Chapter 1 The Boy Who Lived
When James Potter was asked to got to the room of requirement with his friends; the marauders, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, he didn't know what to think.
After dinner the marauders made their way up to the seventh-floor corridor where the room of requirements was hidden.
The four boys were surprised to find others were waiting in front of where the room of requirement was hidden, waiting for Professor McGonagall, the head of Gryffindor House and Transfiguration teacher, who had summoned them all here, to arrive.
There was Lily Evans, the girl James Potter was in love with, Regulus Black, Sirius's Slytherin younger brother. Narcissa and Andromeda Black, Sirius's cousins, who were sisters. Severus Snape, someone who the marauders hated with a passion. Snape hated the marauders just as much, if not more. And finally, the girl that Sirius was in love with, Fawn Scamander, the daughter of the famous Newt Scamander, and the only Ravenclaw in the group.
When the four joined the others, James went straight to Lily, who was talking to Fawn Scamander, "Hey Evans, do you know why we're all here?" he said. Lily was extremely smart and usually knew what was going on.
"I have no idea, Potter," she said before turning back to Fawn, trying to ignore the toe rag that was James Potter.
Sirius on the other hand went straight to Fawn and threw an arm around her, "You look very beautiful tonight, love." He said with a smirk.
"Thank you," she said with a sweet smile. She never insulted him or was rude to him like Lily was to James, she thought that Sirius was very charming and he seemed to really care for her.
Before anything else could be said, Professor McGonagall was seen at the end of the hallway coming toward them, following her was five strangers that caught everyone's attention.
When they were in front of them, they saw what the five looked like.
One boy looked exactly like James, so much so that they could have been twins, the biggest difference between them was that the stranger had emerald eyes and a lightning scar on his forehead.
The second boy had pure white hair with a black streak in his fringe and bright blue eyes. He had a mischievous glint in his eye and was holding hands with the first boy. He was also the shortest of the three boys.
The third boy had flaming red hair and was covered in freckles, he was quite tall too.
The first girl looked very similar to the third boy, she had flaming red hair and freckles too. The two were obviously siblings.
The second girl, and last stranger, had bushy, brown hair and was carrying seven books in her arms, she also seemed to be scolding the white-haired boy for something but went silent when she realised that he wasn't listening to her.
"Come now, students, we shall begin introductions once we are inside the room of requirement," said Professor McGonagall.
After walking in front of the wall three times a door appeared, McGonagall opened the door and let everyone into the room before her. Once inside room the door disappeared on its own.
The room was quite spacious and there was enough couches and armchairs for everyone, there were even some throw pillows for people if they wanted to sit on the floor or have one behind their backs.
After everyone was seated, the marauders taking up the largest couch, Lily sitting with Fawn on a two-seater couch to their right. Then it was Narcissa and Andromeda sitting on another two-seater with Regulus in an armchair next to the two sisters. Snape sat in the armchair next to Regulus.
Professor McGonagall had a two-seater to herself, with the strangers sharing two couches next to her. The two red-haired siblings were sharing a three-seater with the bushy haired girl sitting in between them. Next to them on a two-seater the James look alike was sitting with the white-haired boy, still holding hands.
"Now that we've all settled, I believe that introductions are in order. These five are from the future," Professor McGonagall said, holding up a hand as the students started to make noise, asking questions. "They have travelled back to our time because they wished for us to read seven books, books about their lives during their Hogwarts years, hoping that with the information that we will gain from them, we can change the future before it happens, to help prevent as many deaths as possible. Now, I think I'll let them introduce themselves."
The bushy haired girl sat up straighter, "My name is Hermione Granger, muggleborn," she said getting a smile from Lily, who was also a muggleborn.
"I'm Ron Weasley, son of Arthur and Molly Weasley," said the red-haired boy. Everyone in the room knew about Molly and Arthur Weasley, they had graduated Hogwarts a few years ago and had a son with another on the way.
"I'm Ginny Weasley, Ron's younger sister, and Arthur and Molly Weasley's only daughter," said the other red head.
"My name's Leo Black, son of Sirius Black and Fawn Scamander," said the white-haired boy, smirking at Sirius's shocked face before smiling softly at Fawn who smiled back at him.
"And I'm Harry Potter, son of Lily Evans and James Potter," said the last boy, James's look alike, now they all knew why he looked like James.
"You're mine and Evan's son?" James asked quietly, when Harry nodded, he jumped up, shouting with joy. "Me and Lily have a son!"
Lily looked horrified that she would ever get anywhere near Potter enough to have a child with him, but looking at Harry she couldn't help but feel glad that she did, he seemed to have an air of kindness around him. She just hoped that he took after her more than James.
Snape couldn't but feel hot jealousy run through him at the news that Lily will have a child with Potter of all people, but then remember that they were reading these books to change the future, maybe he'll be able to convince her to stay away from Potter, before it's too late.
Leo started to laugh loudly, catching everyone's attention, "Wow, Harry, you really look just like your dad, too bad that it took me having to do that for you to jump for joy for me, huh?" Leo winked as Harry went scarlet in the face and hide his face in his hands.
"Shut up, Leo!" he hissed quietly to the boy making said boy laugh even louder.
Sirius listening to his son laugh and tease Harry and could tell straight away that he took after him more than Fawn.
"Oh Merlin, there's two of them!" Remus said with fake dread making everyone laugh and Sirius push him off the couch, everyone laughed louder.
"I believe that we should get started on the books," McGonagall said once everyone calmed down, a small smile of her lips. "Would anybody like to read first?"
Sirius put his hand up straight away, Hermione got up and gave him the first book.
"Alright, here we go, Harry Potter and The Philosopher Stone."
