craftspeople than the Men. Naruto has Dwarves from all Seven Houses with him, and most came to him before the Men did.
-The majority were Dwarves from the East (Ironfists, Stiffbears, Blacklocks, and Stonefoots), and Naruto aided them during the last years of the First Age.
-Some of the Longbeards joined as a token of friendship with Durin.
-Some of the Firebeams and Broadbeams joined him after the Wars of Beleriand and separated from most of their kin who moved to Khazad-dûm.
