Why did no-one notice?

Caroline's POV

Dear Whoever

I am sore as I sit at my desk today, no one notices as I wince when I sit down, Elena mouths "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, that time of the month" I mouth back. Elena gives me a look of pity. I know she knows what 'he' is doing to me. I want to scream at her. Why has she not noticed that I am crying out for someone to save me from being raped. Then being compelled, vampire roofied I have bruising, all over my body, bite marks on my thighs, back and neck. I want to cry out when Alaric starts droning on about the decades dance. I notice him looking at me as I take out my notebook. "Ms Forbes, can I see you after class please?"

"Um, ah, sure?" I mutter as I curl in on myself. The others give me pitying looks.

Klaric's POV

"Ms Forbes, would you like to tell me why you winced as you sat down?"

"It's that time of the month, sir, I mean 'Mr Saltzman' I just want to go home and put a hot water bottle on my stomach"

"I am only going to ask you this once, Ms Forbes, is someone hurting you?"

That was it. She was suddenly having a panic attack. Her eyesight went fuzzy, and she could not breathe, she couldn't fight 'his' compulsion. I was on the ropes with no clue how to help this girl as she staggered back from me as I jumped up in alarm. "Ms Forbes, breathe, look at me, deep breaths. Has a vampire compelled you?" Ms Forbes gave one nod of her head "Has he violated you?" Another nod "Does he bite you?" Another nod. This beautiful being, so full of light, was being raped, compelled, and bitten. "Who is the vampire that is doing this?" I asked in a calm, furious sort of way.

"Stefan Salvatore's older brother, Damon" she whispered in my ear "I can't escape him" she cried out "Yes you can" I whispered "I will help you" I said gently as I guided her to the nurse to examine her injuries.

Bonnie's POV

I was listening to Alaric and Caroline with tears in my eyes. I had cast an eavesdropping spell on the door of the classroom. I was so caught up with my 'grams' teaching me how to be a witch, I never noticed how Damon was treating Care-bear. I was so enraged, but what could I do? ~ You know what you should do, you are a Bennett witch, a servant of nature, help her, you foolish girl! -

Damon's POV

"So, what did the new teacher want with Caroline?" I asked Stefan "It's about the decades dance for the sixties. He wants her help, and with her super-organisational skills, he would be hard pressed to find a better person for the job"

"Yeah, right, more like he wants a nice piece of ass to plough, and he's noticed her ass, I mean, who wouldn't want a piece of that juicy peach" I laughed "Good on him" I chuckled as I left my little bro' to brood and comb his hero hair.

Liz Forbes POV

"Hello, is this the mother of Caroline Forbes?"

"Yes, that's me, what's happened now?"

"This is Doctor Fell, your daughter is at the Richmond ED. Ms Forbes has disclosed information pertinent to her welfare. She needs you here now, sheriff Forbes"

I was in my police car and on the way to the hospital, sirens on.

Bonnie's POV

"Grams!" I knocked on the door and she opened it.

"What's up, baby girl"

I wiped my eyes. "I made a terrible mistake and it cost big time, grams"

"What is it?" Grams took my hands

"Damon Salvatore has been raping, and compelling, and feeding on my friend, Caroline Forbes, I heard her crying!" Sheila Bennett was shocked "Baby girl, why would you think this is your fault?"

"Because I didn't notice" I sobbed in her arms "She's my best friend since kindergarten, and I didn't notice, I feel so guilty"

Liz Forbes POV

I ran into Richmond E.D and found the receptionist. I was directed to the sexual trauma unit, and I shook with horror at seeing my little girl. Doctor Fell grabbed me as I went to hug my daughter. "Liz, you need to sit down" she took me to the relative's room and got me a strong coffee. "What's going on?" I asked, shaking, almost not wanting to know why my daughter was here.

"Your daughter is a minor, correct?"

"Yes, she's sixteen years old, and she's been struggling with her father's and my divorce"

"Pffft, show me a couple of teenagers that haven't struggled with their parents divorcing or splitting up" she said chuckling "We've taken images of your daughter's injuries, and her internal injuries. Sheriff Forbes, your daughter was raped and bitten several times by a vampire. She confided in her new teacher that the 'vampire' has been compelling her to forget and yet, to still be afraid of the shadows. Do you want to see the photos?" Sheriff Forbes shook her head in tears

"My question is why didn't you give her vervain?"

"I didn't know!" Liz Forbes cried out "Will she be a vampire now?"

"No, the vampire would have had to feed her his blood and then if she had died with his blood in her system. She won't be a vampire anytime soon. This vampire has been more interested in using her as a walking blood bag"

"Has she named the vampire?"

"Yes, but she wants to tell you herself"

"I'll kill it, whoever the beast is, I'll shoot him full of wooden bullets in the heart!"

"Good, I'll help you" a voice came from the open door "Mr Saltzman"

"I'm not kidding, I came here to track down my wife's killer, and I hated hearing what this monster did to your daughter. I want to join the founder's council as a vampire hunter"

"Okay, you must drink vervain every day to prove you aren't one of them?"

"Done, what else?"

"Help me get the bastard who did this to my little girl?"

"You have my word"
