Hello! this is my first fiction and an idea that popped into my brain recently and thought it could be kinda cool! a little background of the story and setting, U.A is more of a University than high school, meaning that they usually start attendance there at around age 18-19, I didn't feel all too comfortable writing violence and sometimes smut about Minors so I just bumped the age a bit.

Izumi has a rather "Villainous Quirk" in this story though I wouldn't say she is going to go down that route, I have an idea but who knows, I'm open to changing my plans.

Himiko will be pretty much the same in this as she would usually be if not more matured and hardened by life, I think most characters will have that done to them in some degree as they are slightly older.

I really Really REALLY love the Izuku/Himiko pairing and love seeing fics written about them, however they can be rare and alot of the time their relationship is often written as this incredibly toxic one that both parties feel more pain and hurt in than love, it's understandable given Himikos character but she has alot more to offer than that and I believe alot of people don't see the more nuanced aspects of her and only the surface level Sadism? which is going to be on display here but her deep love for those she cares about will be a primary focus aswell.

I will issue Trigger warnings before every chapter but as a general warning now, I'm going to be putting some pretty fucked shit in here, including and not limited to, Suicide, self harm, masochism, sadism, gore, slight smut ( Mainly fluffy shit I'm a sucker for romance and not just writing sex constantly) and much more!

This is also primarily a Romance fic!!! there will be lots of gross gushy ew couplely cute moments because I crumble and live for that sortta thing so you've been warned!!@@!!*!*!*

...also I'm dyslexic so sh if I spell dumb

She awoke feeling dazed and groggy as the alarm in her room went off letting her know it was time to wake up and Start her knowingly shitty day.

lazily she stretched up and outwards and sat up on her bed, moving her legs to side to off of the bed as she sat for a few minutes and waited for the nurse to come in. she really hoped today wouldn't be shitty. she had had enough of those days lately.

kicking her out of her thoughts and back into her unfortunate reality was the loud buzzing of her down followed by an girl a little older than her, she had forgot her name, but she started pretty recently here. she held with her two cups, one with water and the other with whatever drug they gave her to make her feel numb.

"Good Morning Midoriya, hope you slept well"

at least she was nice enough, out of all the nurses and orderlys here she was the one that treated her as an actual human, if she actually meant it though, she couldn't tell.

"...I slept okay, no nightmares this time and I feel pretty optimistic about today.."

The nurse gave a genuinely warm smile at the girl, something she usually did when she told her something not depressing.

she held out the cups to her and responded softly.

"That's great! I'll be sure to let Dr. Ichikawa know that you're still feeling good before your appointment this afternoon. alright, you know the drill".

she smiled at that, Dr. ichikawa arrived only a couple of months ago too and was millions of times better than any of the other doctors she had seen, he actually cared and listened to her problems and offered positive mindsets and solutions to them, which admittedly did help her immensely. everyone else had just thought her deranged and that she was making no process which made everything worse.

"yeah yeah, hand em over" still feeling the morning grogginess slowly she took the pills first, hating how they felt in her mouth, if she remembered correctly there were 7 of them she took 2 times a day, she hated them but had no other option. lastly she took the water and gulped them down as best she could, still finding it difficult after all these years.

she opened her mouth to the kind nurse and moved her tongue around to prove she had indeed taken them. satisfied with that, the nurse gave a bow and headed on out leaving her door open for her. this meant she could walk around freely around the building, not that were was much, a courtyard was severely monitored, a rec room, hallways...and bathrooms, that was it.

getting up and walking out the light of the hallways hurt her eyes as it bounced off of the wayyyyy too white paint that was all around her. First off she headed to one of the bathrooms, making sure to have everything she needed to start her morning routine. upon approaching the mirror she frowned, she hated how she looked, the bags under her eyes, the scars adorning her face, at least that had faded but if you got close enough they were clearly there. and her hair, she hadn't had a proper hair cut in forever, a nurse would sometimes help her put but...they weren't known to be professional hair stylists after all, she did like the length though, heading to just below her lower back, she prized her hair as one of her best features and most would agree, shaking her head out of her thoughts she got back into morning routine mode and continued on.

After all that was done, she walked over into the recreation room and found a nice little corner all too herself. she didn't have any friends in here, at least not anymore. the people in here either stay for too short or are too fucked up to talk too.

she sighed as a downcast look had begun to form on her face as she remembered the only person she ever talked to in here, the only person who accepted her for her and didn't think she was some kind of freak, of course she knew her mother didn't think that but she knew somewhere deep down she was scared of her. Himiko wasn't though, she didn't care about her quirk, the two were so similar after all. she didn't even care when she attacked that piece of shit orderly and nearly killed him, hell she swore she could tell she liked watching her do that, she missed her so much.

she and her spent every once of free time they had together, she was the only person she could actually trust and she trusted her, she still remembers when they would sneak into her room and do whatever they wanted to eachother before they were inevitably caught by someone and berated. but they always did it again and again.

It was around a year ago now, she had just, disappeared, vanished without saying goodbye, she remembered her getting a visitor, than an explosion before the lock down started. then she never saw her again. she hoped with all her heart she wasn't dead and that she just finally escaped, though a part of her stills askes why she never said goodbye or even took her with her. she thought about her evey day, missing her touch, her laugh, her stupid jokes, and, when they would feed eachother.

See they never got the right amount of blood they needed in here, most of the staff not giving a shit and basically starving them for days till they were on the brink, but when they had eachother they could just sneak off and have as much as they wanted.

of the 18 Years she had been alive, 10, here, that single year Himiko was here was the best year of her life. she felt the tears build up remembering her, aching to see her beautiful smile again. she truly worried if she would ever see her again. most days were like this, setting and thinking about her, it's all she could do, it's not like she could run out and really look for her so all she had was hope.

a few hours had past and it was a boring day, Dorru was hogging the TV and watching some really shit TV show all day and the board games had all been taken, she had just been on her phone for most of the day, her heavily restricted and moderated phone. No social media, no texting, and no googling weird shit. she mostly just read books or looked up whoever the current top hero was, it was still All Might, ofcourse.

she sighed, she still wanted to become a hero but... she would never be allowed too, there was too mainly factors against her. A dangerous Blood quirk, a vampiric urge to drink blood, a rating of 10-1 on the GAF scale and too many incidents involving violence and suicide attempts, she was too unstable. she knew she had to be realistic but damn it it still fucking hurt.

she was brought out of her thoughts from small tap on her shoulder, spinning around she looked up at the man she had gotten to know pretty well the last few months. Dr. Ichikawa.

He gave her a warm smile before he spoke.

"Ms Midoriya, it's time for our chat today, I trust your all set to get ready?"

smiling in turn she hopped of off the couch.

"Yes! lead the way"

he gave her a kind nod before heading down the hall.and stopping a few minutes later into one of the more nicer rooms in the facility, completely unlike the rest of the building. instead of fake white walls it was a nice wooden room, nice wooden floor with a few rugs here and there, a few soothing paintings, and the most comfy couch she's ever sat on, it was like another world in here and she loved it.

taking a seat across from the man who had his laptop on his lap and a few notebooks on the seat next to him he began.

"So tell me. How are you feeling today? Ms Takashi informed me you felt rather well and optimistic today, which is what? 3 months in a row you've been feeling better?"

she smiled up at him with a hope in his eyes he hadn't really seen in his other patients, one that led him know that she was indeed doing better.

"Yes! I'm doing well, I...had a little moment today when I remembered Himiko but it was more just me missing her and nothing serious, other than that I'm still feeling optimistic and well"

he frowned at that, he knew she cared about that girl, hell from what she had told him and how she talked about her, she loved her, it upset him alot to see her hurting about missing her but he understood how she felt.

"Im truly sorry to hear that Ms Midoriya, I know her absence has left a rather sour mark on you, I sincerely hope you get to see her one day. I only wish I was working here when she was here, I would've loved to meet her."

a sad smile crept upon her lips, she would've liked him, she hated the old doctors and she remembered when she sucker punched one of them for calling her a whore.

he spoke in a more serious tone as he continued, which startled the girl, though the seriousness was followed by, happiness?

"Ms Midoriya I'm going to get to the Point, I've been seeing you for the last 5 months now and I know those earlier months were incredibly rocky with some suicide attempts and self harm but I sincerely believe you have gotten so much better and more stronger control over your emotions and urges well enough that I'm going to sign the release papers to have you out of here."

what? did...did she hear that right?...she was going to be let out??? she couldn't believe what she had just heard, she was shaking and her eyes were quickly watering. she was going to leave??!?!? after 10 Years??!

she jumped out of her seat and grabbed the doctor In a bear hug shocking the man and earning a surprised gasp form the man.

"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!! YOU..YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS MEANS TO ME" tears were streaming down her face as she squeal in delight and relief. she was finlay getting out, she could finally live her life.

the doctor was taken aback by her hug but quickly returned it and gave her a proud, understanding smile, he was happy he got to do this, he honestly didn't know how she was in here for so long, it seemed like no one else cared, he remembered the notes form the last doctor about her, they were disgusting, he felt the man genuinely hated her for her quirk and that made him feel disdain and anger, but right now, right now he was glad to give this young lady her life back.

"I'm so proud of how far you've come, im going to call your mother and let her know so she can come and pick her up ok? go and grab your things and I'll let you know when she's here"

sobbing still she wiped her tears away and sniffling a little, still in disbelief of what was happening.

"o-okay, thank you again, I cant even begin to thank you enough" she still smiled up at him, she wanted to keep saying thank you but knew that would've gotten annoying. so she simply gave the man another hug before she turned and went to gather her things.

she didn't have much, her phone, a few books and hero notebooks, she still made notes and analyses of hero's and villains, it was something of an impulse she had ever since she was younger, even in here, she hadn't shaken it. a hello kitty plushie that her mother got her, and...the one her mother got Himiko, she had introduced them awhile ago and her mother was so happy to see she had made a friend, someone she could talk to.

Her mother hadn't seen her that happy in years, the absolute state of happiness the girl made her feel honestly made her tear up, it was like seeing her little baby girl again, before all this happened. the two of them were so happy and giddy with eachother, and while they never explicitly said what kind if relationship they had, she knew it was more than...friends, it was kind of obvious, she was so happy for her and almost immediately practically accepted Himiko as her daughter. of course...she also remembered what her daughter was like when she left...she had gotten 35 calls form the faculty about her...suicide attempts, self harm. fighting. and every time she cried as she saw her. what was once bright green eyes were dull, cold, sad and lifeless, her lip constantly quivering and her hair a constant knotted mess. the bags under her eyes told her she wasn't sleeping and the scars along her arms confirmed her pain.

She had tried to find the missing girl for the last year, asking her friends and contacts within the hospital she worked at for any information. social media, news, and...nothing...it was like she never existed...she couldn't tell you the malunt of times she visited and all her Precious Izuni did was ball her eyes out crying into her and she begged to get out of there. she was broken and as her mother...had nothing she could do.

Her mother was at home enjoying a day off and getting ready to visit her daughter, she had been doing so well lately, she still had that sorrows full look to her eyes but she was doing do mu h better, she gushed about her doctor and how much he helped her, she was so happy and proud of her. she was brought out of her thoughts with a phone call.

glancing and seeing the Institutes number she paled...they only called when...oh no...

she hurriedly answered in a panick

"H-hello?!"

she heard a voice hadn't heard before, full of kindness and very matter of fact.

"Ah hello Mrs Midoriya! it's Dr. Ichikawa from the Musutafu Mental health ward, I'm just calling you inform you that I've signed your daughters release forms and you can come and pick her up as soon as you can"

Inko couldn't believe what she just heard...was this really happening? was she finally going to have her baby back? she started to sobb hard into the phone without showing any shame.

"I'll!! I'll be right there!! thank you!!!"

she quickly hung up and raced out of her house not even getting changed out of her pjs as she dashed into her car and head straight for the ward.

Izumi sat on her bed playing with the Kuromi plushie that had belonged to Himiko and felt her eyes water as droplets hit the plushie below her.

she was finally getting out, finally getting her life back. she could see her mom every day! she could live again! she could...she could find her...she HAD to find her, she would find her, she know she would.

interrupting her thoughts came a knock at her door as she saw the doctor walk in and gesture outwards.

"Ms Midoriya? she's here"

he gave her another smile before he walked out with her in toe, this was it!!! Home!!! after 10 long excruciating years, 10 long years wasting away here for some bullshit that wasn't even her fault. she almost skipped behind the man as they headed for the exit, walking out the doors she almost passed out as she finally realised that this was indeed real, and not just a dream. she saw her mother down the stairs with her car parked watching her walk down with tears streaming down her face. as she got to her she wrapped her arms around her daughter and began to weep with joy.

"oh izumi! I'm so happy you're coming back, my baby is finally coming back!"

she continued crying into her as izumi was now the one to sob, finally accepting what was happening, after a few moments the doctor beside them spoke up, happiness evident in his voice.

"You have a remarkable daughter Mrs Midoriya, It's been an honour getting to know this fine young woman and to help her in everyway I can. I am so exceptionally proud of her and how far she's come, you've really raised someone with such potential for greatness, I hope you two have a wonderful day together"

as he turned to leave he felt another hug envelope him as he turned to see both of the greenettes hugging him and thanking him.

"Thank you for giving me her back doctor, I will never forget the kindness you showed"

Inko managed to choke that out between sobs. He reciprocated their hug before breaking away and bowing to them.

"it was my pleasure, such a wonderful young lady should be able to live her life to the fullest. now, if you'll excuse me ladies, I do have to get back inside. I'll be in touch though, for the next 6 months I'll be giving you a call bi-weekly" he tuned and walked away with that, saying goodbyes to eachoter as the girls hopped into the car.

man...it had been so long since she was in a car, she hoped she wouldn't throw up. infact she wanted to throw up for the last few hours out of sheer happiness.

her mother started the car engine and took off in the direction of their home.

Izumi stared out the window staring at everything she hadn't been able to see for the last 10 years of her life, crying as she was finally back.

"Izumi, what would you like for dinner?"

a simple question brought her attention back to her mother, one that had not been asked since she was 8. she however already knew what to say.

"Katsudon mama, just like you always made me"

Inkos own tears started once again as she knew she was going to say that, she couldn't believe she was going to make her that dish again.

"I'm going to make the best Katsudon you've ever had ok?" she reached her hand out and gripped her daughters own, both of them so happy this was finally happening.
