"So we're in Mantle while Team CFVY is investigating weird signals at Argus' military base, why are we here?" Yang asked
"Headmaster Branwen requested that teams RWBY and JNPR check things out in Solitas while Team CFVY head to Argus to investigate the weird signals" Pyrrha said
"Yeah" Yang said putting her arms behind her head before wincing and grasping her amputated arm
"You okay?" Ruby asked concerned
"Yeah, just aching from the cold I'm guessing" Yang said looking sadly as it shook
"Yang, it's going to take time, mum and dad have said that" Ruby said taking her sister's hand
"Yeah" Yang sighed
"Did you guys ever hear what happened to the Avengers?" Jaune asked
"I don't know" Blake said
"They just disappeared" Weiss said as she saw the Faunus being discriminated against, so she used a glyph to dump them in a nearby bin making Blake subtly smile. "what, he deserved it"
"Here for their protection, bullshit" a voice said
"I agree with you" a feminie voice said
"Easy guys they're just trying to reassure people" their leader said "Think they'll be happy to see us"
"the troops or the kids?" another voice asked as an alarm sounded
"Let's move team" the leader said.
"About time" the first voice said as the team moved out.
"This is going to be fun."
"What's going on?" Yang asked
"I don't know" Oscar shouted
"Form up" Ruby shouted as the group huddled up close with their backs against one another
"Okay this is not good" Yang said
"They're everywhere" Weiss said
"Don't panic, that will attract more" Pyrrha shouted
"Alright call them out people" Ruby ordered
"MANICORES AND SPHINXES INCOMING" Nora said
"I GOT BEOS!" Jaune shouted
"Razorwings incoming" Ren announced as he pulled out his weapons
"So much for being easy Weiss said as she created a series of Glyphs shooting a bunch of Sabyrs into the air giving Ruby the chance to snipe them with Crescent Rose. Yang looked around to see a pair of Manticores and punched them
"WATCH OUT!" Blake shouted as she sliced a Manticore in half as a Beowulf was about to pounce on her
"BLAKE!" Yang shouted as she tried to reach her teammates while Jaune sent the Beowulf over top of the Faunus as Pyrrha pinned it to the ground
"Nora!" Pyrrha said as Nora used her axe to decapitate the Beowolf.
"Thanks" Blake said as Pyrrha switched Milos to rifle mode
"No worries" Pyrrha said sniping a few Razorwings out of the air
"Is it just me or are they falling back?" Jaune asked
"Yeah they are" Yang said as the sirens stopped "What just happened?"
"I don't know but be on guard everyone" Ruby said
Suddenly out of nowhere a bolo was fired at Ruby ensnaring her
"RUBY!" Yang shouted before another was thrown at her
"Oh great" Weiss said as he and Blake were next to be ensnared
"GUYS!" Jaune panicked before he was captured
"What's going on" Nora said as she was nearly free, only to be tripped off her feet by a fishing hook. Soon a group of militarised looking Huntsman appeared
"Who's this clown" Yang snarled
"Unauthorised discharging of weaponry by unlicensed Huntsmen" the man said as he flicked a clover pin
"The Ace Ops" Weiss said
"You know these guys?" Ruby asked
"They're Ironwood's elite soldiers next to Winter" Weiss said
"Ah Miss Schnee, how nice to see you again, your father will be thrilled to see you're back" the man said as he handed her weapon to an Atleasian Knight
"I bet he will be" Weiss said as she was picked up
"We got movement" another member said as several gunshots rang out
"HAND THEM OVER CLOVER!" a voice rang out
"Who is that?" Jaune asked
"AH BARNES!" Clover shouted as a figure walked out of the shadows "Thompson"
"Clover" another figure said "Oh he Weiss" he said ripping the bonds off of the Schnee heiress
"Flash?" she asked as she saw Agent Venom standing near her
"as in Agent Venom?" Ruby asked
"Yes ma'am" Barnes said "Oh by the way I'm Sgt Bucky Barnes, code name" Bucky started before he fired on some Grimm "The Winter Soldier"
"Flash Thompson: Code name Agent Venom" he said destroying another one "And now shall we meet the others?"
"Others?" Yang asked as Bucky smiled and pressed a button on his earbud
"Revengers form up!" Bucky said
"Revengers?" the student asked as a dozen more figures came, Blake recognising one of them.
"Lord Hunter?" Blake asked shocked
"Hunter code name" Hunter started before he grabbed a Beowolf and shredded it "White Wolf"
"Isn't he a Wakandan?" Yang asked
"Sort of" Blake said as a couple of crescent shapes sliced a Manticore to ribbons
"Marc Spector, code name Moon Knight" he said as he used a spear to get rid of another Grimm
"Who" Weiss said
"Yeah he does that" a girl said before she sped off living a trail of coloured light before she stopped in front of Yang "Nice hair, Julie Powers codenamed Lightspeed" she winked before saving some civilians, soon the ground shook as a large Grimm appeared before them
"MEGOLIATH!" a civilian said
"I've got this" a voice said as man walked towards it growing larger with each step
"Bill Foster codename Goliath, he's like Ant-man, only he can't shrink" Bucky said
"Oh" Ruby said as two arrows flew into a Beowolf behind as two more members appeared behind Ruby
"Hey, Kate Bishop codenamed Hawkeye and this is Ronin, his a ninja samurai kind of guy" she said as Ronin turned a Sabyr into ribbon before wiping his sword off, turning and then bowing "He doesn't speak much for some reason"
"Oh" Ruby said
"INCOMING!" a digitized voice said as a Sabyr dropped from the sky flattening a Manticore "BOOM YOU LOOKING FOR THIS!"
"Iron Man?" Pyrrha asked
"Guess again, I'm Lt Col James 'Rhodey' Rhodes callsign War Machine" Rhodey said as he opened fire with all of his guns and missiles "Good to see you guys again"
"Yeah, thanks for helping us out back there" Ren smiled
"MY pleasure" he said sucker punching a Beowolf. Suddenlty a blue fist snapped a Teryx's beck in half
"Yo, I'm the Abomination, but you can call me A-BOMB!" A-Bomb said
"Watch your back" an accented voice said as a wide sword was in her hand "I'm Illyana Rasputin aka Magick" she said as she slashed a Sabyr
"And You watch yours" another Russian voice said as she stabbed two Beowolves "I'm Ava Orlava, but you can call me Red Widow" she said putting her blades away
"Agent Venom, White Wolf, Moon Knight, Lightspeed, Goliath, Hawkeye, Ronin, Magick, Red Widow, me...WHERE ARE THE OTHER TWO!" Bucky shouted as a Nevermore dropped down behind him
"Sorry Boss, we were late" a female voice said as two women approached. Nora becoming shocked at the other one.
"I'm Melissa Gould, aka Songbird" she smiled before unleashing a sonic blast
"And I am Aldrif Odinsdottir but you can call me Angela" she said before noticing Nora glaring at her "And what do you want?
"I am Elanora Valkyrie Thorsdottir" Nora said
"Thorsdottir, so you are Thor's daughter, making me your aunt" Angela said ruffling her hair gently "I'm sorry I didn't find you that day"
"You mean when the Nucklevee attacked?" Ren asked
"I do" Angela said
"How is she not freezing in that getup?" Weiss asked
"We wonder that as well" A-bomb said
"Anyway you all have to come with us" Clover said
"I don't think so" Bucky said
"No disrespect Sgt Barnes" Clover said
"Maybe we should" Agent venom said
"What?" Bucky said
"We can find out some things easier that way" Agent Venom said
"Fine we'll come with you" Bucky said
"We will?" War Machine and the Beacon students said
"I don't like this' Moon Knight said
"Suck it up Spector, obviously Buck's got a plan" Kate said
"Very well, but" Clover said as he started to restrain the Beacon students. Agent Venom was about to break them off when White Wolf stopped him
"Easy" White Wolf said before he was cuffed as well as the rest of the Revengers
"You're not licensed" Clover stated as they were lead off to a security transport.
"So where are we heading?" Ruby asked
"You'll see when we get there" the pilot said
"So who were those guys?" Jaune asked
"They were the Ace Ops" Weiss said "The elite level of Atlas' military"
"And the Revengers?" Nora asked
"We're not sure" Weiss said
"They showed up pretty soon after the Avengers disappeared" the pilot said shocking the group
"You mean?" Weiss asked as she and Nora locked eyes on each other concerned "they lost?"
"Dad" Nora said as Ren rubbed her shoulder
"Maybe we can go look for him" Pyrrha said before looking out the window "Hey guys"
"Whoa" Ruby said
"That's not the holding cells" Blake said
"That's Atlas Academy" Weiss said as the ship landed on a platform.
"Okay, someone's expecting us" Blake said
"Well we better move" Ruby said as the students moved out.
"I hope CFVY's mission is going better" Yang grumbled.
"Come on man, why are we doing this" Agent Venom said
"Because I want to find out what Ironwood is up to" Bucky said
"You think he made the others disappear?" Magick asked
"Maybe, but there was something off about the battlefield" Bucky said
"The Machines" Moon Knight said
"You don't think" War Machine said
"Maybe" Bucky said
"But how?' Lightspeed asked
"That is a good question" Bucky said
"You think it has anything to do with those weird signals?" Kate asked
"I'm not sure" Bucky said
"Okay this is it" Coco said as she and the rest of Team CFVY departed the Beacon Bullhead. "Welcome to Argus" she said
"But where is everyone?" Yatsuhashi asked
"I don't like this" Velvet said
"Nor I" Fox said
"Come on" Coco said as she walked towards the main square unaware what was waiting for her. Fox looked around his blind eyes peering around
"Fox?" Velvet asked
"Something's here" Fox said.
"Where?" Coco asked
"ON TOP OF US!" Yatsuhashi said drawing his blade, as something came at them. He swung his word at the enemy, which was revealed to be something they weren't expecting
"That's not a Grimm" Velvet stated
"Nope" Coco said
"Hey you four" a voice shouted as Team CFVY saw a woman with sandy blonde hair "Over here"
"Maybe she can give us the answers to this puzzle" Fox said as he walked over to her with the rest following him.
Once they were inside the Academy, the students studying there were shocked to see the heroes of Beacon being led like prisoners
"Not right man" a student said. The Beacons students were suddenly stopped as Winter and Penny walked out of the elevator
"Ma'am" the two soldiers said
"Winter" Weiss said happily as tears of joy pooled in her eyes
"You have 10 seconds to remove those before I send you to the medical wing' Winter said as the air chilled
"Yes Ma'am" The two scrambled quite quickly. Upon getting free from her bindings Weiss hugged her sister tightly
"I missed you" Weiss said
"I missed you too" Winter smiled
"Hey Winter" Ruby said
"Ruby Rose, thank you for looking after my sister, and you Yang Xiao Long for rescuing her" Winter said
"It was nothing" Yang said brushing her hand through her slightly longer hair
"I was quite surprised when I heard Beacon was back as a school" someone said as General Ironwood walked out of his office "And with Qrow being the headmaster as well"
"They let Qrow be headmaster, what were they thinking?" Winter asked
"Well he was a teacher before he started to you"
"Indeed" Ironwood said "And who is this?"
"Its classified" Weiss said
"Oh right, well there is something confidential I wanted to talk to you about as well, please come in" Ironwood said as he lead he group into his office.
"My, my, my" a robotic voice said as he sat in the middle of one of the factories that made the Robotic portion of the Atlas Military as multiple screens were active around a figure clad in a crimson cloak and mask as a silver hand manipulated them. "I can see why they would be afraid, but soon the Grimm will be the least of their worries" he said as a pair of red eyes flashed under his cowl.

G'day Guys Grizz here and after a long wait I'm back with the next exciting part of my Remnant Avengers where the Avengers have gone missing which happened in the end of Remnant Avengers War of Light, And since that time we've had two extra volumes of RWBY so there is more for me to draw on with than just vol 6 and 7, which was about to start when I wrote the original chapter for this, yeah this is the second attempt at this series, only it has been delayed. I'll try and remember the original plan, but CFVY going to Argus was not in the original, plus Qrow was with them as well. Don't worry this fic's final chapter will be that original chapter that I worked on, which I hope you all liked
