Disclaimer: I don't own neither the Kingdom Hearts franchise nor the whole Fate franchise. They are owned by their respective companies.

Author's Note: Yup. This is a crossover between Fate/Grand Order and Kingdom Hearts. After playing Fate/Grand Order I became hooked on the franchise. I was already quite aware of the Fate series for a couple of years now, watched several anime based on it and read some manga, but never really played the game, so I know almost the whole lore of it. The crazy thing about this is that I've had this idea in my head for a while now and was torn between doing a Fate/Grand Order crossover with either Kingdom Hearts or The Legend of Zelda. In fact I was writing a Grand Order and Zelda crossover but stopped when I thought about Kingdom Hearts.

The chemistry between Kingdom Hearts and the Fate series just felt perfect for one another. Parallel worlds, time travel, magic wars. I just had to do this story adding to the fact that there hasn't been any decent Fate/Kingdom Hearts crossover out there yet. I was also torn between choosing Sora and Roxas as one of the main characters for this story until I remembered something. In some of the anime promos for Fate/Grand Order it always showed both male and female versions of Ritsuka Fujimaru to show us that we can play as either characters obviously, while in some of the manga and anime one of the genders is the main character in the media.

So I figured that in a bizarre sense, I can do one where it's Roxas with Gudako and in the other it will be Sora with Gudao.

Plus with Kingdom Hearts IV announced and coming out in two years (Not official, just assuming) this is just my way to celebrate it.

Anyway, this is just an experiment I'm doing just to see some reactions to it and see if I'll continue it.

So enjoy!

Order 1: Welcome to the World of Magecraft

Chapter Image: The image takes place in a grassy open field with a huge ring in the sky. Sora stood in the field, the wind blowing his hood back as he looked back up at the circle in the sky. Spread out around the field were Ritsuka, Mash, Fou and the Servants (Saber, Ruler, Lancer, Rider, Berserker, Caster and Assassin)

Sora looked up at the bright sunny sky of the Final World, watching curiously as the last sparkles of what was once Yozora disappeared, confusion all over his face over what happened and what he meant earlier. He felt himself get tired suddenly, his vision becoming blurry. He tried his hardest to stay awake but he couldn't. It was just like what happened back in the Sleeping Worlds, where he was forced to fall asleep. He fell forward into the water, his eyes slowly closing.

"I…I've been having these…weird thoughts lately. Like is any of this for real…or not? None of this makes any sense to me." He closed his eyes as sleep consumed him once again.

However, if he were to keep his eyes open a little longer, he would've seen somebody walking up to him, and was clapping his hands in amazement. This someone was an old gentleman wearing an expensive black suit.

"Now that was an impressive fight my boy! You really showed that kid who's boss! Had me worried for a second there!" The old man laughed to himself. "Now then, time to wake you up, we got much to talk about." He tapped his cane on the floor and the world was bathed in light.

Sora let out soft groans in his sleep as he furrowed his brows slightly. He slowly opened his eyes, putting his hand on his forehead as he sat up. He saw that he was sleeping on a couch, his shoes gone and that he was in a room. He yawned very loudly, stretching his arms out and rubbing his eyes.

"Well, good morning Sleeping Beauty."

"Morning." Sora mumbled but then blinked rapidly. "Wait…" He looked next to him to see an old man standing from behind the couch and was looking at him with a smile. "WAAHHHH!?" He jumped off the couch, causing him to fall flat on his butt. "Ow!"

The old man let out a good hearted amused laugh at the action. "Sorry for the scare there my boy. Though to be honest, you yourself caught me of all people by surprise by appearing in the clock tower, the way you did."

"Wah? I did?" Sora asked as he stood up after rubbing his butt for several seconds but paused when he heard what the man said. "Wait, a clock tower?" He looked around the room he was in, seeing many books all around, making him think he was in a library. "Is that where I am?"

"Sure is! You've been asleep for seven days since you arrived here."

"Wha-!? Seven days!?" Sora tripped on his feet after the revelation. He's been asleep for seven days?

"Yup. I was wondering when you were gonna wake up. But before we get to that, let's settle with introductions first." The old man said as he walked around the couch to stand in front of Sora, getting his attention. He held his hand out to give Sora a handshake, which he did. "The name's Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg. But you can call me Zelretch. It's a pleasure to meet you Sora."

Sora looked surprised that Zelretch knew who he was. "Um, yeah, it's nice to meet you as well Zelretch. But how do you know my name?" He blinked when the old man let a smug chuckle.

"Well, I don't like to brag, but I'm not just some old man wearing a fancy suit. I happen to be a Wizard Marshal."

"Wizard...Marshal?" Sora asked, crossing his arms and trying to find out what that meant. He never heard of a Wizard Marshal before but if Zelretch is a wizard, doesn't that mean he's like Master Yen Sid and Merlin?

"Well, it's a long story, but the short version of it is, I'm a wizard." Zelretch answered the unasked question. He snapped his fingers and a table with chairs, tea and snacks appeared in an instant making Sora go awe. The older man chuckled at Sora's expression and sat down, gesturing to the young Keyblade Master to join him, which he happily did and started to dig into the cookies. "Now then Sora, before we begin there's something of very importance I have to ask."

Not stopping his eating, Sora turned his attention to Zelretch and nodded his head as he grabbed a cup of tea and drinked it. Zelretch inwardly smirked at the right moment he started drinking his tea and couldn't wait for the reaction. "Are you aware of the existence of other worlds?"

The sudden question made Sora's eyes widened and caused him to spit out the tea in shock as he looked at the laughing Wizard Marshal as he slammed his hands on the table. "Y-You know about other worlds?"

"Of course I do! I'm a Wizard Marshal, remember?" Zelretch asked, his laughter dying a little bit and turning into chuckles. "You see Sora, as the Wizard Marshal, my magic allows me to observe and travel between many worlds and even their many timelines."

"Whoa! Are you serious?!" Sora asked in excitement. That was the coolest thing he's ever heard! Observing different worlds and their timelines? He wasn't even sure if Master Yen Sid and Merlin could do that! "That's awesome!"

Zelretch chuckled at the boy's excitement but then turned serious at what he was about to say next. "In all my long years, I've observed many different worlds, seen many outcomes and did my best to prevent horrible outcomes. But you, my boy, is something I wasn't expecting."

"What do you mean?" Sora asked, surprised by the sudden seriousness of Zelretch. He kind of reminded him of Master Yen Sid right now when speaking like that.

"Sora, while you were sleeping, I used my magic to see through your memories." Zelretch revealed the truth to him, making Sora gasp in surprise. "I was amazed by what I saw. I've seen worlds where there are people like you, people who fight for good and justice. But out of all of them, you are the most unique individual I've ever met." He looked at Sora as though he was a grandson he wished he had and looked quite proud of him. "That Keyblade of yours did very well in choosing a person like you to wield it."

Sora smiled sheepishly and felt thankful for the kind words Zelretch said to him, but there's something that he wanted to know. "So Zelretch, since you say you've traveled between worlds can you-"

"I'm sorry." The Wizard Marshal stopped Sora right there. "But I'm afraid I won't be able to send you back from whence you came."

"What?! But why?" Sora asked, obviously upset by that. If Zelretch said he could visit other worlds then doesn't that mean he should be able to send him back! So what was the problem?

"Sora, the worlds I observe are worlds that exist in my universe not yours." Zelretch could see the confusion on Sora's face as he said that, so he explained. "While it's true that there are billions of worlds out there, what you don't know is that there are worlds that exist in universes. Universes that's completely different from our own." Sora's eyes widened. "The world that you're currently in isn't part of your reality but is a part of mine. You see, the worlds in this reality each hold a Holy Grail War."

Sora tensed up slightly at hearing the term 'war' but was also a little confused and curious by what he said. "Holy what war?"

"Holy Grail War. It's an all out battle royale where seven Masters and their Servants have to fight each other to death…"

"WHAT?!" Sora yelled, standing up in shock as he looked horrified. "People are making their servants fight and kill each other!?"

"Allow me to explain." Zelretch said calmly after sipping his tea. "When I say Servants it's not the kind you're thinking about. The Masters are seven mages using their magecraft to summon their Servants. These Servants are called Heroic Spirits, legendary heroes who've done great deeds in their life and became worshiped after their death."

Sora's eyes widened from the implication of what the old wizard was saying. "You mean…Heroic Spirits are heroes who died but they were brought back to life to only participate in the Holy Grail War?" Zelretch nodded. "And these mages are making these heroes fight and kill each other until only a single pair is left. That's...horrible!" It sickened him greatly to know that such a thing exists in this world. "But why!? Why are they fighting and killing each other in this war!?"

"It's to win the Holy Grail, hence the war's name." Sora blinked, obviously confused by what he meant, which made Zelretch snap his fingers. "Right, you don't know what that is. The Holy Grail is a magic cup that has the power to grant a wish."

"A wish?" Sora asked, his face so full of disbelief. "They're fighting and killing each other over a cup that can grant just one wish?" He couldn't believe that such a thing even exists in this world or any kind of world for that matter. He thought the Keyblade War was bad enough, but this Holy Grail War almost sounds worse since there's basically a prize for whoever is left standing.

"Yup." Zelretch popped the 'p'. "Each Holy Grail that exists is in fact a solidified mass of pure magical energy, which reacts to the wishes of the one who holds it in order to grant them; however, on their own they are not capable of generating true miracles without outside intervention. Still, as I said earlier, there are each Holy Grail War that has its own system and rituals with the Holy Grails still being the same. In larger Holy Grail Wars, there are Greater Holy Grail acting at the core of the ritual and Lesser Holy Grails acting as the catalyst to start the Greater Grail through collecting the defeated Servants"

"...I can't believe it." Sora said, looking down and feeling sad for the heroes being forced to fight in such a war. "So many heroes come back to life only to die again just because their masters want to get a wish granted? That's just…crazy."

"It is. Now do you see the difference between our realities?" Zelretch asked, his tone softened up as he stared at the Keyblader, already knowing what he's feeling about the Holy Grail War. "For one, there is no realm of light, darkness or between where the worlds are placed in. Same goes for Heartless, Nobodies, Dream Eaters and most definitely that Keyblade of yours. I promise you this, a lot of people in the world of mages would kill to have that kind of weapon."

"Yeah, I bet." Sora mumbled, thinking back to when Organization XIII used him to collect hearts.

"But don't worry too much about them!" Zelretch said, slapping Sora on the back, making him stumble a little. "No matter what comes your way, you'll be able to overcome the odds, right?"

Sora blinked but then smiled. "Hehe, right! So, there's really no way for me to go back, huh?"

"Sorry, son." Zelretch smiled apologetically at him. "Even with my magic, I couldn't find your world, for it exists on the other side of reality. If I could have my way, I would've sent you back home just like that."

Sora however shook his head and smiled softly at the Wizard Marshal. "No, it's okay. I mean I was already prepared for it, and Kairi and the others are safe now, so I'm fine with this."

Zelretch nodded in understanding as he patted the young Keyblade wielder's shoulder. "Spoken words from someone as young as you. But don't forget, you have a whole lot of friends who love and cherish you very much. There's no doubt in my mind that they're trying to find a way to bring you back home."

"You...really think so?" Sora asked, looking up at Zelretch with surprise. He wasn't expecting to hear something like that coming from him. After all, the two of them did just meet.

"I know so." Zelretch reassured him before smiling happily. "Now don't look so glum! Even though it'll take a while, I know for certain your friends will find their way to you eventually!"

Sora smiled equally at that. Zelretch was right! He believed in his friends! He followed his heart to all of them, now it's their turn to follow their hearts to him. "So what happens now?"

"What do you mean? You'll be going on a new adventure!"

"Wait, wha-?!"

Zelretch grabbed Sora by his shoulders and practically dragged him somewhere, the table with the snacks and tea vanished as they left the room. The young wielder looked confused as they made their way down a hallway, his mind wondering about what Zelretch meant when he said he'll be going on a new adventure? Where was he going?

"As I said, each reality has their own set of unique worlds." Zelretch started his explanation as he continued to drag Sora through the hallway. "Here in this reality, unlike the worlds you've traveled in, there exist parallel worlds that are similar yet also different from one another. Each of those parallel worlds have their own Holy Grail Wars that take place in certain eras while some take place in alternate timelines of that world."

"That's...a lot of Holy Grail Wars." Sora commented. He was still angry that they were people who summon legendary heroes and use those heroes just to fight for a wish granting cup of all things. "And you've seen all of them?"

"Indeed I have." Zelretch, who found the door he was looking for, opened it with a wave of his hand and entered it. "But if I see something in those worlds that I don't like, then I…let's just say I tend to meddle with that world's affairs." His tone was playful when he said that as he sent a knowing look at Sora's way, who only grumbled. "Don't get me wrong, I take this job very seriously. While I can understand this 'World Order' that you Keyblade wielders and world travelers must follow at all times, you don't have to worry about following it here."

"Really?" Sora asked, once again surprised by the older man's words. Donald and Goofy had to keep reminding him to always follow the World Order during their last adventure. It was kinda hard having to come up with a lie when asked where they came from like what happened when they first arrived at Atlantica.

"Yes. This World Order of yours is like a double-edged sword." Zelretch said. "While you can't reveal the existence of other worlds is understandable but not meddling with that world's affairs? That's something unacceptable!" Sora's eyes widened as he saw the angry look on Zelretch's face. It was kinda off putting seeing the angry look on his face. "Outsiders or not, if you see something wrong then it's only right for you to stay and help them solve the problem, World Order be damned!"

The Wizard Marshal was recalling the moment when Donald and Goofy did not want to help little Alice out with that false trial she was placed under, all because that would be meddling and "against the rules" as Goofy said. It's one of many reasons why the Wizard Marshal liked Sora, as the boy didn't care for such rules. If he sees someone or even a world in trouble, he will go and help them.

But Donald and Goofy? The mage did not like those two buffoons, for they did not leave a very good impression during their first adventure. The duck and dog had the absolute gall to abandon the poor boy, a then fourteen year old, by himself after he lost his Keyblade to Riku just so they could follow their King's mission back in Hollow Bastion. They had better be very lucky that the Beast was there with him through it all, for if he were to lose his heart to the Heartless, then their world would've been lost a long time ago all because they wanted to follow their mission.

"Um…"

Sora had no idea what to say about that, too stunned by what Zelretch said to give a response. For a wizard who observed many worlds, he was someone who did not like to follow the rules much unlike Yen Sid, who followed the rules strictly and sternly. The Keyblade wielder felt his feet touch the floor and Zelretch removed his arm around his shoulders. He realized that they were in a spherical room of sorts. It is jet black in appearance, dotted with points of light resembling stars. Within the center of the room was floating a wooden chair, but there was something extravagant about. It almost seemed like it was a throne of sorts.

Zelretch walked up to the chair as it floated down in front of him and sat on it. He waved his hand as a book appeared floating in front of him. The moment it did, the whole room lit up like a light show and started to change, making Sora jump a bit and stumble on his feet as he saw he was floating in what he assumed to be the Lanes Between. Not only that, he saw floating balls of light appear all around him, making him look around at them in awe.

"Wow! This is awesome!" Sora commented on excitement as he poked one of the points of light with his finger, surprising him as it went through. He looked toward Zelretch and saw him smiling in amusement at him. "Is this how you see other worlds?"

"That it is!" Zelretch showed Sora the hovering book. "Think of this book as an encyclopedia. It contains tens of thousands of pages of information on the different worlds and their specifications, right down to the characteristics of a single person."

"Cool! I don't even think Yen Sid's huge book contains that many pages!" Sora said in amazement as he looked up at the various points of light in the room. He was startled as he felt the room rotate and the points of light move in different directions.

"Now, there's a world out there that needs your help." Zelretch said, flipping through various pages. "In this world, humanity itself is on the very brink of extinction."

"Wha-? Extinction?!" Sora turned to the Wizard Marshall with a horrified expression.

"Yes. Human history is being threatened by a number of Singularities that are appearing throughout various eras. As long as these Singularities remain, then humanity and the world itself will be destroyed." Zelretch informed him as the book landed on a page he was searching for. "Right now, there is a secret organization that is working very hard to stop these Singularities and restore history. The organization is called Chaldea."

"Chaldea…" Sora said, letting the name roll off his tongue as he looked at the new arrangements of the pointed lights.

"With Chaldea's advance technology they're able to Rayshift, or time travel, to these Singularities in order to find the cause of it and fix it, restoring human history to what it was." The old mage continued on. "That's where you come in, Sora."

"Me?" Sora asked, pointing at himself.

"Yes. With you and your Keyblade, I believe you'll be able to give Chaldea a fighting chance to help them stop these Singularities and find the ones responsible for it." Zelretch said, staring at Sora with a serious look. "But I should warn you, the enemies you'll be fighting in these Singularities won't just be the various monsters and beasts, you will also be fighting powerful Servants who will no doubt try to hinder you. Never underestimate them and let your guard down."

"Got it." Sora nodded, a serious look on his face. "Don't worry Zelretch. If there's a world in danger then I'm going to do everything in my power to help them."

Zelretch nodded happily then blinked and looked as though he just realized something as he placed his fingers on his forehead and shook his head. "Wait, I'm telling this to the kid who already fought against monsters, villains, and a bald 80 something year old man who wielded the most powerful weapon in the universe. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine."

Sora slumped forward by what Zelretch said but then chuckled sheepishly. Wow. One moment he's talking like Master Yen Sid, the next he's speaking so carefree like that. This old man was really something else, wasn't he?

"Now, before I send you on your way, I believe it's time to restart your training." The Wizard Marshal said as he sat up from his chair, making it float upwards with the book disappearing at the same time. He walked up to Sora.

"Huh?! Restart my training? Why?" Sora asked before his eyes widened in realization. "Oh…right."

"Yup. You're back to square one." Zelretch said. "Like Chirithy told you, because you used the power of waking the way you did, not only were you kicked out of your world, you also lost your powers, including the power of waking itself. Good news is that you still have the equipment and materials you've collected throughout your last journey, except for your Heartbinders." He gave Sora a teasing smile. "Sheesh, what is this: the third or fourth time this happened to you now?"

Sora looked at Zelretch before he counted his fingers, thinking back on the times he had to relearn everything. The first time it happened was when he woke up, the second was when Yen Sid had him and Riku relearn everything from the scratch, and the third time was when Xehanort nearly made him his vessel and stripped him of the power he gained from the Sleeping Worlds.

"I think this is the third time."

Ah, so he still doesn't remember Castle Oblivion. Oh well, the Wizard Marshal will just leave it as is.

"Well anyhoo! Let's get going!" Zelretch once again grabbed Sora by the shoulder and dragged him out the Observation room.

"Hey! I can walk, you know?!" Sora complained at having to get dragged again with Zelretch not paying it no mind whatsoever as he continued to drag him into another room.

The two of them were now in another. But to Sora, it didn't even look like a room. It was…white. The room they were in was completely white. There was literally nothing inside it, just a blank white space. What was this place?

"This is the Training Room." Zelretch answered Sora's unasked question as he closed the door behind him. "This is where Mages who come to the Clock Tower go to train in their magecrafts. The reason it looks like this is because I made it like this."

"Whoa! Your magic is really cool, Zelretch!" Sora said, excitedly.

"Of course it is! That's because I'm the coolest wizard you'll ever meet!" Zelretch boosted, walking forward, his steps echoing in the empty space. "Here in this space, I'm going to put you through various trials to see what you still know, from your combat skills, magic, and movement. Think of it as a tutorial from a video game."

"Gotcha!" Sora said, looking eager to get started. "So when do I start?"

"Right now." Zelretch snapped his fingers and the room instantly transformed.

Instead of being an empty white space, the room now turned into a town of sorts, complete with a blue sky. Sora looked around with amazement at seeing this happen. What just happened?! The room turned into a town! He's seen plenty of magic before, but he's never seen magic like this! This was awesome!

The town he was in looked medieval with the buildings looking beige with some of them made of stone bricks and all of the rooftops are colored orange.

"Oh man! This is so cool!" Sora exclaimed, turning to Zelretch but then flinched slightly when he saw he was gone. "Zelretch? Hey! Zelretch! Where'd you go?"

"Don't worry kid. I'm still here." Sora jumped at hearing the loud voice as he looked up at the sky. It sounded like he was in the room but in another area. "Get ready, because your training is starting now."

Before Sora could even ask where he was, he heard something moving. He looked around to see nothing but he still heard the sound of movement, making him take a ready stance. He yelled in surprise when he saw a skeleton hand rise out from the ground with multiple hands doing the same.

Skeletons wielding different weapons and wearing colored cloaks jumped out of the ground, all of them glaring at Sora as they made hissing sounds at him while the young wielder looked at them with a nervous smile.

"Um, don't suppose you guys are related to Jack Skeleton, right?" The skeletons didn't answer as they readied their swords and spears. "Guess not!"

One of the skeletons carrying a sword charged at Sora, jumping in the air to give him a downward slash. Sora summoned his Kingdom Key in a flash of golden lights and struck the skeleton down, making it disappear in dark violet smoke.

"Heh! Too easy!" Sora smirks, turning to the skeletons as they growled at him. "You want me, come and get me!"

The skeletons immediately charged at Sora who did the same and began their attack. The skeleton army did not stand the chance as they were all destroyed. The next enemy that showed up was a large green dragon with wings for arms.

The dragon roared at Sora as it shot a fireball at him, which he avoided by jumping backwards and he aimed his keyblade at the flying reptile. He focused his energy on the enemy and once he had a clear shot, he executed his special attack Ragnarok. He leaps high into the air, his outfit changing into his Second Form, and fires streams of brilliant light at the flying beast.

The winged reptile screeched in pain as the projectiles hit it, making it fall to the surface. Sora immediately went in for the attack, striking the dragon's head multiple times causing it to growl before it let out a roar that blew Sora away. The dragon flapped its wings and took off flying, leaving Sora behind.

"Where do you think you're going?!" Sora gave chase to the dragon, a blue aura flowing off of him as he used his Flowmotion to jump from building to building in order to catch up.

Meanwhile, Zelretch watched as Sora chased the wyvern while also trying to land some attacks and block the fireballs it shot at him. Even though he's already seen the boy's memories and saw his battle with Yozora, he was still liking what he was seeing. Sora's long experience in combat has certainly grown a lot compared to when he was 14, even though on several occasions he's lost some of those experiences due to various reasons. But this immortal wizard knows that the young Keyblade wielder still has more room to grow. After all, when he journeyed into the Sleeping Worlds he learned those Flowmotion techniques and could execute them perfectly when he returned. It's just too bad that Xehanort ruined his chance to keep the incredible magic he learned while he was there. His potential in magic was definitely showing while in the Sleeping Worlds.

Ah! The boy just used a Blizzard spell and shot it inside the Wyverns mouth, destroying it. Looks like the boy still has his magic, though it looks like they've gone back to their first tier levels. He was impressed with the type of magic the boy has learned throughout his adventures along with their variations. He watched as demonic boar beasts showed up and Sora started the battle by shooting a Fire spell at them.

"It's quite amazing how the boy always learns those four spells first before learning something new." Zelretch thought, feeling amused by that.

During Sora's first adventure, he learned the basic Fire, Blizzard, Thunder and Cure magic. After that he would learn various other types like Gravity, Stop, and Aero that he used to defend himself. In his adventure through Castle Oblivion he learned powerful magic by using a set of combinations by using the cards of his memories.

In his second adventure, he relearned the four magic from his first adventure but now learned new magic like Magnet, Reflect. In the Sleeping Worlds, he had to start over from scratch and learn how to properly wield the Keyblade, meaning he had to learn new abilities and magic but still lost most of them because of Xehanort. Then in his last journey, he learned the four magics once again, also relearning his Aero magic, and learned the new Water magic. He also even learned about Grand Magic which he uses after learning the third higher tier level spells.

But now it looks like the boy only knows the Fire, Blizzard, Thunder and Cure. Those four seem to be recurring magic that Sora tends to learn before learning some new magic. As much as he wants to teach Sora some new magic, it would be impossible. While Sora does have magic energy, the problem is that he doesn't have Magic Circuits in his nervous system as it doesn't exist in his reality, same goes for the Root. With the Keyblade, he is able to execute his spells as it serves as a conduit for magic, and if he runs out, it'll take him only a couple of minutes for him to regain his energy.

Sora's world is most certainly incredible and was like that of a true fantasy world, it doesn't help that most of the worlds he visits looked like they were cartoons, except for the Caribbean for obvious reasons. Speaking of, why the hell didn't nobody in that world say anything about Donald and Goofy when they first arrived there? Those two along with their King look like they should be in a cartoon yet nobody there said anything about how they look. Hell, Sora and them even commented that the Caribbean world felt different from the worlds they visited.

He needs to find a way to get there.

"Hey! Zelretch!" Sora's voice called out. "I think I got all the enemies! Am I done?"

"Not yet, kiddo." Zelretch said. "Now that you dealt with the small fry, let's see how you deal with the boss."

"Boss?" Sora asked.

His question was answered in the form of a sinister purple glowing symbol appearing on the ground several feet away from him. The glowing symbol rose up from the ground and Sora could see someone was appearing from below the symbol and it disappeared. That someone was a silhouette of a woman with faint violet smoke surrounding her. The woman also seemed to be carrying a sword.

"Um, Zelretch? Who or what is that?" Sora asked.

"That Sora is a Shadow Servant." Zelretch answer. "Think of them as fake versions of a Servant. While they may be fake, they're still just as strong as the real thing. This will be your final test."

The Shadow Servant's eyes opened up to show they were glowing red and it was glaring at him as it readied its sword to battle.

"A Shadow Servant, huh?" Sora asked as he took his stance. "Okay! Bring it on!" The two charged at each other, sword and key clashing against one another.

Zelretch watched the battle unfold and was most impressed. Despite losing some of his power, the kid was still able to go toe-to-toe against a Shadow Servant. He wasn't kidding though when he said that they were just as strong as normal Servants despite being fakes. Most inexperienced mages would have trouble trying to take those things down but that doesn't seem to be the case for the young Keyblade Master.

Yup, even though Sora failed the Mark of Mastery thanks to Xehanort's interference, Zelretch already see's Sora as a true Keyblade Master. Every journey he took, every villain and monsters he faced, and for every new form of power he gained due to certain circumstances, Sora was already a Keyblade Master in his own way and this battle was showing it.

Every successful strike he blocks from the Shadow Servant, he would always execute a perfect counterattack with a follow up combo attack. He would even dodge roll out of the way when the Shadow Servant was about to perform a powerful attack.

Remarkably, the battle ended just as Zelretch had hoped. After Sora dodged that last attack, he defeated the Shadow Servant with a running slash attack. The Shadow Servant remained still for a moment but then it fell forward and vanished. Sora happily twirled his Keyblade in his hand and sat it on his shoulder, rubbing his fist across his nose.

"Hahaha! Most impressive Sora!" Zelretch said, appearing behind Sora and slapping him on the back, pushing him forward slightly. "You still got it!"

"Was there ever any doubt?" Sora asked, a playful smirk on his face.

"None!" Zelretch answered, smirking back. "Alright kid, I've seen everything and I'm proud to say that you're ready to go. Now, let's go get you ready!"

"Cool!"

The two were back in the Observation Room, the coordinates for the world Sora was going to already set and ready. Sora stood in front of Zelretch who sat in his chair.

"Remember Sora. Chaldea is already aware of the existence of other worlds, but like I said earlier, the worlds here are different from the ones in your reality so you don't have to worry about following the world order." Zelretch said. "This journey will be drastically different from the ones you've been on before. You will see many tragedies, fight in terrifying conflicts and you will encounter certain Servants who may seem familiar to you but are different versions of them. However, you will not be alone on this journey, for Humanity's Final Master and Chaldea will be with you all the way."

Sora didn't say anything to that but he did nod his head to show that he understood what was in store for him.

"Good. Now, I'm going to send you straight to where Chaldea is at." Zelretch told him. "Right now, they're in Singularity F, where the Fourth Holy Grail War took place in a city called Fuyuki. Chaldea is currently en route to the core of the Singularity which is being guarded by a Servant called Saber, who's real name is King Arthur."

Sora looked confused. "Saber? King Arthur?" He didn't know why but that Arthur name sounded familiar to him for some reason.

"When Heroic Spirits are summoned as Servants in a Holy Grail War, they are placed in different classes to hide their True Identity so as the others won't learn what their weakness is." The Wizard Marshal answered. "I would like to explain more but sadly, we don't have much time. Any questions that you have about the Holy Grail Wars, Servants and the likes, Chaldea will have the answers for you."

"Okay, so all we gotta do is beat this Arthur guy, get this grail from him and the Singularity disappears?" Sora asked.

"Exactly." Zelretch smiled that Sora understood that. "Now, are you ready to go?"

"You bet!" Sora nodded, looking ready to go.

"Good!" Zelretch raised his hand and snapped his fingers, making a blue portal-like door open up behind Sora, who looked back at it in surprise. "Now, go forth, Keyblade Master! Chaldea is waiting for you! And one more thing!"

"Hm?"

"Welcome to the World of Magecraft!" Zelretch said as he stood up and spread his arms out wide.

Sora was surprised by those words but smiled happily and nodded anyway. "Right! Thanks for everything Zelretch! See you later!" He turned to the blue portal and ran forward, disappearing inside it as it vanished, leaving Zelretch by himself as he smiled.

"Sora. You are a unique individual who has touched so many hearts and formed many friendships. For that, while you were asleep, I gave you a special gift. If it's you, you may even be able to save those who couldn't escape their fate in that world. May your heart be your guiding key, young one." Zelretch said in a soft tone but then chuckled to himself in amusement. "I should've told the kid to prepare his heart as well for what's coming to him, because he's going to be winning a lot of hearts during this journey! Hohoho, Kairi is going to have lots of competition!" He laughed out loud at that as he could already imagine the situation that Sora is going to get himself into.

Still he had to ask himself; Why was he brought here instead of this Quadratum world that supposedly exists on this side? Was it an accident that Sora was brought here…or did the "Master of Masters" already see this happened already using that eye of his and write it in his book? Either way, Zelretch will find out and see what this man's scheme is for Sora.

And he will eliminate him once he does. Both him and his apprentices who hold the seven powerful darknesses.

Singularity F: Fuyuki City-Year 2004 (Fuyuki Holy Grail War)

Hiding underneath the bridge, Ritsuka Fujimaru and his companions, which consisted of the Demi-servant Mash Kyrielight, the Director of Chaldea Olga Marie Animusphere, the head of Chaldea's medical department Dr. Romani Archaman, Servant Caster Cú Chulainn and the mysterious little creature called Fou, were having a meeting about the last two Servants they will have to fight in Singularity F in order to win the Holy Grail War and get the corrupted Greater Grail from Saber.

The Chaldea group has just finished taking down Lancer while learning from Caster that he had already taken care of the rest of the servants except for Berserker for obvious reasons. All that was left was to take down Saber and Archer who were hiding out in the heart of Fuyuki City, the mountain side.

As the group set out to make it towards an abandoned school building, Fou's head suddenly shot up along with his ears.

"Fou!" The noise he made caught everyone's attention.

"What's wrong Fou?" Ritsuka asked, blinking curious as the little white creature jumped off his shoulder and ran ahead of them while looking up at the night sky.

"Fou! Fou! Fou, fou! Fou!"

Everyone looked at the furry little creature with confusion, each of them wondering what the little guy was getting so worked up for. They got their answer when they heard alarms blaring from the computers in Chaldea thanks to the holographic call from Dr. Romani.

"HUH?!" Romani cried out in shock as he turned his attention to the readings and saw something that surprised him. That alone caught everyone's attention away from Fou to him. "W-What in the world is this!?"

"Romani! What's going on now?!" Olga asked, or more like demanded, wondering why the alarms were going off in Chaldea and why he was freaking out. It's just one thing after the freaking other on this crazy day she's having!

"There's an extremely powerful energy reading appearing in Singularity F! What's more, it's an inter-dimensional anomaly!" Romani said, which shocked everyone present.

"What?! An inter-dimensional anomaly?! Is it a Servant from another universe!?" Olga asked, standing up in alarm. Caster and Mash were already gearing up to fight while Ritsuka looked ready to help them out.

"No! It's…"

"FOU, FOU!"

Everyone looked towards Fou and saw he was looking up at the sky. They looked up to see what he was looking at only to look shocked and surprised when they saw a yellow light appear in the sky and it took the shape of a giant glowing keyhole. The glow of the keyhole was so bright, it actually brightened up the city and made small sparkles come out from it.

"What in the world?" Olga asked, wide eyed.

"Oh my gosh." Mash whispered, feeling mesmerized at seeing such a thing in the sky.

"What's that?" Ritsuka asked in awe.

Cú looked curious and honestly amazed by this whole situation. This was something you don't see in a Holy Grail War. First all the Servants were beaten and blackened by Saber, then this group called Chaldea shows up, now this? This Holy Grail War is seriously something else.

"This light…" Cú said. He could feel it. A very powerful light was coming from that keyhole and it was making his way to his heart. But this light…it felt different from the magecraft element he was more familiar with. This light gave him…a sense of hope.

In the distance, a man looked on with amazement. It wasn't just the keyhole that amazed him, but the magical energy that it was releasing. The energy was different from the regular magical energy he was more familiar with.

The man placed a hand on his heart as he felt something touch him there. It was a feeling he thought he would never feel again and it was making the blackening acting up. It was hope. He looked up at the keyhole once again, his eyes narrowed.

"Something's coming."

Meanwhile, in a massive open space within a cave, stood a young woman in heavy, black knight armor with red lines running along it. Her hair was pale gold and tied up into a bun at the back and her skin was pale enough to make one question whether she was alive or not. In front of her, in both hands was a black and red longsword pierced into the ground. She opened her golden eyes, her gaze like that of a dragon, upon sensing a powerful energy. Even if she was a cold who willingly drowned herself in darkness, the energy she felt was bright and warm. Like it was reaching out to her heart and pulling her out of the darkness she was in.

"What is this…? This power?"

Back with the Chaldea group, before anyone could say or comment anything about the mysterious phenomenon that was happening, they saw what looked like a blue comet shoot out of the keyhole and was making its way towards them.

Wait a minute!

"Quick! Everyone get out of the way!" Olga called out. She, Fujimaru and Fou ran away while Mash and Cú jumped back to avoid the blue comet, which crashed and landed right on the spot where they were, making a cloud of dirt and dust rise up. The glowing keyhole was gone the moment it shot out the blue comet.

The group immediately prepared themselves for battle as they saw the silhouette of someone inside the cloud, thinking it was a Servant. They heard the person coughing out the cloud of dirt and was using their hands to wipe it away.

"Talk about a crash landing. Sheesh." The person continued to cough as they walked out of the cloud of smoke, revealing themselves to the group.

It was a boy who looked to be the same age as Fujimaru and Mash. He has spiky brown hair, blue eyes, tanned skin, and a lanky build. His outfit is most certainly unique and something that they've never seen before.

He wears a black jacket with gray pockets and a stripe of the same color on each sleeve. The hood, sleeves and jacket have a red lining, and six buttons can be seen on the front. Underneath, he wears a black tank top with a V-neck style collar and a white lining. His gloves are replaced with gauntlets with a similar color scheme to his jacket. The gauntlets have red linings and gray circles on the backs, with yellow buckled straps wrapped around Sora's wrists. The palms of his hands are exposed.

His shorts are black with several gray pockets and a red band wraps around each pant leg. His shoes are black-yellow and he wore a silver crown necklace.

As the mysterious boy continued to cough out the cloud of dirt, he opened his eyes to see them. He blinked at them as he looked at each of them while they themselves looked curious about the boy. The boy then smiled and walked towards them.

"Hey there! Are you guys with Chaldea by any chance?" The boy was about to take another step but jumped back when Olga fired something at his feet. He looked at the black spot then back at her to see she had her finger aimed at him as though it was a gun. He quickly raised his hands in the air. "Whoa! Whoa! What was that for!?"

"Hey, hold on a second Director!" Ritsuka tried to tell her.

"Stay still and be quiet!" The boys did as ordered as Olga walked up to the boy in the odd yet very cool looking outfit, her 'gun' still aimed at him. "Now, I'm gonna ask you some questions, and I want you to answer them. Got it?"

Sora gulped and nodded his head.

"Good. First question; Who are you?"

"I'm Sora." Sora introduced himself, smiling nervously at him.

"Okay, Sora. Second question; Are you a Servant?"

"Huh? No way! I'm not a magic ghost!" His reply made everyone fall back slightly, obviously not expecting him to call Servants something like "magic ghosts".

"M-Magic ghosts…?" Mash asked, a little put off by the title.

"I mean, when you think about it, that's what Servants are right?" Sora asked.

"Well, he's not wrong." Cú said with a half lidded expression as he tapped his staff on his shoulder. "But word of advice kid: Don't call Servants magic ghosts in front of their face." He scratched his head in irritation and closed his eyes. "I'm getting a strange sense of deja vù and a growing hatred towards hedgehogs when I hear that phrase."

Everyone paused at that as they stared at Caster with their brows raised.

"...h-hedgehogs?" Ritsuka asked.

"Like I said, strange feelings." Cú shrugged his shoulders.

"Fou! Fou!" Fou ran towards Sora, getting his attention as he climbed up to his shoulders. He sniffed his face a couple of times and then licked his cheek.

"Hahaha! Hey! Cut it out! That tickles!" Sora laughed as Fou continued to lick him before jumping on his spiky hair. He looked up at the funny looking creature, seeing that it reminded him of his Dream Eater friends.

Everyone immediately lowered their guard as they watched Sora play with Fou as he tried to grab him, though the little squirrel-like creature would avoid him. Olga meanwhile looked stupefied by the strange boy. Here she was pointing her 'gun' at him, yet here he is playing around

"See, Director? He's friendly." Ritsuka stated as Olga huffed as she lowered her 'gun'.

"We still don't know anything about him!"

"But look. Fou is playing with him." Mash said. "He never plays with anyone aside from me and Senpai."

"Plus, the kid looks a little bit on the goofy side." Cú added in. "Gotta admit, though, I'm digging that outfit of his. Gotta ask him where he got it from later."

"Alright! Alright! I get it!" Olga exclaimed, feeling quite annoyed that everyone is taking a liking to the new guy. She looked to Sora and saw him stopping what he was doing with Fou as he finally caught him and gave her his attention.

"So um…what are your names?" Sora asked curiously.

"Oh sorry about that." Ritsuka walked up to Sora and held his hand out to him. "It's nice to meet you Sora. I'm Ritsuka Fujimaru."

"Yeah! Nice to meet you too Ritsuka!" Sora let Fou ride his shoulder as he shook Ritsuka's hand.

"Hello, Sora. I'm Mash Kyrielight." Mash introduced herself next as Fou jumped off of Sora's shoulder and onto hers. "This is Fou."

"Fou!" Fou greeted him.

"Hey kid. Name's Cú Chulainn, but call me Caster." Cú introduced himself, confusing Sora.

"...Caster? Oh! You're a Servant, right?" Cú nodded his head.

Olga huffed again and crossed his arms underneath her chest. "I'm the Director of Chaldea, Olga Marie Animusphere."

"HUH?! You're the director!?" Sora asked, completely surprised.

"Hey! What's with your reaction!?" Olga asked.

"N-Nothing! I was just surprised! That's all!" Sora said as chuckled nervously. He wasn't honestly expecting to run into Chaldea's leader of people here in this place.

Olga sighed to herself as everyone else chuckled behind her. She already knew this Sora kid was going to give her a headache as if Fujimaru was bad enough. "Now then. What are you doing here and how is it that you know about Chaldea?"

She will admit though. If this kid would call Servants something as stupid as magic ghosts then it's obvious to her that he wasn't a threat. He might even just be a tad bit stupid in her honest opinion.

"I'm here to help you guys out." Sora answered, his answer once again surprising everyone. "Zelretch told me what was going on in this world and-"

"Wait a second. Did you just say Zelretch?" Olga interrupted Sora, her eyes widening. "As in Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg?"

"Yeah. You know him?"

"WHHHHAT!?" Romani's voice called out, surprising everyone by the sudden yell as his hologram appeared in front of Sora, scaring him a little bit.

"AAAH! What the?!"

"Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg?!" Romani asked. "The most infamous wizard marshal in the Mage Association, the wizard who has great mastery over the Second Magic, you know him?!"

"Well…kind of." Sora answered. "I met him in his Clock Tower and he told me that this world was in trouble. So I came here to help you guys out." He looked out towards the city and saw it was burning up in a huge sea of fire, frowning slightly. "It looks like he was right."

Everyone shared his expression as well. Before Romani could elaborate further on the subject of the wizard Marshal, something interrupted them.

"RAAAAAAAGHHHH!"

The sudden loud roar made everyone jump in surprise as it echoed out somewhere in the city. They could also see a car flying through the air and crashing into a large building.

"What was that?!" Sora asked, looking on as the building exploded in a massive heap of flames.

"Shit! Berserker!" Cú cursed. "He must've seen the light show and is coming here to check it out!"

"Come on! We have to leave before he shows up!" Olga said. She and the others ran ahead, leaving Sora behind as he continued to watch the building burn and then noticed everyone was leaving without him. He ran after them.

"Hey! Wait for me!"

The group were now standing on the roof of a high school, some of them catching their breaths. Thankfully they didn't run to any monsters on the way, probably too focused on dealing with Berserker. Once they were in the clear, Olga immediately went to Sora to question him about the Wizard Marshal along with Romani. After a quick introduction to Chaldea's medical doctor, Sora was telling them about his meeting with the old wizard.

"So yeah. That's it." Sora said as he scratched the back of his head. "Zelretch told me some stuff about these Holy Grail Wars and that humanity was in extinction in this world because of these Singularities things. He said if I had any questions, I should ask you guys."

"I-I still can't believe it!" Romani exclaimed. "You actually met Zelretch the Wizard Marshal and he brought you here!? That should be impossible! Nobody in the Mage Association hasn't even seen him in years!"

"Is he really that famous?" Ritsuka asked, since this was the first time he was hearing about such a person.

"Famous?! He's a legend in the mage world!" Roman said. "He's probably the only person in the Mage Association to actually master Second Magic, which allows someone to travel into different worlds!"

"Really!? He can do that?" Ritsuka was shocked to hear that someone can actually travel to other worlds.

"Yup! I've seen how he does it too." Sora said, placing his hands behind his head.

"On top of that, nobody knows how but Mr. Zelretch was somehow able to obtain immortality through unknown means." Mash took over the explanation. "So he's been around for a very long time though nobody has seen him as he always jumps from world to world and would sometimes meddle with that world's affairs."

Sora looked surprised and shocked to find out the old wizard was immortal. "Whaaat? I didn't know he was immortal! Talk about a crazy revelation!"

While everyone was talking, Olga was leaning on a railing, getting her thoughts over what she learned. She never imagined the old wizard would send someone to help them out with saving humanity. Like Romani said earlier during his freak out, Zelretch was both famous and infamous in the world of mages. He had a weird personality that made everyone in the Mage Association either dislike or admire him especially since he always cripple his pupils. But nobody has seen or heard from the wizard in years because according to the association he has the power to hop between worlds thanks to his mastery over Second Magic.

But that just leads to more questions. Why Sora, specifically? What was so special about this boy that the wizard marshal would send him to help them out in saving humanity?

"Still though, kid. Rushing off to help save a world that's not even your own." Caster said, an amused smile on his face. "You either have a lot of guts or you're a complete fool to put yourself in a dangerous situation."

"Hey! I've been through dangerous situations before and I made it out okay!" Sora argued at the older man before he smiled confidently. "Besides, I'm a hero! World saving is what I do!"

"Really?" Ritsuka asked, surprised by what he said, along with the others including Olga. "You make it sound like you saved more than one world."

"Let's save that story for later." Sora told everyone. "Believe me, it's crazy long."

Olga stared at him flatly before she sighed. "Alright, fine. Once we're back at Chaldea, I want to hear your full story. Understand?"

"Yeah." Sora nodded at her. "So, what happened to this city? Was this because of the Holy Grail War?"

"A lot more than that." Cú said. He gave Sora a brief summary on what happened here in this city with the Keyblade's chosen wielder paying close attention. Of course he also had to explain to Sora about the seven classes Heroic Spirits are classified in which consists of Saber, Lancer, Berserker, Caster, Archer, Assassin and Rider.

Once Caster was done, the members explained what happened before their arrival.

"Okay, I think I got everything that's happened. So all gotta do is beat King Arthur, grab the Holy Grail and we'll fix the Singularity." Sora said. "But where is King Arthur?"

"Over there in the mountains." Caster said, pointing to the mountainside that was close to them. "The King of Knights is inside a cave, guarding the Holy Grail as we speak. We were just on our way there before you showed up."

"Right! Then let's get going!" Sora exclaimed as he ran towards the railings, surprising everyone by the bold action.

"Wait a sec- Sora!" Ritsuka cries out seeing him jump off the building. They ran to the edge, expecting to see him flat and dead only to see him run down the building, surrounded by a blue aura. He jumped off it and landed safely. "Whoa."

"What was that?" Mash asked, eyes widened after seeing such a thing.

"Fou…" Fou chirped, just as stunned as Mash.

"How did-?! What did he just-!?" Olga couldn't even ask as she was too stunned to see Sora wasn't dead after jumping off of a school building.

Cú laughed in amusement. "Not even here for that long and I'm already starting to like this kid." He watched as Sora kept waving his hands up at them, as if he was telling them to hurry up. "Welp, best to not keep 'Her Majesty' and her bodyguard waiting."

"So because Heroic Spirits have to keep their identities hidden, the only way to find out who they are is by their Noble…Phantasy thing?"

"Phantasm, kid. Phan-tasm. And yes. Noble Phantasms are weapons or skills that every Heroic Spirit is bound to have. It's a symbol of the legends or deeds that make them Heroic Spirits in the first place."

"And that's how you figured out Saber's identity?"

"That's right. See, King Arthur is most famous and recognizable because he wields the legendary sword Excalibur."

"Wow! Sounds powerful! Are all Noble Phantasms like that?"

"It depends on who's the Heroic Spirit in question. Some are attacks that can wipe out a whole city, others can be used as defense and the rest are support types, like increasing your strength and such. Believe it or not, it's possible for Servants to possess more than one Noble Phantasm."

"More than one!? That's crazy!"

"Real crazy, right?"

The group were almost at the mountain cave entrance as it was just up the flight of stairs they were walking on. While they were walking, Sora wanted to learn more about Servants and Caster was more than happy to explain, seeing how he was the only expert. The young Keyblade wielder was soaking all the information in like a sponge and he was quite amazed to hear about these Heroic Spirits. He didn't really like calling them Servants because it just felt wrong to him and because it's a misconception when thinking about regular servants.

While the two were talking, Ritsuka, Mash and Olga were still trying to figure out what it was that Sora did and what that blue aura that was around him meant. Olga began to wonder if Sora was a mage and what he did was some sort of magecraft movement. But something told her that that wasn't the case. Somehow, the boy feels completely different from them for some reason and she wanted to know what it was.

They finally arrived at their destination as they made it to the top of the stairs. Not that far away from them was the mountain with an entrance that leads inside it.

"Sorry, looks like Servant Class is over for now." Caster said. "This is it. This is where the Greater Grail and Saber is."

"You don't need to tell us that." Olga said, used the back of her hand to cover her mouth as she felt the intense magical energy inside the cave. "The density of the magical energy leaking out here isn't normal…"

Sora wore a serious expression on his face. He could feel it. There's a powerful darkness inside that cave and it was almost close to Xehanort's. It looked like this was going to be a crazy battle especially since this is a king they're fighting. He gotta remember what Zelretch told him about Heroic Spirits. They're much stronger like this than when they were alive. The Shadow Servant he fought earlier was half as strong as a real Servant and he took it down no problem but now he's going to face a real Servant.

"Wait a minute, didn't Caster say that Saber had a bodyguard?" Sora asked himself. "Where is…" His eyes widened as he felt a dark presence appear right behind them. He and Caster looked back and saw a multitude of different weapons, all aimed at them.

"LOOK OUT!"

In a flash of light, Sora summons his Keyblade and creates a barrier of light around them as the weapons charge at them. Once all of the weapons touched the barrier, mini explosions erupted from it, knocking the weapons into the air as they vanished into golden sparkles while the barrier itself disappeared. The others meanwhile were left stunned by what just happened, none more so than Caster as he himself was already prepared to use a defensive rune. In fact, they turned their attention to Sora and the weapon he had in his hand only for them to do a double take as they saw it.

In his hand, he had what looked like a giant key. The blade and teeth of the key are silver, the rain-guard is blue, and the guard is bright gold. The teeth of the key form the outline of a crown which matches the crown charm Sora wears. The keychain is unique as it's formed from three spheres making it look like some sort of head with big ears.

"Fou…" Fou said, looking at the weapon with a tilted head and somewhat awestruck expression.

"What in the world?" Olga asked, stunned to see the odd giant key.

"S-Sora…" Ritsuka said as he stared at the…weapon (?) in Sora's hand. "Is that…"

"A key…?" Mash asked.

Cú examined the weapon in Sora's hand with amazement. He could feel an incredible radiant magic coming from it and it was powerful. He's seen a lot of weapons in his life as a human, both ordinary and magical, but he never felt nor seen such a weapon that has been surrounded with so much light.

Sora didn't pay much attention to the looks he was receiving from everyone as he was more focused on the man who fired all those weapons at them. The man has short white hair, darkened yellow eyes and tanned skin color with red cracks on his cheek and left arm. He wore black body armor which consisted of a black tight and sleeveless shirt with silver accents which outlined his muscles and a metal plate on his collar, and black pants that had two black straps on his thighs, and another two strapped around his shins separate from each other. He wears black metal plated shoes, which appear to be attached to his trousers. He also wore a red open skirt which ended above his shins with the top fashioned and tied with an agemaki knot, covered by a silver metal plate.

The man looked stunned by the boy's action and by the mysterious key he had in his hand. He wasn't expecting the boy to just up and summon that weapon and use magecraft to block all his swords. No, that wasn't magecraft. Call him crazy, but it just didn't feel like no ordinary magecraft. Still, that boy and his key.

The man narrowed his eyes on him. He could tell that unlike that girl with the giant shield, the boy was an ordinary human. No, there was something different about him. Something that was out of this world.

Looking at the key for a moment, he started to put the pieces together. Before when he was in the city earlier, it was just those two humans along with that Servant with the shield. But then that mysterious keyhole appeared in the sky as it shot a blue comet in the city just as the keyhole disappeared.

He looked back at Sora. "I see. So it was you who came out of that keyhole in the sky. I'll admit, this is the first time I've seen a human be able to block my weapons."

"Your weapons? Who are you!?" Sora asked, though he had to admit, he thought it was cool he was able to control those weapons.

"Well, look who it is. The number one disciple." Caster said, smirking mockingly at the man.

"The Archer Servant?" Olga questioned.

"I have no memory of being a disciple. I'm just here doing my job of keeping guests out." Archer said, even with the emptiness of his voice, you can hear the annoyance for the Caster.

"Keeping guests out? What kind of bodyguard uses a dirty trick like that to keep guests out!?" Sora asked him.

"The kind that don't like wasting time." Archer said. He summoned a black bow into his left hand and then, oddly, a sword in his right out of thin air. Then he took the sword and when he placed it to fire and pulled it back, it suddenly changed into a drill-shaped weapon.

"Good! Then that makes both of us!" Sora exclaimed as he raised his Keyblade in the air. "Thunder!"

Lightning suddenly struck the Archer Servant, stopping him from what he was doing as the electricity danced off his body. He grit his teeth. "What the hell!?"

Everyone was left surprised to see a bolt of lightning come down and strike the Archer. Before they could question him, Sora immediately charged at Archer with a blue aura surrounding him, not hearing Ritsuka and Mash call out to him. The darkened Servant looked up in time to see Sora get ready to attack him. His bow transformed into twin black and white daggers which he used to block the Keyblade, making sparks fly from the weapons as they tried to get the upper hand on each other.

Once the effects of the lightning wore off, Archer knocked Sora away into the air, he dashed at him swords ready to strike him. Sora reacted in time as he blocked the strikes though Archer kicked him in his mid-section, sending him crashing into the ground though he recovered in mid air and landed on his feet. The Keyblade wielder looked back at the entrance, only to see nobody there, which meant the others ran on ahead. He looked back at Archer and saw him running at him. He got ready to charge but then stopped when he saw what looked like Fire magic come out from behind him and was charging at Archer, resulting in an explosion.

"Whoa!"

"Kid, you are seriously something else." Caster commented, appearing beside Sora making him jump in surprise as he turned to him. "Charging headfirst into a Servant like that. You're either very brave or a fool asking for a death wish."

"Hey! I'll have you know I can hold my own in a fight!" Sora argued.

"Yes, yes, I can tell." Cú said, pointing at the Keyblade, his curiosity rising the more he looked at it. "What even is that?"

"This is called a Keyblade." Sora answered as he showed the key to the Caster Servant with him leaning in to examine it more closely with a look of interest. "Long story short, It's been with me for a while. Ever since I had it, I've traveled to many places, fought against so many monsters, villains and strong people that I lost count and believe me when I say that those guys were way stronger than a Servant! Well, probably? I mean, this is the first time I've ever fought a Servant but…oh you know what I mean!" He said this because he saw the pointed look Cú was giving him.

"A Keyblade, huh?"

Feeling their instincts screaming at them, the two quickly jumped out of the way as a glowing sword shot past them. They looked back into the cloud to see Archer, his bow aimed at them.

"A fitting name for such an odd weapon." Sora immediately took his stance with Cú doing the same thing. "You say you fought beings even stronger than a Servant despite it's your first time fighting one? Well then, let's just see how skillful you and that key of yours are to back up that claim."

"Gladly!" Sora was more than happy to accept the challenge and show this Servant how good he is. However, Caster had his staff in front of Sora, stopping him. "Cú?"

"As much as I want to see your skills as well, you're needed elsewhere." Cú said, nudging his head towards the cave. "I sent the others to Saber while you were busy distracting our resident Archer. I'm afraid Shield girl might need some help as it might be a bit tough for her."

Sora looked at Cú with his brows raised. He turned to Archer and looked back at him. "You sure Cú?"

"Hey, no worries kid." Cú said, winking at him. "I can handle him just fine. After all, Servants are meant to fight each other, plus I really don't like that guy. I'll catch up with you once I'm done with him."

Sora smiled at him and nodded his head as he turned and ran inside the cave. "Alright! Good luck, Cú!"

"As if I'll let you!" Archer exclaimed as he fired an arrow at Sora, only for a defensive rune to appear and block the arrow, causing the young wielder to look back in surprise but kept going. "Tsk!" He glared at Caster and saw that stupid grin he had on his face.

"Now then, you bow-wielding bastard, let's dance!"

Sora could feel the cave shake and heard the sound of an explosion coming from outside, no doubt because of Cú and Archer's fighting. As much as he wanted to stay and help Cú out with Archer, he knew he was right about Mash needing help with Saber.

From what he learned during their earlier time when they were at the school building, Mash was something called a Demi-Servant. She somehow fused with a Heroic Spirit and gained their abilities. But nobody, not even Mash, knows who the Heroic Spirit it was she fused with but according to them, this is the first time such a thing has ever happened.

Which means that this will be Mash's first time battling a Servant as a Servant. He didn't know how powerful King Arthur is, but from what Olga was saying earlier, he is someone incredibly powerful but it only worsened as he was corrupted by this Greater Grail, which explained the powerful darkness he was feeling.

In fact, he could see a glowing light and hear the sound of metal clashing against each other and Ritsuka calling out Mash's name. With every step he took, he was getting closer and closer to the light.

"I gotta hurry!"

Sora entered a massive clearing within a cave, and he could feel the same darkness only now it was much stronger. He saw Ritsuka, Olga and Fou on the side watching the battle between Mash and…a girl in black armor with darkness surrounding her. Mash was on the ground with her shield knocked away from and it looked like the girl in black armor was about ready to cut her down.

"This is the end."

"I don't think so!" Sora called as he used Flowmotion to charge at the girl in black armor, who stopped and turned her golden eyes towards him. He then struck her with a powerful strike though she used her sword to block it in time and she was sent sliding back.

"Sora!" Ritsuka called out, relieved to see that he was okay and that he was able to save Mash.

"Fou!" Fou chirped happily.

"Mash, are you okay?" Sora asked, running up to her and saw she was injured slightly. He pointed his Keyblade at her. "Hold on."

"S-Sora?" Mash asked, stunned to see him point his weapon at her.

"Heal!"

The Demi-Servant felt the injuries she gained from Saber was healed in an instant as she saw green leaves appear around her. She got up and looked over her body, seeing the injuries were in fact gone. She looked to Sora and smiled at him gratefully.

"Thank you, Sora."

"No problem." Sora smiled back. "Go to Ritsuka and get some rest. I'll handle this." Mash nodded, though she did look worried for him, as she picked up her shield and ran to the others. The smile left his face as he turned towards the girl in black armor, her golden eyes, which eerily reminded him of Xehanort, observing him like a dragon watching its prey.

"Oh…?" The girl in black armor looked down at the Keyblade in his hand. The presence this boy was giving off is the same as the one she felt from earlier. "That's an interesting looking weapon you have there."

"It's called a Keyblade." Sora repeated what he told Cú.

"A Key…blade?" Olga asked.

"A fitting name indeed." The girl in black armor. "Who are you? You're a human but this presence I feel from you is different from the other two over there."

"My name is Sora and let's just say I'm from somewhere far away." Sora introduced himself.

"I see. That look in your eyes. Unlike the others, you look like you could put up a fight." The girl in black armor readied her sword and took a stance. "I'm curious to see the power of this Keyblade."

Sora smirked at her as he too took his stance. "Alright! If I beat you then maybe your boss will come out."

"My what?" The girl in black armor frowned in confusion.

"Your boss. You know, Saber."

"...You are looking at the one who holds that title."

Sora frowned in confusion. "Huh? You're Saber? But Saber is supposed to be King Arthur. Where is he?"

The tense atmosphere immediately vanished the moment the question was asked.

Everything was quiet as everyone stared at the confused Sora with varying looks. Olga smacked her hand on her forehead in annoyance, Ritsuka let out a sheepish chuckle, Mash let out a cough, Fou tilted his head, and Saber merely stared at Sora with a blank gaze. Sora meanwhile blinked at the looks he was getting from everyone.

"What? What did I say?"

"Um, Sora." Ritsuka called out, getting his attention. He pointed at Saber, who still stared at Sora. "That is King Arthur."

Sora looked at Ritsuka then back to Saber. He looked back at the others to see Olga, Mash and even Fou nod their heads. His eyes widened in comical shock as he turned back Saber.

"WHAAAAAAAT!?"

Everyone, except for Saber, jumped in surprise by Sora's yell as he pointed at the Servant.

"You're King Arthur!? But you're a girl!" His surprise was understandable. He journeyed across various worlds and met many Kings, all of them males, so this is the first time he's met a female King. "Shouldn't you be called Queen Arthur instead?"

Sighing to herself as she brought her hand to her temple to get rid of the growing headache this boy was giving her, Saber replied. "Do you think that anyone would accept a female to be their ruler during those times?"

"What do you mean? Of course, they..."

That's right. He doesn't know anything at all about this world or its past since he literally just dropped in unannounced and got thrown into battle. But hearing that question reminded him about Mulan being dressed as a boy to join the army since women weren't allowed to in her world. So Saber's situation sounds similar to Mulan's, the only difference is that she's a 'king'.

"Um…probably?" Sora asked with a confused smile, shrugging his shoulders at her.

"Hmph."

Saber put her hand back on the hilt of the sword before she shot at him at a fast pace, despite the heavy armor she wore. Surprised by this, Sora dodged rolls out of the way before her blade suddenly found itself embedded in the ground. Taking this chance, Sora charged at her to slash her with his Keyblade only to do the same as the weapons clashed.

"First Archer, now you? Do all Servants pull out dirty moves or is it just you two!" Sora exclaimed, pushing her back as he fired a Fire spell at her, causing her to swipe her sword at it.

"If you're a warrior, then you should've already been prepared instead of acting like a confused fool, so you can only blame yourself." Saber said, pointing her sword at him before charging again.

Sora growled and did the same. His key of light once again clashed against the sword of darkness, which made various effects of light and darkness appear everytime the blades clashed against one another.

Nearby, everyone watched the battle unfold and none of them couldn't believe what they were seeing. Sora, an ordinary human, was actually holding his own against the legendary King of Knights herself. Granted, she did land a few close calls to him, but Sora managed to avoid them and even counterattack her, which send her flying in the air and he charged at her with air combos.

"I can't believe what I'm seeing." Mash said, awestruck at Sora's fighting as he kept up with Saber.

"I know. Sora is actually fighting against King Arthur." Ritsuka said.

"And those spells he's casting…" Olga said, watching as Sora fired off a Blizzard which didn't do much because of Saber's resistance to magic. Her eyes slowly widened in stunned realization. "Those are not magecraft arts he's using. I…I think he's doing magic. True magic."

"True magic?" Ritsuka asked, but Olga didn't reply as she continued to observe the fight.

Sora kept blocking Saber's strikes but she managed to break it. She swiped at Sora, only for him to somersault over her head and strike back using Strike Raid, knocking her forward. She turned to glare at Sora.

"I don't understand!" Sora said. "Why did you pick darkness?"

Saber frowned at the question. "What?"

"I met many kings before, but none of them have the same kind of darkness like you do." Sora said, surprising everyone by what he said. Scar doesn't count since he wasn't a true king. "So why? Why choose darkness? Aren't you supposed to be a hero to your people? Someone they're supposed to look up to?"

"Those things are unnecessary." Saber replied, closing her eyes. "My people don't need to understand me, just do as they're told. If I'm hated by my subjects, so be it. As long as my kingdom reigns on, then I'll be a hero who's hated. That's all I need to be."

"But that's wrong Arthur!" Sora argued strongly, feeling angry that she chose such a path for herself. She opened her eyes to stare at him. "A king isn't supposed to be hated by their own people! A true king is kind, stern, courageous, friendly and cares for their people and loved ones more than anything." He thought about Simba, King Triton, the Emperor of China, King Mickey, and Beast. "What you're saying is more of a tyrant! Why would you choose that?"

"...It doesn't matter." Saber said coldly, which sent a chill down the others spines except for Sora. "This is the path I have chosen for myself."

The two stared at each other, emotionless gold eyes staring into stern sky blue eyes.

"I see. In that case…I'm going to save you." Sora's sudden response caught everyone off guard, including Saber.

"What?"

"There's a lot of things I don't know about this Holy Grail, but from what Cú said, it's because of this thing that you and the others became this way." Sora said, showing his Keyblade to Saber. "I'm going to destroy this darkness that invaded you and bring you back to the light!"

Saber's eyes widened in surprise, stunned by what he said. Her hand which didn't hold her corrupted sword, unconsciously reached itself into her heart. She couldn't explain it but she felt…something touch her from within. Looking down at Excalibur, she was stunned to see that the edge of it was glowing a faint golden light before it disappeared. She turns to glare at Sora who now looked more determined to save her.

"You…what are you?"

"A Guardian of Light." Sora said, taking his stance.

Saber scoffed at the title. "Very well then, Guardian of Light, let's see if that Keyblade can save you from this!"

A massive burst of magical energy erupted Saber forcing Sora to use his Keyblade to block the powerful wind that came from it. Nearby the Chaldean group had had to shield their faces from magical energy Saber was unleashing.

"Oh no! This is bad!" Olga exclaimed. "She's about to unleash her Noble Phantasm!"

"What!?" Ritsuka asked, feeling scared for his new friend. "He won't be able to survive that!" He ran a few meters ahead to call out Sora. "Sora! Get out of there! She's about to use her Noble Phantasm!"

Sora's eyes widened in shock as he looked at Ritsuka with disbelief. He looked at Saber and saw her sword was covered in black light.

"Cry. It's time you come crashing down."

Sora grit his teeth and gets ready to defend himself from the attack. Remembering what Cú said, these Noble Phantasm things were very powerful enough to destroy a whole city. He didn't know how powerful Arthur's Noble Phantasm is, but from what he's sensing from her, it's incredibly so. He wasn't even sure if he could block it but he's definitely not gonna move from that spot, less that attack hits Ritsuka and the others.

"Vortigern, Hammer of the Vile King, reversed the rising sun. Swallow the light."

"Sora!" Mash quickly dash to Sora, her shield ready and ignoring Ritsuka cries for her.

"Mash! Wait!"

"Excalibur Morgan!"

Saber unleashed a powerful blazing black flame towards Sora, who closed his eyes and braced himself. However, he didn't feel any kind of pain. Opening his eyes, they widened as he saw Mash standing in front of him using her shield to block the black flames.

"Mash?" Sora asked, his voice stunned at how she was blocking one of the most (from what he heard) powerful Noble Phantasm. She must have a really strong shield for it to hold its own like that and not break. He even started to wonder if Goofy would be able to block something like that with his shield. But then again, Mash does have a bigger shield.

Taking a closer look, Sora saw she was having some trouble with it as she looked ready to faint. He was about to go help her but stopped when he saw someone running past him.

"R-Rituska!?"

The lone master didn't say anything to reply to him as he was more focused on helping Mash by placing his hand with the red tattoo on top of hers. Sora got curious when he saw the tattoo start glowing but then his jaw dropped in amazement when a large blue holographic like wall appeared in front of them.

"Is that…her Noble Phantasm?" Sora asked, looking awestruck. He knew Caster wasn't kidding when he said there were many types of Noble Phantasms. But to actually see not one but two of them, an attack and defensive one, is pretty cool.

The defensive Noble Phantasm actually shot Saber's Noble Phantasms back at her, bringing about a huge cloud of dirt. A second later, the wall disappeared and Mash became tired just as Ritsuka grabbed her before she fell.

"Sora! Now!" Ritsuka said, snapping Sora out of it and nodded his head at him.

"Right! Thanks guys!" Sora hops on top of Mash's shield before leaping off of it, charging at the corrupted Servant, who glared angrily at him. "SABER!

"Tch!" The dark Servant grit her teeth and swiped her sword at Sora, only for him to knock it out of her hand and into the air, shocking her and the others greatly. Using this moment, Sora jumped into the air and grabbed the sword.

Once his hand touched the handle and grip it tightly, a bright shining light erupted from the sword, temporarily making everyone cover their eyes. Looking back up at Sora as the light died down, everyone was shocked by what they saw, especially Saber.

"What?!" The Dark Servant yelled in disbelief. Somehow, that boy has transformed her Excalibur, whereas instead of being pitch black like darkness, the sword was now a bright golden light.

"He's…holding Excalibur!?" Olga asked, her mind going a million miles by the bizarre phenomenon she was looking at. "But that's impossible! Excalibur can only be held by King Arthur herself! How is it possible for Sora to actually hold it and change it like that?!"

"Fou…!" Fou chirped, his gaze wonderfully staring at Sora.

"You…!" Saber said, her eyes completely glued to Sora who already landed on the ground as he held both his Keyblade and her Excalibur in his hands, eyes staring back at her. Her tone was of anger and confusion. "What have you done to Excalibur?"

"Honestly, I don't know." Sora said, looking at the sword in his hand. "It was faint earlier, but I felt the light in this sword call out to me."

Saber's eyes widened by what he said, once again feeling something within her heart that she couldn't explain. "The light…within Excalibur called out to you?"

She couldn't believe it. No, she refused to believe it. She allowed herself to fall into darkness, to let her be corrupted in order to be the perfect King. When she fell, her sword also fell with her! There should be no such light in Excalibur.

"Yeah!" Sora said. "No matter how deep in the darkness you're in, a light will always shine!" He took a stance. "I told you that I was going to save you from this blackened thing and that's what I'm going to do!"

The Keyblade wielder charges at Saber, who remains frozen with a stunned look on her face. She paid no mind to the fact that she was being attacked right now from her own blade and a key shaped one. Yet, she felt no pain from them. She felt something else. The darkness that corrupted her thanks to the Holy Grail was disappearing with every strike that hit her.

After the last strike from both blades, Saber fell on her back. Her armor was cracked and she had red lightning dancing off of her body. The hand that was holding Excalibur was raised before it vanished and returned to Arthur's side in its darkened state. Sora walked up to Arthur and aimed his Keyblade at her, the tip beaming with energy before shooting out at Arthur.

As it did, the brightest light that was ever seen began to surround the cave, blinding everyone in a white light.

It was dark.

It was so terribly dark and lonesome here.

She was diving deeper and deeper into the darkness. No matter how much she tried to fight it or how close she was to being free, the darkness she kept holding back inside her would always drag her back down further. As the Grail corrupted her, she met her other self, who revealed herself to be her shadow.

Next thing she knew, she was dragged into this darkness, her shadow overcoming her and leaving her here alone. She fought to get out of this darkness but the corrupted Grail that she received from that old man was so strong that ended up losing herself to it.

Now, here she is. Forever trapped inside this darkness created by the Grail until someone was able to defeat her.

"...thur…!"

Huh? Was that…a voice? Where did it come from?

"Arthur!"

The voice was now clearer. Someone was calling out to her. But who was it?

Suddenly, she felt something. It was a strong powerful magic that felt nice and warm unlike the cold darkness that she was in. It was so powerful that it made her open her eyes. She blinked as she saw something in the distance.

It was…a white light.

"Arthur!"

The light was so bright and powerful that it blew away the darkness that held her. Once she was free, she reached her hand out to the light, only for another hand to grab hers. She gasped as she saw a pair of beautiful eyes that reminded of the sky she loved looking at when she was but a simple girl living in the countryside before she pulled the sacred sword out.

Taking a moment to readjust her eyes, she saw it was the boy whom she was fighting earlier. What was his name again? She believed she said his name was…

"...Sora?"

Sora happily smiled at her and helped pull her out of the darkness, both of them leaving this place as the darkness around them got destroyed due to the light. Due to Sora's light. Feeling something glowing right behind her made Artoria look back and she gasped in amazement at what she saw.

It was a beautiful, enormous, illuminated stained-glass image of herself. The glass, which depicted herself in her Royal outfit while holding Excalibur in her hand, was a royal blue and white. The inner circle of emblems behind her contained the symbols that she wears on her armor while the edges had the images of her Knights of the Round Table and Merlin. The background image behind her depicts her castle of Camelot.

Before she could even ask Sora what that stained glass was supposed to be, a bright light engulfed them.

The light started to fade away and everyone opened their eyes to see someone bathed in light standing right in front of Sora. The light soon dispersed revealing themselves to be King Arthur herself, only this time she looked different.

She now had a blue dress along with less armor than before that was now silver. Her skin was also different as it changed back to a more vibrant form and her eyes were now emerald-green that held the gaze of a king instead of a dragon. Her sword was no longer the darkened, tainted, horrible thing it was before. It was now the one thing that it was: Sacred. A gold and blue hilt and cross guard with a long blade with ancient writing on it. It truly was the sacred sword of legends, Excalibur.

Sora and 'Arthur' stared at each other with warm and friendly gazes as Sora gave her his usual happy smile while 'Arthur' did the same thing.

"Hey! Sora!" The two looked and saw the others were racing towards them. Ritsuka came up to him first, looking quite happy and relieved that he was okay. "Sora! That was amazing!"

"Yes! You turned Saber back to normal!" Mash exclaimed.

"Fou! Fou Fou!" Fou happily hopped on Sora's shoulder and licked his cheek.

"How did you do all that!? Was all that true magic?" Olga asked.

"Well I'll be damned!" Everyone jumped in surprise by the unexpected friendly yet familiar voice. They looked and saw Caster was amongst them, only he was shirtless. "Those were some pretty impressive skills you got there kid."

"Caster!" Sora, Ritsuka and Mash said happily.

"You're all right!" Sora exclaimed.

"Of course I am. I did say I was gonna join you guys after I was done with Mr. Bodyguard." Caster said, in a matter of fact tone.

"And how long ago was that?" Olga asked, crossing her arms and giving Caster a hard glare, who looked thoughtful.

"Well, I came here as soon as I saw Shield-Girl here deploy her Noble Phantasm." Cú said, much to the Director's anger and annoyance.

"If you were here the whole time then why didn't you step in!?"

"I was gonna help out until I saw Keyboy here step in and do all those amazing tricks with the King of Knight's sacred sword and his Keyblade." Cú explained, smirking at the boy in question. "Not bad by the way kid."

"Heh! Thanks!" Sora said, rubbing his fist across his nose. He turned to Saber. "So Saber-I mean Your Majesty, what happens now?"

'Arthur' shook her head. "There's no need to call me that. I may be a king but I am now a Servant. As for what happens next…the fight is now over so there's no need for me to be here."

Sora looked confused before he gasped in alarm as he saw 'Arthur' was disappearing in a golden light. "Arthur!?"

"It's okay." Arthur smiled. "Victory to the power that protects, I see it now. Ultimately, no matter how my fate changes, I will always meet the same end if I'm alone."

"And what do ya mean by that?" Caster asked with a frown. "Are you trying to tell us something?"

Saber turned serious for this one "Eventually, you too will realize it, Ireland's Child of Light. Grand Order - the battle to obtain the Holy Grail has only just begun." She then turned to look at Sora before speaking with a smile. "Sora, thank you again for saving me. I hope the next time we fight, we fight as allies." She disappeared with Sora reaching out to her.

"Hey wait! What do you mean by-..." Caster stopped when he saw he was disappearing too. He clicked his teeth in annoyance, before turning to look at Ritsuka, Mash and Sora. "Hey, I'm leaving the rest to you three!"

"Caster/Cú!" Ritsuka and Sora called out.

"If there's a next time, try to summon me as a Lancer over there! I wanna take a shot at fighting against that Keyblade." Caster closed his eyes and disappeared.

"Wait!" Sora ran to try and grab him but it was too late. He looked down at the spots where he and Arthur vanished. "Cú. Arthur." He blinked as he saw something glowing on the spot where Arthur once stood. "Huh?"

While the others were busy talking to Romani on the communicator thing, Sora walked over to the spot and blinked. He reached down and picked up the glowing object. It was diamond-shaped and it glowed golden-red with an immense energy surrounding it.

"What's this thing? Maybe the others might know."

The Keyblade wielder stood up and walked back to join the others to show them what he found with him hearing Olga naming Mash's new Noble Phantasm [Lord Chaldeas]. As he opened his mouth to tell them what he found, they all heard the sound of someone clapping their hands. It was obviously slow, but the way it suddenly echoed out in the cave made it more ominous.

"My, I never thought you all would make it this far." They all looked up to where the Greater Grail is located. "This is an unforeseen element that goes well beyond what I'm able to tolerate."

A man with a green suit and a top hat walked out of the shadows and stood in front of that disgusting pillar of a monstrosity with his eyes closed and a smile on his face.

Sora felt his instincts flare the second the man made himself known. He could clearly see the darkness that covered him and instinctively prepared himself for a fight

"Hey, isn't that…?" Ritsuka was quite surprised to see the man.

"Professor Leff!" Mash sounded happy to see him.

"Leff! Leff!" Olga said, happy and relieved to see him alive. "Thank goodness, you survived that explosion!"

"Olga, no!" Sora immediately got in front of her to stop her from running towards that man, his arms held out. "Don't go near him!"

"What? What are you doing Sora? It's Leff! He's a friend!" Olga told him.

"No, he's right!" Mash agreed with what Sora said and got in front of Ritsuka. "There is something different about him! He's not the Professor we know"

"W…What are you saying Mash?" Olga asked, now feeling more confused and a little frightened by what they were saying.

["Wait, did you just say Professor Leff?"] Romani asked.

"Ah, a transmission from Romani." Leff said, his voice pleasant and calm. "Romani. Did I or did I not tell you to come to the Control Room right away?"

["Leff?"]

"Really now…you don't follow your orders. Every last one of you is nothing but scum!" Leff opened his eyes, which looked like something only a devil in disguise would have, and glared angrily at them,

Those who knew him were shocked by what he said while Sora only glared at the man for what he said about his friends.

"The 48th Candidate whom I looked over because he didn't know anything! You became a Demi-Servant Mash Kyrielight! You didn't listen to what I said and ended up surviving Romani Archaman!" Leff continued on, not paying mind to the fact that Ritsuka, Mash and even Romani himself flinched from what he said. "All these unexpected events are really starting to piss me off! And the most unexpected things of all!" He glared at Sora, who still held his glare aimed at him.

"The unknown boy with a mysterious key that purified Saber! And the girl who hasn't even realized that she's already dead! The miserable, pathetic, Olga Marie!"

Sora and the others went cold the moment he said that revelation. But Olga? Her eyes were completely widened in horror by the man, whom she admired for so long, just said to her.

"...huh?"

"What? Has your brain stopped working since you've died?" Leff asked, before showing a pleasing smile as if he was enjoying the despair on Olga's face. "Whatever. I'll tell you anyway. The explosion started beneath your feet. Why? Because I put it there. Your body is long gone. There's not even a trace of it left. The you that's here with us now is just a residue of your consciousness."

"Liar…" Olga whispered in horror and disbelief.

"Did you forget how Rayshifting works? It converts a person's soul into data, extracts it from their body and projects it to a different time and space. In other words, to Rayshift, the only thing holding you back is your body." Leff explained.

Hearing this, Sora was quite stunned at how their time travel, or Rayshift as they call it, actually works. Unlike how he and Xehanort time traveled back in his world, this world's time travel works completely differently and it was done by technology.

"Do you get it now? For you without any aptitude, what would cause you to Rayshift? That would be because your body no longer exists. That alone should be obvious." Leff continued his explanation. "That's why you can't return to Chaldea. The moment you do, your consciousness will vanish."

"You're wrong…you're wrong! What do you mean? What are you saying!?" Olga was now getting scared and she could feel her heart rapidly beating in her chest.

"But! I care too much for you!" Leff spoke, clearly enjoying her despair before continuing. "One's own demise is too dismal to contemplate! Since you so selfishly dedicated your life to Chaldea, the least I can do to show my gratitude is give you a glimpse of what's going on."

He opened his left hand out towards Sora and suddenly, the keybearer felt the crystal in his left hand being pulled towards him. Gripping it hard, he threw his other hand on it to keep it from going towards him.

"Hmph. Pathetic." Leff addressed his efforts before an invisible force slammed into Sora and threw him to the ground, resulting in him letting go of the crystal and as it flew towards him before he absorbed it into his hand.

"Sora!" Ritsuka ran to him and helped him up. "You okay?

"Yeah. Thanks Ritsuka."

Snapping his fingers, the space behind Leff opened up to reveal something that shocked everyone: A room containing a burning globe surrounded by rings and mirror-like plates.

"What is that?" Sora asked.

"Chaldeas…has turned pure red." Olga said, her tone now filled with terror and dread. "No! It can't be real! It's just a virtual image!"

"No. It's the real thing. I've connected space-time for you to show you this." Leff told her. "So, take a good look, scion of the Animusphere family. What you are seeing is the legacy of your family's lunacy!" He raised his hand at her and Olga started floating in the air.

"Wha…?" Sora, Ritsuka and Mash were shocked and horrified to see she was floating towards the burning Chaldea.

"Olga!" Sora reached out and grabbed her hand to stop her from floating towards it with Ritsuka and Mash helping him. But sadly, once again, a strong force pushed them away from her. Having enough of this, Sora stood and turned to Leff, angrily yelling at him. "Stop! What are you doing!?"

Leff, however, ignored Sora. "I could kill you now, but there's no grace to that. I will grant you your final wish, instead. Go ahead and lay hands on your treasure."

"What are you talking about!? No! Please don't!" Olga pleaded, tears falling from her eyes. "Stop it! That's Chaldea!"

"Yes." Leff grinned maliciously. "With power not unlike a black hole or perhaps even the sun. Either way, if a human touches it, they will be split apart on a molecular level. You will experience living infinite death."

Ritsuka grit his teeth from hearing that and hurriedly rushed over to save her. "You can't!"

"No!" But Mash stopped him by grabbing his arm. "Stay back!"

Sora's eyes widened in disbelief and horror from what Leff said. In every journey he took, he's never met someone like this. Every bad guy he's ever fought in those journeys, he never met someone like this. Someone so cruel, so heartless, so evil! His hands trembled angrily as he heard Olga's cries for someone to save her. About how she has never once been acknowledged or praised for anything. Looking up at her, he saw tears falling from her eyes as she kept pleading for someone to save.

With that something in Sora snapped. With a roar of anger, he summoned his Keyblade and charged at Leff, ignoring Mash calling out to him. Leff meanwhile looked to Sora with disinterest before his eyes widened as he saw him vanish.

"What!?" Leff looked around for him but then felt a powerful blow struck him in his ribcage and he was thrown a few feet away from the pillar and into the cave's wall.

Sora immediately jumped up towards Olga as she was about to make contact, grabbing her hand and aimed his Keyblade at the space, shooting a beam of light at it as it pushed the two away from it while at the same time closing the connection between them. He landed on the ground back first while holding onto Olga. He let out a sigh of relief.

"That was close."

"Sora! Director!" Ritsuka called out to them as he, Mash and Fou ran to them.

"Guys." Sora sat up, not seeing that he was still holding onto Olga. He realized it a second later and let her go. "Oh! Sorry! Are you…"

Olga was in shock but she still had tears falling from her eyes. Her mind was still going over the horrific details Leff revealed to her. But there was one thing she knew for sure. She was not going to experience the infinite hell of forever dying inside Chaldea.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Olga held onto Sora and broke down, crying deeply into his chest.

Sora was surprised for a moment but then his face softened up a little as he hugged her back. He looked at the others and saw the others shared the sadness of the situation.

"You…!"

Everyone tensed at the sound of Leff's voice and turned around to see him walking up towards them. He held his ribcage as it seemed to be glowing slightly from the attack Sora landed on him and he had blood dripping down his mouth. He looked absolutely furious as he gave a hateful glare towards Sora.

"You would dare use that thing on me! You human trash!"

Sora returned the glare as he gently released Olga, standing up fully and summoned his Keyblade. "Yeah and I'm just getting started!" He charged at Leff intent on taking him down when suddenly the whole cavern started shaking for a moment, stopping him as he looked around. "Now what!?

"Tch!" Annoyed, Leff turned to glare at the group before speaking. "Romani, as a friend who studied alongside you, allow me to give you one last bit of information. Chaldea no longer has a purpose. You can't see the future anymore. You can't make contact with the outside world and the personnel you sent outside to check the situation haven't come back right?"

Back in Chaldea, nobody dared to say a word from the startling realization that Leff dropped on them. Romani clenched his fist in anger and grief. With a dark grin that showed his triangular teeth he answered for them.

"The conclusion has already been decided. You, humanity have, at this very moment, fallen into ruins!" Leff revealed, shocking everyone. "Chaldea has likely been protected by the magnetic field of Chaldeas. But I'm sure the outside is meeting its fate just like Fuyuki."

["That's why we haven't been able to contact anyone from the outside. It wasn't because of any technical issues. It's because there isn't anyone to communicate with!"]

Ritsuka, Mash and Olga all gasped in horror while Sora narrowed his eyes at Leff while gripping his Keyblade tightly.

"You didn't perish because of your inability to evolve, nor due to a war with a foreign species. No, it's because of your incompetence! Because of your meaningless existence! And because you lost the glorious favor of our King! You will burn away like the useless wastes that you-"

"Are you done rambling?"

Leff and everyone else turned to Sora who was glaring at him.

"What?"

"I said, are you done rambling?" Sora asked again. "Because right now, I can tell you that you're wrong."

"Wrong?" Leff asked, a mocking confused look on his face. "About what?"

"About humanity perishing."

Leff stared at Sora for a moment before laughing like a maniac. "HAHAHAHA! Were you not listening!? I told you, humanities' future has been incinerated! All because of you all losing the favor of our King!"

"That's where you're wrong! Because Chaldea is still here!" Sora answered, stunning everyone by what he said. "Like I told Saber, no matter how deep the darkness is, there will always be a small glimmer of light. Well guess what? Chaldea is that light and it's thanks to Olga that it's here today to prevent the world from incinerating!"

Olga perked up at him, her eyes widening. "Thanks…to me?" Her question came out as a soft whisper.

"As long as Chaldea still stands…as long as we still stand, humanity and our future will not be incinerated." Sora continued as Leff was now glaring at him, only it kept getting deeper and deeper the more he talked. "So you can tell your so-called 'King' this. Whatever he throws at us, we'll defeat it. If there are others like you, we'll defeat every last one of you until he's the last one." Here he pointed his Keyblade at Leff. "We will keep fighting to the very end and make sure the people of this world have a future to look forward to!"

"Sora…"

Everyone was stunned in awe by what Sora said, including those at Chaldea who heard it. The way he spoke, the determination and confidence in his voice and his drive definitely spoke of someone who has saved the world more times than they could count. The dark despair that they all felt by Leff's revelation was transformed into the light of hope. Ritsuka and Mash looked at each other for a moment before they smiled and nodded at each other. They walked up to Sora and joined him as they too glared at Leff, their eyes exactly like his.

Olga meanwhile stared at the three but then her gaze became focused on Sora, mainly due to his earlier acknowledgement of her work on creating Chaldea and making it humanity's final stand. She placed her hands on her heart before she stood, her eyes no longer shedding any tears. She gave a confident nod to herself before she turned around to glare at Leff, her despair leaving her.

Leff glared at Sora, anger at his words before it turned into hatred as everyone, including the pitiful Director, now had the same strong gazes as he did. He clenched his fist tightly. This unknown anomaly that joined them was ruining everything! Not only did he ruin his chance to send Olga in Chaldeas to suffer a painful infinite hell, he even went and attacked him, hurting his ribcage which still hasn't fully healed up! Now the despair they all felt earlier was replaced by something he absolutely detested.

It was hope.

"You despicable little-!" Jeff was interrupted by the whole cavern now shaking.

"Hey! What's up with this earthquake!?" Sora asked.

"It's not an earthquake!" Olga said. "With Saber's defeat, the whole Singularity is going to collapse!"

"Hmph. You're quite lucky." Leff floated upwards and glared down at the group for a second before he smiled. "Before I leave, allow me to introduce myself once again. My name is Leff Lynor Flauros." He bowed at them. "I oversaw the year of 2015, to ensure the destruction of humanity." He looked up and showed his eyes were a lot more demonic now with cross pupils. "With that I bid you all farewell, Mash, Romani, 48th Master Candidate and last of all, the anomaly who holds the key."

A portal opened up behind him and he vanished within it. After he left, the shaking got worse as rocks started falling from the ceiling. Sora and Mash used their weapons to destroy the boulders that were falling on top of them.

"Doctor! We have to get out of here!" Mash told him.

["Hang on! I'm getting you all ready for departure!"] Romani said, his voice almost frantic.

"But what about the Director?" Ritsuka asked, looking at her to see her hair covering her eyes. "If we leave she'll…!"

"No she won't. There's still a way for her to come back with us!" Sora told them, making everyone look at him.

"What are you talking about!?" Olga asked, looking at Sora with tears in her eyes. "You heard what Leff said! My body is gone! If I leave here I'll just disappear!"

"...you're right." Sora said, looking at his Keyblade. "Your body is gone, but your consciousness…no, your heart is right here in front of us."

"My…heart?" The ground started to crumble and fall apart.

"There's no time to explain but I need you to trust me!" Sora said urgently, aiming his Keyblade at her with the tip glowing. He shot a beam of light at her, making her gasp in surprise.

As that happened, a blue glow came from below them. But they didn't pay no mind as they watched Sora do what he was doing to Olga, who's whole being was enveloped in light and before it shrunk and turned into a ball of light with a pink glow inside it. After that, the blue glow engulfed them and they vanished within a flash.

Chaldea: Year 2015

Sora groaned softly as he opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was a clean white ceiling. Sitting up from the bed, he saw he was in a room, complete with a bed, a plant over by the corner and a TV screen on the wall.

"Where am I now?"

"Fou!"

Sora turned his head and saw Fou sitting on the bed with him. "Fou! You're okay!"

"Fou!" Fou chirps.

"Do you know where Ritsuka and Mash are?" Sora asked.

"Fou!" Fou hops off the bed and went to the door as it opened by itself. He turned to Sora. "Fou!"

"Right. Coming!" Sora got off the bed and ran after him.

As Sora followed Fou through the clean and future-like hallway, he looked right outside and was immediately reminded of Arendelle. Wherever this place is, it was in a land filled with snow and mountains with a snow storm currently happening. But despite this, it was nice and warm inside this building or castle. He also saw a stylized C on most walls of the hallway.

"Where is everybody?" Sora asked, noticing there weren't any people walking around.

"Fou! Kyu! Fou!"

Sora looked down at Fou and saw him standing in front of a double door. "In here?" Fou chirped and hops on his shoulder. He walked up to the door as it opened itself and entered. He saw several people inside working but he saw the two he was more familiar with talking to Romani. Though he was surprised at the outfit change Mash went through and to find out she wears glasses.

"Ritsuka! Mash!"

Everyone turned to the happy voice and saw Sora rushing in towards the two he called. They too looked happy as well seeing him.

"Sora!" Mash greeted him.

"We're glad you're okay!" Ritsuka said.

"Yeah!" Sora said. "Same to you guys!" He turned to Romani. "You're Romani, right?"

"Yup. Pleasure to meet you face to face Sora." Romani said, holding his hand out to Sora who shook it. "Thanks a lot for helping these two in Singularity F."

"No problem." Sora said as the two let go. "So, is this place Chaldea?"

"Yes. We were quite surprised to find you passed out on the ground after we transported you back. We weren't even sure if you were going to come back here with them." Romani explained much to Sora's confusion. "Ah, nevermind I'll explain that later."

Sora shrugged his shoulders before his eyes widened. "Oh yeah! Olga! Where is she?"

Romani and the others looked uncertain by the question. "Actually, we were hoping you would tell us. When we found you on the ground, we saw this glowing ball of light floating next to you."

"Do you know what it is?" Ritsuka asked, seeing the happy look on his face.

"Yeah! Listen, that ball of light is Olga! It's her heart!" Sora said happily, surprising and confusing everyone who heard him, even Fou. "She made it with us after all!"

"Fou fou?"

"The Director's…heart?" Mash was bewildered by Sora's answer. She of course knew what the human heart is, an organ that's in the body. But that glowing pink ball of light? She had never seen something like that before.

"Yeah, where is she?" Sora asked.

"Not to worry. She's currently in a safe place until we figure out what to do with her." A beautiful woman with brown hair stepped up and answered. "Hello, Sora, my name is Leonardo Da Vinci, nice to meet you."

Sora nodded. "Nice to meet you too Leonardo."

"Oh? You're not surprised?" Leonardo was quite surprised by his reaction towards her name.

"About what?" Sora asked. He blinked when everyone stared at him with puzzlement.

"Sora, do you know who Leonardo Da Vinci is?" Romani asked slowly.

Sora was confused by the question and everyone's reaction to him. "Er, should I?"

Okay. Now everybody in Chaldea knew that Sora had to have been from somewhere far away to not even know who the famous Leonardo Da Vinci is.

"Um, I'll tell you later." Romani changed the subject. "Right now, I think it's about time we hear your story."

"Oi. Oi. No story time without us."

Everyone turned towards the voice as they entered the room through the door and Sora gasped happily with a big smile on his face. Three individuals whom Sora recognized and was more than happy.

"Cú! Arthur! And…is that you Archer?"

"Yo, kid. Good to see you finally woke up." Cú said.

Sora notes that Cú had on a new outfit. His new outfit is deep ultramarine full body tights covered in Runic protections, gray metallic pauldrons, and a metal plate over his lowest abdominal section. He wears his hair in a rattail that reaches his mid-back. He also wears a pair of silver earrings. His staff is replaced by a cool looking red spear.

"Is that really you Cú? You look different."

"Heh. That's because I'm a Lancer now." Cú said, showing off his spear. "While I am good with rune arts, I'm much better at wielding this baby."

"It'd be better if you stayed as a Caster." Archer commented, getting Sora to examine him.

Unlike the Blackened version he saw in Singularity F, Archer's complexion is now a regular tan and his eyes were gray. He wore the same black outfit only this time he also had a red coat, which were actually two separate sleeves connected by a metal plate at the back which covered his arms and was cut off showing his upper torso and midriff, and had a separate red open skirt which ended above his shins with the top fashioned and tied with an agemaki knot, covered by a silver metal plate.

Now that he got a closer look, Archer kinda looks like a young adult version of Xehanort yet for some reason he reminded him of Riku.

"What? You wanna get your ass kicked by me again, bastard?" Cú asked. "Caster or Lancer, I can still take you down."

"Don't forget that it's because I was corrupted by the Grail that you were able to win." Archer said. "So it wasn't 'me' you were actually fighting."

Cú scoffed. "Right. Keep telling yourself that."

Everybody sweat dropped as they could clearly see the sparks flying between them. Sora chuckled a little as this scene reminded him of the times he and Riku would fight like that.

Arthur sighed at the two of them. She smiled at the confused Sora. "Hello Sora, it's good to see you again. Please ignore these two as they've been like this since they were summoned. Also, my real name is Artoria."

"Right." Sora said, scratching the back of his head. "Well, you guys might want to take a seat for this. Because this is a very long story." He now had everyone's undivided attention once he said that. "I guess I should start from where it all began. It all started on the Destiny Islands, where my friends and I dreamed of wanting to see other worlds…"

As Sora began his tale, nobody didn't say anything as they all listened closely.

Author's Note: I gotta be honest, I wasn't expecting the chapter to be this long. But it's just the visions I keep seeing for the story, imagining all of Sora's interactions with the characters in the Fate franchise, especially with Hercules and Merlin. I still can't believe that nobody hasn't done something like this yet.

But whatever. I know some of you are going to ask me if Sora is going to be a Master, no. I don't have plans for Sora to be a Master because let's be honest, do you really see a kid like Sora commanding people? I sure don't. Plus, with Sora's presence in the Fate world, you can expect to see a lot of changes starting to occur because of it.

As for Zelretch's earlier comment about Kairi having competition…come on, this is the Fate franchise and we still have (possibly) two more years until Kingdom Hearts IV comes out with Missing Link coming out right around the corner and Dark Road finally over.

On a side note, how do you like the reference I made to Fate/Genesis written by Cybertoy00? I really loved that story and even though they said they were taking a break from writing, I hope they make a sequel to it.

Well, that's it. Let me know what you all think about this fic.
