At the park which is full of flowers, the people are bowing to the royal king and the princesses. Despite that, they are companies by the female knights, a kitten, and a puppy. However, they allow them to go by their business in the park.
In the greenhouse, King Endymion, Lily, and Chibi Usa are looking around. Until King Endymion spotted something that has gotten his attention. "Moonflower," King Endymion spoke.
"Hmm?" Lily looked up.
"Tell me," King Endymion smiled. "What do these flowers mean to you?"
"Oh, the For-get-me-not?" Lily looks at the flower. "It is basically about not forgetting a person that you might know. Or not to forget about me."
"Good," King Endymion nodded. "And?"
"If I remember right," Lily rubbed her chin. "It can also symbolize a part of true love or the gift of two. If it is part of one symbolism for this flower."
"Good," King Endymion nodded. "You remember well."
"I thought roses are part of true love," Chibi Usa protested.
"True, but only when the petals are color red." Lily pointed out.
"Oh," Chibi Usa exclaimed.
"Good memory Moonflower," King Endymion nodded. "Then tell me, what symbolizes the colors of each different rose?"
"Only the few that I know of," Lily sadden.
"And I only know one," Chibi Usa exclaimed.
"Then name them as the best as you can," King Endymion tested them.
Lily thought for a moment. "Red rose is indeed the meaning of true love," Lily spoke. "Pink is for a relationship or into a relationship. The yellow rose is for friendship. The white rose is for purity and the black rose is for death. Well, white roses can also have the meaning of death but here is Crystal Tokyo. It symbolizes purity instead. I think." Lily becomes quiet as she struggles to remember the rest.
"Very good," King Endymion smiled proudly.
"Also that I have learned that rose petals can help people to calm their nerves when use to drink tea."
"Yes, that is good medicine for remembering with," King Endymion smiled brightly. "I am impressed."
"I bet that you have some notes that have written on your arm or have a hearing aid to cheat those answers." Chibi Usa grunted.
"With what proof to prove your assumption?" Lily crossed her arms with a cold look. Chibi Usa becomes quiet as she examines her older sister. Seeing Lily's ears are clear, her pockets are empty, and never seen Lily removing her sleeves to cheat.
Chibi Usa sighed in defeat. "Darn it," she grumbled.
King Endymion smiled with a sigh. "I'm going to look at the view before lunch. Wait for me a bit with the girls, all right?"
"Okay," the sisters nodded as King Endymion walked away.
"What's wrong with papa?" Chibi Usa asked in worry.
"I don't know," Lily replied. "I have never seen him like this before. Probably he has something on his mind. Let's not bother him about it. Let's meet with the girls before having lunch."
"Okay," Chibi Usa nodded as both of the sisters began to find the Sailor Guardians of the Gems.
When King Endymion was now alone, he sighed in relief. The girls are growing into fine young ladies. King Endymion smiled. I'm so proud of them. Suddenly, a flower petal floated in the air. "Huh?" King Endymion looked, "What?" he raised a brow. Suddenly, more flower petals have fallen from the sky. "What's this?" Suddenly, both of his daughters exited the other side of the building as they were looking for them. In shock, they suddenly see the flower petals floating everywhere in the air.
Lily gasped in shock.
"Whoa," Chibi Usa awed. "Pretty."
"Where did these flower petals come from?" Rue wondered out loud as she followed the sisters.
"Good question," Taylor replied as she and the others looked up in awe.
As everyone look up in awe, King Endymion saw something in the corner of his eye. He looks straight ahead, seeing a figure that has appeared out of nowhere and the figure is walking towards King Endymion. As the figure is coming closer, the clearer the view is to see his feature. In one shocking moment, something that is familiar that has flickered within King Endymion's mind. The young man has very pale skin, light brown hair, and modern clothing, and his eyes are pale gray-blue.
The young man smiled happily and kindly to him as he approaches. Suddenly, everything remained quiet and still as the flower petals disappeared without a trace.
"Papa," Lily ran towards her father. "Did you see the flower petals?" Before she could exclaim even further. A sweet but sincere voice has spoken.
"Hey," the man figure spoke.
"Huh?" Lily turned. Seeing a young man that is around the age of her own father. But wearing clothes that are from the 20th century, however, his clothes are well shaped and clean for many years. Without a wrinkle or stain upon it. The young man's eyes is full of joy as he stared at her own father.
"It's been a while, Mamoru." The man smiled gently.
"Mamoru?" Lily echoed as she exclaimed the man again. Suddenly, Lily become stiffen as she sensed something from him. This man… Lily thought. There is something about him that does not seem right. Lily began to up her guard.
"I'm sorry but…do I know you?" King Endymion becomes curious.
"It's me, Fiore." The man introduced himself in a kind, loving tone.
"Papa, do you know this gentleman?" Lily asked in concern.
"Huh?" King Endymion snapped out of his thoughts as he turned to his oldest daughter. "No, I'm not completely sure." King Endymion replied as he become curious himself.
"I'm sorry that I made you wait this long," Fiore approaches. "I feel really bad that it took as much time as it did…" the man smiled, "But…I have finally found a flower that will make you happy again."
"Stop right there, Mr. Fiore." Lily stepped in front of her father. Fiore stopped at his tracks.
"Moonflower," King Endymion spoke in concern.
"What business do you have with my father?" Lily spoke with caution.
"Father?" Fiore muttered softly as he examines Lily. "I see that you got his looks, you are indeed his own daughter. Guess that I missed the wedding and you already have a family now, Mamoru."
"Don't change the subject," Lily lightly blushed. "Just answer the question."
"Very well," Fiore nodded. "I am a childhood friend of your father's and I hope that he didn't forget the promise that we both made when we were kids while we were in the hospital."
"A promise…?" King Endymion echoed softly. "Forgive me, I barely have little memory since I left the hospital from my childhood years. So I must have that memory that you have spoken of disappeared a while back."
Or you could be mistaken for someone else. Lily thought.
"Oh, I see." Fiore's smile almost disappeared, "Well, you are forgiven Mamoru. I hope that you would remember this little memory that we both might have been shared with."
"Which memory?" King Endymion asked.
"A memory that I have with you was a promise that we both made," Fiore explained. "To see each other again after a flower a little exchange of a flower that holds our friendship with."
"A flower?" Lily echoed curiously. "Papa, do you know what he is talking about?"
"Barely," King Endymion replied.
"Daddy," Chibi Usa came to her father and sister's side, in worry. "Big sister."
"Uh…Small Lady," Lily spoke. "I told you to stay with the guardians."
"Forgive me, Big Sister." Chibi Usa apologized. "But I got worried."
"Understandable," Lily nodded as she accepts the apology.
"Big sister?" Fiore softly echoed as he examines Chibi Usa. "So, you got two daughters, Mamoru? You must have loved your wife that much." Fiore becomes jealous with a bitter taste in his mouth. "And I don't see any resemblance of you in her."
"Hey," Chibi Usa slightly barked.
"How rude of you," Lily protested. "You…"
"Unlike your eldest daughter," Fiore interrupted. "She is more like you every minute that I could see you. She has your fighting spirit, everything." He gently took Lily's hand and pecked her hand.
Lily blushed hard, in shock.
"Hey," a strange voice called out. "Keep your hands off of our princess." Fiore looks up, seeing girls in warrior clothing approach.
"Princess?" Fiore echoed confusingly.
Lily panicked as she removed her hand away from Fiore. Cradling it and turning away. King Endymion slowly wrapped his arm around his daughter. Cradling her from emotions and trying to calm her down. As well as protecting her from Fiore.
"Yes, Fiore." King Endymion replied as the Sailor Guardians of the Gems gathered around the royal family. "My daughters are princesses of Crystal Tokyo and I am sorry to say this. But I go by a different name now. I am King Endymion, King of Crystal Tokyo, and…I am afraid that you have been gone almost a thousand years."
"What?" Fiore took a step back. "Well, that would explain about sudden changes around Tokyo. But a thousand years? How come and how did you…?" He looks at King Endymion and Lily, seeing her mixed feelings that have started of what he has done. Feeling guilty, he turned away. "Never mind," Fiore began to walk away.
"What's his problem?" Rue wondered out loud.
"Don't know, don't care." Taylor clutched her fist. "But he shouldn't have touched our princess in the first place."
"I agree," Skylar nodded.
"Mamoru," Fiore turned. "I will fulfill the promise that we have made to each other. Hopefully, to keep our friendship from falling and remain strong. Also, I will have your daughter's hand to build our friendship to its peak." Suddenly, Fiore was surrounded by flower petals and disappeared without a trace.
